Psssh, insta saw was the reason most hillbillies even played him, silent billy is not good against SWF and that's why you rarely see him anymore.

When most people play killer, they like to come out with the best. Tbh Billy is still good, but he's B-toer at best

alot of people played billy for the flicks but it’s almost impossible to do so now with the cool down changes,

Legion is the current worst killer

A close second is Clown and Demo.

The top of the bottom tier is Deathslinger.

I don’t understand why people think demo is bottom tier. I think it’s just cause ppl don’t use him effectively. He’s insanely good in chase, learn how to use his power and master it and you’ll be downing survivors extremely fast and forcing pallets out of them. Just cause his anti loop isn’t as simple and easy to use as deathslingers or clowns doesn’t make him bad. His portals are also very effective when you are able to set them up and put them in good positions. Especially when you use them frequently, you can really scare and confused survivors. He’s definitely not an amazing killer but he’s not bottom tier.

  • Yea I partially agree with this. Yes there are alot of exposed status effect perks and killers, but the devs have pretty much stopped with it since ghostface's release (exept for this new gen exposed perk). I feel the same way you do about the oblivious status effect. The devs are constantly adding those atm and almost every killer has an oblivious addon or two now. I feel as if it just takes away from true stealth killers like wraith and ghostface and gives killers stealth abilities for free whilst these true stealth killers sacrifice their power to gain stealth. And yea not a fan of this hex: undying perk. They really want the game to become full of hex builds and one giant gamble (which is why i am against hex perks). Now there are three totem defender perks, retribution, thrill of the hunt and undying, which is just ludicrous. Gimme some more strong skillful perks like pop and surge and less luck of the draw free use ones.

  • This is a weird thought but:

Have you noticed that all new perks, new killers and killers reworks have cool downs and multiple charges for their power? Just look at nurse, billy, bubba, doctor, thrilling, surge. I don’t think it’s intended to make killers weak but in a way to give everything a cool down and multiple charges whether it’s shoot or long. I would have no idea however why this would the case tho. Just a random thought.

  • Look I would agree with this statement apart from the fact that I’m not a fan of all these oblivious perks and add ons coming in to the game now. What’s the point of playing a stealth killer if you can run an addon or perk that makes you undetectable. I think oblivious and other indicators that the killer is undetectable need to stay otherwise you are literally saying stuff you we don’t need you to all stealth killers.

  • The original chase music is by far my favourite, possible slinger’s at second.

  • @Blueberry said:

His ranged attack should apply Torment on hit or it leaves the trenches on the ground of its radius. Either one. Other than that I'm pretty happy with him.

Currently seems a little too easy too avoid and too much of a waste of time for what little it gives.

People need to stop underestimating this killer. Getting people into torment shouldn’t be something which you can do for free or with ease. Even then all you need to do is place torment around hooks, gens and at loops and you are guaranteed to get at least some people into torment. You don’t need to get literally EVERYONE every time, remember you can still hook people like any normal killer.

  • As survivor: Freddy and deathslinger

    As killer: Immersed survivors

  • Nurse is strong but still is no match for freddy. He has so much more going for him, and no negatives which is what makes him unfun. I would say she's second strongest with no addons and third with addons, as spirit's addons elevate her to another level much more than people realise.

Oh boy, let me correct you on this because I smell a load of BS:

    • "Free Slowdown"

No, no he does not have Free Slowdown. He needs to burn an add-on to get generator slowdown, and two of them only works if they are in the dream state. The Purple one also can be worse than the first two because it requires all 4 survivors to be asleep for it to work as effectively as possible.

    • Insane Anti-Loop

Once again, no. His snares are barely a problem. If you see him placing snares, it's your cue to start getting the heck out of there. And even then, I have a friend who is a Freddy main and he has been playing Freddy with the Kid's Drawing add-on which basically makes his snares useless. He still 4ks every game without the help of snares, so no, his snares aren't a problem. Your skill as a survivor is.

    • Reduced Terror Radius

I'll let it speak for itself:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/191/M0H9FMAZ6DFD.png

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/042/UKZOHQM4Q16N.png

    • Shortened Height

The Pig, The Hag, The Legion, The Ghostface, The Spirit. Yeah no, he isn't the only one with Shortened Height, and the only reason it feels like that is because every other Killers are towering beasts (except the other 5)

Please don't derail this thread into another "Freddy is OP!!11!!!1!" thread, it gets tiring to see them when people are just clearly not as good as they think they are.

