Made an updated Killer Tier List with Dredge

Strong: The right killers for high mmr

Good: Can do well in high mmr but, has some downsides

Alright: They're not good but, not bad either they'll either win in a decent high mmr or not

Meh: You're not that strong but, you can do your job just don't expect to win in decent high mmr to often

Need Help: You need some buffs

Butchered: You ruined this killer

Demogorgon is better than bubba in my opinion. Deathslinger not the worst

  • Artist definitely placed too low.

  • Slinger is in a decent spot imo. I think Artist is placed too low.

  • I think Deathslinger is actually pretty good, maybe in your "Alright" tier depending on perk loadout.

Save the Best for Last can help mitigate Deathslinger's slower aim time by getting faster hits, and Pain Resonance helps with his slower speed. Dead Man Switch is also great on him.

  • How many times do you have to be told that MMR doesn't exist ?

The developers have explained it themselves.

It does exist. All you have to do is look back to when they experimented for a couple of weeks with how the matchmaking algorithm handled various ways to pair people up according to their MMR to see it actually exists and is reasonably accurate. (When the brackets were tightened people had closer matches than when they were loosened.)

  • There’s no way Deathslinger is worse than literally every killer. At worst he’s slightly worse than Huntress.

Beyond that I mostly agree with which brackets the killers are in.

  • You have proof every day in each of your games that people are not matched according to their ranks/grade.

Indeed. Particularly if you play off hours. You sit for the full 5 mins in the queue then just get thrown in with whatever's available, regardless of MMR. Matches either last a few mins due to high MMR killers wiping the group/low MMR survivors getting the group wiped/high MMR SWF groups burning through gens or leaving you on a hook because you're not part of their group, or take forever due to survivors hiding from high MMR killers/high MMR survivors taking 40 mins to troll the killer.

You get weak BPs and any pips you had are eaten away (or at best you safety pip). After a series of these trials I usually go into "don't give a #### mode" and just farm totems/chests/unhook people/kick generators for challenges.

There needs to be an option to wait longer for a more balanced trial, separate SWF groups into a different queue vs solo for a difference in rewards, or add bots to the game to play with/against to actually get a full/fun trial.

  • I think on the contrary that we should neither wait nor play with people of the same level as us.

We should simply be able to play all the time whenever we launch a search.

An asymmetrical survival game means that not all survivors necessarily make it, so the killer gets results but not perfect results.
