  • I honestly don't mind a flashlight bully squad because they usually are way too altruistic and I usually will get at least 2-3k even if I don't catch one of them until 3 gens pop. You can always bet that there's one who is hovering for the save so it's just easy slug pressure and they're bound to slip up eventually. I had some try to infinitely pull the double locker flashlight save and eventually they messed up where I grabbed them trying to enter the locker and they weren't prepared for the timing. I'd rather have 4 flashlights over medkits, medkit protection hits can get annoying.

If I suspect either a squad or if they have matching outfits/names, I'll usually just equip starstruck to help counter them swarming the pick up. More fun than franklins/lightborn.

  • I think for the killer, it's sometimes hard to pace yourself and "slowdown" because if you play a little too laxed it sometimes gets out of hand real quick. I can definitely see letting up on the gas a little by maybe not slugging or leaving the hook to find people on gens. From my experience as killer and survivor, sometimes if the killer starts to play a little too relaxed and take a longer chase, there can definitely be a "comeback" or at least it gets a little more stressful.

As survivor though, if I know the killer is not great or afk, I literally stop doing gens after 3 are completed and start running around the map cleansing totems because its either NOED time and assuming I wasn't the one in chase the whole game, I want those nice BP. For the event, my friend and I were playing duo and we went against a not so great legion, so I literally cleansed all 5 totems because the gens were well under control. I'm definitely the type of survivor who will cleanse totems and open chests to get extra bp when its a killer that I know is well below the skill of the team.

  • Honestly, punishing a bad killer who's trying to hard tunnel is so satisfying... if you get off the hook first, heh. Camping and tunnelling is just part of the game atm so can't blame anyone who does. Just sucks when you get a string of games with this playstyle, then it's big sad.

  • Yeah, this achievement has really weird conditions that don't feel consistent at times. I wouldn't stress over it too much because you'll get it eventually just by playing. I've learned running Blood Pact in solo que can help this achievement if your duo partner isn't available.

Bruh, just look at this #########, stealth squads should be banned, not a single gen was touched that match

That looks like pain, at least you got a lot of BP from it.

Its not trolling, trust me. Here on the forums survivors and killers strongly disagree with each other on a lot of things and it often derails into unpleasant things. I try never to go that far even when I think people are being unreasonable or bias.

I cannot agree that not doing the primary objective of the role for a prolonged period of time is taking the game hostage unless there is literally no possible way out of it. In the case of survivors evading the killer, it is possible for the killer to find them even if it takes longer than usual. A body blocked survivor must leave the match to move on if they are last and the hatch is open. My definition of taking the game hostage is denying all possibility of the match to end. Survivors evading the killer isn't denying them the possibility of the match to end. It is merely prolonging it.

I can agree that the primary objective of a survivor is to repair gens and escape. However I do not agree that these objectives should be done in any time frame that is convenient for the killer. The possibility of the killer finding a survivor remains so long as a survivor is within the map. I don't encourage people to do this. I just don't think it should be a reportable thing. That is why I mentioned the surrender option.

From reading your opinion, I think there are some truths in it. In these situations, survivors have to be extra stealthy if they want to try and get gens done. In my personal opinion I think it's holding the game hostage when survivors don't even attempt to touch the gens. They can be stealthy and only do like 5% progress of a gen at a time. It at least hints at where they are at and they are progressing the game in a way. If a survivor is making no attempt to finish a gen and just playing hide and seek, I think this is taking the game hostage because their intent is to just wait it out. Especially in the case where the two survivors left are hiding together and walking around together, because they know that the other won't be found if they aren't found.

I can tell this hasn't happened to you from the killer perspective because even though it only happens once in a blue moon, it is incredibly frustrating when survivors take advantage of the map. I would say that RPD is probably the worst map for this to happen on. It's very big with many lockers and survivors can walk around in a circle to avoid crows. There are some obvious places that survivors hide (i.e. the library) but really they could be anywhere in that map. Survivors have done this against me when I've played Myers, Bubba, and clown who kind of don't have a secondary way to detect a survivor. On open maps, I would say that you can find a survivor usually without it going on for 10-15+ minutes easily, but RPD is one of the few maps that you can scour the whole thing and not find anyone for 15 minutes. It's just so big with many floors that you will be wasting time searching lockers and running down empty halls. Had some survivors who did this to me on midwich, and I was able to find them eventually because it's at least a little easier to trick the survivor with where you are and catch them off guard. RPD is just hell when survivors play hide and seek.