    Forgot one of your points:

    • Teleportation at Will

His teleport has a cooldown of roughly 60 seconds, faking a teleport gives him another cooldown of around 10 seconds. If he could teleport whenever then yeah, I agree he can be broken. But if his teleport incurs a LONG cooldown like this then it's relatively balanced. Not to mention SURVIVORS ARE GIVEN WARNING THAT HE IS TELEPORTING TO THEIR GENERATORS. So if you get hit after Freddy teleports knowing full well he is doing so it's 100% on you.

I don't even know where to start honestly. First of all, you can't break away from a loop when a freddy places a snare. You wanna know why? Because he doesn't have a cooldown. You could spam as many spares as you like with NO penalty whatsoever. Trapper and hag have to spend time prepping and setting up, which with that risk comes a rewark if survivors step in their traps. Clown has a slowdown when he throws his bottle and placement and aiming is key with his bottles. He also has limited bottles so he cant just keep throwing bottles whenever he wants. This is the main problem with freddy, that he doesn't get punished for making mistakes. Let's compare him to the three other top tier killers, Nurse, Spirit and Huntress. A nurse has to be extremely good with her blinks in order to be rewarded with a hit, and messing up results in a long fatigue for her. Huntress has limited hatchets and once she runs out, shes a 110% killer until she reloads. Spirit can completely loose a survivor and suffer from a long cooldown if she phases incorrectly or gets mindgamed. See all of these killers have strong powers, yet they have penalties for messing up and require skill to use. You can't expect to 4k as soon as you pick up one of these killers. Freddy is completely opposite. Along with having no cooldown from placing a snare, he does have a slowdown if you look at how his power works. You have to break out of dream world every 60 seconds otherwise you risk the freddy sneaking up on you and will be extremely vunerable in chase with his snares. This isn't even considering the fact that dreamworld renders so many perks useless including BT. Yes his teleportation does have a 60 second cooldown but this is if no-one is in dream world, otherwise he has a much shorter cooldown. Also, freddy doesn't even have to work for his insanely strong map pressure. Just looking at Demogorgon alone, he has to place his portals around the map in strategic spots where the survivors can't see them. The main problem with him as i mentioned so many times is his that he doesn't get punished for playing bad. There's so much more i could go into detail with and talk about how he basically steals other killer's powers and make them look useless, but i'm not going to. Just look at one of my discussions if you wan't to see mroe. At the end of the day, I'm all for strong killers, but strong killers with a low skill cap and no penalties for bad plays? No thanks.

  • -Rework freddy and deathslinger

    -Mori and key rework

-Change in emblem system and ability to rank up

-Redesign yamaoka maps so you can actually see

-Remove breakable walls ( I think they are a stupid and frustrating thing for killer and survivor alike)

-Map change (shrink big maps, remove dead zones and infinites_

    -Give Jeff some decent cosmetics

  • Doc isn't bad for the game, freddy is. Doctors main power is detection along with a side anti loop which is very counterable. Freddy on the other hand has the powers of about five different killers: a free slowdown, insane antiloop, teleportation at will, reduced terror radius and shortened height. Also doc is good at flushing out all those immersed claudetess in the corners of the map.

  • Having this ability would take all of the skill and fun out of learning and playing her. Thats what alot of people enjoy about nurse, the challenge and the reward which comes with it. As for locations where you can't blink, it could potentially be a bugged spot which was created in the recent patch, however if not you've just gotta learn where you can and can't blink, something which should be natural if you've played and practised her alot.

  • I think viability in dbd is an extremely difficult concept to grasp on and apply to each killer, because it's no way black and white. I generally agree with you however I don't think its really possible to determine an exact tier list based of viability and exact strengths. There's just too many variables when it comes to the survivor's plays, map layouts and the killer's play. One failed mindgame can cost you an entire game yet you won't even realise it. I think it may be possible to say one killer is stronger than another but yet again its situational and player dependant. I do gotta disagree with the Oni point though. Oni has to earn his ability and it's main purpose isn't for dashing across the map. Good oni's wont use their power unless they see a healthy person. Using it to get across the map is a huge waste considering the short duration of the power. Also, Oni is a great example of how small variables durastically affect a killer's outcome. Not getting hits early could make you think that oni is weak, yet at the same time you might be downing survivors instanty with your power and not coming across a survivor who knows how to counter oni. I just don't even know where to start with all of the little variables which durastically affect the outcome. A simple little one could be when comparing huntress and deathslinger. It could all come down to whether the survivor runs one side or another side of a loop, and one side allows you to shoot the survivor and down them where as another side doesn't have the right angle, and at the time you would think dang huntress is so much better she could hit the survivor over the pallet. I'm starting to believe that if you make the right plays on everything and have a decent build, you can win with every killer. O

  • I agree, switching from PS4 to PC was the best decision regarding this game for me. I also live in a smaller region so it's nice having a smaller and nice community where everyone knows eachoher and is friendly.

