Blight will make you hate certain maps even more because slip and slide. Watch some deep breathing exercises so you have some thing to fall back on.

This was like a couple weeks after Pig's release tbf it was a while ago
The TR change came with patch 2.5, almost a full year after Pig was released. This was also when Pig got her crouching speed buff, and her TR fade came in and out faster, fulfilling the 2 buffs 1 nerf meme.
As much as I whinge about the TR nerf, it wasn't game breaking and the entire patch was way-way more of a buff. But it just made her slower on approaching survivors on gens IMO. Crouching immediately as whispers lights up, Instead of being able to take a few steps forward and then crouching. You can still get it back with M&A, but perk slot.

There's a lullaby? What is it?
I can't say I heard any lullaby while playing or watching others play, so genuinely curious if their audio is bad, or if I'm becoming more deaf than I thought...
It's kind of like a soft screech.
-
I'll never stop advocating against the injustice of changing pig's TR from 28 to 32.
-
105% ms is pretty slow, especially when you're going to have a 32 meter terror radius. Though the effect is nice, I'd expect it to go as well as scratched mirror myers on any map that isn't indoor.

Uhhh. Do my memories trick me now or was there not a stun after missing a knife hit while in frenzy? It's so long ago. I just can remember that you after the rework got basically penalized for even breathing. Exaggerated said.
All I wan't is that you can multiple times stab in frenzy, without being stuned, or getting a black screen, or whatever Behavior possible could code in to stop you from doing just that.
If that action lowers the mend timer, or makes just a tiny amount damage, or whatever... That is almost... ->almost<- (not totally) unimportant for me. Back in the day I had not buy the dlc because I had the picture of "mending everyone to the end of the world" in my mind. I had bought it because I thought on all the stabby movies^^. And well... Because I loved their story. I need to admit that :|
I think what you're remembering is the conditions that legion was able to activate their power. Before, they could activate it as long as they had any amount of charge. So even though you got stunned, you could go back into frenzy when ever.
https://youtu.be/szbPKNVXpLE?t=764Here he is in ptb getting stunned after a frenzy hit and using it again at half charge. Honestly, in Legion's current state I kind of feel like they could get some aspects of the old kit like partial charge activation or multi swings.
-
As far as I remember Legion was always penalized for hitting someone in deep wounds. That part hasn't changed. If you're talking about being able to lessen the mend timer with successive frenzy hits, not without an addon, but it's not really worth it IMO.
Though, I think they said he's on their radar, but what that entails is still in the air. Complete rework? number changes? Who knows. I wonder to the psychopaths that still main them, if they like his base kit or would they rather see them doing something different entirely... kind of like what they did to Freddy.
Also: " without getting penalized for being having a good enough aim to hit someone multiple times while in frenzy -_- "
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0-q_yHPNck -
So you think the only killer that has a 32 terror radius + 110% ms, slowed down by every every aspect of his kit (walking speed, animation, reel speed, and general chase loop), can be ran from early, held w on, has now a noticeable wind up and a spear that has a smaller hitbox needs even more counterplay.
Just let the man live.
-
https://youtu.be/fGUY-8x1gXY
The reel speed is the same regardless of whether you are holding s, w or nothing. But I usually still angle and walk backwards to slide them off surfaces they might catch on to.
-
I thought this was going to lead into a Joshua Graham quote and follow with:
"But when done righteously, its a chore like any other"
The only kinds of survivors I feel bad for are one with an afk/dc'd teammate at 5 gens or actual baby survivors.
-
It's not my favorite.

Scratchmarks are bugged right now. They are 1sec late than they should be.
I was chasing a survivor, I though he left 0 scratchmarks. But they appeared 1sec later.
In a close chase scratchmarks makes 0 sense. But they are good for tracking a survivor.
PS : sorry for my bad english
I thought that's how they always worked. Unless I'm misunderstanding something.
-
I just want to be able to put the dwight crow in all three slots.
-
I can vibe with that sentiment. It's just kind of boring but a completely valid playstyle. Just as valid as me hard patrolling because I might not find you again.
But working with killer to target you is a bit too far. Killing you but happen to let the others go is one thing, but them leading the killer to you is another.

Yea, it's not meant to be taken as a great idea or anything and definitely is meant to be taken at face value. I just want Trickster to embody the master knife thrower he's meant to be and not an amateur that throws a flurry of knives hoping to hit something
Yeah, I remember a lot of people kind of disappointed in his power on ptb. I just don't really think bhvr left any wiggle room with him. His power has this weird duality that can leave him feeling useless or outright overpowered.
I guess they could have taken him in a doctor kind of way where his power is meant to disrupt/disable (and a similar power charge speed), maybe making ricochet a base mechanic that has an added effect if hit after a bounce.
But the harder part is finding the "fun", because what killers find fun and what survivors find fun can be worlds apart.
-
I feel like this is just a nerf compared to live. He's still the same speed, the same amount of knives, but now he just has these random stances. Many of which will just be a flashy waste of knives so you'll be visiting lockers more often.
-
I think the only killer that benefits from stretch res is Nurse.. when she's fatigued Vs All survivors now being able to look over certain loops they couldn't before.
-
I'm kind of used to 130-150 from the p2p days. But I did have one game recently where I had 2 players from Japan. Man had Like 328 ping. It kind of looked okay on my end, but got wierd when I'd hit him.
-
I don't play survivor that often, and I can't get a game that doesn't have someone kill themselves on hook, or have 1-2 people Dcing at 5 gens. I'm out, I'm going back to killer because this genuinely feels unplayable.
-
No, but it sure feels like it when you encounter the same build/killer game after game after game after game...
-
That's how it usually is because survivors are just reskins