I think an interesting option to your surrender/concede method that could maybe make it so the killer wins instead of having to admit a loss would be giving them the option to have the survivors "consumed" by the entity if there is no gen progress for a prolonged time. To me, as long as their is gen progress, you at least have a trail to follow or an area you might want to check more intensively. That's what annoys me the most is that if the survivors are hiding no where near where gens are, it's so hard to find them because as killer, you are supposed to patrol the gens. Not run to the corners of the map to try and find someone crouched or in a locker. I personally never do this as a survivor because I know how annoying it is as a killer. I'll always sit on a gen to make some progress in the game because I'd rather risk my chances than waste everyone's time.

  • Ikr, I honestly would love to see many more killers in this dating sim. I'm hoping they will add crow mommy at some point because I just want to woo her and her crows.

  • I'll probably be playing tonight so I'll check out the challenge. I'll let you know if it's bugged for me as well. Best bet to get it fixed is to file a bug report, but I'll lyk my findings as well.

I have to disagree with just about everything here.

Healing is a factor in the game and provided it has a similar investment cost, it won't be busted.

People, generally, do not open chests. If survivors are opening chests, it's for a singular item or so, players typically do not typically waste time opening chests, even with the perk.

Except it isn't really a 'free heal' - it's a limited healing item that isn't even all that good. The time taken to open the chest and use your heal is on par with other healing times. Opening a chest still takes 6 seconds, and Emergency Medkits take 10 seconds to self heal. It's a one-time 16 second heal, which is still on par with the rest of the healing time investment meta. It's made even worse considering that it open works once - which makes it often the worst healing perk to take into a match in the entire game.

The thing is, I do not think Rummage should be separated - they should all be the same action.

By reworking Rummage into a universal action that can be affected by multiple perks - it makes it an interesting interaction.

There's no reason you cannot gain value of both at the same time, provided that you are allowed to rummage while holding an item and the rummage action does not cancel automatically until you find an item. The worst that may happen is the need to drop an item and pick up the one from the chest to begin rummaging again.

See your points, have to respectfully disagree with your conclusions.

I'm glad you like the treasure build - this change would not change such a build in the least.

Appraisal's token system should be abolished, IMO. I think it's pretty clear that using the two will cause your first Rummage item to be a flashlight. It may burn one of the Appraisal tokens in the process, but I'd like it if it didn't.

Yeah that's fair. I think it would only become busted if you were running appraisal and if it would heal you with unlimited uses at a chest. I honestly meant only this combo it would become kind of busted, or more so, just super annoying having a survivor take a protection hit and disappear to heal themselves in a quick time. They probably would just have to tone down the speed buff to the rummage action that appraisal gives. The idea of a 16 second rummage heal at a chest isn't too crazy, it has it's limits because you are locked to only 3 areas (on average) of the map. It would actually make coin offerings crazy strong in like swf scenarios.

I think I'm just an oddball when it comes to chests because I usually will raid a chest 3/5 games. Either because I'm hoping for a medkit or I finished a gen and we're already at 2 gens left with killer only having a few hooks. I'm the type of player who likes to do random side objectives if I have time because I'm all for the bp.

I get why they have a limit on the appraisal system. Some items can really change the game, especially if you have an entire build dedicated to it. I honestly think they should either just have a token system but you can use the tokens on the same chest or have no tokens and it's either a cool down or you can't rummage the same chest twice. It's not like the perk would ever be super op, and if anything, the time invested is probably too costly anyway. I really hope residual manifest doesn't take a token from appraisal. From what I've seen, RM has a token for itself, so in theory it would make sense for the perk RM to be favored and then tokens taken from Appraisal. We'll just have to see what happens when it comes to the live servers.

    You play on PC?

In ps4/ps5 you can just get the recording from the last x minutes, but if you are on PC not sure what options are available

I play PC. To my knowledge, there isn't a way to access x minutes of recording of screentime without having had some type of software downloaded. Though, it prob be helpful if OP added what platform they used. That's pretty cool that PS4/PS5 can do that, good to know.

Not sure how it would be any more or less busted than what we already have in the game.

    Boon CoH + Self-Heal - 46 seconds. Requires a totem.