    Excuse the filter.

At the end of the video, I port LINEAR to the 2nd floor and it shoots me down.

Why is Nurse being ignored? Every patch, every week, there's a new bug, new glitch that goes ignored.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoaGb-OuIw0

With double range addons, I can't get to the second floor.

This is a bug, there are some more on other maps as well including the game. However, they devs will fix it like they did with sanctum of wrath. Yes i do think they should watch out for these bugs more carefully and react faster, however this isn't the devs intended purpose and they do care about nurse, it's just that there's so many killers bugged atm.

  • Yea this is just annoying. I would anyway rather vs a swf which is good at looping and coordination than one which just hides and gen rushes.

  • I would put list my top three as

    1:Freddy

    2:Spirit

    3:Nurse

two and three were a close one but spirit is ultimately stronger with add ons and perks. Freddy is Brokenly strong in the meta especially since the long waited infinites change. There’s nothing Freddy lacks or gets punished for.

    Consistently 50 - 80. Whenever i check in game it says 63-68

This isn’t oni’s problem this is latency and animation problems.

You have to balance it vs other killers, know that he has to be able to shoot you to be a thread so if you move around a lot of objects, the killer will have a hard time getting you, remember that he is fairly slow.

He is potentially strong, but hey, there is Nurse...

And a clever Trapper can end a chase before it even starts, and a Hag can.... they all have ways to end something quickly but all also have their weaknesses, Deathslinger is no exception

It’s the same argument with Freddy though. Hag and trapper take prep time and careful placement, Freddy and deathslinger don’t take any prep time. Yea you can just run behind objects but this is map dependent and a decent slinger will just shoot you the second they catch sight of you. Nurse also has some of the most well designed counterplay using tactics such as breaking line of sight and doubling back. Also nurse suffered tremendously when she messes up. Deathslinger has a much smaller recovery and punishment if he manages to miss.

  • How dare you insult Sally and the matchbox like that. Matchbox nurse is the best meme in the entire game with brutalduryfuryboozle. Some of her add ons are bad but she’s got some decent ones, like her range, blink cool down and fatigue cooldown. Whilst I’m not entirely happy with her base change, I think she and her add ons are in a far better spot.

  • The thing is a decent deathslinger is almost impossible to get away from unless u drop pallets early. Baby deathslingers are fun to vs because you can dodge their shots and bait them. Good deathslingers will just fake the shoot though and m1 you as you loose distance by preemptively dodging, which you have to. With huntress there’s a wind up time so she can’t just keep faking the shot. He gives off a lot of legion vibes, and he would be way better if there was an aiming time so he can’t just instantly shoot which is almost impossible to dodge unless you preemptively do it.

  • @BlueFirebilly said:

Lots of people hate facing the Meefslinger but not me, I like the challenge he provides in chases and it helps me get better, people just seem to like to whine because it is not the normal run the killer around for 5 minutes type of deal, you have to be smart and decisive with your actions against him.

  • @Rivyn said:

Devs had the maps in their hands, and we've known for years how bad Haddonfield is. Shouldn't the mid chapter have been the perfect time it was given a redo? Or is that being saved for down the line with an actual rework, like Lerrys.

Haddonfield did get a change, the broken corner fences were removed which was one of the main problems of the map. The houses aren’t to bad especially after the balanced landing nerf, and there is only one true god pallet on that map.

  • @TheButcher said:

It's literally only because the vast majority of players don't want to take the time to learn how to play against Freddy, they fight to have him nerfed instead. If it doesn't follow the same ring around the rosie, copy and paste, boring gameplay. Then they will make up any reason to make the killer the same as all the others - just run in circles around every pallet, till the Killer takes the hit, or forces you to drop the pallet - and then run to the next pallet.

People who complain that Freddy is boring, are the same bunch that expect every game to go the same way in the survivors favor without any actual skill needed to play.

