    That's actually terrifying...

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind having a David or Kate in my pokeball....Pocket Kate / David

Rofl that would be funny and even better if they became charms and you could collect them all. You get a charm of a see through pokeball with a terrified David and Kate. lol

SwSh- Pokemon Sword and Shield. The most recent installments on the Nintendo Switch, the largest selling of the games (and I don't do much to help cause I bought Shield & the DLC) and also some of the worst.

Let's just have Ghetsis as the killer and N as the survivor. Especially since Black/White/Black2/White2 are the best games and I'll fight this opinion to the death.

I had a good laugh on the amount of people that hated SwSh and swore they were not gonna buy it and we all knew they were gonna even if the game was not great. It happens and heck I bought it and still have not beat it because I lost interest. lol

I like your killer and survivor idea or maybe for funny factor a cute ghost type like litwick rofl

  • The pokemon was just for a laugh because I know it could and would not ever fit in this game but sure would be funny seeing a pokemon trainer killer trying to capture a pokemon who does not want to be caught. They could kill by throwing pokeballs at you. rofl

Their mori could be crushing you into a pokeball with a trainer pose like Ash does. lol

  • @GoodBoyKaru said:

Pokemon because if they make that ######### work they can do anything.

And it'll still be better than SwSh.

I feel very dumb asking but what is SwSh? I think I know but figured I would ask. I hate getting older and not knowing these terms. lol

  • If we are also considering people that just plain out camp no matter the killer I am shocked when I see a Doc who camps. No pun intended. I mean really as the doctor it is already easy enough to find survivors without the need of camping to secure a kill. It is really odd to see some of the people camping with what is to be considered an already strong killer.

I had no idea what it meant at first. A survivor just accused me of griefing and then said it was because I double trapped them so I told them to explain to me what the hell they meant by it

That makes no sense because I could be wrong but I think the Pig lady starts with 5 traps and the fact there is 5 survivors means at least 1 person may have to deal with 2 traps. It is not girefing unless maybe you are tunneling that one person just to do it but really it is just the game play. It is math. If there is 5 traps and 4 survivors someone will get double trapped and honestly just deal with it. If you play Miss Piggy then have fun and I would love to see a pig place all traps on one survivor. lol

  • @NuKeD said:

"when you down a survivor, don't you dare nodding or BMing him after he kept you for 4 gens and teabagged you for the whole chase"

I am slow and old so have to ask what is BMing?

If a killer plays spirit they are toxic

I never heard this rule but I am sure it has been said at one point are another. I would find Doctor a more toxic pick than spirit but really just picking a killer means nothing and if someone calls that particular killer toxic it is probably because they have not learned to deal with them. I say play any killer you like and just play the way you would want the killer to treat you. I know how that sounds and it is dumb but it is a good way to play.

  • @Volfawott said:

A pig is not allowed to double trap a survivor for any reason.

That one is a weird rule and I say heck with that and use all traps on one survivor lmao.....I kind of wish this would happen to me as a survivor now lol

    "Don't Tunnel"

I mean why not it is a strategy...

The reason I would suggest not tunneling is because if you instead let that one run away and go after the one that saved the hooker then you not only waste that ones time with the chase but also the one that got saved is gonna waste time trying to heal. It is a win win for you and makes it a little more fun for the survivor so they get a little more game time. I want to say though that you should play anyway you want and I am sorry if I am being rude and was just trying to make a suggestion. =)

Honestly this is how the game should be played in my mind at least. Don't do things to the other side that you know will be miserable to them. Within reason obviously.

Exactly! I do not see it as rules made by the survivors but just rules of a overall fun game for both sides. When I am killer I play with the mindset that if I get a kill cool and if not oh well I will get you next time. I feel like to many killer mains think if they do not get a 4k kill or if survivors get away the game is a bust. The game is only a loss IF you look at it that way. I have games as killer where I chase survivors and spend the entire match making them look for me and confuse them. It is fun and the survivors actually even have fun sometimes. I just feel like the rules should be whatever makes the game fun for you but also everyone else. =)

Also the survivors have to stop being so salty if they get killed. I have been killed and I take it as a lesson learned and yes some matches are worst then others. In the end both sides should have fun and try not to be toxic but I know that will never happen because like any multiplayer game people are mean because they have the protection of the internet and can be big and bad and fake tough. It takes more energy to be toxic than it does to be a nice person and just have fun. =)

  • I actually follow some of the rules because I do believe they make the game fun for all.

