I don think pipping requirements have changed. Did I miss something?
-
It's amazing how many people didn't realize other slowdown options existed. I have been surviving off of anti-heal builds and surge builds for a while now.

Our only hope is the new Predator and Resident Evil asymmetrical games. It will be the first time BHVR has been challenged by a real studio of the AAA variety. Perhaps it will make them pull their heads out of their asses.
The problem with your statement is the fact dbd is getting more and more money and players. How could that be a sign they're addressing the game's problems improperly?

you also act like there arent maps like haddonfield where even with corrupt you're screwing yourself , especially when you spawn in the middle of the map .
I guess that's the gamble. Some maps are harder to trap effectively.

I've been a wake several hours.
Good job 🤗

Killers playing as normal? War IS here.

I've been playing without ruin since I started. Let's wake up people.

yes and forget about setting up( exactly what trapper and hag need to do)
You will be set up by the time they reach you I would hope.

also what's stopping them from walking towards the side I'm on to start a gen?
The side you're on is where you are. You are a killer and you can kill them.

It wasn't a buff, or a nerf. It suits a different and more productive playstyle, and they didn't do him wrong, but he remains about the same on the tier list. So that's irrelevant. Especially when the changes were made for the sake of survivors.
Reasoning behind changes is much more complex than the bogus patch notes. The result is a more accessible doc.
-
Ranking up as survivor is too easy.

you really think competent survivors are just going to hide on the other side of the map? no smart ones will walk around doing totems and opening chest .
Those will not bring them closer to escaping so what's the problem?

Explain. The thread I read said that they couldn't ds against doc when they were in madness tier three or something
There have been DS fails for months.

as I stated it is counter productive, you want time to set up . corrupt pushes them towards you thus giving any trap you set down a bigger chance of being disarmed from a near by survivor.
No it forces them to hide, giving you time to set up. If they don't hide you can easily snowball them in the smaller space.
-
@ReallyBigShoe said:
Indeed. They can deny it all they want, but survivors are their priority, and what do you expect, really? Survivors complain about anything that kills them. "Freddy OP. Billy OP"
Survivor bias is strong. We'll see how long that lasts. 😎
Yes buffing doc was exercising survivor priority.
-
CI still exists.
-
Did you forget how fast survivors rise in madness tiers?
-
Btw the DS bug is beneficial to survivors I hear?
-
Recognize the double standard
-
Right now is probably the best so far. Survivor queues are a tad high but killer is the best it's been with gatekeeper change.

"Borrowed Time was pretty fine imo, but then they tied it into Deep Wounds and it turned from a delayed hit to essentially just a free hit. Deep Wounds in and of itself is kinda just a poorly designed mechanic imo."
Idk where you saw OP in there. What I'm saying is more that Deep Wounds as a mechanic sucks.
Unless you're reading me saying getting essentially a free hit is really good is saying it's OP? but because of the mess that is Legion, and their decision to tie a survivor perk and a killer power together is a mess, as it dooms the effect to utter mediocrity. If it's too survivor sided, Legion become trash as BT becomes amazing. If it's too killer sided, Legion becomes godlike while BT will suffer heavilly. They should really rework Deep Wounds into a survivor effect tied to endurance and fully change Legion imo.
Deep Wounds are fine. They're either broken or not. Nothing in between.

Not if you add finding one into the mix. Yes breaking and hopping into an adjacent locker would be faster. But that's not reliable, nor is it something you can do frequently. And if you're competing with multiple other people for totems for inner strength...
I can break every totem without concern, and I can heal myself in the exit to go for that last minute save.
I've run the totem/locker build that Puppets has been using a lot. I still frequently end up wishing I had self care in the moment. I am red ranked every month and have been for over a year. I find it invaluable as someone that likes to play altruistically and self-sufficient.
If you already have a totem in mind finding is usually less than 10 sec
-
@Feyd said:
I take self care because it's just flat out universally reliable. Inner strength has a limit on how many heals you can possibly get and encourages skipping totems to not waste potential heals. If you are in the end game and already used it, it would take far more time to find a totem, break it, and then find a locker, then get in and heal than it ever would to just self care. And without self care, it's largely suicide to go back in for the save.
You don't need to hell immediately every time you're hit, but when you need to, nothing will *always* get you healed like self care can.
Actually inner strength is still faster adding totem breaking

DS got changed.