Self Care - heal anywhere over 32 seconds

Inner Strength / Inner Healing - Heal self over 24 seconds of in-game activity. Can only be triggered up to 5 times maximum per trial.

Medkits - Heal over 16 seconds, can only do so a few times .

Teammates - Heal over 16 seconds. Takes 32 seconds of total team time and is contextual.

Asking for survivors to spend over 20 seconds in a very specific location with a very particular interaction is not at all out of the realm of possibilities.

I mean, just because those perks exist doesn't mean that we need to make another perk that has a busted heal time as well. I feel like pharmacy is already alright because of the buff to opening chest speeds. You're guaranteed one free heal and potentially could get more without wasting too much time.

I think your change would just have some weird unintended interactions as well. You could probably make the "rummage" interaction specific to this perk and separate it from the rummage of Appraisal, but I think this would just be confusing in wording. There are perks in the game that you can't get value out of simultaneously, but I think it would just be confusing having a rummage heal and rummage get item. I personally love playing treasure build and having fast open speeds and fast rummage for items. I'm already wondering how Residual Manifest and Appraisal interact.

Keep in mind, deep wound exists and could be triggered with ANY killer since it can be tied to a stiptic agent used the survivor so it can happen with any killer

Yeah I know, they just asked for the ranged killers. Assuming it's implemented and how everyone is saying it's going to work, the mori will just play out if they go down from deep wounds. It's a silly situation anyway because usually a survivor won't go down from deep wounds, but it happens from time to time surprisingly.

  • Artist and Trickster

Technically Twins if you down with Victor. There isn't a mori for just Victor.

Pyramid Head and Nemi can also down from a range, they're still close, but you can get downs from other sides of tiles.

  • @mouse0270 said:

So can someone tell me if I am understanding this correctly, The concept is, if you down the last alive survivor on a map the game will automatically start playing the mori animation?

So assuming that is correct, If I throw a hatchet across the map as huntress and down someone, do you guys like AI walk my killer to them and start the mori, teleport me, or my personal favorite, just start playing the animation right away and neither of us sees each other?

This is quite a funny situation to think about. I imagine if they implement the auto mori system (which I doubt by the backlash for it to be an option), they might limit it to an M1 basic attack. Imagine if a survivor bleeds out due to deep wound status, what then? In my head canon, I'd like to imagine the mori starts to instant play out where you stand so you are hitting the air 20 meters away from the survivor flailing on the ground.

  • I mean, your first game has a TTV, so some people just dodge because of that. I don't think cosmetics is the main reason why someone will dodge a lobby. I think it's usually either from the name or if they check profiles for hours and dodge because of that. Cosmetics can definitely be a factor, but I don't think changing everyone to default will make the killer dodge. If anything, it would be worse because the killer doesn't know if they'll load into the game with everyone looking the same.

It's the other way around, these slowdown builds do not work. It's the bamboozle and NOED build which actually produces the best results. I've played other killers and none of them struggle as much as Plague does, it takes too long to infect everyone and to get them to a state when you can actually instadown them. She's a slow killer with an unreliable gimmick which misses its target half of the time.

You have NO idea what I have to endure in the aftergame-chat, don't even try to judge me on my conduct. I'm not the aggressor here.

It might just be that plague isn't your playstyle. If you're fine on other killers, but you struggle with plague, it could just be that her more territorial nature isn't good if you do better at more chase orientated characters. If you struggle to infect survivors, I suggest that you run corrupt and infect the 4 gens that aren't blocked in the beginning. Also, don't focus on infecting a survivor directly during a chase if you have problems with the hit validation, try infecting the pallet or vault at a tile. This has been something I learned that is really effective because it forces the survivor to either get infected or you might get a free M1 from them pathing terribly. Also, whenever you pass a gen and have your normal puke, infect the gen. The survivors have to touch the gens to progress the game, so sometimes its best to kick a gen and infect it because you know they have to tap it or watch it regress. I saw you had call of brine on for some of the games, so this strategy could also help you if you haven't already been doing it.

I think it would be a useful perk if it turned each and every chest into your own personal medkit that never ran out of charges.

Wouldn't be finite like Inner Strength, doesn't run out of juice like a medkit, and doesn't require a boon totem. Just walk over to an open chest and start rummaging to heal yourself faster than a self-care!

That would be busted though. I honestly don't think Pharmacy is that bad of a perk that it needs to be changed. It's a niche perk.