I follow the no camping hooks rule and if someone gets the survivor off the hook I go for the new target and let the other run. That kind of works in my favor though because most the time the one off the hook is gonna run and look to heal and waste time so getting this new healthy survivor is a good call and balance gameplay. =)

I also normally let a survivor go if they tried hard during the match. I know how annoying it can be to be the person who does more than half the gens yourself only to get killed because your teammates either wanted to hide the entire time or just flat out refused to do gens. In that case I will let the one survivor I feel has tried escape.

I also have my own rule in some games when I have killed 2 survivors and they have not popped one gen. I will hunt down the other two and make it known that they can escape. I will follow them and help them find gens and stuff and help teach new survivors by camping the gen and forcing skill checks. =)

I do agree there are MANY rules in the rule book that are just dumb but some make the game enjoyable for all ends. The biggest one I would say in the end is to at least not camp as a killer because well it is not fun for you as a killer plus you are losing many points. IT is worth them getting unhooked and gaining more points then sitting there to get the 1 kill. You will get more points by smacking and hooking survivors than if you camp this 1 survivor and the rest escape.

In the end play anyway that makes you happy though and HAPPY HUNTING! =)

Stealth is not a legitimate counter. Stealthing is how your team dies. If you don't take pressure off your team-mates or help progress the game then you aren't going to be alive for very long. If the only counter to a killer is to not get caught then that's just admitting that they are inescapable. At some point during the match you will have to take a chase if you want your team to succeed. When you unhook there's a good chance the killer will come back to pressure you. If they see you on a gen with BBQ they're going to come and pressure you. "Just hide lmao" is what rank 20s do. They hide the whole game and then their entire team dies. Believe it or not but killer isn't suppose to be a free win.

I seen this response and agree. I do not think "STEALTH" is the answer and if it was then you would get more points for never being seen. In fact you NEED to be chased and to WIN THE CHASE for points. I agree if this person thinks the best and only way to not get caught is to hide then how do you expect to ever do gens and not get found? Also getting found should not automatically be a lose and you should be able to escape a chase with a good loop or pallet. I have been playing sooooo many games recently that half the team tries this "STEALTH" approach and even when I get killed I still have more points then they do alive. It just makes the game that much harder because it becomes 1v3 because the other one is off hiding.

I agree if the only counter to any killer is to just not be seen then there is a problem because as a survivor you should have just as much chance to escape a chase as the killer has to end the chase. I will say against Spirit though I try to run and leave scratch marks in a messy unpredictable manner and then walk or crawl away. It works once in a while sometimes. lol

So I'm new to playing the game but I've been watching videos for years. I have less than 10 games under my belt, lastnight I was playing as the new killer and had just unlocked noed, I had fun even though I was getting juked like crazy lol. by the end I got two kills and the other two got away, they instantly rushed the doors open and didnt 99% them. One guy said good job but people are gonna report you and be mad at you for being toxic using Noed.. I didnt camp at all and I dont think I was being toxic in any way, so just curious if having noed is a looked at badly or was this dude just salty he got killed by a new player?

P.S. I've been loving how awesome this community has been since I started playing.

Personally no it is not toxic and a great killer learning tool. It helps new killers learn how to use other perks while having a safety net. I will say personally though I no longer use it because there are better perks. I will give a tip though and if you ever want to see a bunch of survivors squirm use NOED and Blood Warden. I do this a couple times a month and laugh as you watch the survivors run in circles at the gate not being able to get out. I still let them escape but it is fun to watch. =)

Also NOED is a nice way to slow the game by making totems a main objective as well now. It makes the survivors look for the little buggers that are sometimes hidden way to well. THEN they can focus on gens. =)

You could have a kill requirement for the killers to earn crowns, but we already have people on here bitching about how killers are being so unfair and toxic for this event. Imagine if the killer actually needed secure kills to get the cosmetic.

