I wonder if their original power was similar to the Twins, where instead of 2 people, you would be able to control all members of the Legion, and park them at various parts around the map. Then this maybe caused too much issues with camping, body blocking, coding issues etc so it was scrapped and then used later on in the Twins which was a buggy mess at launch. Random theory, but kind of fun to think about.

2 reasons.
For Nurse: Learning is hard, for that there is not so much good Nurses.
For Blight: He get changes new, people still learning him. When people get good as him, i can see "Blight is op, nerf!"
There are different plenty of people good at Blight. He’s been in the game for quite a while at this point, he’s one of the most dangerous killers at red rank to win with multiple gens left.

You know what's also really boring to go against?
Every survivor running dead hard+iron will basically every game.
I can go many games in a row without seeing Iron Will, it’s not as common as many other perks. There would be more perk variety if they would buff weak perks, instead of nerfing the good ones. This argument doesn’t really hold up when every killer is using ruin or pop, bbq, tinkerer, sloppy

@Dabihwow said:
Dude if the killer is S tier, then survivors will whine for a nerf
Not even true, nobody on here is asking for a nerf to Nurse or Blight
-
Blight and potentially Hag are S tier too, not as good as Nurse/Spirit, but they’re very overwhelming. A decent hag will destroy any solo queue team without breaking a sweat.
-
Playing survivor and dealing with terrible teammates is at least harder than Spirit/Freddy/Wraith/Cannibal
-
Feels like Spine Chill is almost a requirement to enjoy most of the killers these days
-
We should get 2x BP per game. The grind is overwhelming for people joining and having 20+ killers and survivors to level.

Sounds like a skill issue :neutral:.
Yes, totally a skill issue when I love playing against killers who are much stronger than wraith. Do y’all not have anything better to do than be rude because some of us don’t like a killer? You can disagree without being a smartass.
By this logic, old ruin was fine for bullying low ranks since they can’t hit great skill checks. I’m not bad at the game, but even if I was, it wouldn’t really be relevant. They should cater to the casual players, not the sweaty tournament players.

Your original post. You say you wish they would give his cloak a cool down. Or give him something else to use in chase. A reason to stay uncloaked. And that you find it frustrating and boring. And my point is none of that needs to happen.
You're not going to like going against every killer. And they don't need changed in some way because of that.
You’re right, they should never change any killers.
-
Oni’s blood sucking power + demo’s shred attack would be a great vampire power, if it wasn’t already done

They never asked for a nerf 🤣
Stop demonizing survivors.
If anything, I’d love if wraith was stronger than he is now, just more enjoyable to go against. I’d only say he’s just barely B tier right now.
-
No one left behind: Literally just make this perk activate when the gates are powered, like Hope. Problem solved.
Mettle of man: Remove the downside of this perk, where the killer gets to see your aura. Totally unnecessary for such a niche perk.
Sole Survivor: Give the benefit of the perk when your team gets hooked, rather than killed. Still would be pretty trash, but better than before.
Self-preservation: Make it map wide and last for 30 seconds. A cooldown for this would be fine.
Red Herring: Make it activate when you touch another gen, rather than a locker. This allows you to be productive while using the perk, and still distracting the killer.
Solidarity: I’d say you could bump the 50% conversion rate to 90%, maybe even 100%. It’s already a niche scenario for it to work, so the effect should be strong.
Wake Up: This might sound extreme, but I think the % could go from 15% to 100% speed when opening gates. The fact that this perk only impacts exit gates is already bad enough, but opening it in half the time could make it alright.
Premonition: Should give the user some kind of benefit when the perk is activated, so that it’s not just a way worse version of Spine Chill.
Distortion: Give survivors an extra token when safely unhooking a teammate. Encourages altruism, and makes the perk more dynamic.
Breakdown: Could also break the two closest hooks to the one you get rescued from. The time would have to be cut down from 180 seconds though.
Just some ideas

What is this argument? We should never be allowed to complain about frustrating killer mechanics? lol

Just as strong? Honey, please. Nurse is on a whole nother level
Without add ons? For sure. Spirit’s add ons absolutely put her on par with Nurse though, and Spirit literally doesn’t care about maps. Nurse usually doesn’t either, but she’s going to have a tougher time in Lery’s than Spirit will.

I also play at Rank 1.
I struggle with Spirit, even with Stridor, because of bad FPS and my own hearing issue.
She's easier to play, but she certainly isn't the easiest.
She's one adjustment away from being fine.
I mean, personally also I think it would take to make Spirit passively appear while she phases. This would be a lot more balanced, as it would nerf the standing still mind game and allow the survivors to have some idea of where she is. Would also be pretty creepy to see her getting closer to you when you see her every five seconds or so.

@Zenro said:
He is definitely stronger than before and his lunge is threatening. I personally think he is in a really good spot right now. I like facing him because Ive gotta be more aware of my position than normal so its a more involved game than normal killers that give you plenty of warnings to when they are coming and can just be looped into infinity. Which Wraith can definitely be looped and countered just not the same as most killers.
I’m genuinely glad you enjoy him. I’m not trying to start an anti-Wraith party, as I love his design, lore, etc. I’m simply wondering what the consensus is on him right now, and sharing my perspective. It’s quite aggravating taking time to write out my issues with him, and being met with extreme hostility. It’s a discussion forum, wouldn’t be needed if everyone agreed on everything.
I much prefer your type of response, explaining why you enjoy going against him. It’s totally personal preference. For example, some people hate going against Myers, but I really don’t mind him.

