I suggest they just revert it back to what it was when it was released but just up the timer to 60-90 seconds. Which would make deep wounds actually worth something to stress about. It works for both sides a killer can chase the time away for a guaranteed drop but on the survivors side the killer would have to waste a full minute or more for that drop. Or if the killer doesn't chase they can still mend as they do now. Just not as safe as current mend is now since running would no longer pause the timer so they cant run across map as they can now. So both sides would benefit from this change in different ways. But for anyone that complains about it promotes tunneling if a killer really wishes to chase you for that long he just wants you anyway cause even in current deep wounds killers can still chase for that down.
I am 100% dumb but if you are playing legion and DW someone why would you want to spend time chasing someone when you could turn around and now DW someone else by tracking their heart beats? If you DW one person then chased them for the full 60-90 seconds wouldn't that first of all be a long chase that ended with a possible 2 or 3 gens popped? Also wouldn't that defeat the heart beat tracker while in feral frenzy because it only works while you DW one person after another? I mean I guess you could then chase the last person you DW. Sorry I am really dumb.
I just feel like at least while playing legion if I had to chase just one person I managed to DW while in Feral Frenzy for 60 to 90 seconds would almost be just as bad. I personally like legion and do well with him already. I like the way his ability works now because it makes them waste time mending and maybe it is my luck but I tend to get potaotes who then also waste time healing after the mend.
I am not saying you are wrong at all but just saying that chasing someone that long could then cause people to complain gen times are to fast which many already complain about. Gen times with one person without a toolbox is 88 seconds so even at its lowest lets say 60 second chase waiting for DW to drop the survivor would be a problem still.

Your solution to playing an multi-player is to not treat people like people. I bet you're really popular in post-game chat. 🙄
lol I personally can't do this. I like everyone to have a good time. It is why when I play killer I either let one or two people get out. If I play survivor and the killer is not doing well I will sacrifice myself or at least let them hook me, most the time when I try though the killer won't hook me even if I am standing under the hook waving. lol I like everyone to get points and have a non-toxic game.

Boy you are gonna a field day with how fun and fair playing killer is. :p kek.
Killer is not that difficult. I have to let people go or I seem to always get a 4k game. You are talking to someone who does not think the game is that unbalanced. Yeah some games seem very one sided but other games seem fair. It is very perk dependent and killer related. If the survivors take perks OR IN A GOOD CHUNK OF MY GAMES, no perks the killer gets the easiest game of their lives. The game is not biased one way or the other because each match is different and one match can feel super OP where the next one feels like ######### happened. I guess maybe because I play both sides and have so much game time that I feel like both sides have their strengths and weakness's. Also the whole fact that each match is different. I could understand if every killer only got the same perks every match but because they can change for example I could play one match as nurse and stomp and then the next match get stomped myself. That is the fun in this game. =) It is what keeps me coming back from my breaks.

I've stayed in Rank 16 and 15 as killer and refuse to move up to Purple and Red Ranks.
I was previously Rank 1 killer for multiple months but I grew tired of the increasing bias.
I'm enjoying BP farming, hide and seek games and the occasional Red Rank survivor that slips into my brown rank games.
I thoroughly enjoy Rank 16 and 15.
I thought I enjoyed it in the lower ranks but the survivors here are almost always the same. They tend to be scared people afraid to do gens or get hit. They also seem to like to take you off the hook while the killer is riding me. lol I should give killer a chance but I am not a great killer only because I tend to kill to fast and then feel bad. lol

@Rivyn said:
Why not play killer, then? That way, you can have the full, toxic experience.
I thought about it but I make the worst killer only because I tend to let people go. I feel bad thinking I am ruining peoples experience or killing to fast. I also have the worst luck. I either get such horrible survivors that it is way to easy or such high rank survivors that I see gens pop and maybe see 2 survivors the whole game. lol
I still might give it a try though. =) Thank you.

