Idk man nurse main screams hardcore slugging to me
I mean... you're not wrong. I do. To me, it's like asking a hag to not trap near hook. Can you not do it? And will you be fine if you dont do it? Yes, buts it's so clearly in your benefit and easy to go about that's it's a no brainer.
I love nurse, but its just another one of her design flaws. The fact that she can straight up warp through walls makes slugging and camping slugs really really easy.

I don't know if it's true or not. But I've had a spirit main tell me that if you look at ground while phasing , you dont trigger spine chill.
It could be possible that they saw you on bbq, phased up to you while looking at the floor and look up once they canceled their power to hit you. And I guess you might have just stayed there because spine chill didn't light up.

Just wait till you get to red ranks as killer lol you will miss this.
It's a mixed bag with me. I'm more frustrated at map generation then the survivors themselves. Survivors need to be able to do something the extend chases. Them just going down because they've got nothing to work with is just as boring as them getting nasty set ups you can't mindgame at, so you just bot out to get pallets thrown down
-
it would be pretty cool to see snippets of locations form the survivor's memories that have been corrupted by the entity. Or even things they held important. I'd kind would like to see a rundown botanical garden, maybe with plants Claudette found very interesting or just otherworldly but with the catch that she had to dragged in here to see them.
-
It's weird saying that corrupt is a no skill perk with too much reward, when the main thing it does is stop survivors from getting free gens at the start.
If anything, I'd wish it was base kit and the other slowdown perks got a heavy nerf if not outright removed.
-
More after game bloodpoint multiplier perks.

This is essentially how Freddy's old Dream Transition worked. Skilled Freddy players would mindgame by walking one way, then back the other way, knowing that survivors would see them intermittently. The same thing could be done with this version of Spirit, except that she won't have to wait for the full duration to elapse and can end her power at any time.
That is true with old Freddy, but spirit is blind while phasing so she cant take advantage of it as directly.
At the very least though, it would make a killer "all about mindgames" like they toted her to be when they teased her instead of what we have now.
-
I'm not sure if her husk appearing every 1.25 seconds in haunting would be a buff that you can mindgame with. But who knows
-
I'd like if they changed your aura color while downed when you have enough charge to activate the perk.
-
I just don't think BHVR really balances about high end players.
Did Marth's depip squad spur any changes about SWFS back then? Did it entice them to close the gap between solos? No, and I doubt this kill streak will change anything. Every time it was brought up, "not everyone plays like that", "how often do you go up against people that good?". I don't even remember the last time I saw a Nurse compared to other high tiered killers, and I sure as hell know it's not just because they think "she's boring to play" when they come in with nothing but slowdown perks on slowdown perks.
The only thing they care about is stats, and the stats say Nurse is 'whatever'. Do we know better? Yeah. But these are the same people that made The Game a pallet haven, and changed nothing about what made the farm maps strong. Strong and easy to use loop tiles are still spawning in a straight line around the edges, but the map just looks prettier I guess.
-
Fire Nancy or she'll set fire to the chapel "accidentally "
-
The thing about looping (whether you're playing killer or survivor) is that you should be tailoring it to your opponent. Watching others can show things you can do, but you'll have to feel out if the other side will fall for it. If you just copy and paste, the killer is going to quickly catch on to how you run.

you forgive my english! I didn't mean that! ;)
Lol, no worries. Language can be weird in general when we aren't speaking literally.
But I do understand your frustration when you have to wait 5+ mins only to find out they arent even playing.

I still think that removing Laceration decay and making Laceration get removed on healing would make him better, since it would give him set ups and snowball potentials, as well as long term tactics. It would also remove the need to make him faster since he can save up damage over time.
I guess it depends on how long the healing action is. Otherwise, he'd be too strong considering how fast and how much ammo he can chuck out.
It would have to be quick enough that it's worth doing in some situations. Like losing distance to remove a couple of stacks. And obviously not something like a gen tap... something that costs little to nothing

but what are you saying?
I'm responding to
"sorry but ... i want to play don't get gens for free!"
I read it as
I want to play don't-get-gens-for-free.
Like you want to play in a way that you have to earn gen progression. But due to spawns and maps, the first couple of gens are usually free. That's why I always run corrupt, it mitigates that.

sorry but ... i want to play don't get gens for free!
Then this might not be the game for you. It will straight up spawn survivors next to generators so the first 2 or 3 gens are usually free.
-
Jane is my queen.
-
If they did do this, I'd want the ability to change killers and players are penalized for dodging lobbies too many times.
-
I knew this day would come.
-
There is no fixing. This is it.
-
I mean.. .. should killers be able to hardcore tunnel vision and still 4k?
Sure some map rng can be super dumb, but this video isn't a typical chase scenario.
-
Thing is... I kind of don't disagree with them entirely. Forever build are dumb. I don't like that survivors can pull out second chance perks one right after the other, and I think killers should be held to the same standard.
but what to do? IDK, maybe that perks point system would work.
-
You're telling me that in a realistic setting, where magic or whatever isn't real, that 4 young adults couldn't beat the ever living shite out of a burn victim like Freddy?