I'm not saying this is a perfect solution, but it seems like an ok middle ground between an event where we have to do something outside of hooks/gens and events like BBQ where its just hooks/gens.

I just dont understand if the killer has to do next to nothing for the crown why even give them the chance to grab it? They could just give the killers the crowns and leave the pedestals for the survivors. I mean no offense at all but the killer grabs it and is 100% gonna get it so why not just give them it anyway and let survivor players grab them. I would suggest cutting out the middle man and hand the killers the crowns kind of like they are doing anyway and leave the pedestals for the survivors to find. I know when I play killer and I see a survivor that manage to find a crown I do my best to not fully kill them or in some cases even help survivors find them because I know how hard it can be as a survivor.

Then throw in the recent problem I ran into where the game bugs and even when you do escape with the crown you do not get it. That is really the only problem that bothers me. I have escaped 6 times. I have done 3 with Jake and 3 with Jane with the crown only to still not get it, It just stinks that after that work I am left with nothing while the killer walks in grabs it and can stand there or better yet decided to kill you and say nope I am the only one getting a crown which was handed to me. I just think there should have been a little more thought into this.

  • @Nurgling7 said:

Because Survivors have shown in previous events that they will suicide on the hook after they get what they need for the event if given the chance.

The killer going AFK after getting their crown is annoying, but doesnt ruin the game for everyone the way hook suiciders do.

It kind of does because it takes away 90% of the game and point system. If i can't win chases and can't get rescues I lose many points and the chance to pip. I guess maybe I am alone here but I am not asking for it to be easy for survivor to get the event crown but it shouldnt be as simple as grabbing it for the killer either. I mean by that standards why not just give all the killers the crown anyway? I mean I could simply spend a day playing all killers run in grab crown and go AFK or play killer and earn the crown by needing to kill maybe 2 survivors. That way it makes everyone have to earn it. Sorry that seems to come off a bit mean and I did not mean to but just trying to suggest a better system for future events. I like to play both roles personally and am a bit blah how easy it is to get the crown for killers and how hard it is for survivor. I guess more so because I have escaped 6 times with Jake and Jane only for a bug to not give me the crown when I escaped with it. I mean after the work it took in those games to be denied it by a bug is annoying when as a killer I could just grab and stand. Ehh my problem not yours lol I will get over it 😀

Just play another killer or play survivor. It is clear that you need a new strat such as not putting your traps down early.

At the start of a killer game, I always like to patrol the gens to try and find a survivor straight away. If I am trapper I don't waste my time putting traps down straight away. I wait until around 2 gens are done and then put them down.

The problem seems to be he does not want to try a different strategy. He wants to do the same thing over and over and expect a different results. The problem is with trapper you need to kind of find the survivors first THEN place traps in the best areas. He wants to spend 10 minutes at the start hunting rabbits and setting traps instead of looking for the rabbits and then placing the traps in the general areas they will be in.

He should maybe try a different killer or play survivor but good luck making suggestions to him. =)

  • I had this issue while turning the game off after I died. The game was in the loading screen to results and I did not think and I got banned even though I had already died and did not DC. It was annoying. I was like wait I did not DC i accidentally hit the sleep button during the loading screen after I died so why does that count as DC? Oh well I guess I just need to be more careful.

Oh, so you'd prefer killer be motivated to deny you your crown every match because they HAVE to kill people?

Well I mean if we are expected to escape and get out then they should have to kill at least 1 survivor. If not they may as well just give the crown to all killers for everyone right now anyway if there is no real work to getting it.

  • Hell honestly at this point I gave up on the crown as a survivor. I have escaped many times now with the crown as Jake and Jane and still do not have it. When I mentioned it in a ticket they said they have heard this problem and so far no fix because yet again today same issue. Instead though we got more time for the event. I will just simply get it with killer. I mean I do not expect it to just be given to survivors but after 3 escapes as Jake with the crown and 3 with Jane and still no crown. I give up on it for now because how much work you need to go through to get it. It is so much easier getting it for killer because you just grab and stand there until they escape. lol

  • Place traps when you have time. Wait until you pressure them enough then place traps. If your first strategy is not working then try and change it up but to keep trying the same thing and expecting different results is insane.