Hi all,
I just had a match where I was playing as the Doctor and I went up against a very VERY toxic, almost downright filthy team of survivors. I could clearly tell it was a SWF group but there was no need to play that way. I managed to kill 3 of them and the 4th escaped through the hatch. After the game (more like bullying session) they sent me messages of how I'm pathetic, horrible, play a different game, etc...
I'm a level 10 killer so I've played against some salty people before, but NEVER like this. So my question is how do you, or any recommendations as to how to play against people like that in game? I NEVER camp hooks because I absolutely hate doing that, but I almost did during that game because they weren't leaving me much of a choice and I didn't know what else to do.
I am sorry this happened to you. I just hope this one game did not make you think all survivors are like this. I know when I play survivor I will let killers actually kill me if they are not doing to well. I like all players to have fun and get points. =)

I sadly know some people are never happy. The nice part is at least we get to see who is selfish or needy or greedy and demand more. I am just happy they did something WHEN THEY DIDN'T NEED TO! I guess I am just a grateful person who appreciates the small things in life. =)

Plague is an amazing killer imo especially since her recent buff.
You either cleanse, and deal with Corrupt Purge, or you stay injured.
Plague is critically underrated, and I almost never see her at all on console or PC. I see more Clown than Plague. Its like she was released and forgotten about, since there really wasnt any toxicity concerning her power on release
I love the Plaque now and even before her power up. =) The funny thing is I hated her when I first started playing the game but she has become one of my top 3 favorite killers. The other 2 being Clown and Hag.

I just don't understand these people say a majority of games the gens pop in the first 2 minutes. This has NEVER been my experience even at Rank 7 with other purple ranked people gens did not pop as fast as people are saying. In my matches with higher ranked people we typically all seemed to go for totems and waited for the killer to do a lap then get on a gen after the killer left the gens.
I wish I could experience these fast matches at least once or twice a week. I don't want easy games and actually am a person that if the killer does not get a hook will even sacrifice myself so the killer gets points so it really is not that I want easy wins but I would like a game where I can do more than focus gens and maybe get totems. =)

Why is it toxic? Its just a addon.
Also survivors also have tons of good perks/addons/items
You are right survivors have a ton of good perks but in the way of survivor addons they are just eeeh. I mean they fixed the instant heal so we now have to wait a little while at least. I mean I for one don't mind the fix but I can understand why people are upset with this not touched Iridescent Head. I mean mix that with a ebony mori and it should be a quick and easy match. I personally can not think of any perk, item, and addons that would work to this level.
Just want to remind people I do not mind any perks or addons or whatever. I enjoy the challenge because for me every match is different. I doubt I would have to deal with a combo Iridescent Head and Ebony Mori at all and if I did it may be MAYBE 1 a month. I look forward to the challenge. =)

At the game start it's very common for 1 to 2 gens to pop in the first minute or two..especially if even a mediocre chase occurs on 1 person
GOD DO I WISH! I have to say about 70-80% of my matches can go for 5 minutes and not one gen pops. I get teamed up with potatoes all the time. I normally will let the killer chase me and after 2-3 minute chase still no gens. I am not trying to be that person with a huge ego and claiming things don't get done unless I do it but this is the case. I have had MANY matches where unless I do 4 or all 5 gens they don't get done. In my games most the survivors are just hiding waiting for each other to die and hoping to find the hatch. I laugh every time because even in death I have more points then at least 2 people and in some cases the most points overall on the survivor side.

My only problem with perks being able to counter certain killers/tools are that survivors don't see what killer it is before the match. Lotta good it is to load Calm Spirit vs anything but Clown or Doc. At least killers get to see the four toolboxes and load Franklin's. Problem with that is if you let survivors see the killer, it would neuter many killers. I don't think that's the answer. The reason I state this is because I don't think perks are a solid way to counter any killer. It is a crap shoot as to what killer you get. Therefore I disregard anyone who says to load up a specific perk to counter a killer's power. That is a fail.
As for IW countering Spirit, it only counters the bad ones. I can still hear you breath, rustle through the grass, etc. I have caught many an IW-using survivors by following the sound of their moving or breathing. If I load Stridor, it is even easier. Spirit is quite powerful in the hands of anyone that knows how to use her. Unfortunately, most Spirits I've run into, or seen in vids are proxy campers who waste her abilities, similar to many Hag players. Good Spirit and Hag players are chaos incarnate and impossible to predict.
I agree with you and that is why I hate when people say things like "To counter Doc just use Calm Spirit", "Use Spine Chill for Myers". The problem is like you said. You never know the killer so you pick Calm Spirit and you get the Oni or Ghostface. The killers are right there are perks that CAN counter killers BUT you are lucky if you pick that perk and actually get the right Killer.
You are also right that we should not be able to see the killer because then a good amount of people might just pick at least one perk to counter them hard. I also do not like that killers however can see our items and pick certain things and even the survivors actually. Most killers see certain survivors like maybe Claudette and can probably assume they will be using Self Care and Empathy.
I use Spine Chill a lot and I will say it helps even against the spirit for me. It lets me know when I cannot see her but she is coming at me. It is not a perfect system but it certainly helps. It let's me know to at least get moving and not try and hide in a locker or something just for her to phase back in and make me poop myself and pimp slap me. lol
Thanks for being polite unlike many others on these forums who cannot have a conversations without name calling or pretty much just rephrasing why my opinion is dumb and why their opinion is a fact. =)

