I'm pretty sure it's just the highest of the rank color below your current one. So from 1 to 4, you should go to rank 5.
-
Is VR Dbd a thing yet? Might as well go with the whole skyrim port experience.
-
Seeing that exposed status always reminds me that I left something on the camp fire and I need to get to before it burns.
-
Well, no. You can crouch to move through the lasagna without getting affected by it. I was wondering if you can do a similar thing like holding crouch when getting unhooked to stop a hag trap from triggering to avoid being tormented.
-
I wonder if holding crouch while getting released does anything.
-
If you dont have any map knowledge as a Nurse, you're just going to end up grinding your face on random props or in random locations that do nothing for you.

Even running Small Game, Trapper did well IF the player really understood how to play the character. Trapper requires time to set things up properly, and a lot of folks just can't make themselves commit to that time, because it can be stressful to see 2 and even 3 gens getting done and you're still setting up. Trapper doesn't really even get started until the latter part of the mid-game, and I've seen some amazing Trappers who didn't even start hooking until all but one gen was left. Trapper is one of the Killers requiring the most thought and the most strategy to play well.
Small Game was never really good at preventing someone from hitting a trap when in a hurry (such as in a chase). Why? Because it was never that accurate - you knew there was a trap somewhere ahead of you, but you had no idea exactly where because of its detection cone. If you were in a chase, because you were running, by the time you heard the sound, if you were unlucky enough and the trap was directly in your path, you'd most likely already had hit the trap before you could even think about changing direction (especially since the only "safe" direction not trapped was back the way you came, which would mean running into the arms of the Killer chasing you).
What it DID help with, was avoiding traps when not in a hurry, and also having a chance at disarming a trap you came across which might save someone later.
I think they're talking about this version. It was pretty nasty back when Trapper was the only killer that could counter infinites... well, when the survivors didn't run around and break all your traps.

it's no more cheating than using discord.

The only thing I can think of for Blight is kicking up your sensitivity and using one of those analog stick extenders.

sometimes I wonder if this game would be better if we deleted exhaustion and slowdown perks.
-
I feel like we're at a point where we're just making up stuff.

IMO, Deathslinger is more consistent than Huntress, but lacks the snow ball potential. With deathslinger, it doesnt matter how good the survivor is, dodging a 40 m/s spear with no wind up is near impossible compared to hiking the hatchet ,* deep breath* HUWAHH!!
-
I thought that was the best way of playing them. Otherwise, its m1 Charlotte doing m1 things like chasing around a pallet like a dog for 2 loops for the whole game.
-
Like I get the strategy, cleansing immediately at inconvenient fountains to reset all of her corrupted ones, but it requires that everyone is on the same page and knows how to loop a pallet worshiping ranged killer.
-
The reason I don't like MYC is because, more often then not, it just lead to you tunneling the guy that was just on the hook. You go back, the unhooker immediately leaves, they split and the injured guy is a lot easier to track. This change isn't really going to change that scenario IMO, but at least tell you what character to look out for, though that benefit falls flat when you have duplicates of survivors running around.
But situations like this should be a little easier to deal with now that BT is global.

maybe 20% is a decent nerf
I'd rather just have it thrown out all together seeing as in this version, you wouldn't be able to actively wake yourself up at all. One of the things that was incredibly boring about old Freddy IMO was the cycle of:
Find a survivor, they run immediately in some random direction once they hear the lullaby, wait 7 seconds to do anything, they fall asleep. If the killer leaves to sleep other survivors, you blow up a gen and wake up, then they either come back and do the whole thing over again or finally commit to a chase. It was just really long and really uneventful for both sides.
And this doesn't include the gen perks we have now that can be stacked on top of it that could be even more into overkill territory. My hope for Freddy was making him into a more faster trap based killer. Like him being able to toggle through all of his abilities, but have separate meaningful cooldown/resources on each of them so you can't just spam them. That way you could set up fake pallets here, puddles there, and teleport to herd survivors into them.
-
I honestly do not want to see the 50% generator/heal penalty while a sleep come back.
-
Killer is more stressful, but survivor is more depressing.
-
My thing is that survivors are just skins, I just play as a different character/killer, dump point in them, and never touch them again. Also, I nearly have every perk on my Jake and Nea, and I'm not really looking forward to redoing that whole thing on other survivors.

So how does the new OoO work, exactly?
The killer sees you every 30 seconds, but do you see them only once every 30?
Yeah, pretty much. Every 30 seconds you and the killer will be able to see each other for 3 seconds. It'll also go off when the killer has an aura perk, but those seem to be separate from the ones triggered from the 30 s cooldown.
Like I recently went against a PH with bitter murmur, we could see each other when I finished a gen and every 30 seconds. It's okay. It has more pronounced downsides compared to the original that had like zero if you just tilted your camera away.
Still really fun if you don't want to sit on gens all game.
-
it's only for killers that get a rework. Sadly, her's is just an addon comb through.
-
I wouldn't be surprise if they released it ,but just lasting like 60 s or something less than 90.

