Sorry if this is news to you, but this was never a team game, teamwork can help YOU and you do it when its in your best interest.
But if it negatively impacts you, you dont have to partake in any of it.

Very soon. The other day i got a lobby with 3 people with that globe symbol next to their names. I got kicked of the lobby but they are implementing that very soon for sure
you do know that globe just measn they bought the game on the windows store right?
also I doubt MS and SONY will allow gamers to play crossplatform between those 2, but many Playstation and PC players can play together in the future.

You just hooked somebody, you go look for that claudette you just saw on you BBQ&Chilli but you can't find her. Then the person gets unhooked. Why wouldn't you go back to the hook? Half of the survivors on the match are there.
You just hooked somebody, you go 20 m away and he/she gets unhooked. Why wouldn't you go back to the hook? It's the closest target and again half of the survivors are there.
You went back to the hook and the only person you find is the unhooked guy. Why wouldn't you tunnel him/her? Is it your problem if the other survivor decided to stealth? Should you pretend you didn't see the unhooked guy?
If you can give me reasonable answers, I appreciate it.
you can do whatever you want, you can choose not to help the old lady across the street, you can choose to throw that finished can of cola on the streets rather then keeping it with you and throwing it in a garbage bin later.
People in general will judge you for your actions but its your choice so do what you feel is the right thing to do.

I mean I searched in google for license holder of The Creeper but that's it. Didn't want to go on a search so I just asked.

What exactly is the problem with the license holder of The Creeper?
hell you could just look it up

Freddy can just do too much, he is super cheap and just not fun to go against ever.
When I see a freddy I give it a shot but they often show themselves as scum so I just die on the hook and move on to a match more worth my time.
But yeah, they messed him up in just about any sense, old freddy was in every way better apart that he needed some tweaks which were suggested by many many MANY players over a long course of time....

they do, but the point is just the weird inconsistency

Most people don't even consider it, so they don't bother avoiding crows. As far as finding people goes, it's pretty good.
The downside is that you get a lot of loud noise notifications, so you might miss things like missed skill checks unless you're paying close attention.
Its almost like its kinda cheap this game has like 3 sound files it uses over and over again...
Maybe add something custom for some of these notifications, like for spies and discordance.

There's a lot to consider. Gen speed is a major topic around the community so I wanted to see what people think of this change idea should it happen.
its just of not value and premature, we will see when its actually here and people have actually and hopefully properly, tested it
-
What is there to think about? We will see when it gets here
-
Ya know what really helps? stop caring about your idea of "winning".
Have matches where your goal is nothing but get hits with bottles with the clown, no M1's, no hooking, no slugging, just throwing bottles.
Have matches where your goal is nothing but to get shots with the deathslinger, hit target and break the chain, no M1's, no hooking, no slugging, just shooting and released.
Just stuff like that, its pretty damn fun and you might learn something, only problem is when people start running at you etc because now you are just wasting time for the most because there is no difficulty if people try to get hit.

Maybe it's just a case of the gitgud, but idk.
Whenever I get Dead Dawg Saloon or get the Deathslinger, I feel pretty helpless in a chase (more so than getting even Hawkins or a good Spirit) regardless of how long the chase goes on for. I have 1000+ hours in this game (mainly as a Survivor) and I can't really tell why I feel like this. Something just feels off with those aspects of the chapter.
Am I alone in this?
go around every corner you see as fast as you can, deathslinger wont be able ot hit you

Man, those survivor-sided Devs are ruining the Killer experience once again.
more a case of throwing a bone so not all of them stop playing killer all together, killers are needed to have matches and the game not flat out die
-
They made it a little less infinite by putting up some objects so you can catch up.
All I can say is that I lose all respect of survivors who keep going to windows like that, its just pathetic, I tend to just throw the game at that point and just sit in the basement untill they all leave.
If they dont want to play, fine, no game for anyone.
-
I always said we should just get a can of gazoline to fuel a gen before or after repairing it
-
sooo fix your internet? update your router? port forward?
You are a detriment to the team while your connection is so unstable that it disconnects you, thats why the penalty is there, fix your internet.
-
I think his lunge feels far more far reaching then many other killers actually
-
Just Copy/Pasting from the other thread:
Survivor is ez mode yes, its just far more relaxed in every way:
Dont like how the match is going? Die on the hook
Actually get caught after an intense chase in which atleast a gen got done? time to relax on the hook, catch your breath a bit.
Killer meanwhile has to sweat it out from start to finish or just give up and sit in the basement and HOPE survivors will do gens quick so you dont waste too much time + the risk of being banned for "afk'ing" too much.

