There are better ways of making her more fun to use but not overwhelmingly OP.

Oh, so you're worse than the killer. Your team wins because of your being obsession, and instead of accepting it, you DC like a child.
I dont blame killers one bit when people like you still DC to spite every and anyone.
It's a game. Move tf on and accept the loss.
If the killer throws the game, he can too

What numbers are we talking? 11/12/13/14/15?
Yea something over 100% better if stacking was removed. Personally though, I just want it increased by 25% with stacking remaining in so that ultra vault speed build never dies.

@OMagic_ManO said:
Making the stacking removed makes it worse, it could be worth a buff but it's a good perk in what it does.
He meant remove stacking and drastically increase the numbers

"Animation Enchancement who? Never heard of her, anyways, I've never really wasted my time and reached rank 1 as a killer so idk what are you talking about, you're probably just bad!"
I've never been screwed of an m1 due to spinning, but animation enhancement has cucked me on corners a few times. I play Billy and boy the phantom hits are real.

I am taking the L, depipping, wasting my time on the ground, and losing any wee bit of BP I might have had. Hopefully the next person does the same, maybe that person will learn not to play that way, or maybe they won't.
Welp you have more faith in your fellow survivors than I

Ghostface and Freddy, depends on map

... Oh, okay. Didn't think of that before, thanks!
Now, for real, instead of talking about the issue you decided to write "gitgud". I wish we could do something about people like you.
The problem is that hitting survivors is surprisingly simple, xbox player btw.

I think 360s are dumb too. I know people say “its not a horror game yada yada” but the idea of someone spinning in a circle as fast as possible to avoid a hit from a knife wielding maniac just looks ridiculous.
That said it’s pretty much the only defence survivors have against Legion’s free hits so....
#Legionrework
Lmao think of it as the irl equivalent of ducking the blow. Happy now?

Wow, what a miserable person to play that way. I would have done the same, waited until all the gens were done to buy my team time, then dc'd. No rancor for you.
Nah you gotta be a homie and take the L, if you don't do it some other poor chap will :(
-
@McLightning said:
I'm actually with the OP here. I had someone trying to get the rancor challenge with Spirit last night. Right at the beginning of the game (before the first gen was done)they cornered me and blocked me, and then they slugged me and just camped my body, following me around where I crawled, letting the other survivors work on gens just so she could get the rancor.
Of course, my team mates weren't complete pepega's, and one got me up. I ran to a locker and Narnia'd that #########.
Like, honestly, if you're going to play like a dick just to get a challenge done, I'll respond in kind.
Haha happened to me too a couple times. So much for saving the best for last.

This is great. More risk = more reward.

Not really, with myers you need to stalk to even really get speed to catch up to someone to start a chase, unless someone bumps into you, you could flick your stalk on to try and find someone, the starting phase then finishes and you've done nothing to capitalise on it, it's essentially just like a normal match before it was added.
What about Myers rn is so bad he deserves free stalk time in addition to extra time to find survivors?
-
I'm sure someone suggested the buffs to Kindred or NOLB

I really like this idea, but I think that premonition should have no cooldown in the first place. Some other kind of Nerf or rework would probably be better, like making it only activate when the killer is in a chase. That way it gives you a lot of information, but it doesn't screw over trapper and hag.
Hmm that sounds pretty good
-
Nah free moris aren't my style. If I need to get a mori daily done I'll use one of my many cypress moris.

Yea he takes no skill :(

sure man, let me just end this chase w/an injured survivor to make sure no one is urban evading down one of the walls
be realistic for once
I'm sure you can end a chase before someone sneaks past you and finishes a gen 😁
-
You mean inefficient survivors? I just wish they didn't make it to red ranks, but that doesn't matter much anymore.
-
I don't want to hang around in a match against a killer who can't even pressure gens properly. We're both getting out with low bp and I have no qualms about that. The only sad part is that sometimes it's not their fault, it's matchmaking :(
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Matches like that aren’t about fun.
It’s about their ego.
An escape is a win, regardless of pips.
So that's why killers bring moris...

yeah.. and good luck 3 genning Azarov or Sanctum.. all it takes is 1 to sneak to the other side and it's over
Maybe that's why it's the killer's job to keep track of survivors?

3 people spawn together, 30 second gen w/o toolboxes.
and this whole "toolboxes are being looked at" is irrelevant until the moment something is done, because in the meantime they are still being abused
If you can't get to a gen in 33.33 seconds that sounds like a map/killer problem :/
-
@Hopesfall said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1069809#Comment_1069809
did i say that? i would like to believe that i can keep a gen from going off in the first 30-45 seconds of the match. like i said, it kills the whole mood of the match when a gen goes that early and you could've done nothing to stop it.. then we have people living in denial like this doesn't exist
I'm pretty sure this is only possible with toolboxes, which are being looked at.
-
Hmm does mmr affect matchmaking yet?
-
@Hopesfall said:
Pipping is mostly irrelevant.
If say the shack gen pops before I can even get there due to BNPs, it's a problem. It deflates the whole feeling of the match, "it's been 15 seconds and a gen is already done, cool, i have to sweat my ass off the entirety of the match to have a handful of decent chases"
real great experience that. Did survivors have fun when their teammates could be mori'd before a hook? what's the difference?
i don't understand how people fail to recognize this
Keeping all 7 gens is unrealistic though...
-
@NurseMainBTW said:
Yes, I like it very much on Nurse.
Unfortunately, it easily falls off in this meta where every survivor is expecting NOED, meaning that hexes really get to live little to nothing.
Haha yup, if it glows it goes
-
@Seanzu said:
I do like this idea, the start for Ghostface & Myers would have to be different, however, because they could all stalk without even getting into a chase and then decimate, and you can't simply set it to "if these killers stalk turn it off" because they're basically always trying to stalk.
It makes sense that once you're stalking you no longer need extra time to find survivors.
-
@Aura_babyy said:
Scott mentioned that the Trapper and Hag would have time to set up traps.
Inb4 all you have to do is just run at the killer beginning of the game to prevent that.
Yep needs fixing somehow...maybe require the killer perform an offensive action or chase action(vaulting, swinging, breaking pallet, gaining Bloodlust even)?