True, but gens are more a means to end of locating survivors, a “bottle neck” for lack of a better phrasing.

It’s not “stay off ma damn lawn” simulator.

I like the idea of the "Stay of my lawn" simulator rofl

I did agree though that gens are a means and way of locating survivors but if you single mindlessly skip kicking gens are even caring about them and focus on one hook camping kills you lose sooooo many points. You are right the overall idea is to kill but the other objective is to kill while making sure those little bastard STAY OFF MY YARD! lol

  • Not trying to poke the bear but what I am getting from this post is to make it harder for SWF players. I mean it already feels hard for Solo que players if you want a challenge maybe lose the mics and play like all solo que players play without the use of mics and the ability to plan 3 steps ahead. Sorry and I am not trying to be mean but if the game is to easy because you are using a system that was typically not planned for this game maybe try playing without it sometimes. I have watched videos of SWF players and it does seem sooooo easy even if gens had a 5 minute gen time because you can communicate in a game that was never meant to be that way.

I know personally solo que survivor is already tough enough with being the only person most the time that does gens without needing to make them longer. I am lucky if I get help in most my games and most the time I have at least one person hiding the entire match and the other person who you are not sure what they are doing. I normally get one good player who tries to help.

In SWF play it seems easy because you have advantages that normal game play does not have. If you try to make it harder for players who play this style it just ruins the solo que players game then.

I am not trying to bash your way of playing and sorry if it seems like that just trying to point out the possible reason it is easy is because you can plan things like hey come over here and help with this gen, while another player keeps tabs on the killer. As to solo que where half the time I have no idea where my teammates are and I am doing a gen solo while trying to also keep tabs solo on the killer.

I run Whispers myself because I am ######### horrible at locating people, I have really bad mental issues that cut into my sense of awareness, but it alone doesn't do the trick. If I had to give advice to the OP it'd be to think like a survivor on top of using Whispers.

Exactly! I use whispers and use it like a hot and cold game. The louder the whisper the closer the survivor plus think like a survivor while using it. Think if the survivor is not at the gen but it has been touched the should be close. It really does work and listen to the whispers the louder it gets the closer you are the less you hear the farther away. =)

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/166412/i-#########-give-up-on-killer-for-now

    Take a breath.

The goal isn’t to prevent repairs, it’s to kill the survivors.

This should be an expected and common scenario with Trapper. In fact being too focused on gen pressure at the beginning, could be what costs you the match when you don’t have traps set up when you need them most.

I’m not saying ignore survivors or chases if you spot anyone in the beginning. I’m saying that Trappers 2 focuses are: make the remaining repairs as difficult and dangerous as possible, and wherever possible keep that zone around the basement.

It is kind of both. You get points for applying pressure and winning chases. I mean without preventing gen repairs how else would you find survivors? lol Also you can get 25-30k blood points without even killing one survivor if you win chases and apply pressure. (prevent repairs)

You are right though that the person should breath and rethink their strategy or take a break.

  • @NeaMainNON_TOXIC3 said:

Some people are trying to give you advice, yet you respond to them with negativity. If gens were done that fast, it was a lack on your part as killer. If they finished the gens by you, it means you disregarded checking on them. If this was as big a problem, you should've adapted to what had happened in your previous games. Like many have said use Corrupt Intervention. It allows you to force survivors to one half of the map. If you run Whispers too that helps you find someone quicker.

He said he runs whisper so I am even more confused as to why he could not get to a gen in time and find someone. I agree at this point though it is like talking to a wall that wont change and put in a window for a new point of view. =)

  • I am a person who plays survivor 80% of the time and I will say to assume that killer takes not skill is crazy. I give you maybe the Doctor or Hag or someone like that but how about Clown or the very high level skill cap Nurse?

Is it easier to be a killer I will answer that as a maybe. I understand that there is no skill checks like there is with survivors but those skill checks are there to help the killer find the survivors. If the fail it pops and tells the killer OVER HERE! If not it would be an even harder game of cat and mouse.