As someone who plays killer as well, i don't have an issue with keys either.
Although now that we have hatch escape challenges, having a key every second game is frustrating.
Really? I only ask because I hardly ever see a key in any of my games and if I do it is lucky if it gets used at all. lol
Heck most the time my potato....I mean teammates don't do anything but hide and unless I do gens they do not get done so the hatch does not spawn if I get killed. Then even if the hatch spawns believe me I am a moron and never find the thing. lol
I guess it is just my luck the keys don't get used much and sorry it's a problem you see often. I hope it dies down for you. =)
-
I mean I get your point but this is the same logic killers use as to why Keys are to strong. It is STILL used and possible.
I mean personally I do not care and let people use whatever because it makes each match fun.
I have to say though killers complain keys are to strong and use the 1 out of 100 game logic. They say well the CHANCE is there the KEY can be used so I guess the fact is there is still a CHANCE the survivors will get head....I mean see Ir Head. Just trying to be funny lol
I mean pointing out the killer logic that keys have a risk of being used and are OP, well Iridescent Heads can be used with Ebony Mori at some point so I guess should be removed or nerfed as well?

There is no spirit counter because you cant counter her rng-like playstyle. You go one way and she goes the other or she goes your way. Its random. Thats the point. You can't hard counter her without perks but you can greatly increase your odds of not dying if you play smartly. All the little things that people say to use is said for a reason. If you say "ohh a good spirit will still get you" well tough #########. Guess you got outplayed because she was good.
YAY I like your response to this angry spirit loving hippy. You get a upvote for this lesson in tough love! =)

But it is soooo pretty! lol JK
I have not had to deal with one yet but I guess from what I have seen and read it can be deadly.
WAAAAIT! I just read this is an add-on? Wow and mix this with Ebony mori and you have a horrible killing monster. OOOOO but keys are to strong rofl. I am kind of kidding here though because I know the rare case of both Iridescent Head and Ebony Mori being used but it sounds scary. This would be a build for a easy 4k kill.

no fun, pure frustration and stress. Gens pops left and right and i have no way of tracking from where. Gens often pop before ive even reach the gen at the back of the stage, furthest away from me.
I would rather get corona virus than be in such a situation. This is why i dont want to level up killers the proper way. it SUCKS that the meta is that you level up killers, by playing ANOTHER KILLER just to spend the BPs you get from that killer, on your new killer. you're supposed to get better at the killer by growing with him not just feed him stupid BPs to get perks. But you cant do that (technically you can) because every time you try and level up your level 1 ghostface or what ever killer, you get faced off against a fully kitted SWF group several higher ranks than yours. because this game has no chill and gives no #########.
The Match making dont give a #########. it doesnt care if im level 1 with a killer, it doesnt give a flying ######### if i have only 1 perk at the lowest possible level.
WHAT am i expected to DO in such a situation? play and "have fun" being absolutely molested? i feel like a child in a pedophiles basement, i dont have a chance what so ever. and that kind of play isnt fun.
there truly is only one way to level up killers, and that is to NOT play that killer untill hes like level 40. oh yea, how great that gameplay was.
Sorry this happens to you. I guess I am just happy to play on the one platform many consider to be garbage YET Que times are super fast and so far this stuff has not been a problem yet. So if I don't need perks to counter killers, tell me how to counter Spirit.
Listen for her whatever you call it and personally I find it useful to run at her just like the nurse or jump through a window or something. You could also just play stealth. There is many ways but in the ways of perks you can always run Spine Chill. It is useful on every killer and is a hard counter on Meyers and Ghostface and Spirit when she goes POOF! lol
You seem extra mad this morning, maybe have some coffee and then we can hug it out buddy. =)