Why should survivors have to learn how to play against freddy when you don’t need to learn how to play him. Even when you do know how to play against him it’s very boring just dropping pallets early rather than playing mind games with them and windows.

  • @Respectfulnancymain said:

Any decent killer player can pick him up in a few hours and start getting ez 4ks while killers like huntress, spirit or nurse take actual time and dedication to learn

Hit the nail on the head with that. I’m all for strong killers as long as they have 1: counter play and 2: requires skill from the killers end. Oni and demo are some other good example along with doctor. Idk about deathslinger though he’s very boring to vs.

  • @Mew said:

its a known issue and the devs have said it isnt intentional

Oh ok thx that explains a lot

  • Idk how anyone can think that mobile is better than pc/console. Yes mobile has got some nice features such as the ability to earn bp and shards through quests, but remember that on mobile you only start with 3 survivors and 2 killers. The bloodmarket is so much worse than the bloodweb as it takes way longer to grind through all of the levels and makes spending bp frustrating. Also remember there is only one bloodmarket for all killers and one for all survivors, which makes the variety incredibly small and finding specific addons or items that you want so much more painful than needed. The bots, although fun at first, will become incredibly boring and repetivite the more you play the game. I bet you within 20 hours of playing mobile you will want to come back to pc/console.

  • As annoying as badham can be to get consistently, I'll take it over any of those immersed yamaoka maps and lery's/ the game. It would be nice if there was a unique aspect to each variation but oh well.

  • I would be onboard with buffs to his power but i would also like to see some quality of life changes for the survivor side as well, because currently its not very enjoyable vsing a deathslinger, especially a decent one as the counterplay is limited and when you do dodge a shot it just feels like they messed up rather than you outplayed them. First thing it would be nice if there was an audotorial cue when he aims like huntress and a cooldown inbetween the time he aims and the time he shoots. Doesn't have to be long, just enough time for a survivor to register the shot and make a potential conterplay. This would be nescasery especially if deathlsinger is able to pull survivors over pallets, as currently vaulting and pulling a pallet down is impossible without getting shot due to the instant quick scopes which he can do. Would also like his terror radius to become normal, especially if he becomes 115%. Ranged killers should not be able to sneak up on players and should be detectable from a distance, not nescaserily with a heart beat but in the way that huntress's lullaby covers a large area. At the end of the day though these changes as good as they are would make him even more similar to huntress, which is why I believe he should be redesignes with a unique power rather than just a point and shoot.

  • I swear when will people stop complaining about ds and talk about something else for once. As strong as ds is, it's counterable, and with many options. You can leave the person on the floor and get pressure/momentum, eat the ds and leave the player vunerable or you could just not tunnel. If you happen to pick up someone without tunneling because you hooked someone else and caught them again within a minute, then clearly you are in a decent position as killer and eating a ds and taking a 5 second stun won't hurt you that much. Remember killers have NOED and i don't go around complaining about that (even though noed is extremely powerful even when not activated) because I know that survivors have DS. The worst bit tho is when people claim that the old ds was better. Clearly you did not play the game much or at all then if you are making such a statement. At the end of the day ds is just something that becomes instinctly avoidable and you become naturally aware of, much like dead hard and bt, and bbq, pop and NOED.

  • As survivor, I honestly rarely ever care about escaping unless I feel like it’s going to be a close or clutch escape. I just want to have my 3 chases and fun with the killer. Killer however I feel is a bit more complicated. So many factors come into play to whether I enjoyed the game or not. These include the killer, the build, the skill of survivors, the interactivity of chases, the map, gens, etc. My point is that some games I don’t care about getting 0 kills as I may feel I deserved it, had fun or was just meming. For example playing bubba without pywf/nemesis I only wish to try some good baits and mind games on the survivors.

  • Agree with everything on that list except deathslinger. God is he awful to Vs, feels like vsing and old legion. He’s incredibly weak when you play him yet there’s little you can do in a chase, especially against one who has half a brain, as they will just wait out your dodge and m1 you. The only time you will have a good chase with one is when they are garbage yet that feels even worse as it doesn’t feel like you are outplaying but rather they are messing up. Hunters is so much stronger, fun and far better to vs.

  • @elvangulley said:

All these survivors talking about brainless and skilless but everything perk they use and every strategy they use ise the same tired brainless skilless bs wheres the skill in ds ill wait

Least Ds has counter play. Slug or don’t tunnel. Simple.