No, just a rank 1 survivor and rank 6 killer, aka someone who plays both roles and understands the state of the game beyond petty "survivors are op and toxic" and "killers are op and toxic" fisacos. DC'ing is only right to do when the killer has the worst ping and the game is literally unplayable since survivors get hit from 20 meters away every 10 seconds, or when real life issues pop up. Otherwise play the game as intended and don't abandon your team.
implying you are a team and not 5 individual players...

meh I would not ask for help regarding these things, maybe later when you THINK you know everything you might learn some quircky stuff but just play for now.
Kinda boring if you limit yourself to what others tell you to run, make up your own mind, YOU CAN DO IT!
-
Well yeah the game is rather simple in its mechanics.

Play survivor and reach rank 6, then you can post on my thread
Rank 3 right now so im good thanks
-
good thing they dont need justification then huh?
-
is imo a bigger problem then moris or keys or any other "ultra rare" add on themselves, IF THEY WERE RARE THEY WOULD NOT BE SO COMMON AND IT WOULD BE FINE BUT THEY ARNT FFING RARE AT ALL.
-
Play killer and reach at least rank 6, then you can make threads regarding stuff like this
-
what if they made it just much easier to pip and award full points for doing well even though everyone escaped? would you be ok with that?
-
Its almost like the chase music is part of the balance meant to give survivors a chance to escape.......

I just want to say the grass always seems greener on the other side.
Well im on both sides of the grass.. I play both games, one company can and does turn around massive amounts of content and fixes what is broken in mere weaks in an overall much larger and complex game, and the other....does nothing in 99% of the cases.
-
Why do you think it was changed....
-
Jeez you had me believing the devs actually did something..... gave me hope >:L

-
Dead by Daylight has 142 achievements worth 2600 points. View all the achievements here
does not seem to be in there, weird.
-
For similair reasons I find Killer just way more unfun, as survivor you lead where the chase goes, you look for the pallets etc, as killer you just go after them and think "yay a pallet, break, yay this Twall guess I have to left around, a window, a pallet, where are we going next? the cowtree yay...and now what? oh an infinite, ok, other survivor"
its just so..... repetative and cheap feeling idk.

FYI I'm into Warframe too and that community is not happy with their dev either. Prime example: newest event is a buggy mess and is already partially built on a flawed game mode/system based around space ships (railjacks). They've had more than their fair share of moments upsetting their community involving even strictly community-based things (like the chat moderators) so I just wanted to say all that to bring up the point that, they're far from perfect as well.
there is a difference here, first of all the new event was brought out recently in a bit of a more difficult time to work on the game and secondly it got a lot of patches aka support already since then.
Railjack was released too early but that was also to give the players something new and fresh todo while the team went on vacation.
I agree that Railjack is nowhere near it should be and that the devs have their own problems, mainly never seemingly properly following through with a big update to make it what we all want it to be and rather just jumping to the next big update.
But that is a very different problem from the devs here who do seemingly abso-freaking-lutely nothing, it takes them 10 million years to adress one perk while it should take them an afternoon and a PTB....
-
imagine the mobile team actually being dedicated to the game and making it way better then the console/pc version

Why wouldnt you be ready to simply turn around once an unhook happens?
Unless you're already in a chase, it'd be logicql to go where you KNOW there are 2 sirvivors.
Like I said, it is effective, its just very cheap towards the person who just got unhooked to do so, to be at their throat moments they unhooked for an ez down and re-hook.
I know as a survivor I dont appreciate that sort of gameplay, makes me wonder why the killer plays the game at all if they are going to play that way, same as a basement bubba really.

I meant sending a mean message is dumb since he's calling them toxic i can assume hes not just chatting about the game he probably just sent gg ez or called them noobs. sending a message about the game or anything is fine i worded it wrong thats my fault. And i care that he revealed the names cause i don't want him to get banned or something. Whats wrong with telling someone if they violated a rule?
Well idk about here but on the Steam forums for example "backseat moderating" is also against the rules.
But he wont be banned over something like this, a mod will just remove the image and close the thread with a warning to OP, thats all.