And how is a cooldown in the Genrush Meta? It doesn't make sense.
I'm assuming they mean that having to wait 15 seconds costs a lot in a gen rush meta.
But you don't have to use all of your power as Spirit. If you use it in bursts, you can have it up constantly. Then there's the thing about Nurse needing to use her power to get downs, while Spirit still has the option to chase as a 110% killer if it's favorable.
-
For me personally, It's not the killers themselves that bother me.
It's when players throw every slowdown perk into a build that fills all the mistakes they make in the game. No amount of counterplay is going to make a dent when pop + ruin + undying says "all that time they wasted getting to you, nope".
And the same goes survivor builds, but I feel like they've already addressed the brunt of it with the DS change.
-
No it doesn't.
-
Deer stalker lost its purpose when the original was split between todays deer stalker and nurse's calling IMO.
-
The only time I find 4 DH frustrating is when I'm playing an m1 killer like Pig. With Huntress, Deathslinger, Nurse, Hag, or any killer with anti-loop, it feels much less pronounced to me.
-
Nea, mainly because of balanced landing and I really like the beany blonde head. It speaks to my inner 15 yr old sk8r girl.
As far as killer. I tend to switche every rank reset and its Nurse season. Really because she my least played killer and I kind of miss her.
-
Let her join the ranks of power lunge = breaks pallets
-
Flashlight clicking / tea bag for more hook/ bleedout time seems like a really weird one sided trade.
-
Adding a chase indicator UI for survivors. I don't feel like it changes much, you're probably going to stay on a generator unless the killer starts chasing you personally, or you're going for a save.
-
Buff Pig's lunge so it destroys breakable objects, nerf spirits duration addons so more duration gives a longer recharge time.

It may depend on region, crossplay and ranks. For me, going from the afternoon and later, trials become increasingly easier. At a certain point , I can 4k 9 out of 10 trials while eating my dinner. However, earlier in the day I get mostly comletent survivors.
Same. It feels like the later I play, the more rainbow lobbies i get throwing into.

I agree, but people experience the game quite differently. Not every experienced game is the same and even though my killer games may pass by breezily, there's many people who struggle or get seriously unlucky RNG with maps and what players they go against. A thread like this doesn't serve any purpose except to antagonize.
That really is the duality of Dbd that comes from not having a real matchmaking system.
So the statement of " I'm red rank and: "
The game is too easy | too hard can both be correct. And that not throwing in meta perks.
-
Whoa ..
" - Myers has 6 yellow add-ons instead of 5 and 3 brown add-ons instead of 4."
Add-on pass confirmed ?

When you dont have 60 seconds of doing what ever you want, when ever want, where ever you want anymore.

I want Scott's vision of seeing a Claudette run up to you... and then pulls out a knife.
-
The one good thing about tricky is that he inspired me to go back to nurse. At least she's worth the effort and frustration.

Ha I was rank 1 killer and rank 12 survivor as well. Only my ranks didn't change yet. Still 1 and 12. No adept Trickster attempts for me it seems.
I was thinking of doing that exact thing and hearing that some got shot way below was a glimmer of hope. Though, I do shudder at playing this dude again.
-
I was at 12 Survivor and 1 Killer, but it showed me as rank 1 for both while the reset animation played. Now I'm at 15 for survivor and 9 for killer.
-
If it's 50, 150, 200, 200, 200 for 800% laceration:
Does anyone know if it takes 5 knives to injure or is it 5 to fill up and then the 6th triggers the damage? Because if it's the latter, [Edge of revival + Cut thru You] takes the same amount of knives and is way easier to pull off. Just aim at the feetsies.

I really like it on nurse but not much anyone else.
-
I guess it depends on the parameters? are we counting add ons? are perks included and what kind? Like I feel any killer can be boosted to at least B tier if you just put [ ruin, undying ,pop, tinkerer ]
-
Keys. That's it.
-
Sometimes I wonder if he's overtaken Nurse. She's still amazing and all, but I definitely find his loop better than staring at the ground for most of the game. Especially on Hawkins and Lery's, where nearly everything is a blind blink.

Every rhinestone is precious on the tacky sweater that is this game