  • They already slowly release old rift cosmetics in the store periodically, so I highly doubt they would ever bring back the old rift tracks. It would be nice if they would bring back old charms, but it seems like most of the community hates the charms, so they probably don't see it worth there time. (I like charms as well.)

I hope they will implement a level system, for example, chill, tryhard, etc...

It's so sad that the hackers just take advantage of the bots instead of actually putting some skills to use. As seen from the hacker bots, it's definitely possible to artificially create an insane bot or have a potato bot. If there was a difficulty level you could set for both killer and survivor, that would be so cool and amazing. I don't expect BHVR to do this because it would be so time consuming, and the idea of having an AI that would learn from how other people play is just a totally different field of coding.

NO I'M A GHOSTFACE THAT FARMS!! I like to teabag with the survivors it brings me joy.

I'm always afraid they have everyone 99 stalked and are just waiting to expose everyone and just T-bag on our heads. It's happened to me once where I was victim, and then I was always skeptic. Since then I only had it happen once, and I just stayed clear of Ghostie because of trust issues.

Trapper? Really? To me, Trapper's one of the likeliest killers to want to farm because people don't like doing his daily (which is understandable, because it's something survivors control, not the killer - Pyramid Head has the same issue.) Quite a few times I've found a Trapper who gets close to you and then sets up two traps and gestures at them. Never had any of them betray me.

Myers and Bubba are the ones I don't trust. Or at least, I don't trust them if they try to be friendly from the start - if one starts the game off by wrecking the survivors and lets them go, I'll go along with whatever they want because I'm only alive on their graces anyway. On the flipside, if a killer is failing the game hard and then suddenly wants to farm, I'm skeptical - doubly so if they camped or tunneled, because that's pretty mixed vibes. That sort of thing just makes me think NOED's coming.

Though I pretty much always trust farming when there's an annoying tome challenge for that killer that recently dropped. You were seeing a lot of farming Plagues when Scourge of the Purge was a thing, or Trappers when there was that 'catch a survivor in a trap, reset it, and then catch someone else in that trap' BS.

You see, I thought the trapper was farming. I'm like, oh, he's just farming. So I go down, but he takes me to basement... And then my friend comes to rescue me, and he grabs him from the unhook. And now we're both in basement. And that's the moment I went to my friend, "I don't think he was farming, we just got duped." He was setting traps and just stepping in them, I was tricked. So since then I'm just skeptic if I'm near basement.

  • I haven't had a killer farm with me in so long, so I don't mind it. The last time I can think of was last tome and a demo dog needed a mori (I was the obsession and they had rancor). I knew what they were doing so I took advantage of it and decided to get some pallet stuns (which was my challenge). I get some people don't like it, but I personally don't mind. Although, I will say I don't trust certain killers who want to "farm." (Ghostface, trapper, Bubba)

Man stealth is so broken, how do the devs even justify that??

Like really, with the oblivious effect being so op, how can they let that be unleashed on every killer. They basically made all killers stealth killers at this point. A lot of killers don't even need a perk, they have built in add-ons that make them stealthy.

Jokes aside, whenever I face a Nemi with tinkerer, his feet are so loud lol. I can hear him coming from a mile away.

  • @BenZ0 said:

Are you really the true naratu? I mean the real one?

Btw yes I agree Legion is so ######### op you cannot do anything, we are at the point where they look at you and you just drop dead. There is no counterplay whatsoever, the only way to play this game is to watch streams cuz the game makes it impossible to be playable for ppl.

I totally agree with you. They really need to nerf Pig and Sadako. They're too overpowered with their stealth.

  • The only thing I could think of is that you don't have 4 empty perk slots available. So they didn't code it to actually accept that has equipping 0 perks. You could maybe try to submit a bug report to see if they can fix this.

  • @Moxie said:

It's really weird to see everyone saying "yOu jUsT aReN't pLaYiNg rIgHt" when you literally mention Plagues Power being bugged which I experiences many times too.

This has nothing to do with perks or balance. A Killer POWER is not working correctly, meaning Plague cannot be played to full protentional.

Plague's power definitely can be buggy at times because of hit validations and latency, but the OP also mentioned at some point that they don't have the best set up, which could also be the reason they might be struggling to use the power. Having a lag spike during a crucial point in a loop definitely will mess you up, and it isn't necessarily the game's fault.

