I don't think its the best perk, although it really good its not the best
Fair enough. I think there’s a case for Spine Chill, Sprint Burst, Dead Hard, Iron Will, or Borrowed. It ultimately comes down to personal preference, but I’d say that objectively some combination of these perks is probably going to get the best results for the most part.
-
Ash and Bill are licensed characters, not really a fair comparison
-
It’s an absolutely garbage perk. Even when blind you still get a notification of where someone is hooked. You might think it’s good on someone like Pig, but you can still see her boxes whilst blind.
The fact that blindness isn’t even the worst status effect is funny though
-
I heard they were planning on improving blight for consoles
-
There should honestly be more ways to get survival points. I’d like if opening chests counted for survival, rather than objectives which is already an easy category to get Max in.
-
From what I see, Billy is probably the most popular killer to play against on here

Make it 2, it's really great on nurse too tbh
Nurse makes the second best use of it for sure, but I rarely see nurses run it. Hard to justify using it for one of the four slots.
-
It wasn’t just the slowdown add ons, it was them combined with slowdown perks and this led to games lasting a ridiculous amount of time, even when survivors won.
Legion have the same issue, games with them last an eternity because of the mending.
-
Stridor is already a weird perk since it’s great on one killer, and basically useless on the rest.
-
How is this possible though?
-
Am I the only one that really likes her voice?

I might be the only one but... Nurse. I love going against her.
As long as it’s not a nurse that wins in 30 seconds, she’s super fun to play against. Likely since the counter play to her is different from everyone else.
-
I’m predicting that DBD will enter a new ‘golden’ era when the Resident Evil chapter comes out. There’s a lot of hype for it, especially if we get multiple survivors.

Can I ask who is the weakest killer?
I see clown and trapper thrown around a lot, but clown downs survivors faster than trickster and trapper is pretty powerful with game knowledge and good reads on survivors (imo).
Trapper for me is the weakest. By the time he’s fully set up, 2 gens will fly and his snowball is much weaker than hag’s. He also takes extreme skill to get good results from, and the average red rank killer will struggle.
He has to go out of his way to collect his traps too, which are based on RNG and can be in places you’d never go otherwise.

On the killer side I mostly play Freddy and Pig.
My experiences against other pig players havent been the best, because I feel like a lot of them to tunnel people who already have a trap on, which doesn't leave you much to do.
I feel like people were mostly overreacting to how boring Freddy is to go against. No one liked the slowdown addons, but a lot of Freddy players dont use those addons. I find it quite entertaining to go against fake pallets as well.
I wish fake pallets were base kit, they’re a lot more interactive.
I’ll never understand the pigs who go for people with a trap, like the whole point of the traps is to take them out of the game and have a 1v3 for a while.

Still I dont think people will complain that much is she really is the Killer
I think she’s an interesting character so I would not complain

I forgot to mention I also loveeee playing against Demos. Even when latency causes their hitboxes to be extremely off, I can't help but love him XD
Demo’s are so cute

I dislike playing against every stealth killer. I used to find them fun when I was a noob and "omg scratched mirror so scary EEK!" but once you start to get better at the game and put a lot of hours into it, stealth killers are nothing but boring, gimmicky and tedious. sorry, not sorry. They're fun to play AS though.
I went against a camping scratched mirror Myers on Hawkins yesterday, was not fun at all. Myers’ add ons really need a rework, especially the mori one.
-
If gen times were increased, you’d see an extreme sharp increase in killer wins. Would be especially brutal at rank 20-10 where survivors already struggle.

Easily the most fun killers to play against are ones where you get to do a lot of mind games and also looping.
So killers like: Oni, Blight, Billy, Bubba and Huntress (when she's not laggy) are all REALLY fun to play against.
For me, All of the stealth killers (yep, every single one of them) and killers that use traps (trapper, hag, Freddy) and Deathslinger are all extremely boring and frustrating to play against. Spirit is another obvious one that is so unfun to play against it's almost obnoxious.
For me, spine chill is a requirement to enjoy playing against stealth killers most of the time, which is unfortunate. Also, breaking GF out of his stealth is the most annoying mechanic ever.

Billy, Trapper and Freddy.
I’d love to hear your take on why you enjoy playing against Freddy, genuinely interested to hear someone’s perspective on why he’s fun
-
I hate to say it, but hag is definitely one of the least enjoyable for me as well.

