I've known enough people to not judge them on their worst act. It kind of astounds me how much people seem to think that everyone has the same worldview, lived the same lives, had the same experiences, agrees on the same things, were treated equitably by the same people, never had to deal with being harmed by someone unlike themselves, etc.

Is discrimination bad? Sure. So is trying to tell others that they have to subscribe to your own set of morals to be a worthy human being in your eyes. I've met enough people in my life to have learned not to judge them solely by their worst features.

Lmao did you really just say that discrimination and calling out people for being racist/homophobic etc are on the same level?

  • 40+ survivors and killers later and no queer characters yet is a completely valid reason to be upset. Our desire to be represented has no negative impact on straight people, so there should be no disagreement.

Not to minimize your points with a brief summary in return, but I need to focus on something in particular: First, do remember that I don't approve of my friend's comments (nor many things about him, for that matter, though he has a good side as well as a repulsive one). My argument was not that he should be free to speak hateful things to people, because that would fall under the umbrella of using his hate to harm others. If, to use a different example, I had a friend or family member tell me that they hated Jews, or Hispanics, or whomever else, I wouldn't immediately turn my back on them. I would ask them why, try to understand things from their perspective. If I felt that there was any room for reasonable discourse, I might also point out where I felt they were being wrong or unfair. But at the end of the day, if I knew that he kept his hateful thoughts on the inside and didn't outwardly treat anyone differently, I feel that it wouldn't be my place to try to convince him to change who he is. He has a right to be who he is, and feel how he feels, based on his own personal life experiences. No one should be required to think a certain way just because it's popular, or because more people think it's wrong than right.

That said, yes, if I knew that someone was openly acting in such a fashion, we'd have words. The Christian friend and I have had words, I assure you. A great very many words.

There’s no reasonable discourse to be had around why someone thinks discrimination is okay.

ds at endgame is a gaurented escape no matter what the killer does

The game doesn’t always go to endgame, you know? Killers have a very strong perk for the endgame too, NOED, which often can shut down any kind of save if the totem is not found. DS is fine how it is.

For my next post being directed towards that chainsaw bro, I need to make sure I should look into him first

So here is a big question, what is all of Billy's issues without needing to remove Overheat

Whats all of Billy's issues when removing Overheat (Add-ons out of the question as Billy has overheat add-ons)

Billy’s main issue right now is that a vast majority of his add ons are garbage. Other than like the lopra chains, most of them rarely do much. Some of the old add ons needed nerfs, for sure, but why were so many completely removed?

So as most of you know that throughout the years killers has the short end of the stick getting nerf after nerf so surviors could teabag and say gg ez at the exit gate cough cough hillbillly, freddy, demogorgon, ghostface, pig, these killer were balanced but survior main complained and these character got nerfed and surviors oh boy lets see luck break ds , borrowed time by the way if a person have ds a get downed they can get a easy escape no matter what i had match where i downed a laurie she was crawling for exit picked her up ds and easy escape and undying came out which was balanced because it was a bandaid for bad totem spawns and keep ruin for longer plus if surviors had maps and or autohaven worst place for totems u would be left with only two perks and no gen defense the entire game i play survior as well but come on surviors getting easier and easier just by killers getting nerfs so surviors can have fun and killers no they dont deserve fun

With SWF, yes. Otherwise, absolutely not

What was the point? Well, there wasn't one.

Old Freddy never required a full rework to begin with. It doesn't take much to understand that he only needed a few buffs and QoL improvements, yet the devs completely ruined his identity by giving him a generic power.

Agreed. Especially disappointing for the DBD nightmare fans. Current Freddy’s power almost has nothing to do with the films/lore other than falling asleep which isn’t very important now.

  • I only use DS these days with unbreakable, at least that combo is still strong.

  • Relating to this dlc, why have they not buffed Quentin’s perks as part of this update? Seems like the perfect time to do it. Wake up at the very least needs a complete rework, it’s terrible.

I just hope performance doesn't get worse on console. I know there's going to be plenty of bugs, hopefully no additional uncleansable totem bugs that don't get fixed for months.

I was wondering how the previous generation consoles will hold up in the long term with these changes.

  • I’m glad the slowdown add ons are gone, but they could’ve been a lot more creative with what they replaced them with. To keep them useful, they could have at least made the puddles and dream snares cause status effects.

  • It's so bloody annoying when you save a survivor from the hook, and they've gone afk lol

  • I'm excited overall for sure. I feel bad for killers main with regards to lucky break, but I doubt it will stay the same as PTB. Other than lucky break, I think all the changes are positive.

  • I agree completely with the video. Instead of keeping any personality old Freddy had, they basically just gave him everything. Some stealth, some anti-loop, some map pressure with the teleporting, some slow-down, etc. Was incredibly lazy and only looking at how to make him viable, but now they're nerfing him, so what was the point?

  • New Jake is super attractive

    Quentin deserves more love though

  • I think lucky break is going to get nerfed to 10/20/30 seconds honestly, so it can only be used once per game and only for a limited amount of time.

  • I agree with this, but you also have to consider the fact that killers such as Plague counter survivor items. It's not just a killer issue.

  • Anti-altruistic perks such as agitation and starstruck can limit how well SWF can do.

  • The game is largely fair in solo queue games, so it's tough to nerf SWF since that would likely result in playing solo becoming unviable.

  • For a sequel, I think this would be a must. Don't think it would be good for the current game though, especially since it would probably result in something like Meg receiving something amazing and Ace getting something stupid like a passive 3% extra luck lol

  • Trapper absolutely needs a buff. Unlike other killers such as Myers, Legion, etc who I feel need a complete rework, Trapper would be super simple to buff. Give him an extra trap to carry as base kit, to start with.

A suggestion I've been thinking about is that when a survivor steps on a trap, he'd receive a 5% or 10% haste buff for a couple seconds. This would give him a little more map pressure, and potentially allow him to snowball.

  • Probably in the update after the one coming today

  • It's honestly quite disappointing that we still don't have a playable queer character, especially since the RE chapter won't be changing that. Hopefully soon!

  • I wonder if they would ever make an exhaustion perk related to flash light blinding the killer. Of course, it would be useless without a flashlight, but it wouldn't be the first perk to basically require an item to make use out of.