As survivor you have to rely on 3 other team members to help and not suck which makes the game already tough on your end and I have had many games where I have no joke done 4 or all 5 gens only to get killed because I left 2 totems behind expecting my team was gonna cleanse the other 2. Instead they open the gate as I get hooked and run and take the win.

It is hard playing both sides because each match is different and every killer is different. I think killer CAN be easier sometimes than survivor but to assume all killers are OP is pretty much what you are saying with this post is a plan out lie. This post is saying all and every killer can easily get the kill and that is not true. I would say and agree playing killers like Doctor and the Hag and a few others are easy but then killers like Nurse and Legion and even the poor Clown can be tough.

  • How about a Pokemon Chapter.......Charizard is the killer or Metwo and Ash can run for his life rofl

Not to get nitpicky. *Nitpicking intensifies*

But actually you can get up to 32k without killing a single survivor, if you abuse the endgame collapse hooks. Its hard to do that without actively farming however as most people see someone get hooked in the endgame collapse and go "Well you're dead, peace m8" (actually even farming people tend to do that...)

Without abusing endgame collapse you can get the upside of 28k as IIRC the max hook value outside of endgame collapse is (500*8+200*4) so 28,800 is the maximum without using the endgame collapse hook bonus. Of course thats assuming you max out all other categories which is fairly easy without killing survivors. Its always a fun fact to think about that a killer can achieve 32k BP without killing a single survivor.

As to Noed. It puts too much focus on the killing aspect not the denial aspect of killer. Ultimately the killers job is to deny escape for as long as possible (Of course this in itself can get boring if its done too effectively without actually killing). This is why the killer gains bonus BP for hooking during the endgame collapse. It FURTHER denies escape by forcing the survivors to decide between saving an ally or letting them die. Noed breaks this portion of the endgame rather than forcing the killer to attempt to deny escape (An ever futile effort i may add as most killers should know), it allows the killer to go on a killing spree completely ignoring the endgates in most situations. It also means any attempt to save a hooked survivor is suicidal, meaning that saving is out of the question (Or maybe you just want to die?). This means it doesn't deny anyone or anything it specifically has one purpose, gain kills until the hex is removed. As can be seen by this thread alone the most heavily debated aspects of the game are always those that involve killing survivors over denying escape. Moris are equally as contentious a debate.

While the purpose of this thread is a rant, i will refer to a previous thread that discussed alterations to Noed. Particularly making this perk focus on the theme of denial, granting exposed and revealing the aura of survivors that attempt to open exit gates would be a WONDERFUL rework that would make the perk keep with the killer theme of denying escape rather than pure killing.

I love your idea of how NOED should be reworked. I for one would use it then if it was used the way you mentioned granted I do like using it now once in a while with Blood Warden to shock the toxic survivors who refuse to just leave when I am trying to let them escape but I would be okay. =)

I agree though and already thought that about this game. The killers role is to extend the game for as long as possible while chasing and stopping survivors. I mean yes it is also about killing but that is such a small percent of the overall point system. That is why I almost do not care to kill and do more applying pressure and kicking gens and chasing. Yes I will hook them a few times but that is for both of us. It benefits me with points and the survivors with the rescue and heal. That is why I never camp and I refuse to tunnel. I do my best to make the game fun for everyone. I like the idea of NOED showing killers in range of the exit gate and not just give killers a quick one two punch.

I have seen way to many hags and Trappers getting easy 4k kills by trapping the exit gates and the game is over because they can't even crawl out of the gates because they are not open. I mean believe me I am all for doing totems and I do as many as I can find. I just sadly play solo Survivor and I know for a fact most players do not do a totem if it is dull. I watched MANY teammates dry hump dull totems and leave them only later to be killed by NOED. I do my best to get them all but if they reworked Hex:Ruin because that was a problem (when really it wasn't) then NOED should be reworked as well maybe using this idea you offered. =)

Overall I have no issue with any perks and think each perk has its use and spot in the game either as a training wheel for new players but then drop them and use other perks. However things like BT and NOED become crutches for players who refuse to learn other ways of playing. Sorry if that offends people. =(

  • Not being trying to be rude at all but what is your idea of what gen times should be? I mean 80 seconds solo seems reasonable. If me as a killer cannot get to a gen in 80 seconds to pressure the survivor away that is on me not the developers. I mean 3 gens! You could not manage to get to one to stop any of it? That is not gen time that is skill level and play style problems. I won't post anymore because it is an endless loop but unless they boost gen times to 2 minutes each which would be crazy at the moment it takes a minute and 20 seconds solo without toolbox. In that minute most killers can move around the maps fast enough to scare survivors and make them run and make scratch marks.

