I haven't seen facecampers above rank 15. What rank these killers? Maybe you should change your tactic to gen jockey until you get to higher ranks where killers doesn't play like this?
Literally ALL ranks play like this. I got facecamped for 2 minutes straight by a rank 1 Huntress today. She even held her hatchet up the whole 2 minutes.

Behaviour: I have brought new killers, survivors, cosmetics, and tomes to my new game.
Players: Your new game?
Behaviour: Don't make me ban you.
Players: Behaviour, my allegiance is to the frames, to console!
Behaviour: If you are not consuming, then you are my enemy.
Players: Only a Dev deals in absolutes. I will do what I must.
Behaviour: You will buy.
Hahaha your memes just keep getting better and better. I totally heard Anakin's voice while reading this. Particularly the "don't make me ban you" line 😂

No such thing as one strongest build as the efficiency of every build depends on what killer+build you verse and how said killer is played.
-
That nickname tho! What does that perk do?
-
My experience has been AWESOME today. Not even one single bs hit so far. People complaining about weird hits possibly have bad internet themselves and are trying to blame the hit validation. Just a theory based on my own first impressions. I had many close calls and nothing connected through windows or pallets.
I also versed a Huntress and MANY hatchets missed me literally by a few inches without connecting even though hatchets used to throw fridges at me. As I said those are just first impressions and maybe I just got lucky today (played about 10 survivor games).
-
Not sure what the fuzz is about but always keep in mind your opinion on things is just as valid as anyone else's opinion.
-
Do you always complain when something doesn't go your way? Killers are allowed to use whatever perks they want and they are allowed to wait out ds all they want.

I honestly never thought about how good Territorial Imperative would be on Demo. Clever.
I think Otz made a build like this a while ago using Territorial and Make Your Choice which worked out quite well with Demogorgon.
-
The streamer was down regardless of the bodyblock. New Bubba can chainsaw all across the galaxy so this 1 sec bodyblock really made no difference.
-
I think Borrowed Time currently allows survivors to get up if you hit them while they're trapped.
-
Honestly I'm glad I can not see the post game chat. I can only imagine how often people insult me for... playing the game.
-
Can you even drop the pallet or does the rock prevent it? Also if you can drop it do you glitch inside the rock when you vault the pallet?

You're referring to that contest winner skin right? I would be surprised if they added the skin without the thong just because it's a sexual aspect when we literally have half naked David King in the game.

I mean even if you get rolled you can at least yeet off of every hill and building whenever you're in need of some fun. I wonder what's the best yeet location in the game for Demodoggo.
I wish thompson house had a drop down spot on the balcony. Would be hilarious to see Demo fly all over the map.
-
So you escaped against a noob Huntress? Good job. Let's be real. If a competent Huntress played with this build (Umbra comes to mind) no one would ever escape.
-
Personally I've never used it and probably never will because slowdown perks don't contribute to interesting gameplay. They just prolong the match artifically which is boring for me. I prefer perks that have an "omg the killer runs XYZ perk!"-effect.
That being said I still usually run 1 slowdown perk as gen speed is... Well... Way too quick at times but it's never been Pop Goes The Weasel so far.

The same counterplay to old legion applies to Deathslinger - stealth, rush gens and hope, because there's nothing you can do in a chase. Like it or not, just like Nurse, you cannot defend yourself against a decent Slinger.
And yes, I see plenty of people giving false counterplay that never works against even me, and I'm barely an acceptable Slinger. So..... Yeah.
You're exaggerating if you actually compare Deathslinger to Nurse or old Legion in terms of counterplay.
Nurse ignores pallets, windows, distance, structures - basically everything in the game.
Old Legion could miss a million hits with no penalty and still down you in one Frenzy hit by looking at the ground while following you.
Deathslinger can't down you using his power if you:
- drop a pallet
- break line of sight
- are out of gun range
- manage to position yourself behind objects not allowing him to reel you in

I’m hoping it gets implemented soon because this is one of my most anticipated features... I’m tired of killers with bad ping getting free wins because they can hit you from across a football field
Especially when it's a Huntress throwing fridges.

