Crutch Hard in the mud. You love to see it.

Pfft.. that was only added so they can make and keep overpowered boons and just point at that perk when people complain.
Yeah it was definitely a cop out.
Killers shouldn't have to use 1/4th of their perk slots to counter 1/16th of the survivors overall perk slots because a single COH. Even then, you have to snuff out the boon a minimum of 5 times to completely get rid of it. A complete joke.

Basic M1 Killers will always be weak. That's a design issue that has existed since the game was released and will never be fixed.
Also, Coup de Grace exists for M1 Killers determined to counter a nerfed Dead Head without invincibility frames.
Coup de Grace doesn't counter DH at all, it especially doesn't counter the buff in the original post. Even slightly decent survivors time the dead hard to end where the vault/pallet is and then mash the action button. Coup isnt catching anything.
-
That DH change is such an insane buff, its not even funny. I think you missed the point of what makes the perk so strong.
-
Unbreakable and Dead Mans Switch. I feel like I see DMS all the time and it's just extremely obnoxious in solo queue. Unbreakable isn't that bad, but I feel you should be recovering slower instead of faster for how impactful even a single use of the perk can be.
-
No. This failed miserably with the killer boon breaking perk.
-
Fearmonger is about to be really good. Forcing survivors to leave gens early and preventing them from greeding gens is going to be really good.
I don't really use exhaustions much anymore besides BL every now and then so I'm good, but this is going to be a rough transition for some people.

The nerf Sprint Burst threads have already started. My prediction was true.
Have they? I've yet to see even one.

Eh, the other exhaustion perks are still useful against Nurses. Blight is going to be a much bigger issue on that front.
With Blight losing hug tech soon, I don't think he will be that bad anymore.

Whats the alternative? I mean...at the rate survivors whine you could just not play against a human opponent and just play a gen repair sim with no opponent. Cause I mean...it seems like that from all these forum posts a lot of survivors have this weird greed complex where if it isn't a complete stomp by them then its not fun playing. And before you say "well killer players" You outnumber us 1000 to 1....and the ratio of us online to survivors online short of a new chapter release is abysmal. You're complaining about the equivalent of 1 guy while the rest of us "Fair" players have largely packed up and left.
The alternative is to not bring an ebony mori and to bring a flan to participate. Didn't think that was too hard to grasp.
-
jesus, why do killers play like that during an event? That Spirit deserved what she got.
-
After seeing how killers have been acting this event, I have no sympathy.
-
They should just disable moris, map offerings, and non event items. Would be much more fun.
-
Something will probably power creep to its spot, but I doubt it will be as unhealthy as Dead Hard. Even an ex Dev referred to it as just "BS". Now Dead Hard survivors will have to learn how to actually loop now.
Sprint Burst is strong, but it's nowhere near as strong as DH. You can just run away early with DH and keep the advantages of both. Balanced Landing will probably be used more than Overcome tho, you don't have to get hit for it and you can turn normally bad spots into extremely safe spots. Been using it for years and I love it.
-
Yeah I don't understand people who don't use them at all for the anniversary when they would get a overall increase of cakes if they participated. "Yeah ill wait until months from now when I'm the only one who uses one and get little value from it."
-
It would help, but that wouldn't be tackling what makes those killers bad. The exhaustion perk nerf in the summer will definitely help out M1 killers in a good way.
-
Why do people still ask this question? This would kill the game. This isn't even an opinion, it's fact.
-
Second Wind. Paired with We'll Make It and Sprint Burst, it comes in clutch quite often.
-
This has to be bait. I can't comprehend someone actually thinking like this unironically.
-
He's just immersing in the Leatherface lore accurate experience, bro.
-
They would have to completely rework Bubbas entire power in order to change this. His current kit makes him unstoppable in regards to camping.
-
There should be no debuff symbol and no delay for activation. Even with all of that, it will be B/low A tier. It would be godly on Legion tho

They've gone out of their way to change add-ons that mess with Exhaustion in any way for like two years now.
A suspicious mind might think it's a ploy to protect DH and the like. If you have a suspicious mind...
Yeah they're extremely protective over exhaustion perks for some reason. The fact that blood echo, a pretty garbage perk, even has a cooldown speaks volumes.
That's why I'm not holding out hope for an actually substantial DH nerf this summer.
-
@TheArbiter said:
Ehhhh idk, then what would be the point of a perk like blood echo existing? Trust me i agree he needs a buff but not in that way
Plague negates healing with her power and makes a lot of healing perks, on both sides, almost useless

If you thought you were funny or making an interesting point on a thread about someone DCing for being farmed, just to insult a POC character twice, let me tell you that you were wrong, and please, we don't need more like these
How is them being a POC relevant? We really out here grasping at straws to be mad?

such random killers to hate.
Both are extremely unfun to go up against
-
That's why this game should never remove DC penalty. This community can't handle something like that and not completely abuse it. Heck, I'd abuse it like crazy if I ever go against a Pinhead or Nemesis.

Your mistake because you swung and didn’t wait it out.
"just wait it out"
We still trying to make this a valid argument into year 6?
-
Its just your average low self esteem gamers trying to find something in their life that gives them power. Typical online gaming.
-
Exhaustion perks. Just boring to go up against.

