But it's still wrong and horrible game play. All trolls have to do is run the basement aura perk and there is one free salty kill right there. Catch two in there trying for a rescue and you just killed half the team.

Then let the person in the basement die

  • Sellouts get tunneled or camped I don't care what you're doing I hate people who sell out their teammates

    grabs?

rancor And/Or S.T.B.F.L.? (MoM increases the chance of becoming the obsession)

    exposed?

    basically m2?

    billy?

    Leatherface?

    nurse?

" your aura is revealed to the killer " part?

    " don't tunnel the obsession " ?

    yeah. no counterplay at all.

Your aura being revealed is not counter play do you even know what that word means.

It's a consequence in a very easily negotiable one at that if your aura being revealed was a debilitating weakness Freddy would be a top tier killer.

Only a handful of Killers can actually rely on the M2 to avoid it so if you don't have a special m2 or instadown you're screwed that is not counterplay. For example if you play pig you cannot work around that.

Just so you know what's counted as a special M2 that's hatchets chainsaws and puke. So that is four Killers you can play to avoid the Perk excellent counterplay

Frenzy doesn't activated but you're going to have to hit the survivor four times which is a waste and with the new change it doesn't work counter it anymore.

You also bring up not to tunnel The Obsession when MoM reactivate after 3 Hits please try to kill a survivor without hitting them 4 times.

I mean there are ways to do it but all of them involve being very scummy to the survivors.

    Aka camping tunneling and Moris

    It is.

But the Devs stated that the intention is that Traps are used during the game to slow Survivors down and not saved until Endgame.

But endgame was always where it applied the most pressure.

Whilst using it throughout the game was good to slow it down because you had no other objectives to patrol during endgame it mean that you could search your jigsaw boxes and the survivors weren't able to leave until it got it off.

It's why Amanda had the best endgame with probably the only one be able to compete was Freddy if he was played right.

Now if this new change it's taken off a lot of pressure that piggy can apply it's also limits the amount of freedom and strategies that The Killer can apply.

Whilst survivors in comparison lose almost nothing in fact they even gain an easier time when going against the pig.

A smart and actually logical change to compensate for the endgame timer would simply be to make bear traps slow it down in the same way that a hooked or down survivor would.

What they simply did was remove a large portion of potential from pig and gave Amanda literally nothing in return

  • @fireplace123ttv said:

It’s the same as with legion - otherwise, it makes possible abusing the chase mechanics to set off the timer. It’s not as easy to do as with legion since it takes so long, but I suppose they didn’t like the capacity for her to do it end game

You can literally just follow the person crouched

  • 3 minutes for endgame was good to go and rescue someone and try to escape, now there is literally no point with only 2m to try something, just leave at this point, congratulations killers main always crying.

There's perk in the game called wake up if you want to open the exit gate quicker use it.

Honestly wake up should have received a buff instead of buffing the actual base opening speed

What do you mean "rarely" works? It's much better than Freddy's sleep, because it takes longer, and you're kind of exposed because the jigsaw box locations are known to killer, plus if you're running out of time the ticking can be heard from a distance.

Like I said, it's already next to impossible to escape for an injured escapee. They should be getting free adrenaline, which doesn't solve the issue, but at least mitigates it a little bit.

    A free adrenaline.

    I'm sorry I don't believe you you're trolling you're not real

Also if you're guaranteed to take it off in the first box then you're not really wasting much time with the trap on your head which like it or not is the main purpose of the Trap

  • 2.7.0 CHANGES: Everyone is crazy 2.1.0 CHANGES: No one complained..

Do you mean No one complained some survivors still won't shut up about it.

Hex ruin should have a time period for which it works in order for it to be fair to newbies/average players.

Pro players know how to efficiently find and destroy a hex totem quickly. And they understand the importance of it, having had huge experience playing the game.

As for hook camping, the simple solution would be slower entity progression the closer the killer to the hook is.