as soon as they see Insidious they instantly think "baby noob killer"
here's what happened
I wanted to get rid of a Haddonfield offering so I decided to meme and play "house defender demodoggo"
exactly what it says on the tin, I go to a house, then defend it the whole match
instead I got sent to Autohaven by a Rank 1 (we'll get to him later)
so I plonk myself down in the house on Azarovs, and a claudette comes by, I knock em down, cause he was in my house, there was the basement there as well, so he went there
I sat outside, waiting, a few people showed up, and I chased them off
I engage in some normal gameplay for a bit, just for some points, but still stick by the house
the other 3 escape and oh boy did they have choice words
"noob killer"
"camping and tunnelling" (I got one hook that whole match, how tf did I tunnel I will never know)
"get rekt"
and other things, including "I couldn't care less" (despite him clogging up the chat"
screenshots of the whole thing are on my steam profile, if you care enough to read em
Just FYI quick you may want to blank out names or blank them out and place fake names over them so you dont get in trouble......i personally do not mind but dont want you to get flagged and in trouble =)

I'm understanding it perfectly well. What may or may not be fun for you does not mean that same applies to another person. You say it isn't fun watching somebody die, somebody else will say it is.
You cannot dictate what a player should or should not do. If a killer feels they only want one kill, and to get that they'll face camp, then they'll do it. You think Insidious Bubba's do it because it's boring? Heck no.
Technically, a killer doesn't 'win' unless they put some serious grind into a match, at least by the ranking system. So, if somebody is being face camped, just do gens and leave. By the ranking system, they lost. But then, if they're face camping, they don't care about rank.
What this person said. =) Sadly there is only two options. You can do gens or attempt to the escape but without BT or DS you are them are dead anyway. I say let the killer camp and regret it and hope you all get out and they get less then 10k points. =)
Unfortunately for me even with kindred my ENTIRE team will run over and be dumb and get slugged and the killer gets a easy win. I will never understand why it takes 3 people to get one person ESPECIALLY if that one is being camped. lol

For me the reason i hate ds is because i can hook someone and because i did not see when the other guy got unhook i can get hit by ds because the guy play like a ######### but he have a 1 minute immunity and for bt i chase you dont go for the unhook ofc i will try to hit the guy you just unhook my goal is to kill all of you and you just help me with that but because of bt i cant punish that bad play those are my personal opinion on a side note dont forget the game start when 2 gen are done for the killer it take more or less 40 second to walk accros the map in that time 2 gen can be done
Well in the case of the DS if you tunneled the guy that just got off the hook then you deserved the DS in the back. He countered your tunneling behavior just like you said to do. You could have went after the guy that got him off the hook.
I personally do not care about being camped or tunnel and do not use DS at all. I use BT just because I see camping a little to often and I get stuck with a bunch of potatoes who will pick team members off the hook in front of the killer. I try to get there first to give them a fighting chance.
I will point out though you did just say how you did not see the person get unhooked so you cannot guess when the timer for DS went off. Well here is a tip then instead of tunneling him go and punish the other one for rescuing him and leave the other guy to go and waste time healing. You can be mad 100% people use DS but you did just say camping and tunneling are strategies and there are ways to counter them. Well they are using the ways and you are mad. What do you want them to do to deal with camping or tunneling then instead of DS or BT?
I will say the ONLY time I ever go for the rescue with BT is if I see the killer camping. Also BT only works if the killer is close anyway. It is a counter to camping killers. If you are camping then you are not applying pressure to the map.
You just said to deal with both camping and tunneling because it is legit well then accept DS and BT because they too are legit.
I am sorry and really am not trying to be rude or anything but this is personally why I do not tunnel is because I always expect DS and BT so I don't camp either. Then that way they really do not get to use either. I can normally get at least 2 kills per game.
Also I am sorry and both happy you get games where people do gens. I no joke 90% of the time get potatoes but I play ONLY Solo Que and my team spends 90% hiding and maybe 10% trying while I do gens so the matches take FOREVER! lol