It's probably just a Cursed Legacy thing.

I'm fine with how it works,but hex totems get destroyed too fast. In 90% of my recent games with the new ruin it never got into play cause survs spawned on it or cleansed it early,and then i'd have 0 slowdown for gens
They're fixing totem spawns on new maps.

They're op in terms of pipping

Enduring/Spirit Fury eats two perk slots to occasionally skip a pallet. You know, until survivors start pulling the pallets a bit earlier or start using Jungle Gyms. It eats 2 perks and is quite counter able.
Remember me is... Pretty bad now. You have to build it up for, what, at most 16 seconds? Maybe. When it could be built to 30, it was ok, but only 16 seconds in endgame only, and having to have been 3 perks most of the match? At least Ruin would buy time early game.
And Blood Warden isn't really a second chance, as you have to actually earn it for what, a minute? But if you're not running a one shot and they're healthy, it becomes much less useful.
While DS is mostly fine imo tbh, my one issue is if you get in a locker, there's no countering it beyond a stare-off. I can deal with the tunnel punishment" when you down and hook someone fast then happen to find them, but at least that you could slug for a few.
Borrowed Time was pretty fine imo, but then they tied it into Deep Wounds and it turned from a delayed hit to essentially just a free hit. Deep Wounds in and of itself is kinda just a poorly designed mechanic imo.
Dead Hard is annoying at times yes, but it's also counter able. You can bait it. You can keep up with the dash if close enough. Sure, it's strong in extending loops, but really it also rewards survivors for being a bit greedy and can influence them into bad plays without it.
BT op? You good man?
-
Honestly, pretty sad. Hopefully this doesn't happen while I'm alive.

I just run p3 on Adam. None of his skins are all that great.

you dont need to lol. everyone knows that swf is complety broken. but the thing is. marth and his swf played perkless without coms. which means its reproducable with solos. if every rank1 would do gens insted of hiding like rank 20s. survivors would never lose.
2 years ago is very invalid today.
-
Noed isn't going to help you pressure gens. Killers are being childish.
-
Killers
-
Taking an extra 70 seconds to do side objectives is worth taking out a killer perk. Do all the totems if you see too much noed.
-
@PrettyFaceKate said:
15 seconds is 'long' only if you were camping, and even then it's easy to wait out, especially if you try to zone the survivor by bodyblocking.
I agree with making it proc regardless of terror radius and I'm ready to take the flame for that. I always go for the unhooker anyway and, if I find the unhooked instead, their timer is usually over, because otherwise it means I was proxying hard.
Agreed. It shouldn't take less than 15 seconds to hit the survivor unless the killer is doing a hard proxy.
-
No it's pretty much the same. Hiding and doing gens got you a black pip before ruin got changed I'm pretty sure.

I haven't experienced this bug but I hope it gets fixed.

Sorry to tell ya', why are you playing him?
Do you like having a bad time?
I 4k'd on Hawkins with Legion with 2 gens done, and I can tell you, I did not have an ounce of fun while destroying this group, it wasn't about how they played, it was that Legion was so unbearable to play, they were not fun to play at all.
Honestly Legion feels very good. I can understand why he would be frustrating if you're trying to win though.

My issue with the trap removal is that it just doesn't feel Saw-like. They just wiggle their hands for a few seconds, and off pops a trap? I'd like to see maybe after a failed or success that survivors end up in Deep Wound, since Saw's actual version required the victims usually to mutilate themselves. Right now, it feels like survivors just get off easy with zero drawbacks. They could make it like the Freddy alarms. Only 1 box is active, but a survivor must decide when to go for the release and choose when that risk is worth it. It would make the traps at least a little more deadly than they currently are
Those would make for awesome add ons
-
@underlord99 said:
I honestly think her traps need a rework, they were lackluster from the start. i Think a great change would be :
-every time a gen pops your timer ticks faster, this would make it more like the movies where they had to make tough choices.
Ikr. The deviation from the movies killed the chapter for me.

@Hoodied said:

Agreed. First box getting off is too fast for what is now purely a tool to buy some time.

Agreed. They flood the rift with them and they're hardly noticable. Ridiculous.