Slowing the progression or outright stopping it has already been done survivors abused the hell out of it by looping around the area.

So i hate this idea that perks “punishing killers for good play” are a thing/bad. Perks aren’t inherently meant to only be activatable when your opponent messes up. Do you have the same thought about NOED? What about Make Your Choice? Why should i be punished for safely unhooking my teammate? See how stupid that is?

Perks are perks, they should be a benefit to the person who uses them, not a punishment got bad play on the opponent. Also 3 hits isn’t defeating a survivor.

The difference is you can avoid make your choice or no one escapes death.

Unless you're playing a specific killer there is no getting around MoM.

You affected by make your choice you literally just have to be affected by make your choice you literally just have to avoid getting hit for 60 seconds.

No one escapes death can be be countered even before it's coming to play and if it has come into play you could simply just destroy the totem.

If a Survivor has MoM and you're playing someone like piggy you're screwed because you can't avoid it.

Actually I lie there is a way to avoid it.

    1) Camp the survivor until struggle stage and then immediately tunnel them for the death hook

    2) camp them until they die.

    3) camp them until they get rescued and then immediately mori them.

None of these are fun for the survivor or the killer.

Also to add insult to injury this perk synergises perfectly with things like borrowed time and Dead hard make it even more bullshit.

Say what you will about old decisive strike but at least you could have juggled the survivor to a hook if you are close enough

  • Wake up

  • As said above if you were the only person left alive and they're refusing to Hook you or mori spamming you you could possibly put that under griefing thing but it's not taking the game hostage.

Taking the game hostage only implies if you put someone in a situation where they could not continue the game or continue to the next game without disconnecting.

The body body blocking somebody into a spot permanently or a survivor going into an unreachable area.

If there's a way you could die it's not consider taking the game hostage.

    For example

A killer body blocking the basement whilst three people are hooked down there to stop the fourth from saving them isn't taking the game hostage.

If a piggy traps you in an area when you have an active reverse bear trap until it kills you it's not taking him hostage.

Slugging to prevent Hatch is also not taking the game hostage.

  • I grow tired of the body camping this needs to be addressed the points are not enough to stop the camping u play a perfect game then gates open u never been…

If exit gates are open what the hell do you expect them to do.

With the exit gates being open you have a very easy chance of escaping at that stage camping is one of the few ways to prevent losing their kill.

Unless they run endgame perks but then people will start whining and complaining about no one escapes death.

  • I doubt we'll see any individual killer touch ups until they finish the Freddy and Legion rework.

Once that's done we're probably going to get Bubba and then maybe Amanda getting touch ups

  • Pig could have rule set 2 in her kit Doc could have the imaginary pallets built in. Freddy could have pill bottle.

Amanda- I've always loved the rule set 2 idea

Doctor- I can't really agree honestly just making the add-on that makes his shock zone visible, part of his basic it would be fine.

Freddy- I can agree with that

Nurse- is fine where she is

Michael and Hag- I agree with Michael mainly because the shards are useless not so much with the Hag

Wraith- it would help his stealth potential so I think it's a pretty good idea

Trapper- I agree with the carrying more traps not with the naturally resetting

Clown: can't really agree with that so maybe faster movement speed whilst reloading.

    Plague- Hell no

  • @Cymer said:

    What counters MoM

    Hard face camping

    Instadowns from chainsaws

    Myers tier 3

    Graps (Trappers trap)

    Add-ons with instadowns

NOED, Haunted Ground, Rancor, if the survivor is fully healed.

    Plague Corrupted Veil

    Bugged Nurse Blink-hit

    Slugging until bleeding out

Not hooking or hitting the obsession until all gens are poped and you can Rancor them to death.

Pick your poison. What would be the most fun to play and to face?

    So

    Basically play a specific killer.

    Play a really annoying playstyle.

Hope you get lucky and have instadown perks activate before MoM becomes a problem.