Prologue
Welcome to the thread series where I make changes to a few perks and see how much spotlight they get from the community. 😁
Here's my previous thread: Give it a look and comment if you'd like! 😊
No Mither
Staying injured gives you incredible strength:
- 60 Seconds: Grunts of Pain caused by injuries are silenced.
- 90 Seconds: You won't leave trails of blood.
- 120 Seconds: Survivors, including yourself, can heal you 50%/75%/100% faster than normal.
Dying State
Recovering is an automatic action when you are motionless.
If you can fully recover with Unbreakable, press the active ability button while at maximum recovery progress to transition to the injured state.
Monstrous Sacrifice
After hooking a survivor, the Entity blocks the hooked survivor for 20/25/30 seconds. During that time, the hooked survivor's sacrifice timer remains paused and cannot be saved.
Epilogue
This is the part where I ask you to give me feedback! 😁
The No Mither one would make more sense if instead of healing yourself the healing speed was for you and you could heal others faster. I mean if it was a buff for being injured why would you want to be healed then?
I would not mind stating hurt if I could heal others faster and all the extra stuff.

none of them would fulfill it. where talking about characters who can fall from massive heights and take no damage, can get stabbed about 30 times a game , who are professional athletes, medics and engineers, infinite blood so they rarely bleed out, make killers look like sissies, a built in killer-radar, can see from the back of their heads and all around without moving their heads or turning around, and can un-impale themselves from hooks.
these characters are so broken that they'd break any movie theyre in and the audience would call BS and shame the killer. they're better off just staying in survivor by daylight as video game characters.

Tbh i'm thinking they just don't take the game seriously anymore, i kinda sympathize and understand why most do this, the game is unbalance with countless bugs and with the ranking system+matchmaking and lobby simulator etc. Sad that the game has to come to this for the community (maybe the devs) to voiced out and so something eventually
The game is unbalanced though every match. I have had games where the killer stomped us because he was rank like 4 and the highest rank survivor we had was maybe 12. I personally do not think perks make or break the game but skill level really matters. I really do not think the game is balanced on one side more than another. I know and hear the arguments but EVERY match is different.
I know the whole idea of how perks CAN be abused but this is not how it happens every match. I mean heck I had one match where I was the only survivor who even had perks. lol I am not even kidding and I was shocked like ######### everyone can equip at least 1 perk but nope they didn't.
After all the games I have played I cannot understand camping or tunneling because I am a horrible.....HORRIBLE killer and even with the legion which most call the worst killer I can normally kill at least 2 survivors WITHOUT tunneling or camping. I have over 1000k hours so far.
I do think you should play however you want that makes it fun for you but do not be mad if you get yelled at or people get mad. Also if people start bringing things to counter camping and tunneling then accept that as well.
I do feel bad for killers if I see they have not got one hook after the third gen and will let them hook me because I do want everyone to have fun so I am not trying to be mean about camping but the only way to learn is to try. The best way to learn is to make mistakes and learn why something did not work and change it. =)

This is how i became a killer main but i still have to do archives for survivor plus camping is not a strategy it requires no thinking just if someone comes to close ill chainsaw you but thank you for understanding
I agree it is not a strategy and it is the most brainless toxic thing to do. Why waste time waiting for a que time as a killer only to camp one survivor and get such little points?
Then these people who camp and tunnel run to these forums and start crying when people are using DS or BT. Well maybe if people did not camp we would not need to use BT or DS to save that one person from dying on hook.
I no joke had a game where a killer face camped and it costed him the game. He camped one person while we did 3 gens. I ran up used BT and she got away. Well then he put me on the hook and I had kindred letting my survivor people know the killer was smacking me and they finished the last two gens. They open the gate and BT me and I was out. I mean as a killer he got less points then everyone and it made me feel bad but that was on him.
I normally feel bad for new killers and will even let them kill me or whatever but I will not reward that camping or tunnel mind set.