The killer can literally come back to the hook after you have been unhooked and tunnel you. So if you start working on a gen and the killer comes over to you just after you get unhooked that's to bad because its deactivated now
So instead running to a safe location and healling/getting healed, you want to stick around the last place the killer saw you and work a gen?
I do think that DS might need like a duration boost or something, but the conditions it has now for deactivation are fine IMO.

- Trickster can now charge his power to release a flurry of knives similarly to Zenyatta
Only in my dreams.

man came prepared
-
I'm more interested in the power. I just hope it's not something like a Tyrant running slash that also breaks pallets.
-
I'd say because you have more control over your power when you play Oni. For Plague, it's the survivor that choose whether you become a ranged killer (if they cleanse some where convenient and not across the map) or just NoED simulator 2021.
-
Honestly, I find it incredibly disrespectful putting Demo in C tier like that , next to those losers and yet put Pig in B.
-
Because it more often then not softens the issue of survivors getting free gens at the start of a trial.
-
survivor gets off hook and immediately jumps on a generator in an area I just chased them through.

I don't need any stats when you said something like "My average chase time with him is literally 10-30 seconds" as the Trickster....
Who are the survivors you face? Deaf and blind grandmas? You can't finish a chase that fast unless you are playing with a Nurse and even so if the survivor its competent enough you can't either with her.
If you are so good that your sayings looks like lies then why don't you post some videos instead? Because stats don't say anything, show some videos and then i can tell if you are just bluffing or not. And judge if the survivors were decent or potatoes. Because apparently we are here before the best dbd player in the world.
I don't necessarily doubt them, but yeah, without a video or even what perks they use it's hard to say. From my experience, the build I see with the most success seems to just be regression stacking. If the build is just ruin + undying + pop + tracking/utility, to me that's just an example of how good regression perks are, not how good trickster is.
-
To me, he's just really inconsistent. He has moments where he absolutely shines, differentiating himself from the other ranged killers by being able to shred through health. But, it requires you, the survivor and the map to give opportunities for extended LOS. On maps like Lery's, I may as well AFK because there are so many ways to break los that you are reduced to a no-power-110%-killer. You can make his power better by stacking initial throw rate add-ons. He's a bit more consistent but more add-on reliant.

Really? For some reason when I was playing him after he released and until the rework I could have sworn they just took the damage. Thanks for the comment I guess I just misunderstood what was happening.
It could have been the original UI, I know they wrote that they changed it to make laceration more clear to user.

The survivors always had a speed boost when damaged by the knives. Even on the ptb, if that's when you are referring to.
-
If anything, maybe a 30s extension to the duration.
-
You say that like people only use self care or seek each other out to heal. Even though insta heals were nerfed, med kits as a whole came back a lot stronger.
-
I doubt it. I'd assume that deep wounds just acts as a special inbetween healthstate and doesnt recycle itself just like the other states.
-
I'd be happy if she got more interesting addons that affected her dash. Or even an irridencent that was like:
Rbts are automatically triggered once put on a survivors head. Egc timer is slowed by x%
For some endgame pig instead of rule set 2.
-
Hoarder right now is something you run when you want to give the survivors extra keys not stop it.
-
for a second I was like "how is Hag at all hard?"
Then I remembered that most of my Hag games, people just kill themselves.
-
I might be crazy, but I kind of think double gears is pretty decent if you aren't going regular combat piggy.

I never knew this...so simply activating a pool makes you move at 110%? No wodner it feels so GD slow.
You move at 115 when you activate a pool, but you slow down to 92ish(?) when you charge your power, then it ramps to 110 when you are full and holding the power.

I just bought the DLC, how can you get good at him?
IMO, His main strength that differentiates him from the other two ranged killers is his ability to chew through health states. With enough practice, you can back rev, damage, track them in damage boost for a quick down. It's really map dependent though, but pretty incredible if the odds line up. I honestly can't help but scream when I see Lery's.

I mean...All killers basically need slowdown perks. Basically only the S-Tiers dont
I do agree but I guess I'm just used to not running them on 110% killers. That's why I like them, they're powers felt strong enough that I could stall the game as long as I had tracking perks to keep them busy saving each other. Most games it felt like overkill, but with Trickster it just seems different.
Oh well, at the very least, I've come around to the guy.
-
I was super frustrated when I was playing him sort of like I would with Huntress or Deathslinger, no slowdown and all tracking and just going for quick downs. You can still do fine every now and again, but a killer with slow ms and a highly variable downing speed that's also dependent on tile generation, the game state shifts wildly. You'll think you're doing great then ping!-ping!-ping!. You've fallen behind and the only way to snow ball is if survivors pile up, you have main event or they have a stroke.
Unsurprisingly, he's better with slowdown perks, even though it's pretty lame imo.. well, at least for a 110% killer. After playing him with slowdown perks, he's good.