Honestly that doesn't sound fun for either party

  • If you camp in any way, it means you aren’t really good at this game. if y’all like camping so much, go play fortnite or whatever

Sorry but if I managed to down you just before you were escape and the only hook that's close by is right by the exit gate there is no way I'm leaving you.

You can call me terrible or you like but I will camping crap out of it why because leaving you literally serves me no benefit when you're so close to the exit that if you get unhooked you could crouch your way out with no fear.

  • Ash came out after the store was introduced.

So the negotiations for getting the rights could have also consisted of cosmetics for him from the beginning.

Whilst with the other licensed killers and survivors they would have to reinitiate negotiations to get cosmetics for them which could be a difficult and time-consuming process

  • Wait there are clown mains. Ever since the clown got released I think I've seen a total of 6 clowns in general. Also I'm pretty sure two of them were the same person

I have to say that I did it too once or twice.

As @altruistic sayed it is just frustrating to slug me because you are greedy. I see that this is not the way to go, but have you ever concidered just killing the third one and go with a fair 3k?

Yeah, my argumentation sucks, i know and i am not proud of it. But i guess it was allready said that the "hatchplay" in this game sucks at all.

Slugging is no more fun for the killer than it is for the survivor.

It's not entertaining to have one survivor lying on the ground whilst you play find the immersed Claudette.

I don't enjoy it because I'm not chasing anybody I'm just spending my time patrolling somebody who's down on the ground.

Before I would just get my 3k and be happy but now with the new pip changes that's not the case anymore to increase my chance of even getting one pip I'm looking for that 4k.

Honestly if the hatch mechanic didn't completely suck ass I would actually feel a lot better risking the 4k.

  • It already does that

  • @Speshul_Kitten said:

It has too many counters already it’s fine. It’s just like NOED everyone loses in some way.

    What counters.

Other than insta down the perk doesn't really have anything that counters it.

Now you could say use The Killers power so it doesn't apply however that only the handful of killers with offensive powers.

Basically being huntress, plague and the chainsaw Bros

Ambush hits, blink hits and phasing hits all trigger it. So that means Amanda, Nurse and Spirit have no way of countering it.

Legion's frenzy doesn't trigger it however you're wasting a lot more time constantly using frenzy on somebody than you would if you just regular hit them

Clown, Hag, Trapper Wraith and Myers (not counting tier 3) can't counter it.

So please enlighten me how general Killers can actually counter this perk considering it has too many counters.

Or at least admit that you talking out of your ass

  • NoEd is getting really annoying...

Now this is coming from somebody who didn't typically call for defensive strike to be nerfed even though I feel like it needs a little to compensate for its new restrictions.

However I find that a lot of people tend to only bring up bad Killers when they're talking about no one escapes death but not those who generally use it because they like endgame builds.

As somebody who really got into running endgame builds because of monto and just generally how much I love help strong Killers like Amanda and Freddy can be in endgame if given the right build. I feel like it's really annoying that no one escapes death gets such a harsh reputation.

I’m bad cause it’s my fault the killer relies on a crutch perk, okay. It’s not like the killer did a terrible job or anything right? You’re defending a broken cause that ceases to provide any concrete evidence for the need to have a one shot perk as shallow as nOeD. I can only conclude you clearly are a nOeD crutch yourself you seem to deliberately provide bias examples of how it’s somehow a necessary mechanic which clearly is not, merely a “here’s a another try since you failed to do a killer’s job in this game” handed to you by the devs.

Noed is an endgame perk it's a high risk high reward perk to use.

Which can be said for any endgame perk because you're sacrificing perk slots for something that can either a) never activate or b get easily countered.

Now the counter to no one escapes death is something that can be done naturally you don't need a perk or anything else

Decisive strike was in the other can of worms. There was no proper counter to it.

    1) Dribbling was to situational and could potentially end up wasting more time than naturally just taking the decisive strike.

    2) both enduring and unnerving presence are not counter they don't prevent decisive strike from taking place they simply mitigate its effects and make it harder to hit respectively. The most you can call them is soft counters and even that's generous

Meaning a survivor could still very easily hit the defensive strike through a unnerving presence.

