ah yes, guess they have spine chill and just grab walk
thrilling counterplay.
More thrilling than guessing a killer has tinkerer in the pregame lobby and putting on SC

Haddonfield is extremely survivor sided anyhow, but only the inside gens have extreme Los blockers as long as you position correctly on gens. And even then you can usually position so you can see the stairs or are by the window.
Badham can be pretty bad, but it's all dependant on where the gens are.
Hawkins isn't that bad either, halfway gens are pretty safe due to pallets always being Nearby. The upstairs one is the only one that is affected by this. And even then most killers give up on this gen because it's a hassle to pressure those gens and upstairs ones.
Hawkins pallets are absolute trash though lol

Corner tech and its variations is the only major tech frequently used when top players go against each other.
CJ and dumb techs are ridiculously useless against experienced killers. Window tech is slightly better, but majority of good killers play around it. Locker tech is extremely annoying, but very map-dependant and not quite productive for the purpose of winning the game. Minor techs were either removed from the game (nurse tech, old tractor tech) or are not relevant overall (spirit tech).
I have no idea what "stupid" and "key/map" techs are.
Edit: if you consider J-flick a tech, it's another relevant one.
Stupid tech is when a killer breaks a pallet, you run into it, crouch and run back, causing them to look behind them and swing when it works.
Key/map tech is when you use them to lose collision, and you can essentially go through killers when they break a wall. Also helps for easier window techs.

Actually he was banned....he's back now but he was banned for a while and, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't sluzzy also unbanned now?
I do agree neither should be banned for their opinions, even if they are very biased to opposite sides.
Dunno, I haven’t seen Sluzzy in ages so I assumed they weren’t unbanned.

Probably because alot of pro survivor/ anti killer posts in this forum tend to be ridiculous to the point they look like they are trolling rather then making a serious discussion. Sluzzys post are a prime example of this.
Not saying that survivors have no issues to deal with because there are plenty of them like spirit, face camping etc, but so many posts like this one just make people not take them as seriously as they should. Especially when they then scream how killer bias everyone is
Sluzzy was literally banned but lord Tony wasn’t, how is that not blatant evidence of the community being killer sided? FYI I don’t think either should be banned.

You don't need wall hacks on most maps.
The only ones I can think of that it is hard to dodge is lerys,cornfields (a heavily survivor sided map anyhow) and the silent hill map.
Outside that you can literally just look around. It really isn't that hard on most maps. Your making a mountain out of a molehill.
Also tinkerer requires you to move effectively using Los blockers for it to be of any use. Your complaints about tinkerer aren't valid outside those 3 maps, plus it's only active for 30s max if I remember correctly. DH can be deadly on all maps, and doesn't require much skill to use.
You’ve forgotten Hawkins, badham, haddonfield all having heavy like of sight blockers

How is dead hard, a perk that has no activation requirements outside being injured (fairly easy to happen) and gives I frames, plus in a loop is uncounterable.
Tinkerer can be countered by looking around and smart placement on gens.
We don't care that it can't be avoided activating it, we care that it can't be countered.
Yeah I’ll just activate my wall hacks and see through buildings and walls to see when a killer is coming

Don't forget the fact that this is the forum and ppl in here only represent one part of the commuity.
I know that ppl with your/my opinion are rare, though they do exist.
It just gets boring. Any remotely pro survivor/anti killer post will be extremely controversial, but when it’s the other way around, it’s seemingly completely fine to have that opinion?
-
@DCh4rlie said:
Though all three perks are different. Yes, I do want all three of those nerfed/changed.
Funny of you to assume ppl don't want to. :)
Judging by the rest of the thread, I’d say I was right considering how angry they got! I’m fine with them all being nerfed, I use none regardless.

Maybe because the game is blatantly survivor sided?
Why can I 4k at red ranks reliably as a ######### killer then? I wonder if some people on here even play the game

people didn't upvote you because what you said (coup counters dead hard) is false. coup simply doesn't counter dead hard and it's one of the worst perks in the game. lol what's next, hoarder counters key droppers?
Coup does counter DH lol

Coup only gets 5 uses per game. Spine Chill will work all game. That’s why there’s a discrepancy in upvotes.
I
Already disproven. Perceptive killers will know when someone has spine chill, look at Otz, and be able to counter it.

Is this what you are after with your posts? Upvotes?
I am sure there are some sheep out there that will upvote your insane threads.
I feel like you want to be a Sluzzy/Lord tony so bad.....But fall short.
Not what I said at all. I make a completely fair comparison and suddenly because it doesn’t agree with your opinion, I’m just a troll account. Seriously, why is it so controversial to say anything is too strong on the killer side? But it’s complete consensus to say SWF is OP, half the killers need a buff, etc. This sub is so blatantly killer sided, which is very strange as much more people play survivor.
-
@Sonzaishinai said:
I mean tinkerer does have a counter.
Doing gens seperatly. If 2 tinkerers proc there is only one place the killer can go.
I'm sure there are examples from the killers perk list you can use but tinkerer really isn't one of them
How am I going to communicate that strategy to my solo queue teammates? Why are people only ever looking at the game from SWF POV, so annoying.

