I don’t mind them going MIA. Oni is the killer that I turn stupid against. I always play so badly against them.
-
Every time I see the killer burn BPS it’s a matter of “I’m going to poop on y’all but I’ll feel a smidgen of guilt about it so here’s a BPS.”
BPS/cakes make me nervous on both sides of the fence.

discordance and kindred are among the best perks and are barely used for some reason
Kindred is great but requires a more selfless mindset and I’m guessing people don’t want to burn a perk slot they think is better used for survival.
I find it hard to use sometimes because I already have multiple perks I consider essential for solo queue.
-
I hate Freddy. When there was no DC penalty I would leave as soon as I saw it was him. In my 3k hours in this game I’ve never run into a chill/goofy Freddy.
Used to hate ruin/undying/tinker Blight, but since the nerf it hasn’t felt nearly as frustrating.
-
Loved this series ever since it first aired on MTV.
-
Diversion has been a lot of fun recently. Killers will typically get tricked once or twice at first, but afterwards it’s still useful as you can throw it at an area you want the killer to ignore as they’ll typically just assume you’re trying to pull them away from somewhere else.
I’ve been thinking of trying to work Boil Over into a build. Had several close calls with wiggling recently where boil would’ve gotten me free.
-
Hunty smacked you so hard that the entity had to step in and show you some dc mercy. Hehe
-
Do killer mains not care if they get slugged for the 4K at all when they play survivor?
-
Also no point in being able to see when you can just poop out traps and furiously scroll your mouse wheel to get dem hits.
-
I like the idea of changing the second hook state mechanic so that the struggle is automatic. People will always find ways to peace out, but this would give the rest of the team extra time to push objectives.
-
If you can’t find a single immersed survivor in 17 minutes, the problem isn’t them...

Best one I've seen so far was Dead by Gay Dwight.
I've used Head by Gay Dwight before. Hehe
Right now I'm Twerkin for Jesus
-
I HATE being slugged and seeing the whole team get slugged, but I have to admit it's a viable strategy. The only thing a killer does in the game that I consider toxic is hitting survivors on the hook.
-
I love hearing this! I change my name a lot to whatever goofy crap I can think of. I hope I've made people laugh.
-
I'm ok with it. As people have said there are several survivor techs that weren't intended that remain in the game to this day, so let killers have their techs too.
-
Ahhh, thanks for the input! I was getting salty about it but now I know better.
-
Cool story bro.

Weird don't know why anybody would hate on it.
Some doofus with the name Mike Rotchburns asked me why I was playing the "obese betch." Like, seriously dude?
-
As a solo queue survivor I hate getting put into a group with these sorta people too, mostly because killers always assume I'm part of the squad.

Janes with the new outfit get free hatch from me every single time. I don't know what about the outfit that gets me, but if you see an ugly clown with the wooden head and you are wearing the new jane outfit you will get free hatch. I think I've given out like hatch out of most of my games today because of it lol.
Hahaha, I got the new Jane skin and I've gotten free hatches out of it today too.
Also got some weird incel hate in a couple pregame lobbies too.