Jk. She’s the most unfun to go against. I like playing against oni and blight though
For sure. It is painful when Oni gets a hit on someone 10 seconds in lol.
-
I feel like if the reworked Lucky Break shows anything, survivors desperately need more perks as good as sprint burst, dead hard, unbreakable, etc to improve variety.
-

Spirit. Definitely Spirit.
Well, I’m glad someone enjoys her 🤭

@FatallyIconic said:
oh ok. He still seems really weak to me. His 1v1 potential is good but only on loops with low walls, he can throw over. Maybe it's just me needing to "git gud" but he still seems lowest tier against decent survivors.
He’s still low tier for sure. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’ll get more buffs in a couple months. At least right now, I think trapper is once again the weakest killer.
-
@DawnMad said:
Most enjoyable is Blight, mainly because I play him a lot and I like to learn by facing him. He is also a very versatile killer with a lot of mindgames from both parties.
Killer I hate most is Deathslinger. He literally has no gameplay, that's it.
Blight was another one I considered putting on my list for sure. Definitely one of the best killers they’ve come out recently that has a good balance of being fun, but also strong.
-
I’ve heard issues that there are a lot of collision issues in the new reworked maps.
-
They added his buffs to live during the PTB. He’s been buffed for a while now, and is no longer the weakest killer imo.

It also goes to show how game warping DS was given that the chance of it existing in a game completely changes how one side plays.
Absolutely. It really wasn’t healthy for the game. Honestly, I think that going in a locker should disable DS, and healing yourself shouldn’t, but it is what it is.
-
Calling it now, survivors will be Claire and Leon, killer will be Mr X. Seems like the most obvious choices since the RE2 remake was a lot more popular than 3.
-
Matchmaking has been completely fine for me as a red rank survivor lately. The lowest teammate/killer I’ve had is like rank 7.
-
I don’t feel obligated to bring decisive anymore, as usually I’m too scared that there won’t be an obsession. This is definitely fair considering the DS nerf.
-
RE2 and 3 remakes aren’t exactly ‘old’ games. Mr X is an extremely well known character.
-
Doing gens are about the only thing Meg’s are good for honestly
-
I can’t deny that this made me laugh, good job!
I doubt she’ll be the killer, but she would make a great skin for the plague.
-
Hopefully one day her lore will be expanded in a tome
-
I would not be remotely excited for a Chucky dlc.
-
Good time for BT to be in the shrine, hopefully more survivors use it.

I did play both side and the issue is kinda ez to see. It easy to rank up as survivor until purple rank. so what happened is that most survivor are in purple/red rank. Killer past rank 15 get match with these survivor due to the lack of low ranked one. Meaning you can either get these baby survivor who got carried by the ranking system or the guys with 3000+ hours. It also when killer stop noob stomping since survivor start to know how to focus on gens and run basic loops you need extremely good knowledge as killer at that point to do better than 2k unless you run good addons or survivor screw up badly. Even if you still bad as survivor 3 other random people can carry you.
so tldr killer got a worst time progressing ''mid game/rank'' then survivor due to survivor being in a team.
Getting a 2k is good though? Killers shouldn’t get 3 or 4 kills all the time. If you kill 2 red rank survivors, that’s a solid result.
-
My advice would be to switch over to survivor for a while, seeing the other perspective really helps when playing the other side. This isn’t just a killer sided issue, it’s very easy to rank up as survivor too and get destroyed by killers with thousands of hours.
One of my first red rank games as survivor was against Otzdarva, safe to say it didn’t go well for our solo queue team lol.
-
This doesn’t seem like a huge deal, looks funny though
-
The swamp desperately needs a rework, it’s so unpleasant to look at and disgustingly dark.

I meant her perks. She is so selfish in game.
Oh, I see. If she takes aggro with object and can loop well, it can help the team.

Windows of Opportunity shouldn't have a cooldown either if Zanshin Tactics was buffed. But we know which side is catered to.
Survivors can actually interact with pallets though. Windows gives much more value to survivors than zanshin ever will.
-
Lady D getting her power from the survivor’s blood would be a cool mechanic, but it’s already been done by the Oni.
-
It’s a crutch perk that usually results in securing at least one kill, and potentially avoiding a depip. I wish the killer had to do something to use NOED, rather than just getting it by default. The speed boost it gives is absolutely unnecessary though.
-
They seriously need to not have half of dead dawg saloon be grass with almost no gens and no pallets/loops. Feels like the map wasn’t fully completed, and it’s extremely killer sided.
-
In the first game today that I hit struggle, I was spamming the button to stay alive, until I realised that was gone. It’s honestly a godsend, it got so tedious.
-
The twins are destined for a complete rework down the line, I’m sure. The only reason they won’t do it now is because they’re a new killer, and it wouldn’t reflect well on them completely changing a killer they just released.