I'll put it like this, I don't think I have ever seen a boon actually won the game on its own. However, killer hex perks I have seen actually won the game for killer every day i've played.
All you need to do is play both sides to see the difference. Killer hex perk are massively game changing. NOED can change a match from a 0K to a 4K, a Blight with Undying/Ruin is unbeatable.
As survivor, you can't go in with a boon perk and have an advantage strong enough to guarantee your win.
It's hard to see the value of boons when you're only 1/4 of the team. You don't see when someone else uses it, how or how often they use it.
-
This was bound to happen when for years, the ways bhvr has addressed problems was to just release dlc perks to combat it. So here we are, an arms race of killers and survivors. where if a killer doesn't have some aspect antiloop, they just get run around like a dog. And if you don't bring some kind counter to that anti as a survivor, you kind of just die.
-
Is that why some times survivors seem to be floating in the air? I've had two games where I just saw a Kate hovering, not reacting to my presence.

I think you have pretty much no reason to buy it yet? maybe for that tunneling perk, idk.
Wait, there's a tunneling perk?
-
I doubt much will change. When two groups respect the other side, the more safe they play. Throwing a pallet down early when you aren't 100% sure you'll get another loop won't change nor will camping out hook states.
-
Why not.

Now it can't l👀k better. Unlucky.

Could someone please explain to me where the bottles were buffed?
The only one I can think of is them speeding up his reload time from 5 to 3 when he got his yellow bottles.
But It didn't really change that much about him.
Oh yeah! And then there was the not slowing down when he throws his bottle.
-
It's hard to say with it being so early, especially with how it would work with the whole condemned stacks and being moriable. But at the same time, it builds so slowly and can moderated pretty easily that it seems like a non-factor. I kind of wish condemned built faster but instead made the survivor exposed.

Does she get a speed boost while "cloaked"?
It doesn't feel like she does. If she does its incredibly small. She does lose collision so you can walk through survivors.
-
She seems to be able to put out a bit of gen pressure with her teleports and might be the new jump scare goddess. But she doesn't having anything in the chase department apart from her low stature. Will probably still get clowned by Dead Hard like all other stealth killers and Spread pressure is dead in the age of COH.
from a brief look. IMO, Fun
M1 killer. Good? Time will tell. -
With the way BHVR address problem perks, I'm expecting a "no boons allowed" perk/killer.

I had a game the other day where a survivor deliberately didn't do anything for 60 seconds so they could let me down them and hit their Decisive Strike, after I came from the other side of the map, finishing a chase and hooking another survivor before coming back to them.
''But they didn't do anything for 60 seconds!'' - Okay, and? The perk is designed to be an anti-tunnel perk, and I did the very opposite of tunnelling by chasing a different survivor, hooking them, and then coming back to them.
It does need to be changed. Hooking another survivor should immediately deactivate all active DS on the other survivors, because that means YOU aren't tunnelling a specific survivor. But if you try to suggest this, the survivor mains froth at the mouth.
Bro, if it was 60 seconds, they wouldn't have had Ds.
It also begs the question: what were you doing in those 60s when it was a 1 v 3?
-
If you're going to nerf it ever more, then it should be buffed to be a better anti tunnel perk.
it hides scratch marks, blood pools, injuried noises for x amount of seconds (maybe 10-12 seconds), and give it a mini sprint burst.
That way tunneling is 100% bad idea no matter what the game state is. Mega anti tunnel.

I still think this is the most cursed head piece.

I don't really like the whole 'hot take' thing but
I do have a few opinions I'm sure some would consider highly contentious, perhaps even silly.
1) Dead Hard is the only perk that helps against the strongest killers in the game and if/when it gets nerfed I feel a lot more people will notice.
2) I think Corrupt Intervention is generally overrated. Still an incredible perk but I'm not 100% convinced it's as required as some make it out to be.
If anyone wants me to explain these further, let me know!
about Dead Hard. I'm with you on that.
IMO, It kills m1 killers. But against the higher tier killers it more of a minor inconvenience that buys like 5 seconds of time.
-
Speaking of bugs and you can't move.
I had a game as Trickster on midwich where a Claudette was frozen in place for the whole game. At first I thought she just didn't want to play against the trickster, so I got up to make a cup of tea to void the game for the other 3. But when it came time to drag her afk ass to the exit gate, she couldn't leave even though she was clearly pass the exit line... When I looked at her, she was moving her camera. She might have been there the whole time, just unable to do anything.

Yes i dont mean killers but survivors?
For that I wouldn't be totally against if it also had a limit or reset totally at some point just so people don't put themselves in perma-queue. But I did like way back when you could see the rank of your teammates. Then you could take a deep breath and willingly take the plunge when you saw you're teammates were all brown rank.

How is that not inspired? It's one of his stage costumes so it is a perfect extension of his lore and its heavy inspired by cupid I think that's good enough. The head might not be every one's favorite but it fits the overall anesthetic
Admittedly, this is a matter of taste, so there really isn't a right answer.
But to me, It is just trickster in a stage costume and how many times have we seen that? All of his costumes have been that minus Pressured Performer. They could of had a more entity version of cupid, an inucubus or even brought something out of world folklore relating to love but twisted.
Like give us something new and interesting to look at and not just Trickster at another gig for $15.

Well its not abusable in overwatch so why would it be here ?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2802519#Comment_2802519
But it was abuseable in overwatch. So they changed it to only block people from being on your team and you only get 3 slots. Before you could block anyone, including enemy players that were better than you.
They changed it around the time a high mmr widow player inquired about why their queue times were always so long, only to find out that they were blocked by a massive amount of people.
-
My biggest gripe is how bland it is compared to the recent Baba Yaga. I wouldn't mind it being a set if it was really out there and inspired.
This is just trickster in a party city costume.
