If you play a Level 1 survivor, sure you will be in a disenvantage to your team and against the Killer, but you "base" abilitys are still strong enough to help your team enough. If you play a level 1 Killer, you will be in a huge disenvantage because you play against 4 players with more perks and abilitys than you miss. That is a huge difference, thats why I wonder why survivors have to get the same amount of bloodpoints to reach level 50 than a Killer that is alone against 4?
A killer without perks can easily tunnel their way through a team without perks.

Since I made a new account I can tell you with how many hours I got anything.
All teachables including all DLCs from Killers: After 200 hours.
All teachables including all DCLs (except Ace and Jeff) from Survivors: after 300 hours. (500 hours for all teachables in total).
I started then prestiging with Killers, I am at 850 hours atm and have following Killers on P3 with ALL perks.
-Legion, Spirit, Plague, Doctor, Wraith, Freddy
And I am now at P3 level 30 on Huntress currently. I just had 1 double bloodpoints event, the last one.
So after seeing this data, I dont personally think the grinding is too long... especially with the tomes its really fine now. But I and my best friend who is a survivor main agrees that survivors shouldnt need the same amount of Bloodpoints to level as Killers. Since you earn ALOT less bloodpoints as survivor and survivors are not in need of addons or perks as Killers do.
What do you mean by that last part?
-
Same. In swf I know I can try for the challenge next round, you never know what is gonna happen in solo.

Bad players get into high ranks, the Killers stomp those bad players quickly.
Because the game ended so quickly against bad solo survivors who ranked easily the Killer de-pips or black pips, even though the Killer got 2-4 kills.
Behavior receives these statistic's, looks at them, puts the score that says they de-pip'd or black piped into the shredder and goes "They got 2 (or more) kills, that's balance".
~~~
Now if the dev's fixed ranking, making it harder for survivors to rank up when they play bad.
Only the good survivors get into Purple, and Red ranks. They start to see in Purple and Red Ranks the killers getting stomped each round, with little as to 1 kill or no kills.
They start to see the Killers are much weaker than survivors (some more so than others). Then at the same time start to see that even if a Killer plays well the score doesn't reward them.
~~~
Developers then buff weaker killers.
Also maybe add a voice chat so that Solo survivors have the same tools as SWF.
Like dude I know you like to stalk me on the forums to try and bat down my opinions, but by the end of the day we both want the same thing. A balanced and fun game for EVERYONE, and not just one side.
Geez I was just asking a question. I agree ranking needs to be fixed.

Though if they stop letting all the bad survivor players rank up so easily then statistic's would become more accurate and then they could actually balance killer's better.
Lol and the dev's thought Ruin was their only problem skewing statistic's.
There is a reason that the saying is "The game is easier when you kill the weak ones first".
How could they not notice the ranking problem?

Honestly I only think DH needs to be looked at. Makes chases last so long, which is not a good combination with the ruin nerf. Didn’t they say chases should last like 20 seconds or something? LOL
SB and Lithe have the same chase potential as DH. DH just gets cucked by dedicated servers.

Noobie survivors are just getting a little bit more confident. Pretty much every experienced player knows no more nerfs are needed to individual killers.

I love Diversion too. It's funny when the killer comes to your gen and you lead them in another direction.

ACTUALLY, if I'm not mistaken, there are routes through the challenges so you don't have to play as Doc or Jane. It will just take longer.
Oh. My bad then.

Yes, let's increase the already large grind that we currently have now.
Just no.
Well it could be done no grind required, just get level 50 p3 and claim a bloody charm. No more blood webs.

They want people to pay more money.

Imagine removing the rank system from your game 😂

No, the Ruin nerf wasn't made to "keep it in line with other hex perks"
The Devs stated that they were nerfing BL because it gave a passive effect that no other exhaustion perk gave.
Ruin was nerfed because survivors couldn't hit great skill checks, and it was "frustrating to go against for survivors and new players".
Nice try, but that's an invalid argument
If they said they were nerfing BL to make loops less annoying for newer killers would that make the other reason any less true. Recognize the double standard.

My Wishlist:
- Map sizes to be standardized
In competitive sports, the size of the pitch can have a drastic affect on how the game plays out, its no different from DBD.
- Matchmaking/ranking to be fixed (they're interrelated to the point of inseparability)
As a survivor, it feels extremely unrewarding to escape because the killer you're up against is inexperienced, and as killer it feels hopeless to be put against teams so out of your league that the match is not even useful as practice.
- A kind of developer made, community informed "competitive mode" for DBD where only certain perks/addons/items/offerings/maps are allowed and rank can actually be used as an indication of skill rather than an amalgamation of RNG informed by skill
I won't elaborate on this too much, but if a casual mode existed for DBD which had optional proximity voice chat (between survivors and killer such as in Friday 13th), and maintained the bloodweb system, then things like keys, moris, DS etc could all stay in the game, whilst mitigating a lot of the horrid balance issues that DBD has by excluding them from play until they can be deemed fit for a competitive/ranked situation.
Having a casual mode will also allow DBD's community to flourish in a more positive way, survivors or killers who are at different skill levels will be able to communicate & possibly teach each other how to play (or muted if they're toxic af), and a lot of the more memey side of DBD can be experienced, such as humorous killer/survivor interactions etc. A lot of the mechanical negative feedback you get post-game will also be mitigated, as you could goof around without the game telling you how much you suck by depiping you.
Team Fortress 2 has a community managed competitive scene with bans on weapons etc which are deemed to be overpowered for competitive play, I don't see why DBD can't at least make a surface level ingame distinction between competitive and casual play, and allow engaged members of the community to take on the legwork of balancing it. Fog whispers and the like will definitely come together to discuss balance were this the case.