Because they want to kill you and they choose this strat and they are not responsable for the wait time and your enjoyment of the game. If you did not do anything then that favor the killer he got 1 survivor out only 3 to go and he just make the game turn in his favor depend on how many gen are left. You may not like the camping or tunneling strat but they are legit and you have perk to counter those strat
The problem is the perks that counter campers or tunnelers a bunch of people say are to OP. If a killer see you have DS or BT they then scream and complain on these forums about how OP it is. It is sadly a no win discussion. There is ways to stop camping and that is why I use BT to save the person on a hook and give them a chance.
I personally have nothing against camping or tunneling. If it is your thing then go for it. I like to get points personally and win chases and stuff. If camping and tunneling are strategies then they can't be mad when people use DS or BT to counter these said strategies. WELL I mean they can be mad that is their right but I guess they asked for those perks to be used.
I hope you and your family are safe during this time. =) Have a great day.

When killers camp i get angry asf because i just got caught in the first 2 mins. I barely did nothing but probably pallet stunned only 2-3 times before i get camped for no reason. The killers that camp are sometimes prestige or in purple ranks (im in purple). Its annoying because you sit on the hook for about 2 mins and have to die without playing the game that took 13 mins to get in 1 match. If i get saved they tunnel and put me back on the hook. I can understand a patrol but not a camp. The only time i camped is when i went against toxic survivors who all had ds and head on and purple flashlights when it was endgame (i still lost). I can understand if there are new killers releasing or its for archives but other than that no.
If anyone gives a good detailed explanation on how camping or tunneling is fun for both killer and survivor ill shut up.
I will be quick and honest. I agree 100% as a person that plays both sides that camping and tunneling is no fun. I personally do not see it BUT you will get people that will just be rude and toxic and say it is a strategy just get use to it. They will also say well there is perks to counter campers and that is also right.
Now here is the issue with that, these people that say that also say the perks that counter this said strategy complain the perks to counter it are to OP for survivors. They say camping is a "Strategy" and to use perks maybe like Borrowed Time and DS but then in another forum post will say DS and BT are to OP. You cannot win this discussion I have learned and I have just accepted things. =( I know when I play killer I do not tunnel or camp and if everyone gets out alive good and if not also good. It is all just for fun so no need to be that crazy person who camps and waste time to get minimal points. Just my opinion but also I guess play however makes you happy. =)
Good luck and sorry you had this experience and hope you have better luck in your other games. =)

Oh, so I need to have perks to be able to counter one certain killer? It's bullsh*t and bad game design.
lol The perks are built to counter different things. You do not NEED perks to counter killers but they certainly help. I mean I use Spine Chill Pretty much 100% and it lets me know when stealth killers and well any killer is looking at me including a spirit in phase mode. It helps me a ton so honestly every killer can be countered but some or much harder than others. Personally my most annoying killer to deal with is the Doctor.

I main survivor (trying to play more killer currently) and I'd rather just have him be a full blown stealth killer.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1172974#Comment_1172974
It's not scary it's annoying. Because hearing his terror radius means I have to waste 5 seconds of my life for him to attempt to reel me in while I don't struggle because there's no point because you have to mend either way and he doesn't get stunned like he should. Just got me to get a speed boost, skirt away, and get hit again outside his terror radius to get reeled in again, break the chain, get another speed boost, and rinse and repeat. The whole time music is abruptly cutting on and off.
Maybe because I'm seeing too many Deathslingers and I'm honestly bored of them. IDK. But I'll take a Spirit over him. She's legit terrifying and fun to play against. With Deathslinger all of them play the same and you know what you're going go to get and how things are going to go.
Yeah it sounds more like you are just bored and annoyed of him. No need to really take away his TR and I do enjoy hearing it. =)

Or maybe the point is no one is trash but the elitist pieces of ######### who try and make others feel bad for using certain perks and builds in the first place, because they feel entitled to a win?
Seriously, this entitled, toxic community viewpoint is one of the reasons the community is not very helpful for newcomers and most the time it's just asinine for veterans.
I agree with your comment and kind of the reason I am trying to avoid these forums. It is very full of know it all's and people who use their opinions as fact. If you use this perk you must be trash. I mean every perk has a use. This guy saying Spine Chill is the same as NOED. I mean how? Spine Chill is a perk used to counter Stealth Killers and just because someone uses it does not mean they are trash but maybe they like the perk. Urban Evasion is also a nice perk to be able to get around without being seen. I personally stopped using Self Care because it did eat time but I understand its use. I say use whatever makes you happy. =)
MY BEST ADVICE TO PEOPLE WHO ARE EASILY HURT. AVOID THESE FORUMS AND IF NOT THEN DON'T TAKE WHAT YOU READ ON HERE TO HEART