I guess maybe stick with survivor because personally I have not seen many people having troubles as killer or survivor recently. I think at the moment honestly the game is at a good spot. It seem like both killers and survivors are balanced right now. I suck at killer and even as nurse one of the hardest killers to learn can apply pressure using only 2 perks. Sorry once again this seems to happen to you often but still not sure why or how.

Reapplying failed results over and over while expecting different results is the definition of insanity.

That was my point. He keeps playing the same way over and over with no chance of wanting to try any one else's idea's and then is surprised when he cant kill. To try and learn a different play style or different killer but don't assume the survivors are OP because of this match. I think that is what he wants. I am just taking a stab in the dark but could be wrong.

  • I thought if they did Silent Hill why not a Resident Evil chapter? They could add Chris and Jill as survivors and maybe a Tyrant or something as a killer. There is so much to pick from and for the map they could use the Mansion from the First game or Raccoon City.

Man, the first gen got poped so ######### fast that didnt received even the notification. Also i was as trapper, what do you want me to do?

A gen takes at least 80+ seconds with one person on it. If you are saying 3 gens popped before you found someone that means at least 2 gens had only 1 person on them and maybe the third gen had maybe 2. I feel like even if you went to one gen you should have found someone in that time so if this is a common problem for you then maybe it's your skill level and not the gen time. I am not sure how you are not finding one survivor. I mean heck I have games where I go out of my way NOT TO FIND ANYONE and still accidentally stumble on them so not sure how 3 gens are popping and in that 88 seconds you cant go to one of the four corners and find at least one survivor.

I just did research and a Gen with 1 person on it and no toolbox takes 80 seconds.

2 survivors on a gen is 47.06 seconds.

You are saying all your matches you start and instantly 3 gens pop. The math and stuff don't add up because at best if 3 gens are popping at the same time that means 1 person each on 2 separate gens and MAYBE the third gen might have the last 2 survivors. Then put into consideration that means you have a minimum of 47 to 80 seconds to find at LEAST one survivor before a gen pops. How are you always managing to go to the wrong gens and even if you do not moving fast enough to get to the next one and never finding one survivor? I mean you are looking at the gens right and not walking away from them or to the same gen over and over right?

I understand trapper is slow but maybe instead of placing traps ASAP go and get them off gens first then lay traps? I don't know but it sounds like you are using the same strategy over and over and expecting different results. You need to change it up or try a new killer maybe?

  • If this happens to you that often then maybe you need to change your play style. I personally at max maybe had 2 gens pop but not 3. I normally use Whispers are Corrupt Intervention and I run straight to the furthest gen while run near the close ones near me while listening for noise. I am sorry you seem to have bad luck and hope you find a game that is more your speed. Best Wishes~

  • Just saying but over all the events survivors always get things like I have a good bunch of firecrackers but the reason I think they get them is because well it is hard to get. You not only have to hope to find these items but then hope your team does not suck enough for you to escape with it. If killers got items as you want how would it be made fair for killers to be just given something when survivors have to work to even keep these small items?

PS I am not saying you are wrong at all but just pointing out that killers normally don't get any items because the only real things they could get would be a cosmetic which is even more rare then a item and would be easy to get like crowns for killers currently.