Wait... You M1 as Bubba?
-
I noticed a wild increase in tunneling killers as well. Started running Decisive for the very first time in all my years of playing DBD. I get to use it nearly every match, too as killers even drop chases to run back to the hook the second you get unhooked. It is how it is.
However the other 3 perks are basically your choice.
Been toying around with random stuff like Streetwise and This is not happening combined with medkit addons that increase progress for hitting great skillchecks which is basically like a mini version of Autodidact except it also works on yourself unlike real Autodidact.
-
The devs need to change camping mechanically if they really want to get rid of it. I just got facecamped by an infinite tier 3 Myers so changing Bubba wouldn't do anything to solve the camping issue since there's plenty alternatives.

I think a perfect game should last around 10 min more or less take it or leave it.
That is the reason why people hate forever builds because if it lasts way too long there won't be any more pallets etc.
Agreed. Around 10+/- minutes is what I usually consider enjoyable.
-
Yesterday I got farmed by a Blendette without borrowed time so I just gave up and waved at the killer who didn't even have enough time to leave the hook as in "ok go on then - kill me". Killer straight up ran past me and went after the Claudette even though it was only 1 gen left.
What a legend.

Yeah I read...you're suggesting that solos are extremely disadvantaged compared to swf. Am I wrong?
Yes, you are wrong.
I was suggesting that survivors are in a good spot in terms of balance (as op asked for survivor buffs) although it may seem like they're not if they're not pulling their weights individually.
That's the only point I was making. I didn't say anything about SWF. I suppose you jumped the gun as I said "solo survivor" even though that part was without any context making it a trivial remark.

The solo swf gap is small. It might seem like you're always being the big brain hero in your solo games, but the truth is everyone's trying just as hard as you and you're not doing much better than your teammates, if at all.
Reading comprehension 0%
-
The only buff survivors need is called "useful teammates". It is ridiculously easy to run most killers around the map even while injured but how is it going to help you when you get downed after 2 minutes realizing everyone's been holding that powerful crouch button sitting in a corner the whole time?
Been playing nothing but survivor games for a week now and I'm honestly shocked just how EASY and IMPOSSIBLE solo survivor is.
If everyone pushes gens and loops I will sometimes escape without even getting chased by the killer during the match.
If everyone is immersed I basically end up looping the killer, fixing at least 3 gens on my own and still dying afterwards.
It's honestly ridiculous how different the game is depending on your teammates.
-
Thana affects gen progress which is necessary to escape. Desperate Measure primarily affects healing which is not necessary to escape.
Always be thankful for healing perks. They may actually motivate people to heal instead of doing gens while injured.

Cage auras got removed for the killer to decrease Pyramid Head's tunnel potential.

I asked op a normal question. Nothing edgy or snide about that. On top of that op replied they are in fact relatively new so I spent my time posting a polite and detailed comment on how to play against Bubba.
Are you having a bad day or something?
EDIT: Also why are you bringing up Spirit?