Another problem with OP is that they're mentioning a lot of situations where it sounds like they aren't playing Plague to the full potential because of bad macro decisions. If they're consistently losing 3-4 gens in their first chase, it's not a killer problem at that point, but a user problem.

  • @Canas said:

This isn't playable, it's just loss after loss no matter which strategy I try. Gens get done so fast, I can't even get more than a hook before they finish their objective. Matchmaking doesn't even bother to adapt, it's quite literally nonexistent. How the hell am I supposed to enjoy playing this killer if she constantly gets bullied?

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/SXTPDA3R4QU5/toxic-bullysquad.png

I think it's not a problem specifically of the killer being bullied, but I think you are just being bullied. Not necessarily a problem with the killer's mechanics in itself, but just that the survivors are a little more skilled compared to your skills with her. You also weren't running any slowdown perks, so if you over committed to one chase without getting any hooks, you essentially had 3 dead perks for most of the game.

I advise that you try to run tinkerer on her so you can at least have a better gauge to when gens are getting done so you know when a chase has gone on for too long. If gens are flying, focus on using corrupt and thanat so you can get a few survivors infected and injured so you have some passive slow down while you get that first down. Maybe even use both the seal add-ons or a seal add-on and the one that makes infected rate faster for interacting with infect objects. Have No Way Out maybe so that you can pick up that red puke and beamline to the gate and maybe you can get an end game snowball rolling.

  • I always compliment the killer when they're on my platform and they played in a fun way or have a fun build. If it was just a normal game I'll go gg and move on, but when the killer was good or scary. I'll always compliment them because it's rare seeing certain killers or such high skill. I also like being able to compliment my team if they played well too.

  • And this is why we have corrective action, so we can bring our noob friends along and babysit them on the gens.

Not gonna lie, having a Botlette that runs into the corner to self-heal every time she is injured, a Bwot that hides in the nearest locker when he hears a terror radius and a Bake that constantly sabos hooks would be very funny.

I'm wondering at what level they're making their bots at. I went into the tutorial match because I was testing their tutorial bots, and I afked for 15 minutes (had to do something) and came back to them still needing to complete 1 gen. I literally stood still and two survivors walked into my traps unprompted. The tutorial bots are really silly, so I wonder how realistic custom game bots will be. Imagine opening a locker as huntress only to find a Dwot lurking in there.

We both seem to be the only ones who really like the artist :(

Artist main here. I love her too<3 Her latest skin is so cool.

  • I will say though, that the only reason I have done this to a teammate is when they have made no effort to save me or just have hidden the whole game (not doing gens or not unhooking my teammates).

  • If this is happening to you more than once in a blue moon, than I am so sorry. This is definitely not a normal thing and you must be very unlucky with the teammates that you get.

  • I think it's fair that they have DS because Kobe off a hook is so rare, might as well let them have it. You either are away from the hook so they have DS with you not around and they waste a minute not touching a gen or healing or you hit them off hook and slug them.

It's not like they get BT from unhooking themselves, so its easy to just slap them and leave them on the ground. Even with deliverance, deliverance gives you a built in time for when DS is out (unless they have vigil). What if they have unbreakable? Good, they just wasted their unbreakable and you don't have to worry about it later.

  • @Mat_Sella said:

would you want to fix this bug?

I can think of many situations where I was a killer who I wished could attack a survivor up a hill, all while they teabag me as I have to traverse all the way around it.

You could already hit a survivor on a hill with a crow. The crow flight path showed it going through the hill, but it would still swarm a survivor if you shot it. It basically was a guaranteed hit because you would just send another to damage or M1 the survivor if they fell from the hill.

I would definitely want this bug fixed (if it is a bug) because it would be annoying if I tried to shoot a crow through a hill to a gen and it take the higher flight path because the crow won't hit the survivor on the gen then. Especially in these photos, the crow flight path looks like its super high, so it would definitely fly over their heads. It's not a situation that would happen a bunch, but would definitely be annoying if you had to take some extra precious seconds to divert around a hill so the flight path doesn't get affected.

  • They had a lot of good stuff in the stream. I'm so excited for so many small things that really mean a lot to the community because it's just stuff that makes the game feel better.

I'm so excited for the new prestige system. I started to prestige all my survivors and have 16 of them P3, so I'm excited this change will most likely be implemented before I start P3 killers. I was really not looking forward to having to P3 my killers AND get all perks on them. This reduces the grind soooo much and I'm eager for our "special" surprise.