  • I’ve actually done a post about this as well long before this became the topic of discussion. I am definitely of the view that he is not fun to vs and not very skilful. I think he would be a lot better if he didn’t have his snares/pallets and instead had another map pressure ability like the teleport. His loaded kit just makes fun of other killers who have to use their power efficiently. However I am turning towards the view now that Freddy is not as bad as deathslinger. He is giving me way too many old legion vibes and I’m hoping that he gets a rework. Not only that but his power is so ridiculously similar to the huntresses in concept and isn’t creative. At least u can predict a freddy’s movement and attempt to act accordingly.

  • Freddy and deathslinger are probably some of the funnest but for the wrong reasons. Brain dead gameplay pretty much. Spirit is fun, strong and not too hard to learn. Pig is great for people who want a chill game without having to worry too much about applying pressure. Stealth killers are generally a blast to play. Hunters, oni, billy and nurse are fun once mastered, however quite difficult. The rest have their pros and cons. I would recommend starting off with a stealth killer if that’s what you are looking for.

  • I’m not going to go into detail as I have done many times before but there are many ways to put pressure on survivors. Biggest tips are:

-use the right perks, biggest no no against gen rushing survivors is to use sloppy and nurses, this does nothing. Relying on hexes is also something I wouldn’t recommend.

-leave a survivor if u don’t get a hit or good pallet within 15-30 seconds. Also don’t chase survivors which are running away from the gens or running to a god loop.

-mind game when u can and don’t when u can’t. I hate seeing so many killers take the pallet rather than mine game at high loops, especially jungle gyms and killer shack. You are just wasting your time and could be downing so much faster.

-play according to your killer, some killers will have gens pop fast at the start but then slow down dramatically, some will work the opposite.

There definitely are a lot of busted maps and situations in which there is nothing you can do against the inevitable pop of the fifth gen, however these new map changes being implemented will definitely solve a lot of problems regarding gen and map pressure and should help killers gain the upper hand more often.

  • 1: don’t go for chases without getting a pallet or hit within 30 seconds, you will waste time and throw the game.

2: make sure mindgame when u can and don’t when u can’t. Don’t waste your time breaking pallets when you could easily double back and catch the survivor.

3: don’t rely on hexes or use bad perks. People don’t realise how useless perks like sloppy and nurses are against good survivors, they just won’t heal, duh?

4: rotate rotate and rotate. I can’t stress this enough, learn when to rotate and don’t waste your time on useless chases.

5: play per your killer, each killer needs to be played a different way and some killers will have 3 gens pop in 2 minutes only to snowball and prevent any more from being done. I hate seeing killers who run perks such as sloppy and try to injure everyone whilst playing nurse, spirit, huntress. These killers excel at 1v1’s and it’s far more effective to constantly be downing people and hooking rather than injuring and slugging.

  • I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that I don’t have too much of a problem With swf as a rank 1 killer. You would be surprised the amount of swfs that are garbage at looping individually and easy to snowball off of. I would say 80-90 percent of my games are relatively winnable using most killers, obviously some exceptions regarding maps and certain chance factors. The other 10 percent of matches are against the good survivors or swfs who are strong and confident with their looping as well as decently fast on gens, like the ones you seemed to have vsed although I could be wrong. Personally I have a blast with these matches. As long as I’m playing a decently strong killer, I really enjoy the challenge of having to play perfectly well and watching how they try to outplay me, teaches you a lot about killer, and when you do manage to beat the team it is an amazing feeling to know that you outplayed them. Obviously some of these games you aren’t going to win but what would a game be if you could win every game? Some tips however that I would definitely recommend to start off with.

1: Rotation. If you can’t catch, injure or get a good pallet out of a survivor in 15-30 seconds, leave the chase. Go rotate to other survivors who are on gens using perks such as discordance and corrupt intervention. Also if a survivor is running away from a group of generators or to an extremely safe place, don’t take the chase in the first place. You would be surprised the amount of killers I see chase someone who’s running away from their three gen situation.

2: Only tunnel if you can secure a kill: More often than not tunnelling and camping is just going to hinder you especially against good and coordinated survivors. Rotating away from hooked survivors and onto survivors doing gens puts more pressure on the team to get off of the gens as either the killer is on them or they need to rotate for the hook save. However if you can secure a kill on someone and you need it, sometimes you’ve just gotta go for it.