  • Personally I never camp. I figure even if I do not get the kill for some odd reason then I get chase points. I mean you have 2 on hook and not one gen popped. I am pretty sure you do not need to camp because these survivors are potatoes. lol If you do camp though and kill lets say all or majority of them on hook one you may gain points on the sacrifice end but lose points on the lack of chase and other parts of the game like applying pressure to the gens. I say it is up to you and you decide when to camp but I almost never camp. The only time I will stick around is when a gen is popped and then normally that means they will be coming to save the hooker or when I clearly see someone coming other than that I leave the hooker and go apply pressure else where and wait for the hooker to stop hooking then run back and get chase points and rehooker points. 😂 YAY HOOKERS! lol

When I was collecting the killer crowns I tried to 2-hook everyone and direct them to the crowns & escape, but because I don't play killer outside of dailies and archive challenges, I'm pretty low-rank (at the start of this event I'd been rank reset back to 20) so most of the survivors I was against were probably brand new and didn't really understand what I was trying to do, so there were a few hook suicides and DCs, but tyipcally the Nea players understood, for some reason.

Yeah, it is funny you point that out. I feel like when I play killer and I try to help the survivors it is more than likely the Nea and Claudettes catch on first that I am not here to kill them. I love the people who you chase forever and clearly could have hit and yet they keep running thinking they are outplaying you. It is like look and think if I wanted you I would have had you. I am trying to help you people! I mean you ran face first into my boobs and motorboated me and I still did not swing, obviously I do not want to hurt you. lol

Oh and yeah I do try to hook everyone at least once to give me points and let them get points for saves as well but yeah some people kill themselves because I am guessing there is to many killers that are not to nice in the game. lol......I normally play killer only wanting to kill 2 players and let the other 2 go. I could get the 4k win but I after the first 2 are dead I normally already have over 20k points so might as well help the survivors as well, especially now with the limited time they have to get these crowns. 😀

I do agree that the emblem system made "what are our objections" a little bit more vague. I know i have pipped as Legion plenty of times without even killing a survivor

And yeah end game build Noed is only noed for me too

I think NOED can be used as a good learning tool and for some of those joke builds when you want to punish toxic teabaggers but other than that it is one of those perks I personally won't use unless like you said I use it in my very few end game builds but even then its rare for me to use plus it is easy to counter.

The funniest match for me was when I watched a survivor after I had already died open the exit gate as his other team member got slugged on the FAR SIDE and I mean FAR side of the map. Well the guy opens the gate stands there a second watches his teammate get picked up the whole time while looking right at the NOED totem. It was no joke arms length from him! It was on the map Lery's Memorial Institute and there was 3 boxes in a triangle shape right next to the gate with it lit right there. Well instead of taking the 10 seconds and breaking it THEN leaving and giving his other two partners a slight chance the guy just leaves. I was like okay if people cannot do bones when it is that easy I do not expect them to do bones anytime. I am sorry to bore you with this dumb story but it was just funny and shocking to me how easily he could have safely helped his team and got points but was like nope I am out. It just shows me that Solo play is so hard to get all the bones yourself because no one else is gonna. lol

I guess point to my story is DO BONES! NOED is not the problem but the lazy survivors and lack of team work is the problem.

  • I guess this answers my question to my post I just made. People are not reading and just grabbing the crown without doing research to who can and cannot get the crown. Now this explains why I am competing with people playing Nancy, Steve, and Laurie and other licensed characters when in the end they cannot even get it. I see so many licensed characters the past few days racing other players to it only to grab it and I laugh because I am like you just screwed you both over. Read news in all the new updates and events. I started to because I use to miss big notes like that as well. I am not trying to be mean and I know the feeling because I actually got the crown twice with Jake and escaped and still do not got it but he is a original character. =(

Now that I've collected all the survivor crowns I play as Tapp trying to direct other people to them if I see them. If we get to endgame and everyone else has a crown, and I happen to see another, I'll grab it just for the hell of it, but not if I know someone could be missing out.

That is very nice of you and I am happy to see other players not being toxic and helping each other. I do the same thing and even when I play killer I help survivors get them as best I can. I want everyone to get a chance to get them while they can and that is why I will chase survivors as a killer and maybe even slap them but wont kill them and sometimes even carry their bodies to the crown because some of them are clueless. lol

The problem is that survivors suddenly think that defending generators is the killer objective

It's not. The objective is sacrificing survivors. Killers have not lost when the last generator is completed.