As for enduring though it can cut down on the time it takes for you to recover and reinitiate the chase how easy that chase goes solely depends on the area decisive strike was used. If used in the open then the survivors pretty screwed and is going down really quickly or if used nearer loop spot a survivor can essentially draw out the chase for another 30 seconds.

There is one issue tho. Some games are hard that people just try to survive and can't focus on totems at all. Then after all hard work noed pops and people go down instantly. It can be a game changer, turn the tables around, so it can be very powerful especially against fast killers.
Another issue with it. Go against a good Billy or Nurse whizzing around the map hook after hook, if you play well and get the gens done you can still get boned by NOED.

Yet killers cry survivors need more objectives just because some SWF stomped them.
First if you want to make a point about about killers try not to do it in the same breath as whining about something yourself.

No one escapes death is an end game perk.
endgame this may surprise surprise you to know is literally where the killer is at their weakest.

You can't contest with an open exit Gate and the killer is always at a disadvantage during hatch standoff.

Endgame perks are designed to give the killer more strength in the time when at their weakest.

Remember me: Exit gates takes longer to open giving killers precious time to down and hook survivors

Blood warden: Blocks the entrance to stop survivors from escaping and leaves them visible and vulnerable.

Rancor: Allows you to dispatch with the obsession quickly saving you time that would be wasted normally downing and hooking them.

Noed: allows the killer to instantly down survivors once again saving them time they would normally waste on a normal chase.

Whether you like it or not if endgame wasn't such a cakewalk for survivors perks like this would not have to exist.

The same way as Survivor is given the chance to escape and win in a situation where they get demolished by a killer through hatch, endgame perks allow the killer to salvage a lost game however unlike hatch it takes a perks slot to be able to use these hatch is free

Amanda's Letter seems good to me.

I'm not sure how I feel about Rules Set No. 2.  By itself, it seems like it would be a worse Tampered Timer, and with Tampered Timer, it could be too strong.  Either the gens come to a screeching halt for too long because doing them would probably sentence the RBT victim to death, or they don't and the Survivor is basically dead (if the Pig decides to harrass the RBT person), especially with the current RSN2 hypothetically being base kit.

My personal idea for Amanda's Secret is basically just to make it the Amanda equivalent of Freddy's Black Box add-on (Obsession starts with an RBT).

I am probably biased, but I personally don't like the Skill Check add-ons and think they should all be scrapped.  I GUESS your ideas are better than what we currently have.

I personally don't think Jigsaw's Sketch needs to be buffed at all, but if you were to try and modify it like that, I would add a downside to it.  Perhaps I'd cut the timer on Annotated Plan in half and give it to Sketch, so both Sketch and Annotated Plan would add 15 seconds to the clock, and using both together would still result in 30 seconds to the clock but with 6 boxes and an extra RBT.
I like the Amanda style black box idea.
It help save the whole pressure of getting a trap on somebody before a generator pops.

I think spreading the time penalty between the sketch and the annotated planes would make the annotated plans seem a lot less of a useless waste of blood points so I'm down for it.

Thanks for the feedback didn't actually expect anyone to really respond to him

If you're talking about the Killer tunnelling you it's not bannable.

If you met the killer a couple times spread out during the game session that's not bannable they're not targeting you specifically.

It's only bannable if the killer specifically goes out of their way just to encounter you ok lobby dodging until they fine you and solely targeting you.

    • DS: is easily countered by juggling 1-4 times before hooking and with unnerving presence

Can we please stop once and for all the DS/Hatch discussion?

Do you know diversion does because I really don't think you do.

Juggling only works when you're close enough to a hook there are times where you are simply not close enough to a hook to get someone in them over there.

If you're going to list of counters please don't use unnerving presence as it's very dependent on the survivors skill a better counter would be enduring and even with that you still lose can you spend downing that person