Have been playing for like 5 months. I was at red ranks for about a month. I've only had like 2 problems with spirit and it was just because the people are campers or tunnelers
I see that's relatively new considering we've got 20 killers at this moment and the 21st killer is around the corner so you probably have yet to practice going against certain powers including instadown powers. Bubba used to be considered the weakest killer in the game as his instadown was basically non-existent as long as you hugged walls well enough as his default range was very lousy and his default speed forced him to rev it up while basically rubbing the survivor.
With addons old Bubba moved slightly faster than new Bubba. However new Bubba got more chainsaw range IF he's got all 3 charges (which is a new Bubba mechanic).
So basically you can still loop pallets if he's either not at full charges (if he bumps into something he loses all charges to name a sample) or if you have some distance after passing the pallet.
If you have some distance you can at least loop once before you have to drop the pallet (if the Bubba can time his charges that is and knows how to hug the loop without bumping into corners that is! Many Bubbas mess up the timing and thus don't get his maximum range or straight up bump into something when things get hectic).
On top of that he still gets hard countered by windows. Many Bubbas run Bamboozle to make up for that weakness so if you hop through a window look behind you.
Most Bamboozle players make it very obvious by looking straight at the window as well so if it's a Bamboozle player just keep running. You usually gain enough distance to reach the next pallet or window.
An underrated perk I'm going to recommend is Windows of Opportunity. It basically tells you where to go. I've been running it on rank 1 ever since the Clown/Kate chapter. It also helps you avoid dead zones created by other players.

But if I see that no one gets trapped for the whole Match I would assume that he is not using Traps. Imean, Survivors still play normal against me, using loops, windows etc.
I just don't get it xD. What's the point of using a Power if you basically win for free without a Power and without Perks. That's some science I can't explain.
OhTofu managed to 4k as Burger King Myers the other day so I suppose it takes more than just science to understand some DBD results! One of them even complained about camping in the post game chat like he was supposed to go for a 12 hook match while moving considerably slower than survivors.
DBD and its community is is one giant mysterious enigma!
-
I mean... Trapless Trapper still traps your mind trapping you into the trapping believe there might be a trap around every corner resulting in suboptimal routing since a Trapper's traps trap survivors so they are... Trapped!
Long story short: Trapper nerf when?
-
I guess one of the killer's perks will affect the terror radius.
-
@RakimSockem said:
Stealthing is not an issue until you go overboard with it and don't help the team because you're too busy trying not to be seen.
On a side note excessive stealthing forces the killer to go after the same survivors multiple times as the killer literally has no other target if someone stealthes around all game.
Everyone has to pull their weights (including chases).
-
You're saying stealthing around is part of the game but so is getting "mercilessly tunneled" so I don't get your point.

Doing gens is the only objective, sorry but doing "side" objectives do not offer anything towards a match(unless there's a hex or you want an item but there's an option of bringing your own) and are hardly important. Healing is a waste as being injured does not affect any action and, therefore people would rather place those 16 seconds on gens to escape(resilience exist).
What needs to implemented is to have down sides and buffs in-game to encourage people to do secondary objetives. Maybe an increase healing speed per totems, slower progression while Injured etc..
Hopefully when the early game mechanical is implemented, things can start to change in game
Sounds like an interesting perk idea to be honest.
"cleansing a totem increases your action speed for ALL in-game actions including vaulting speed and repair speed efficiency by X-% for 60/70/80 seconds"
Would be a versatile perk as you could use it to cleanse a totem before going into a chase or before pumping out a gen so it's good for different tasks.

I don't know for how long you have been playing the game but gen rushing is a thing.
Today, High ranks only do gens, sure it's their objective but they don't waste time to do other things (healing, totems, chests). They jsut do gens no matter what.
And why ? Because killers cried so much for 3 years that now they have got so much buff and survivors have went through so many nerf that it's impossible to do side "quests" anymore if you want to go out.
2 years ago, we had time to do everything on the map.
All this is the consequence of developpers listening too much dumb players and being incompetent to balance their game.
So you actively ignore the fact that things on BOTH sides got nerfed/buffed? The Ruin change was possibly the most impactful gen related change yet here you are acting like survivors had it bad right now.
There is EASILY enough time to break all totems, plunder all chests and finish all gens unless the team consists of bad survivors who can't loop/juke/mindgame.
I literally did it yesterday against a Myers. I cleansed every totem I could find, plundered all the chests and it was still a fairly easy 4 man escape. SOLO Q BY THE WAY.
I didn't even get chased that match because the other 3 survivors looped him and did most of the gens. So basically 3 strong survivors can beat a killer on their own yet there's FOUR survivors every game.
I genuinely don't understand how some survivors can even struggle doing ONLY gens when it takes literally just 80 seconds to finish a gen by default.