While that is true, you have to compare the power between the two and how that power is gained.
NOED is gained from having at least one totem up by end game, pretty easy to activate.
Dead Hard is gained from simply being injured, pretty easy to activate.
Both are crutches that are too easy to activate. Both reward and coverup bad gameplay, which is why both of them are getting nerfed.
-
@Sluzzy said:

It is true. All you have to do is wait a couple of seconds if you are scared of dead hard. If they dodged a hit that is what the perk is supposed to do.
With NOED, you are instantly downed with no warning. A huge benefit for the killer after losing when the game is already killer sided.
If you got insta downed with NOED that's what the perk is supposed to do.
See how that works?
-
@Sluzzy said:
Dead hard is nowhere close to NOED. Dead hard can be baited out. NOED can't be baited.
You HAVE to be trolling. There's absolutely no way people still unironically go with the "bait it out".
-
Getting the Legion 5 hit down in the very beginning of the game. Just insane pressure right out of the gate and people usually DC now so its even more satisfying.
-
Absolutely I'm dodging that lobby. I turned off cross play a long time ago. I couldn't stand all the Urban Evasion and Self Care in corners.

To an extent, yeah. COH didn’t need to go through this many changes, it went through 3 if you include the PTB change, and DS is still viable but the nerf it got was pretty hard core in my opinion.
The DS nerf was completely justified. You shouldn't be able to sit on a gen with for free then jump into a locker when the killer gets close. DS as it is now is mostly fine.
-
Okay you can't just sit here and pretend that CoH was fine. Even now after all the changes, its game changing.
-
Parasyte chapter. It was one of the options for a survey on what should come in the future so that has awaken some hope in me for it
-
Parasyte.
That series would fit perfectly for an actual chapter. Gotou as a killer would be extremely terrifying.

One of the killers literally said ez post game
Sheesh, that just screams "low self esteem".
-
We'll Make It. I know this perk was more popular back in the day and that CoH killed it, but I still believe it's much better in a lot of situations. You can heal someone right off hook and run through and heal your entire team. It's especially good since the Legion play rate is so high nowadays.
Although it absolutely frustrates me when I try to heal someone after I unhook them and they decide to run to the other side of the map where the boon and killer are. Like, you can see I have We'll Make It, why are you running?? :(

You realize his tentacle is harder to hit then a shred........right ?
His anti loop is fine and just that...Anti loop. Everything you're mentioning is things huntress does....Is she unfun too ?
The tentacle has a shorter wind up, can be put away quicker, can hit over pallets, has a lingering hotbox, can break pallets and gain more distance since he walks forward, and has much less of a punishment of missing than Shred. Which one sounds better?
And Huntress is slower and cant just put away her power while maintaining her 115 speed. You can continue to run through the pallet and keep looping and she cant just walk through and M1 like Nemesis can. They are completely different.
-
How is killing the last survivor "bullying"? Its literally the entire point of the role
-
@Dead_Harder said:
What? Do people actually consider Nemesis good?
I feel bad for the guy, whips are basically 3rd health states and unlike DH, this gives survivor a speed boost.
Even if you infect some one they can go pick up an item to undo that and next time you see them, they will again have 3 health states.
Your power starts out pretty weak and if you are against decent survivors by the time you unlock your 3rd tier its probably close to end game.
Crouching behind basically the smallest object renders you immune to his tentacle.
Tentacle not being able to injure a survivor when its breaking a pallet is hilarious. You get amazing moments like hitting a survivor vaulting a pallet and the tentacle i guess going through them to break the pallet instead.
Its an annoying to play killer. I would like to see him reworked so he either doesnt start at tier 1 or his infection cant be removed at all.
IMO he is just a noob stomper.
I don't think he's "good", I just think he's a horribly designed killer. He's very similar to launch Legion. You can still win against the killer pretty easily, but it was boring because the chase didn't matter because eventually you're going to go down and the chase wont be very engaging because old frenzy ignored player skill.
Crouching behind loops can dodge the hit, but Nemesis can just hold his whip and keep walking alongside the loop, you eventually have to get up to run or else he'll catch up. It hardly does anything against a Nemesis that actually knows what he's doing.
I'd agree about the item countering him and giving constant 3rd health states if there were more than 4 of them to share with the whole team.
-
@Xendritch said:
Nemesis is probably next to Demo as far as fair and balanced killers go, yes Nemesis is good at loops and that's his thing but you have an extra health state he has to build up his power and the zombies stare at walls half the game.
If you're struggling against Nemesis that's a you thing tbh.
What is fair about anything I mentioned about his anti-loop? Demo at least needs to be somewhat precise on his shreds and he gets punished pretty hard for missing a shred.
The extra health state hardly matters when all the vaccines are gone in the first two minutes and even with the 3rd health state, he closes in hits so fast that it hardly matters. I can run a killer for awhile if I'm able to actually use my experience in the game and use proper mind games and positioning, but Nemesis just pulls out his whip at pallets and vaults and suddenly nothing matters. Its just like DH, it ignores player skill and mindless.
-
Good. Leave that old version in the mud. Horrible to play for both sides.
-
Crutch Hard in the mud. We love to see it.
-
A DH nerf would be absolutely amazing. I know so many people who would come back to the game. It would do wonders for the games health.

But it's not. It's clearly a you problem, game has been like this since launch and killer rates have always been sky high, the issue isn't that it's broken or overpowered, the issue is you want your matches even easier, being able to finally be an omegablink Nurse without a single counter.
Ah yes, I'm the only person who views DH as a problematic perk. You got me, bro. Also I was always under the impression that I have never touched Nurse in my entire life, looks like I was wrong.