Whataboutism started with comparing an information perk with a several-extra-lives-per-trial perk.
How do you counter Tinkerer? Simple, play better and prey on the killer being too far away.
Yeah, that’s really helpful against nurse and blight…

Information, huh? Then try to explain how the killer is supposed to counter all the information sharing via comms in SWFs?
couldnt care less as a solo player

Because coup can be used only 5 times. Spine chill is always active
Spine chill won’t be active if the killer is smart enough to notice it and look away
-
You can tell how biased people are on here, people saying spine chill is a counter to DH get upvotes, but me saying coup counters dead hard, nothing lol
-
@chargernick85 said:
People who say there is a counter to Dead Hard.....You are right.
People who say there is a counter to Tinkerer.....You are right.
Sooooo what's the problem?
Let’s hear this magical way to counter tinkerer activating like there is for BBQ and discordance. Not doing gens?
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2441935#Comment_2441935
The Undetectable isn't the good part of Tinkerer, it's the information.
Yeah, exactly. It gives that on top of arguably better info than BBQ and discordance give, and that’s all they give.
-
@BasementDweller said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/274445/people-who-say-dead-hard-has-no-counter
I mean you can still see the killer(If the killer is on an open map), hear them(oni, demo, myers, pyramid head, etc.), and spine chill exists.
Coup de grace also exists, why don’t killers use it to counter dead hard then? Gens more often than not are in a building, behind a T&L wall, etc.
-
@Junylar said:
Spine Chill counters Tinkerer fine. SWF counters it even better.
Okay so killers should just start using coup to counter dead hard then, problem solved! You can’t call psychic prediction of what perks someone is going to use counter.
-
@BadMrFrosty said:
Dead hard does have a counter - the servers.
Yeah this is why I never use it

@CornHub said:
Those two perks don't even function the same way.
Doesn’t matter, the argument for changing DH is that it has no counter, neither does tinkerer.

your beloved killer is being played like 2%. He won't be missed as he was rarely played. Delusional survivor mains.
What are you even talking about lol? Stranger things is a very popular IP, especially compared to silent hill.

Seems strange to have just released a legendary for Steve and to have the license fall apart so soon after

I am still super confused to why the Chapter is getting removed. I thought they said that they had a good relationship with Netflix. They even got the model for Demogorgon from the show. I hope this means we get like a part 2 chapter with something new from Season 4. I am really sad right now.
I’m guessing they raised the price it costs to use the license, and BHVR wasn’t willing to pay for it. Can’t think of any other reason, as it’s good promotion for Netflix.

It would have to be something that still fits well, like the hunger games.

Can I ask why you think Nemesis is the most boring option? Because when people usually compare Nemesis with Mr. X I always think that X is even more boring. They'd have even less to work with.
However ye, aside from AI zombies, they kinda missed the mark with Nemesis for me. They could bring some different mechanics but he just feels like a mish mash of older killers. (And I know this sounds crazy ... But why not the rocket launcher? Limited use but could be fun)
I just prefer X’s design. Neither are great though

Two different companies own Horizon Zero Dawn and The Last of US
Horizon is owned by Guerilla games
And The Last of US is owned by Naughty Dog which is owned by Sony
Same chance as Fatal Frame getting in, So not likely
Guerrila games is also owned by Sony?
-
Every nemesis I play against seems to use sloppy for some reason lol

Not really a good idea to climb the ranks so fast, every killer can win at rank 1 without camping. Some are harder than others, but all is possible with enough effort

In my opinion, FNaF should come to DBD - but not right now. It's not a high-enough priority license in my eyes, as much as I would love Springtrap in this game, and others like Candyman, Pinhead and Pennywise deserve representation much sooner.
Then again, SAW was one of the first few licensed chapters, so anything's possible. I just hope BHVR save Springtrap for after a few more fan-demanded characters are introduced. Hopefully people will be less vehemently against it by then.
Saw is one of the most iconic horror franchises ever though?

No, camping killers every game every time MMR is on lol. I’d genuinely consider quitting if MMR becomes permanent if it stays this bad, which it probably will since it’s been tried 100 times and had major issues every time.

Okay so this seems like pallet validation doing it's thing- the sever registered the stun before the hit and thus it was nulified.
As for what happened with the teleport, I'll try my best to explain it:
- Server registers Meg is inside the pallet drop zone, as are you.
- Meg drops the pallet on the side with you there, effectively forcing you to get stunned. Your position on your end remains inside the drop zone.
- The hit then is registered and nulified by the server, which determines you were stunned before the hit.
- Your position is then updated on your screen to match this dropped pallet- as you cannot be within the drop zone due to there now being a pallet there, the server will tell your game you can't stand there and so your game moves you to the closest side- which because of your lunge is now on the other side of the pallet.
I believe this is what happened, though my computer science GCSE and I don't get along very well so I could easily be mistaken.
Unfortunately, the first part seems like a necessary evil of pallet validation, though I think the teleporting part could definitely be changed.
That’s Zarina

You didn’t hit her

Not at all. They picked the most boring option for killer, and made him the least interesting killer in the game to play against. Then, they added Jill, who is such an uninspired pick. Lastly, they added a map which looks great, but is awful to play on for both sides. One of the worst dlcs ever for sure, and I’d say even worse than a binding of kin and all kill.
-
I’d get them to farm on pallets as proof first
-
Looks like they’d have been very fun to play against ;)