I see zero issue with preventing an unhooking if you see it coming, despite the vitriol that fills my inbox when I do so. If you run toward a hook in plain view and expect me not to chase, then please don't blame me for getting downed yourself.
Again, you as well are now creating scenarios in which its logical to prevent it, that is not what im talking about.
Im talking pretty much about tunneling, returning to the hook where you can easily down the wounded survivor, and probably even wound another who is taking a hit for them, so you can easily muscle 1 survivor out quickly and then proceed to do the same to the rest.
Its effective to be sure.
-
Im happy to see your only problem is technical issues, im currently disgusted by killer player behavior.

@[Deleted User] said:
I think the biggest problem on the survivor's side, is that many, MANY survivors quite literally expect the killer to ignore them when they just got unhooked.
Like, no. If a survivor I just hooked gets unhooked not even 15 seconds later, and I come back, and they are boldly healing right under the hook out of position despite knowing I barely just left the hook in the first place, then yes, I am going to slap that injured survivor's ass back down and then I'm going to chase the other survivor off. Once I know DS isn't going to be an issue, I'm going to put that survivor's butt right back on the hook.
Survivors save people from hooks like, literally 5~10 seconds after the survivor just got hooked, and the try to heal under the hook so often. And then they ######### about being tunneled because they quite literally expect the killer to ignore them because it would be "tunneling" otherwise which I think shows just how little respect survivors give killers now-a-days. The killer is feared so little and is expected to play so nice, that many survivors make obtuse decisions and are catered by most killers either playing nice, or are even forced to play nice a lot of the time, like in the instance of DS, rather than actually being properly punished for said obtuse decisions.
I know the above scenario doesn't happen all the time, but seriously, the amount of times I'll hook someone, walk away, the survivor gets unhooked not even 10 seconds later, and I come back because again, I am only like, 40 meters away from the hook only to find the survivor being healed right under the hook and they don't even begin running until I'm like 16 meters away from them even on a 32 meter radius killer, absolutely and utterly blows my mind.
obviously, but im not talking about that, im not talking about instand saves, that is just disrespectful and stupid and should be punished.
Im talking about faking going away but being ready to return on a moments notice, or dropping a chase with an injured survivor just to go back to the hook.
That is what im talking about, highly effective at giving you that 4k, but I wont do that myself which I guess is part of why I dont get that many kills.

Come on why gotta bring my name into this🙃. And yea im a tad rattled cause messaging someone post game is kinda sad. Tunneling someone cause they clicked is fine but post game messaging is just dumb unless your saying gg. And he didnt block out the names which if i remember correctly you have to do that
If sending a message of any kind other then to say "gg" is dumb, then thinking about the game at all is dumb as well.
What would be wrong with asking people what was up with the behavior? or asking why something went right or wrong? or asking how they did something?
Also yeah its agains the rules but you are not a mod, why do you care of names of these players are revealed or not?
-
Its not a lack of funding I can tell you that with certainty, its a lack of willing to invest, hire more and competent people to work on the game for example.
Nope, ez cashgrab so far, minimal effort = maximum profit.
Look at Warframe, another Canadian game, look at how much (free) content they push out and how many patches based on user feedback....then look at dbd, the contrast is indeed shocking.
Dont get me wrong, I still like DBD very much but its extremely painful how people come to these forums with ideas and requests every time and so little of it ever gets answered or even...tried in ya know, the freaking PTB
-
It wont affect it at all and it looks like crap sadly.
-

My honest opinion is the reason why people think GhostFace is good at all is because he's broken as hell and his power is so buggy that it actually makes him a somewhat viable killer. If his power was 100% functional he would be terrible. The time it takes for his power to recharge is way too long, it only becomes acceptable with two of his best cooldown add-ons.
I dont agree, I think his power recharge time is fine stock, I never run add ons on any killer

I'm from EU too but I played on data 1 match when I lost my internet connection and I had the same bs hits like i fail but 1 second later its registred as a hit. In my case I have limited data but some people have unlimited and they can abuse the system like some bubbas in the fog.
Well you should check out the devstreams before accusing people of doing something to cause lag on purpose.
This has everything to do with the dedicated servers, the devs dedicated an entire devstream about this issue and are working on a fix for it, know that if you got hit, you got hit, you simply did not see how far the killer actually was from you due to lag and hte server favors the killer for hit registering.

Where are you from? cause I'm not so lucky my statistics to be fair 60% playable and 40% partial lag
EU
Apart from that, it goes preeetty far to experience some lag and claim the killer is abusing VPN or Mobile Data...