3: Use good builds: A fair few killers use builds that either rely on hexes or just have no effectiveness against decent teams. A good example is the good old sloppy, nurses and thana build. This build may be extremely strong against most average survivors, however good survivors won’t and don’t need to heal, rendering your build practically useless apart from the small effects which Thana may have.

4: Mindgame: Every opportunity you have to, mind game mind game mind game. Taking the opportunity to get a down is far better than taking the stun and pallet. Remember at the same time if you can’t mind game something, don’t waste your energy on it.

5: Don’t give up: Despite this it’s important to remember that sometimes you just can’t win a match due to certain map rng or too many gens going at once. However there’s never nothing you can learn from the game. Sometimes getting beaten up by a few swfs can do wonders for your killer skills and give you a better chance at taking them down later on.

At the end of the day it does seem like matchmaking is the biggest cause of many of these unbalanced matches and that’s something I definitely don’t agree with, and considering the way dbd works I would probably recommend just trying to learn as much as you can from these games as it’s not going to change anytime soon.

  • At the moment the game is far more balanced than it was three years ago, yet people seme to complain more than back then. One change I think they should make however which will help to even out killers strengths is by making maps smaller and rounded rather than rectangular. This will make it easier and viable to put pressure using weaker killers and at the same time make top tier killer’s map pressure less of a factor in what makes them strong. Then we might be able to look at killers through the same eye in terms of balanced and remove poorly designed ones like Freddy and deathslinger.

  • Honestly even though it is somewhat of a strong perk, no way is it unbalanced or broken. People are just exaggerating because they see an “insta heal” involved in it and havn’t bothered considering the downsides to the survivor. Let’s also remember that it is still way too early to make judgements on where something will sit in the meta, I mean cmon the Ptb hasn’t even been out for a full day yet.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Clown used properly is definitely mid tier. Most just don’t use the bottles properly. Thus why most think he’s rubbish.

Even if you had infinite haunted grounds as clown and downing people insanely fast, he would still loose a lot of games cause he has no map or gen pressure, just like bubba and legion.

  • Thank god someone finally realised Freddy is superb to most killers. I think you generally hit the nail on the head with this one. Definitely D worthy killers in the D tier and would mostly agree with the rest of the list, however I would swap hunters and billy and bring up pig, plague and demo.

  • Honestly I find it a relatively minor-nil problem. First of all, I rarely tunnel enough to actually encounter a potential DS and when I do, more often than not they will not have it. Even if I do get stunned by it, It doesn’t take too long to go down the survivor again, especially since now I know that I can tunnel that person as much as I want and get them out of the game if nescesary. Although some people will say that sometimes u get hit by DS even when not tunneling because you have been downing people fast, if your downing people at a rate like this than you are usually in a very solid position in the game and one DS isn’t really going to harm your pressure that much. On top of this, there is always the simple counter which is just to leave them on the ground which still adds pressure to other survivors as they have to go and pick up their team mate, and every noun then I will get a game with no obsession at all. So to summarise, due to the number of counters and it’s small impact if ran into, I personally find DS to be a relatively minor hinder compared to other things that survivors have access to such as toolboxes and keys.

  • Thank gosh I’m on OCE servers. We have one of the friendliest communities in dbd and most people try to play as fair and fun as possible.

  • Sorry but I’ve gotta say Mind breaker can be really good on stealth killers and highly mobile ones.

Most useless perks in my opinion would be:

    -déjà vu

    -territorial imperative

    -sole survivor

    -lightborn

    -no one left behind

personally i would say there are a lot more useless survivor perks than killer ones.

  • Honestly it’s nice seeing doctors over freddy’s and iri huntress’s. Doctor is in a good spot now for survivor and killer, so be careful what u wish for.

  • This is A huge misconception I find within the game. The problem isn’t gen speeds but rather the ability to pressure gens as a killer, and this comes down to map size. Large maps are extremely difficult to win with low-mid tier killers, and they also skew up results regarding how good every killer is, because high mobility killers will have far better results on larger maps, yet may do worse on smaller maps due to the low-mid tier killers being able to pressure gens and use their power more efficiently. If you watch a good killer player on a map like wreckers yard (which is a very balanced and fair map regarding size), you will see that they will be able to do far better and keep the gens going far slower than that if they were on a map such as the asylum. Ideally if maps were more around 9000km2 and circular shaped, then I could almost guarantee you that gen speeds would be far less of an issue.

  • For killer, nerf Freddy and his braindeadness. Then for survivor add a secondary objective to add to the survivor experience and make gens less frustrating for killer.