@xenofon13 said:
I don't have something else to do. Let's create a dbd discussion. "Charms suck"

Yea needs a rework, maybe they just make it an infinite range premonition with no cooldown that reveals your aura to the killer. That way it would work against Myers again.

They won't get punished for it as the game would start as normal once the timer is up meaning the killer still has to find, chase, down and hook one to get the pressure started.
Corrupt argument doesn't come into play the same was as the survivors still can do gens at full speed and as above the killer still has to find, chase, down and hook one.
It's very easy to not be found if one so wishes not too at the beginning if you don't run around, touch a gen or do anything as without whispers the killer doesn't know you are in the area. The logical thing to happen then is for the killer to move around patrolling all the gens while looking around. No indication means moving on to the next and timer doesn't change that.
While this change may help killers like trapper to setup it doesn't really help the other less mobile ones. When they have 7 gens to constantly check you could say after two rotations the timer is basically done.
The issue with gens isn't always about finding the first one but how long it can take some to down them.
I think both issues are major concerns. Besides, chase times are a map/killer problem while time to find someone can easily be remedied by a system like Scott's.

Oh, I absolutely agree. I've always thought that an early game slowdown was necessary. It's one of the reasons I was so mad about the Ruin nerf lmao.
Wth...depending on a perk sounds a little unhealthy.
-
This makes sense. The point of GF's power to me is that he has it until he's found. A survivor who's pointing at him obviously found him. This would probably also make his reveal easier to understand for newer players.
-
@theArashi said:
Talking about what if's I'm not sure that would really help as much.
Sure, trapper will get a small amount of time to set up one or two traps but I don't see it as much of an improvement.
If survivors spawn of seperate gens and you find a first one then all other gens will pop 20seconds later then they would currently.
This way Trapper could spend a minute setting traps and no more than 1 gen could pop(not factoring in toolboxes).

@thefallenloser said:
Posted a similar comment on the video yesterday, but the conditions for the warmup to end need to be specified a bit more, as they can be abused. Survivors can just run up to the killer and initiate a chase or sneak up behind a killer and hide.
The killer would see the trial warmup end and know a survivor is there...but yes I do agree something should be done so survivors can't instantly ambush trapping killers(or maybe not because I hate trapping killers as survivor lol).
-
My games are going the same, I just run Billy with PGTW, IF, SF, and Enduring if I want to get an easy 4k. Mostly I don't run IF and run bbq instead because juicy bp.
-
Land the hit? This sounds like a survivor complaining about skill checks.
-
This should be added ASAP.

To try to clarify the new issue happening in the comments lol.
Tunneling being based on tunnel vision is a common gaming term that implies negative connotations on a killer who has tunnel vision on one person despite better options. If you are the better option at the time. The killer did not choose to tunnel. He chose the better option.
Tunneling (as a gaming term) is an active choice and thus given a negative connotation.
Now, the better choice may SEEM like tunneling when in fact the killer is simply making the right and efficient move. That is why I made this post. To clarify that situations that are commonly deemed as tunneling are in fact the right move and NOT tunneling.
I believe in order to be "tunneling" you must have "tunnel vision". In order to have "tunnel vision" you must be focused on one thing and one thing only.
If you made a fresh choice that resulted in the same person going down. That was not "focused on one person" that was a fresh choice. If they had been "tunneling" then the choice wouldnt be a fresh one. If would have been made long ago and continually carried out. Because that's what tunnel vision is. And that's what is generally accepted as tunneling.
I hope this helps :) BTW I appreciate the input. I didn't want a post where the whole internet agreed. I expected peoples input and disagreements. I'm just trying to clarify and give definitions and examples.
So tunneling is near impossible because focusing the same survivor all game is the most efficient thing to do? You're right I guess, it's not tunneling, just focusing. "Lmao baby survivor if you don't want to be focused just get good and heal yourself instantly after being unhooked, you're making yourself the most efficient target by not knowing how to do so."
Sound right to you?

I nod at survivors when they make a great play. It's the opposite of Toxic. But I could be the exception to the rule. If I want to be toxic I would slug and camp. Or shake my head No.

Yes they are unnecessary movements used mostly to invoke a reaction in the opposing player. You will find that teabagging will be responded with nodding.