BL was nerfed because it gave a passive that no other exhaustion perk does. All they did was make it in line with other exhaustion perks, also BL made some loops essentially infinites.
The devs are putting ruin in line with other hex perks in terms of early game potential.

nobody is talking about free kills, im talking about circumventing a game mechanic entirely and creating a boring safe zone.
It's not circumventable.

They are just trying to make all of their consumers satisfied. They change whatever the playerbase has problems with.

If you went against Freddy or any of the other meme perks/killers, then BT won't work which is absolutely bogus as BT was implemented to punish campers (proxy camping is really only needed during EGC).
Agreed. You can have a useless perk slot because the killer is using a camping build, the thing BT is meant to counter. I would love to see BT changed.

Their change did hardly anything if at all to fix his problems. Like I was saying, I don't think he will get a rework because he had recent changes, I just think he needs them still is all.
I do agree Bubba and Billy need addons fixed though.
I also think Pig needs buffs but I assumed OP meant reworks because their design is flawed not just killers who need buffs. If we're talking buffs I'd agree about Pig as well.
I suppose "rework" can have a few different meanings depending how we take it.
Yes in terms of full on reworks Pig probably won't get one in that sense but bubba might.

BT only activates if you hear the heartbeat.

@JarMa13 said:
And do you think borrowed time should be buffed so that...
If you have borrowed time, when someone who doesn't have it unhooks you, you get its effects, too?
It seems unfair to me that if I run borrowed time, others benefit from it and I don't.
If you're stuck with a dbag camping killer, you have no choice but to let him stab you, then unhook the survivor before he can stab again. Often this results in you being downed.
Then when you're hooked, if someone unhooks you, you're assed out.
I think if you have unhooked someone with borrowed time, the perk should also work when the person running it is unhooked.
Well no, BT is fine as is. Not giving any bonus to your personal survivability is the entire risk reward of it.
-
If ruin didn't get nerfed billy would have to be because he had access to almost guaranteed wins with map pressure + ruin. Or am I just being biased?
Point is, Ruin inflated kill rates almost as much as the ranking and swf matchmaking system. More accurate kill rates = better balance changes. Of course, who needs balance when survivors have "so many second chances." Dealing with this community must be tiring.

Was the Legion double blade exploit great in any form ? Absolutely no, and it was rightfully fixed as soon as possible. The trapped in basement bug also was treated fairly quickly. Why would an obvious error like this "tech" be fine because it has counters ?
Yes. Just like window tech. But apparently devs are removing techs now.
-
Legion just got changed so no. Idk how they could fix Bubba tbh, but I would like him and Billy to get their add ons fixed.

I'm hoping for Pig. I love Saw but rn her power is underwhelming and her add ons are mediocre.

Demogorgon with Plague's power.

Ghostface is BS on both Sides. You sometimes cannot break him out or break him out without seeing him. Just wait for BHVR to fix him, he is basically not ready to release - despite released for a long time already...
But yeah, have to agree, it is bullshit to call it "Stalking" when he just walks behind you, completely visible.
Maybe they should change it that you reveal him by pointing at him.
That would be funny.

You technically did tunnel, but it's not your fault and you don't deserve hate for it.

Just because I disagree with DS the way it is now does not mean I'm not a survivor main. I mean have you seen my other posts?

BL got nerfed because it had a major secondary effect that was active even with the exhaustion debuff on you, and broke several maps. It's like if Sprint Burst always made your base running speed 105% or if Lithe made it so you can fast vault windows without the runup.
Yes ruin is also a passive effect that requires no iq.

When do you killer mains get it, that "If another survivor gets hooked, Decisive Strike deactivates until the next time you are unhooked or unhook yourself" is too easily countered just by slugging? Stop this nonsense ideas.
I noticed they were overlooking this as well. Slugging is strong enough for snowballing but they also want it to allow them to tunnel. Bias can really cloud your view sometimes.

People relied on [insert meta surviv perk here] too much. Sometims I feel like suvivors should learn how to not rely on it and use thr perks that relate to extending the chase.
That's true though. BL got nerfed for this reason.

By making him be able to hook survivors faster and apply hook pressure.
He needs a mobility or detection option otherwise he will remain low tier. Take freddy for example he was given mobility and anti-loop. Even doctor has detection, slowdown, and anti-loop. Anti-loop by itself doesn't cut it in dbd.

Yes this will give him map pressure. How again?

You can tell it's survivor biased, by the Hatch alone. An entire mechanic that gives survivors who failed at their goal a free win. A mechanic in which takes points from the Killer who played well, while at the same time giving max points of a category to a survivor (or survivors if they had a key), whom failed at accomplishing their goal.
End game doesn't exist anymore? Only survivors have second chances to accomplish their objective now? I'm disappointed honestly.
-
Stranger Things
Demogorgon was really amazing in the beginning and Nancy's perks are pretty fun to use. The map is great aesthetically but balance wise upstairs could be a little safer, especially considering the BL nerf. Steve is my favorite survivor to play as so I'm a little biased.

Finding parts would be cool.
