A way to counter the key bug.
Hello killer mains of dbd, here I will help you counter the key bug that’s been going on recently by survivors searching chests, or if somebody is bringing a key this post is for you.
Bring Franklins against any key, or bring it just in case for this situation, it’s a teachable for bubba at level 40. It gets rid of the key when you hit the survivor, after a period of time the item disappears, if the survivor picks the key up go for them immediately and hit them back down.
Gen Pressure Is A Important One, A way to use keys is by completing generators, patrolling the gens and making sure nobody is on them is a good way to gen pressure survivors. Perks that make it harder for survivors to gen rush is Tinkerer, Discordance, Thrilling Tremors, and Pop Goes The Weasel. Those perks should be able to help you.
Make sure to know where the hatch is and patrol it once there’s 2 gens and 2 survivors. Because they will be searching for it, if they bring a hatch offering go straight to that specific hatch location and wait. If ur wraith you can body block the hatch and hit the survivor with franklins when they arrive.
Another perk that you could use, but is very mediocre is called Hoarder, a level 30 perk for the Twins. All it does is reveal the location of a survivor when they pick up an item or open a chest. It can be very helpful in a situation like this key bug.

and then they hide a key somewhere after they know, that you have franklin's demise, and you'll be with 1 useless perk
Most survivors when they get the key will go hide it someplace then get it later. This doesn’t work.
That’s when Hoarder comes in handy :)
Hoarder right now is something you run when you want to give the survivors extra keys not stop it.
Dodge if they have a key and bring a cut coin if they don't.
How condescending, I love it. Hope you're about to send me the 999k blooodpoints i'm gonna need to go through the bloodweb over and over and over with all the killers to get franklin and then having to sacrifice a perk slot because survivors are so ######### that they can't win the game without cheating.
And btw, you don't need to complete generators for the hatch to be a thing, the final survivor can just let his entire team die, hide, find the hatch and in the case the killer finds it first, use the key to open it again and that's it, he won without having to do anything.
I know survivors cry like crazy when they lose, but if you weren't able to do gens and keep your team alive so you can escape through the gates, you don't deserve the win.
It's usually better to just camp and tunnel the ######### out of someone who brings a key, they were trying to ruin your fun so might as well return the favor.
I'm saying you dodge if you see one in the lobby and bring a cut coin if you play the match and they haven't brought a key.
I only camp or tunnel if it's a smart move in a match. I'd be bored if I did that from the start so I'd rather just avoid them and be able to play a decent match.