Interesting point, but every time there's a bad survivor i'm not suprised to see that he has Urban Evasion, Spine Chill and Self Care, i consider those perks the NOED equivalent in a survivor, and of course they're as trash as the killers that use NOED.
HEY I think every perk has a use and I for one use Spine Chill not because I am bad but because it is a good counter to Stealth people like Myers who scares the living piss out of me. What is wrong with Urban Evasion? I am not saying your opinion is wrong but how in the heck is Urban Evasion close to NOED?
I would consider Adrenaline and DS more of a survivor based equivalent of NOED. The last minute oops I made a mistake now is my chance perks.
Urban Evasion is a good way to move around while trying not to be seen and Spine Chill is a nice way to alert you of the killers presence. I mean unless you are saying the survivors that use them are trash because they should be able to loop the killer and not hide. I mean if that is the case then if you can loop the killer to the point of not wanting to chase you your skill level to the killers is way off and the game is to easy already.

I mostly play killer (a bit less nowadays), and new sabo is really not an issue. I've been able to get a few saves with it and Breakout, but it is still very situational and requires a survivor to be at the right place at the right time or spend a lot of time attempting the save.
Thanks for the feedback and yeah I figured it was more of the right time right place perk than an OP perk. Yeah sure it is strong with a SWF but so is well any perk with SWF but solo que where you have to rely on, POINT POINT or WAVE THIS WAY, that is not easy to understand enough to really coordinate anything. lol

Didn't Matthew himself say what made this game so fun was the frustrating aspect of it? A few days ago...my 4 man SWF was down to 2, my friend knew where the hatch was, I didn't and I had the key. I got hit by the Deathslinger and he chased me. I and my friend jumped through the hatch right in front of his face. I bet he was beyond frustrated...but it gave me a nice warm feeling inside to know that was probably the case. That wasn't the last time I did a 2-man escape with one of my keys either. Am I toxic...I suppose yes, not as toxic as I wish I could become. Not so good with the looping and flashlight blinding all game...but I do what I can.
Do you mind me asking as a toxic player do you mind or hate when players do to you what you do to others?
I am just asking as a question and not to say at all what you are doing is wrong. I say do what makes you happy. If you think making someone else upset in your mind when they probably don't care is fun then by all means do it. =)

Why do you consider it fun to frustrate someone else? People like you are the reason online gaming is so toxic.
Just gonna say it is a waste to try and talk sense to him and others like him with their mindset. They enjoy causing problems because they can from the comfort of their homes where people like that are safe and "Strong". They also would rather be the problem then work towards the solution. They think well if someone else does it then I should do it to. If someone else is toxic well the ONLY solution is I must be MORE toxic. The don't think to maybe do the opposite and kill them with kindness. I hate to say it but its like my parents and many others have said. If your friend jumps off a bridge would you and sadly the answer I am seeing from him and many others is a huge YES!
I instead try to be polite and to be nice to even the meanest of people. I will not let people break or change how I treat them and others and I would rather be the solution then the problem. =)

It's because of sabo's synergy with perk builds and SWF. You can run a tank build plus sabo and a toolbox and become a huge pain in the Killer's ass. It gets even worse when the Survivors are coordinating or they're all running similar builds.
So not saying you are wrong because you aren't at all but, it does seem like once again it comes down to being strong in rare or certain situations. It is OP in SWF BUT in Solo Que, which I play, it is more of a annoyance. That is if it is even used at the right time. I have learned though ANY perk with good coordinated teams and SWF can seem OP but people like me and many others that play Solo Que these perks just seem....okay. lol
Thanks for your response and I hope you and your family are staying safe. =)

Well both are good, but i just prefer Detective's hunch, Especially if Devour hope or huntress hex is in play, then it can be dealt with swiftly. Also find it helps with indoor maps like Game, with totems appearing on bottom and upper floor.
Does DH really help more with Devour Hope? I only ask because I have not tried it yet. I am just curious why this would work better then SG when it comes to active totems. I could hunt around the map and probably find the active totem while my team did gens.
I am really sorry not trying to argue at all but just trying to learn and I do actually take what people say and try it. =) We all have our ways. =)