Im not talking about fourm bans, im talking about they were banned from the game. How they gunna make forum posts while banned in the forum? They weren't banned because they slugged someone, they were banned because they were greifing, and they utilized slugging to do so. For example, the devs explicitly state that bodyblocking the last person in the basement and not letting them leave nor killing them is considered taking the game hostage. This is one of their three examples for taking the game hostage. But if you looked only at the image you attached it wouldn't count. The issue here is clear intent. Idk why but you insist on being intentionally obtuse but im guessing its because people in your life do the same to you, its tedious to deal with and childish, grow up. You also never asked how long i've been playing, you made assumptions. I've been involved in the game for 6 months, but been playing for two. Surprised i stayed in this long with people like you though, the absolute dregs of the worst, behaving like someone who was bullied in HS so uses forums as an adult to feel they are regaining control.
Slugging isn't the same as blocking someone in place infinitely (which doesn't even work with the basement anymore due to dynamic hitboxes).
If you are slugged you bleed out and die. It doesn't matter why the killer does it. You will die after 4 minutes (if your teammates don't save you OR if you don't run anti-slug perks that is) so it's not bannable. Simple as that.
Can't believe you take the game so seriously you even pulled the
"you must get bullied in real life if you don't play the way I want"-card.
You tell me to grow up yet you're the one crying and moaning because people don't play the way you want them to play.
So much for being childish.

Thhe problem is gen speed. It's way too easy to press m1
I mean - personally I would like a 2nd objective as holding the repair button really is boring as hell. As survivor I would like to have to cover the map looking for things that help with gen progression.
Imagine something like this: Gens take longer than they do now (let's say 100 seconds by default instead of 80) but if you gather efficiency tools (once) that are everywhere on the map it increases your own gen efficiency leading to 80 second gens / current speed.
That would slow the early game down no matter what and would allow for a less stressful experience for killers while providing a change for survivors and since those "efficiency tools" wouldn't be near gens killers wouldn't find survivors straight away so the kill rate would possibly be the same.
Remember survivors could still work on gens at the start of the match so the killer will still guard the generators straight away making it less dangerous for survivors to look for those efficiency tools.
It would definitely shake things up. That's just a quick idea.
-
The thing is if all 4 survivors load into the game doing what they are SUPPOSED to do gens will naturally pop like nothing.
You can't even blame them really since their objective just doesn't take long unless you crouch through the map doing nothing productive.
I've even started cleansing dull totems, plundering chests and even then gens will pop fairly quickly unless someone's afk or the killer is snowballing like a tournament player.
As survivor there's just nothing to do on the map.

There's 4 I could find in a quick search in these fourms alone of people being banned for upwards of two weeks for four person slugging and letting them bleed out for the greifing section of reporting. Those four are just the ones that weren't removed by mods because you cant post about bans here so there's probably quite a few more. I can see why every day there's threads with people who are afraid the games going to die though, been here two months and its just so many people like you that bully and scream and shriek at anyone who suggests anything they disagree with. It'd probably be agitating if it weren't just fundamentally sad. I am glad you learned to chill though, no rage behind those emjies at all.
Forum bans have absolutely nothing to do with slugging (or anything else done in-game for that matter).
Slugging is not bannable and I'm glad you finally admit that you're new to the game.
Here's an official list with things that are not bannable:

Devs have straight up said slugging everyone and waiting for all 4 to bleed out instead of hooking is taking the game hostage? like its not me the devs confirmed this, idk why you're so insistent on being wrong
Slugging all 4 and waiting for them to bleed out is NOT taking the game hostage as they will literally - BLEED OUT IN 4 MINUTES.
Show me where the devs literally said it's "taking the game hostage" or is it yet another thing you "don't have to prove"?