Something really small that I think is awesome they didn't forget was that we will be able to select both a killer and survivor tome challenge at the same time. It's such a small detail, but makes the process more streamline for the player. I really appreciate that they decided to implement this.

I love the new main menu. Though change is hard for many people, it just feels cleaner and not as blocky and clunky. I think it's awesome as well that they made this change to help accommodate for other languages, it must feel good for them to have a more optimized main menu.

Preset loudouts is amazing and the preset outfits. Nothing else more to say than plain awesome.

I also love the anniversary masks. They are beautiful and I can't wait to equip them to my survivors and killers for the event. I appreciate this much more than the grindy crowns in previous years. I'm an artist main so I'm glad she got one, but even my non-mains I'm so glad I can get these cosmetics for them.

I doubt my rig could even support that. My CPU is so outdated that it occasionaly leads to lag/framedrops and ingame-sound cutting off entirely. I can't imagine how much worse my performance would get if I tried running a recording tool on top of that. I'm already playing at low settings, too.

It could be the servers screwing you over, but just hearing about your set up, some of your missed hits could just be because of that. My laptop isn't the greatest at running DbD at times, and I have some unfortunate lag spikes as well. I've played plague plenty of times to have my puke directly hitting the survivor where they show the animation that they got hit but no sickness. It happens.

It seems that you overcommit during your first chase with her, which is most likely where you're problem is coming from. And of course, you kind of are forced to camp the hook because that's the most strategic play at that point of the game. Plague is really strong at camping a hook, especially when she has her red puke, most survivors will commit to gens if you camp with her just because its a suicide mission to get the unhook otherwise. If you commit to a chase, of course the other survivors are going to sit on gens, they don't really have to gen rush you for this to happen.

I'm curious to know your success rate on other killers. Maybe plague's mechanics are just different than your normal playstyle on other killers and that's why you struggle with her. There are some killers that you can really lean into their strengths and if not taken advantage of, it's very easy to struggle with them. From your devotion level, it seems like you play a lot, so it might just be that there's something about plague that isn't fully clicking like it does with other killers. Do you have most of your playtime on killers?

Also, just stay clear of end game chat. Throw in a gg and hit next. No point in engaging with other players if you feel salty about a game. You'll most likely just feed their enjoyment and there's no point in doing that.

    Don't get me wrong . . . I love the masks. I think they're beautiful.

But not only do NONE of the characters I love / play get one.

But I hate that these items are always ONE-offs that NOTHING goes with.

At least give us a recolored outfit item or two to pair with it IF NOT something original.

WHAT are we supposed to pair with these? TRICKSTER is the ONLY one with something to go with this.

    The survivors have N O T H I N G.

I'd like if it hey made us earn the items they normally would have us earn and THEN SPLIT the rest of them ( Limited time recolors / new cosmetics )via putting them in the USELESS charm slots in the RIFT and in the shop.

Let's face it, WE DON'T USE the charms that are just a PICTURE ON A TAG. The really BASIC charms that aren't a unique mesh shape or anything. WE DON'T WANT MORE OF THOSE. STOP giving us those and GIVE US what you ALREADY HAVE MESHED that ALREADY WORKS in a NEW COLOR / pattern to go with the ITEM YOU'RE PUTTING OUT to be special so we can ACTUALLY USE IT and make it look NICE.

It sucks that none of your mains got a mask, but at least with these masks, I could imagine it pairing better than the anniversary crowns. I don't think I've ever seen a survivor with a crown on because they're bad for stealth and they aren't super special. These masks at least look cool and usually (at least for survivors) they have one fancier outfit that would look cool for a masquerade. I'd honestly rather have these cool headpieces instead of just a recolor of a normal skin.

It also seems that I'm one of the few people who actually likes the charms. I enjoy customizing my characters with them because I try to match the charms to the personality of the survivor or the holiday during the seasonal times. I thought this anniversary set of charms were really cute and was excited to equip them. So, I wouldn't speak for everyone when it comes to charms because I love being able to have that extra customization.

  • That looks hilarious. I play a lot of Artist and I don't think that's intended. You can shoot birds to hit people on hills, but the flight path shouldn't be looking like that. It seems that Artist has been having a lot of weird bird placement issues lately.