That's a gross exaggeration.
Spirit doesn't turn a bad player into a 4K machine.
It’s just my opinion. When I played killer, I would struggle to get a single kill sometimes, but as Spirit I would never get less than 2 kills, and most of the time 3/4. This is at red ranks btw. She’s very easy to play, not sure how this is debatable.

Nor am I but totally feels like no matter what killer mains assume you want them nerfed I mean I love wraith he was my killer main for a good while but I just took to survivor for a less stressful game play but as survivor it just feels like all wraith abuse the speed boost that coming out of invisibility gives him.
You just can’t win. I’ve mained killer in the past, I’ve seen both sides.
-
@DecisiveDwight said:
Thought it was just me that felt this tbh I enjoy playing as him but God matches against him drive me to suicide on hook or in a chase just stopping in my tracks knowing all the safe loops are gone and he's gonna get you anyway.
Feels like having this opinion is a personal attack to killer mains lol. They can’t understand that not enjoying playing against a killer means you think they should be nerfed. I’m not advocating for a nerf to him whatsoever.

It's the new Survivor buzzword! Want a Killer nerfed? Claim he's 'boring' or 'unfun' and a danger to 'the health of the game'!
That way, it's not because you don't like the Killer, no! You're looking out for the game when you ask for nerfs to Killers you don't like...I mean, are 'boring'!
Thanks for not reading my post. I mentioned MULTIPLE times that I do not think Wraith should be nerfed, he absolutely ######### needed a massive buff to his base kit. My opinion is that they could have done that without simply buffing his numbers. Look at the doctor rework.

Spirit is fine. Survivors have some information, not none. Stridor is a perk, counter it with a perk, Iron Will. Spirit is fine.
Stridor counters Iron Will, it doesn’t work the other way around.

99% of survivor players complaining about Spirit? Where's your data? Most people enjoy Nurse? Where's your data? Spirit is a breeze to play? That's your opinion.
You have no data, you only have your emotions. This is the behavior of a snowflake. Snowflakes don't respond to reason and rational thought, so I'll stop now. Have a pleasant day.
You’re the one acting emotionally, crying because I think a killer in a game has balancing issues. Am I supposed to do a survey with thousands of responses asking how people feel about Spirit? I’d genuinely like to find anyone who believes that Nurse isn’t a popular killer on this forum.
We are literally on a discussion forum, we don’t need scientific evidence to validate our opinions or perspectives. Quite frankly, if your opinion is that Spirit is challenging to play, you’re entitled to your wrong opinion.

Anyone else feel like Wraith is the new Freddy?
And no, I don't mean that in the "Freddy OP" way, I mean it in the way that a lot of people pick him because he's easy and they all play the exact same way everytime. Seems like everyone dropped Freddy and went to Wraith
I can't tell you how many bamboozle wraiths I've come across lately who all have the exact same style and gameplay, similiar to how every Freddy would run swing chains jump rope. I wouldn't mind so much, if they committed to chases but most of them don't. They just spam cloak/uncloak most of the game
This is all based on my personal experience, so it may differ and I respect the differing opinions others may have, I don't dislike wraith nor do I think he's too strong I just don't enjoy this particular type of wraith playstyle
I went against three wraiths in a row, and yeah, he takes very little skill to play these days.

Any killer can be boring. They've all been called boring by at least one person on the forum.
Okay sure, but that doesn’t mean every survivor play is calling all the killers boring. This is just my perspective, as I am extremely happy to go against most of the killers. Nurse, Billy, Oni, Demo, Myers, Huntress, etc are a lot more enjoyable than Wraith. And this is from someone who used to love playing against him, again, he needed a buff, I just don’t think it should’ve been as simple as making his numbers better.
-
@GannTM said:
I feel like this is about strength because he literally has the exact same play style as he used to have but he’s just a much better version of his former self.
Yes, it’s caused him to be a very badly designed killer that gets free hits constantly
-
@Phasmamain said:
His play at pallets is okay imo since it’s an actual 50/50. Someone like spirit is like an 80/20
I’d agree on certain loops, but when you only have time to run to the tiniest loop around a rock, he gets a guaranteed hit. It leaves the survivor in a lose/lose, as his speed makes it very hard to get anywhere.