And then, when You've sweated blood to really get good at her, you'll come to this forum and see threads like "nurse is too strong and needs a nerf/rework".
Does this really even happen anymore?
I agree with Scott Jund's relatively recent opinion about why she isn't really complained about anymore. When you go against a monster Nurse you know its because the person playing her is really skilled with her, and I at least inherently respect that even though I hate getting stomped. The nerf she was hit with just made her skill ceiling higher and a lot of people walked away because she wasn't a relatively easy 4k dispenser.
-
She needs dedication, but after you spend time on her she becomes very rewarding.
-
That snap has to be one of the most satisfying noises in the game.
Edit - As a Mikey main PLEASE tell me you do Spooky Myers on Lerys sometimes? I looooooooooove going against that as a survivor. Only time this game is ever scary. I don't even remotely care if I get stomped. So much fun.
-
Nurse literally has the highest skill ceiling in the game. You cannot go against a red rank team as a first time Nurse and expect much.
-
Dwight is the only one you listed with more than one truly useful perk, so I'd go with him first.
After Dwight it's honestly dependent on what other perks you've already unlocked. If you have Quick and Quiet from Meg then you should definitely go for Jane next.
Tapp would be next in line as his perks also have synergy (Tenacity and Unbreakable most notably.)
Last is Adam because even though his perks are useful to decent, they don't synergize with anything else really. I guess Deliverance and Decisive Strike, but you shouldn't really be unhooking yourself too close to the killer anyway. You can if you want to be toxic I guess?
-
I don't understand DCing against either perk tbh. If a killer has Franklin's it means they're running a 3 perk build essentially because smart survivors will store their items somewhere and go to them when needed against the perk. Hell, I rarely bring even a mediocre medkit.
Devour gets DCs because I think people just generally dislike being... Moried? Mori'd? I used to lobby dodge them entirely because they were straight fun-deleters. They feel balanced now though. Devour Hope is just a hex though, so when you see that dreaded 3rd stack hit notification you best be hunting for dem bones.
-
This is all subjective to what you consider "winning." As people will have different interpretations, there will be differing opinions. Y'all don't really think y'all are going to change anyone's mind with this, right?
-
Yeah, sorry killer mains. Dead Hard is not powerful enough to warrant a nerf. You only hate it in the hands of competent survivors, but then competent survivors know how to maximize the usage of each of the exhaustion perks.
Aim at something that actually needs a nerf. Although with OoO and DS being spanked a bit I'm not sure what that leaves you to gun for. Or is that why DH is on the menu now?
-

I wish more people would learn that the problem is and always will be latency when you play online games. What you see is not what the server sees and definitely not what other players sees.
Except that hit validation exists.

I uninstalled it about 3 weeks ago after playing it since December 2016, i am not missing it as much as i suspected i found games which were more side games to me as new main games for me.
No more (nearly or complete) Problematic server, Hitboxes, Bugs, Salt or Toxic ppl.
I came back for the newest update to this forum (expecting trash talk and so on) and i wasn´t dissapointed, Nothing changed, just everyone complaining over and over again about a game which will always have the same problems.
I realised this game isn´t what i fell in love with. So in the end i just leave a broken community and a what feels like bad copy of dbd behind. (except those few ppl who i had fun with sharing memes on posts etc. it was sometimes fun ^^)
Ppl will write we won´t miss u or see you again (because apparently every thread has someone stating this) and you know what, your words won´t change reality.
I do not have any desire to install this game, if you want to lie to your self do so but don´t bother other ppl with it.
For me I won´t be bothered by it. (I will probably won´t come back for my own post so sorry if i don´t respond anymore)
mmmk, see you next chapter.

Yup, I've been getting hit around impossible corners, over pallets that have already fully dropped, and through head on animations. I really wish another game would come along because these stupid BHVR fvcks don't deserve this game.

BHVR gave us the good ol' bait-and-switch this time.
@not_Queen Shame on y'all.
-
Hit validation broken, being hit on the other side of dropped pallets, being hit through a head on animation. This patch is hot fvcking garbage.
-
I double pipped twice in bad games. It's so messed up right now.
-
I've noticed a definite uptick in weird hits. It's like hit validation was turned off again.
-
Isn't the optimal playstyle for survivors to all split up and do gens separately still?

Ok, that's my personal wishes for the next big update (not 4.5.0. cuz this one is pretty much already set in stone, probably not 4.6.0. either since it's gonna be a chapter update so probably 4.7.0.)
Killer related:

- Manna Grass Braid: Stays the same.
- Leather Loop: Stays the same.
- Oak Haft: Stays the same.
- Shiny Pin: Buffed the increased movement speed while holding a hachet from +5 % to +12.5 %.
COMMON:

- - 8 Tokens: No Skill Check warning sound for Repair and Healing actions.
- Monstrous Shrine:
- - Allows you to teleport to any generator while inside the basement.
- - Teleport action takes 5 seconds.
- - When teleporting to a generator, Monstrous Shrine goes on cooldown for 120/100/80 seconds.
- Distressing:
- - Increases the Terror Radius by 6/7/8 metres.
- - Survivors inside a chase suffer from the "Oblivious" and "Blindness" Status Effects.
- - Gain 200 % more Bloodpoints in the "Deviousness" Category. Bonus Bloodpoints are awarded post Trial.
- Hex: No one escapes Death:

- - Missed Attack cooldown is reduced by 40/45/50 %.
- - This effect persists as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.