  • I mean, I guess. I still think it kind of takes away from giving the survivors a chance to DS or flashlight save if the killer decides to go for the unhooked survivor right after that 9th hook. I've had many games that came down to a 3 v 1 where we just need one more gen left, so losing that third survivor because the killer knows they can kill them off without worrying about DS could take away some time for us to finish the last gen and escape. I feel like it would only come into play and be negative for the very close games, but other than that (normal game where it was likely the killer would have won) the change wouldn't be terrible. It would give the option to mori, which sometimes isn't always ideal anyway (challenge, adepts, more points).

I just think making the mori almost basekit can be dangerous in some situations, but given that they're trying to adjust the base game and working on a bunch of stuff, hopefully it would balance out properly. I love seeing the mori animations, so I'm excited to see what they do.

  • I love clown's party bottle. Confetti for everyone. It's always a party in the entity's realm.

  • I'm not sure where you found that she makes the least on average, but I know the Twins also struggles to get bp just because victor doesn't count as a chase and the style of slugging and snowballing on that killer usually ends with not a lot of hooks. If you're struggling to get the first down, that's more something that needs to be worked on from a gameplay aspect. The first down is always the hardest thing to get on most killers. What would probably help you more with delaying gens until the first down would be perks like Corrupt Intervention and Thana. Corrupt will delay the first two gens from popping while you can puke on the 4 gens that aren't blocked. The survivors then have to choose to either wait out corrupt or make themselves sick, which getting them infected kicks off your power. Plague gets so much value with thana because it is very easy to make survivors sick.

Unless I get completely rolled, I usually can get at least 15k on Plague and usually I average at least 20k to 25k on her.

  • If you're only getting 11,000 bp, I feel like it's more than just the killer that's the issue. She's very tricky to use, and I don't play here often because I'm not fond of her puke physics. Although, her ability to defend a hook is insane, and because of her power, you can easily hit multiple survivors at once. Her infection also gets rid of a health state for a survivor, so if the survivors don't cleanse, you essentially turned all dead hard survivors from 3 to 2 health states. Her red puke is the key to doing well as her, and once you master the angles and how it flows, you can usually steamroll the survivors.

  • I think a lot of your problem comes from just that plague is tricky to play and if you can't get the ball rolling, you get rolled. If you have no momentum build up, she's essentially just an M1 killer. Without her power, she can be pretty weak in chase and it's difficult to drop chase to pick up some puke sometimes. You also weren't running crazy perks and add-ons which I commend you for. The survivors all brought meta perks and just had better load outs going into the game (at least they all had med-kits). Plague definitely isn't a killer that should be claimed as weak because her snowball potential is so high.

  • I think you should take a break from killer and play soloq survivor for awhile. You'll learn that the game isn't inherently survivor sided, but more so sided towards the perks and playstyles. The side that has better "things" brought into the trial is the side that is favored. It can also come down to a skill issue, but that's besides the point. This game is both survivor and killer sided depending on what people bring, how they play, and what skill level you are at.

I hear they're changing a bunch of perks, is this true? If so "finally"

I've made numerous suggestion threads regarding this very thing. We're tired of seeing BBQ, Scourge Hooks, Pop, Undying/Ruin, Corrupt on killers "all" the time and Dead Hard, DS, Unbreakable, BT, Iron Will, Spine Chill, Resilience on survivors "all" the time.

People taht play this game need incentives to play other perks as currently there are none because all other perks are weaker or straight out bad.

They said that they have 40 perks that they're going to look at, including the top 5 used for killer and survivor. They also mentioned changes to the base game so that these perk changes reflect a balanced game and doesn't just encourage tunneling and camping.

Also, your suggestion for Territorial Imperative is just backwards in how it's buffing the distance. In this case, you would want to decrease the distance that it requires to proct because this means that the killer can be closer to the basement and see the aura of the survivor that enters. They would be able to get to the basement quicker because instead of returning to the basement at 32 meters away, maybe it would only be 24 meters (if you buffed the distance).

Really? I wonder how it can be unique, but not cosmetic.

Some people have speculated it's either a special border around them in the pick menu or something to do with what others can see in the lobby menus. I honestly have no idea if it's not a cosmetic or charm. I'm kinda hoping that it's whatever the unique thing is and then maybe a bonus in bp/shards.

  • Mandy has already mentioned in other posts that the distinct reward will not be cosmetic related. So presumably yes, we will be getting rewards for everyone.