Kinda wish hangman was back in it pre state. It was fun watching the hook respawn after it get sabo or destroy by the entity.
I just checked what Hangman is and it lets the killer know when a Hook is being broke. What was it pre state?
I am betting this has become a next to useless perk with how quick hooks spawn back now. =(
I mean it is good though that they do come back though. I personally do not use toolboxes anymore. They don't really speed gens up much anymore and the hooks respawn so fast now. I am just collecting them for now but I STILL enjoy the game and do my best. =)

Its not op by itself or solos. But can be very annoying when SWF teams go for it.
Thanks for your response. That is kind of what I think too. I mean if the devs were to rework EVERY perk abused by the RARE instances SWF abuse them then the few perks that makes Solo Que possible at times would be useless. I am one of these players who plays both sides and yes some games are worst then others but I take the win or loss and move onto the next game. =) I dislike SWF abusers even if it is rare I can still see how rude and mean it is.

Small game is more effective to find totems but DH is more reliable and gives you some extra information (chests, hooks), small game lets you locate only one totem at a time and DH from 1-3, depending on which map and perk tier you are playing with.
DH seems useful but that extra info is not always needed. I mean I can see the hooks and they scare me. lol The boxes are always in the same places, basement or near a gen. If you want to see Chest you could use Plunderer's Instinct and that would even give you a better item.
I am certainly not saying you are wrong or I am right just saying why I don't use DH BUT I will give it a try today and see how much I like it. =)
Thanks for chatting with me and giving me insight into why you use DH.

I prefer Detectives Hunch when I use Inner Strength, because it shows me directly where totems are and doesn't waste so much time to "scan" for totems. I normally try to find an easy first totem near me or my first gen if it is in sight, to activate Inner Strength, and then always "one gen, one totem" to get to 0 totems until endgame and have enough "resources" left to activate Inner Strength.
Especially on newer maps (I have NO freakin idea on new Lery's and Saloon where the totem spots are) I like Hunch to learn totem spots. Once you are familiar with them, Small Game might work better.
I use small game because not only does it work for totems but it has helped me in a pinch when I run and am like OOOOOH it's trapper or ooooh it's the hag. lol
-
@CrowVortex said:
I prefer Detective's hunch over small game, Complete a gen and it shows you usually multiple totems within like 60+ meters give or take or so. If you happen to have a map too, the totems get added to it.
The only reason I pick Small Game is because I got use to using it when Hex Ruin was in it's old state and it would take to long to finish a gen. Small Game would let me run through and find totems and hope to break Hex fast. =)
-
@Todgeweiht said:
To find totems, use detectives hunch.
If you want a real incentive to cleanse totems I would highly recommend running Inner Strenght
Can I ask why Detectives Hunch instead of Small game?
I just ask because yes DH shows aura's but after a gen is done. Small Game yes does not show the aura but I mean when it goes off you know in the very least you are like a arms length from a trap or totem, plus the CD on SG is so fast it can be used fast.
I mean yes both work but SG just seems quicker. I can see how DH is good thought because you have to do gens anyway might as well do a gen then look around for a Totem. =)

No, I’ve been a Doctor fan since I started playing in September 2017.
It’s ok, I know a lot of people didn’t like him back then but he’s actually what got me to upgrade from the free weekend to the full game. When I saw just how good the rework made him, I was ecstatic. My favorite Killer was now going to be one of the stronger ones.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1172880#Comment_1172880
She’s a pretty good patient. I don’t normally have a problem with her. She takes her treatment without many complaints for the most the part.
I am actually happy to see your response. I too liked the doctor before the rework because I felt he was still pretty strong. You are right with this rework though holy potatoes everyone seems to love him because he is a hard killer to counter.
I will say though as much as I love him and the clown I was kind of mad at the most recent update with the madness levels not decreasing anymore. I mean I love the Doctor but he was already strong enough without that addition. I use to leave his terror radius just so my madness level would decrease. At this point it is almost pointless to escape his TR other than not to be zappy zapped. lol He is still a good killer and the hag is right up there in strength. She shouldn't be but many survivors even when they see it do not learn to CRAWL over her traps.