If i choose to focus completing that objective in the late part of the game that doesn't mean i "failed"

I never use Noed cause it's too inconsistent, but people qho say it rewards failure are just plain dead wrong

Actually both sacrificing survivors and putting pressure on gens is the killers job. You cannot simply ignore gens and just slap the survivors silly. It needs to be a equal balance. I mean if the game was simply KILL KILL KILL then how come I can get 25k blood points as killer without killing one survivor? It is because I apply so much pressure on gens and win chases and get max points there but choose to let survivors go. I do agree though that NOED is not that bad and is easily killed by doing bones but I also do agree it seems to be used as a crutch by mostly the campiest and crappiest killers. My all time favorites are the trappers and hags who use NOED and also trap the gates that are already close together. I play killer and never use it because I hate needing to wait until the game is pretty much done for a perk to work.

However! I do find it fun using it mixed NOED with Blood Warden. It is fun when the survivors are teabagging and thinking oh we won and you smack one and they follow you to pluck them from the hook only to run back to the gate and crap themselves when they see Blood warden in effect. That is some funny stuff and I only do it once in a while just for a laugh and a good teaching lesson not to be a toxic teabagging survivor. 😀

  • I personally do not have a problem with NOED. Is it a bit overused probably but it teaches people to do bones. I have seen MANY survivors dry humping a totem but because it is not lit they get off and run and leave it for the next survivor to dry hump. If a totem is dull or not dull JUST DO IT!

I will say however I do have a slight issue with it only because as a killer myself I do not use it because I hate to use it as a crutch. I do personally feel it is a good tool as a first time killer but it should not be something you learn to depend on. I now use it just for laughs in combination with Blood Warden and laugh as survivors teabag and I bop one and hook him and then the other ones panic because they are trapped. I laugh and think yeah keep teabagging. lol

There is no ONE perk stronger then the next and all perks have their good benefits and bad ones. I have played games using DS and never got to use it once because the killer was smart enough to leave me on the ground. I also have to say I almost never see DS or BT anymore even though killers think they are overused and to strong.

In the end yes NOED is a huge pain but it is a great learning tool for both survivors and killers but I do agree it can be super annoying seeing the same perk 8 times in a row and a killer who in one case could not find one survivor managing a 3 kill because of it because the gates are easy to camp as killer. I however do not mind it and have come to expect it and that is why I DO BONES dull or not! I will say however I do wish it would let you know when the effect was on though because many games I do 3 totems and HOPE my other teammates can manage the last 2 only to get slugged and killed first hook. Eeehh It's just a game. 😀

I like the festive one a bunch I just wish I didn't have to stare at his belly ew..

Rofl yeah that is kind of a downside to it. I wish the coat was closed but it makes sense they made him look gross and bumish I guess. lol

750 total- 250 for collection and 500 for escaping (survivor)/ending trial (killer).

    AFAIK anyway

Aaaah that makes sense and thank you for the info. =)

  • @Buttercake said:

Everyone keeps saying 750. But not on my game. It's not really that big of a deal, though. I already have my crowns and save them for folks like you now.

Thank you and yeah the points are not a big deal to me but to others it might be. I do the same though and try my best to help fellow players get them even when I play killer I will let survivors go because I know how hard it is to not only get a good team and escape but also how hard it can be on some maps to even find the crowns. lol

  • I have to say he is one of my favorite killers even though he is not to strong. That is kind of why he is my favorite killer along with Legion. I feel like its more fun to have to work for the kill than walking around as Doc and survivors screaming I AM HERE for him. When it comes to cosmetics as well I love a bunch of the Clown's. My favorite is probably the Pink Elephant but I also own the Santa one for the holidays so I can kill while being festive. lol He has a bunch of good cosmetics.

  • @Buttercake said:

It's only 250 for me. How come everybody else gets 750? 😢

Oh really you only get 250? I wonder why and maybe I am seeing things wrong but I did take a few screen shots and I believe it was 750.

  • Sadly no luck but it's okay I mean the chapter alone is good enough plus I have so many charms anyway. I just thought the cool code music was interesting and nice seeing a Easter egg. =)