Where's your data that this is the state of Spirit? Oh, there's no data other than your frustration? Rework Spirit when all the survivor second chance perks get nerfed.
Pretty sure 99% of survivor players complaining about Spirit is a sign that she’s awful to play against. Most people on here enjoy Nurse, who is just as strong, as her chases are much more interesting. I’ve played Spirit quite a lot in the past, and she is a breeze to play, you are guaranteed multiple survivors dead every game, in the worst case scenario.
And they already did nerf the survivor second chance perks lol. DS was just nerfed, which is also a nerf to unbreakable. Not sure what other perks you feel are so badly in need of a nerf? Are you saying Iron Will, BT, Sprint Burst, Dead Hard need a nerf? They already are reliant on survivors using them well, or the killer making poor decisions in BT.
-
@ProfGameAndTalk said:
Spirit doesn't need a re-work. She's fine.
It’s ‘fine’ that someone can do terrible on all but one killer, but 4k with that one because she doesn’t require an ounce of skill the play? It’s fine that she has no counter without Spine Chill?
-
The old grab animation that took like 10 seconds instead of being almost instant
-
Sloppy butcher, Franklin’s, save the best for last, Hex: The Third Seal
All Bubba players please run this
-
Demi is another creator that I really enjoy.
I used to watch a lot of Monto, but he said some really disgusting things so I’m not into him anymore
-
I can’t remember what it was called, but there was an Otz video where he put like six traps on one hill and they kept stepping into it which was really funny
-
Also, in the endgame chat, the Claudette mockingly asked Noob what he was doing the whole time lol
-
Bloodlust level 1 I can understand existing, but the further tiers just should not be in the game. It needs to be capped, stop punishing survivors for playing well and encouraging killers to get into five minute chases.

Spirit's add-ons aren't really going to be nerfed. Number one: Both of her pink add-ons are at most mediocre. The first one: Mother Daughter Ring allows you to gain a extreme speed boost however with a deathly cost that if your not careful of could cost you the entire game: no scratch marks while phasing. With the fathers glasses it is sloppy basically. If you run perks that overrule bleeding then your fine. Number TWO: The add-ons dont need a nerf and if they do please explain. Number THREE: In order to counter her yanking you off the gen with that speed boost all you have to do is lift your hand off the button when you hear her iconic moaning/gasping noise. (It is not hard, I mean you can hear her noises) NUMBER FOURRR: Just be extra cautious with her. You load into a game and you see spirit you just have to cope with it. This IS coming from a spirit main that is experienced as well as a survivor main. Spirits Add-Ons dont really need a nerf. Theyre just fine.
Spirit main that thinks the mother daughter ring is mediocre? lol
-
Quite frankly, if anything thinks the tombstone add ons are fair or just ‘survivor mains complaining’, idk what to tell you. It’s a stupid add on, and you can have strong add ons (such as Huntress hatchet windup time or Hag extended teleport distance) that aren’t totally bullshit.
-
@HollowsGrief said:
This just seems like a list of things you want nerfed not stuff you think will actually be nerfed. Honestly I see no issues with any of the add ons you listed, none of them are oppressive and this might come as a shock to you but it's actually okay for killers to have strong add ons that do more than +1% on some dumb thing no one cares about.
I can want something to be nerfed, as well as thinking it will be. They aren’t unconnected.
-
I went against both Plague and Twins today. I see Plague every couple days at most.
-
Also, a reminder that for years, Spirit’s duration add ons have been glitched and also give a bonus of a much faster recovery. She’s disgustingly strong in every way.
-
@Mister_xD said:
Nurse i'd say
she has like one or two Add Ons that actually buff her, everything else is either just useless, very gimmicky (= on the verge of being useless) or a straight downgrade
I didn’t put her on here since her recharge add ons are pretty great, and at least with her, she doesn’t need the best add ons to dominate.
-
@Northener1907 said:
Freddy. Black Box is useless and joke. Loud add-ons wont work for Freddy. I am playing as Freddy for 4 years and i never needed Stridor. And they gave us Stridor add-ons. Pretty good job.
The loud add ons were so random honestly? It has nothing to do with Freddy really, they’ll never understand that for the most part, chase add ons are easily the best, and everything else is a bad gimmick.

There's just as many potatoe killers are red ranks as there are survivors. If you're getting a noticeable head start. I'm coming at an angle.
I agree with that, but I don’t think a 1 in 1,000 killer outplaying SC makes the killer any worse. We aren’t talking about competitive.
-
@BrokenSouI said:
Not against good killers, no. Just because you've only seen otz do it. Doesn't mean good smart killers don't come at an angle if they know you have spine chill. It doesn't really counter wraith...Again coming at a angle..Or the fact a cloaked wraith can just move fast and catch you fast for the hit either way.
Yes it can counter Myers and Ghost Face since they HAVE to look at you for their power.
I mean, speaking from personal experience, I have never had a killer try to fool spine chill. This is at red rank too.
-
@Bonquiqui414 said:
I honestly think it should be toned down a bit because it completely counters stealth killers and it outclasses premonition in every way possible
I’d rather premonition got buffed than SC be nerfed. A lot of people complain about the lack of perk variety, but nerfing the best perks will only make it worse. It would be a lot better if perks in general were improved for both sides, than have them be butchered.
-
@Moundshroud said:
I don't know if it is the BEST Perk but it is an auto-include for me. I use it to counter Spirit primarily, but it is like Sloppy Butcher in that you always get a solid return on it in your list. There is never a match where you don't get valuable information and a head start out of it. Compared to many Perks that may or may not even come into play, it is golden.
It’s a perk that I feel naked without honestly