- - The Perk gets disabled once when used.
- - The Perk deactivates as soon as you do any actions after getting unhooked.
- Unbreakable:
- - You can recover 50/55/60 % faster.
- Distortion:
- - You start the match with 3 Tokens.
- - For the next 8/10/12 Seconds, when your Aura should have been revealed to the Killer, it will not be revealed and you will not leave any Scratch Marks during that time.
- - Escaping the Killer during a Chase will refill 1 Token and you cannot get up to more than 3 Tokens at a time.
- Lightweight:
- - While sprinting, press the active ability button to not leave any Scratch Marks for the next 30 seconds.
- - The Perk has a cooldown of 80/70/60 seconds.
I'll probably edit this if I have any more ideas but for now it's done.
An awesome list! Only thing I don't like is the Unbreakable change as it would make the perk unusable.
-
What killer was it? If it was a Wraith or Freddy it'd be understandable. BT will only activate if a heartbeat is present.

What substance do you suggest I provide? There was nothing flippant about it. You called what I said BS as if I'm lying. I thought your comment was fairly flippant.
Giving new players faulty advice is wrong. The only people who would take you seriously are newer players. Newer players face newer killers who most definitely do not act in accordance with your observation. "Hey survivor, don't struggle" as if that's not the overall point of the damn game. Your advice is at best marginally useful and at worst actively harmful.

Why is delving into your post history amusing? I didn't want to wrongly accuse you of hypocrisy and your post history easily provided evidence. You're more than welcome to laugh at killers for DC, it won't change the fact that you're no better than those you laugh at. Heck, I'd argue you're worse since you take joy out of other people being miserable.
You dc'ing/suiciding to avoid things you don't like is actually worse than a killer getting frustrate and dcing. Killers who DC almost always do it out of frustration due to the fact that matchmaking has screwed them over by putting them against players who are much better than them. I give them credit for at least trying before giving up, unlike you, who probably tried to get out of a match from the start when faced with adversity.
I'm not trying to sway you, in my experience, there is no reasoning with spoiled people who want things handed to them.
Oooh, moving into personal attacks on my character without knowing me. If I wanted things handed to me I'd use OP perks in a SWF. Keep trying though, honey. I'm sure someone will give a #########.

Because the twins were a terrible killer in terms of gameplay (most don't like them). They are literally designed to be good at tunneling and camping. The patch that came with them also broke the game for a few weeks.

Honestly, the part I'm getting mad about is how we have to wait so long for so little.
Hardly anything was changed, we had a handful of perks updated, 2 realm reworks, clown rework, and the crappy UI and animations. Plus the trapper and wraith buffs ( unsure how the change affects trapper )
I'd be fine, but annoyed if they took another week for the update.
Facts.
Edit - to provide substance to my reply. It feels like more and more time is being devoted to fixing things they break with an update than on the content of the update.

I disagree. As a killer main, when a survivor decides to DC I just let the others farm or kill them as fast as I can so they can move on to the next trial. DCing is not amusing, it is frustrating.
Disagreeing is fine. I'm sure some people on both sides find it more frustrating than anything else. I will continue to find it hilarious though, and there is nothing actually wrong with that. What WOULD be wrong is if for some reason the killer was PC and stayed after the game and I mocked them in chat, which is something I DON'T do.
-
I love that they were going for a spookier ambience, but it feels like at the last second they dialed it back and we're left with a mix of spooky and bland.
That said, I love the map updates. Maps were getting verrrrrrrrrry stale.
-
Hopefully they delay the release of the patch until they fix some of the things it broke. They need to slow down and focus on quality anyway, because the game is starting to feel like a house of cards.
