I don't mind it but it has to be done once all the maps get reworked.
As there are still some loops that are way too save

Why an anti tunnel perk should have downsides?
Soo, hex perks should have downsides too.
Hex: Ruin
The killer cannot see survivor auras if the totem is activated.
You like it? I guess not
Hex perks do have a downside the fact that they can be destroyed very quickly and before they have taken full effect for example huntress lullaby and devour hope getting destroyed before you get full stacks.

It's latency; hatch jumping actually takes priority in most cases, in my experience as killer and survivor. If the killer is laggy, though, they'll obviously close the hatch before the survivor can jump in.
I'm pretty sure the Hatch closing takes priority with all the examples from my experience as a survivor and I a killer myself.
At least in this current stage if you feel in anyway shape or form the killer can contest you at Hatch immediately leave it.
However it does seem to be a very difficult issue to try to solve probably when dedicated servers come around they could make it so whoever clicks the button first wins
-
A true hero.
Save the other survivors from Killer's grasp three times each in one trial.
Solo Exit:
Close Hatch to prevent a 4 man hatch escape before the other three survivors can you jump into the hatch then sacrifice the remaining survivors.
Exceptional performance
Without any perks or add-ons sacrifice all the four survivors before a single gen is completed. ten times.
Or was I never really gone
Unhook then escape with another Survivor within the last 20 seconds of the endgame timer 15 times ( the survivor must be unhooked within the last 20 seconds to count)

Frank is 19 and senior
The Legion themselves are just teenagers with the youngest being 15 or 16

The entire reason why I even voiced my opinion was because I didn't think Mettle was in as bad of place as many people make it sound. Not everyone was using it as many claimed, many didn't even get to use it at all. (From my experience playing killer)
Your whole argument is about how Mettle doesn't have a counter, and yet they created no counter. Are you going to not hit a survivor trying to take a protection hit now? It will have the same exact result. I won't be surprised if (the same) killer players still complain about it after the change goes through.
We can agree to disagree on Spirit Fury, because I think there are many things that can factor into getting a pallet down before the stun. I mean, as it is, you can throw the pallet down and the killer run up to it (while being 4 feet from it) while it's down and still count as a stun. I've gotten stunned in places I shouldn't have. Still this perk has little to no counter, so I was just comparing it's similarities of how very little effort it took to proc it, much like Mettle.
The change that is coming you actually have to earn your invulnerable stage the Perk gives you rather than the killer doing all the work and you get him all the benefit.
When something has no counter, is that easy to get and offers a considerable reward if there's a problem.
Let's compare it to another very controversial but no one escapes death.
This perk might give you a considerable reward and is relatively easy to get however it can be countered before it even comes to play and even once it comes into play you can remove it just as easily.
Now there still may not be a counter but you now have to earn your considerable reward which I'm perfectly fine with.
Basically what I'm saying is there are three things to a perk
1) does it have counters
2) do you have to earn your reward
3) does it give you a considerable reward
Bad or broken perks will give a negative response for all these factors and I mean all 3
Either it has too many counters or too few
Either you have to do way too much to earn it or way too little
Either it doesn't give you a considerable reward or it gives you too much of a reward.
I'm perfectly fine with a perk negatively checking one or two of these factors however when it's all three the purchase either complete rubbish or broken.
I found being honest I personally don't have a problem with MoM but I do have a problem with it's overpowered synergy.
Dead hard
Defensive strike
Adrenaline
When perks combined with MoM it can drag out the time of a chase to ridiculous standards.
As I said before I have no problem with a survivor using loops and skill to waste a Killers time that's their job however when you have a perk build that could basically can do it for free, so any braindead skilless potato can waste a killer's time that's when I have a problem.

@Johnny_XMan said:
A counter isn't simply preventing it, but getting rid of it counts as a counter. It guarantees you will not see it again.
So how can you counter the perk now? Or are you going to pretend like you don't need to hit anyone? The full effect was and is still there.
"However the current version of MoM will always waste time that the killer just doesn't have."
Oh. I wasn't aware that we were on a killer's watch. I'll make sure that next time I'm in a chase, I don't get chased for too long.
Nice strawman. Little hint using a straw man never helps your argument in fact it makes it seem more weak.
Once again what you described is not a counter you win no way shape or form countered it, the perk did it's job.
Also a good survivor can waste The Killers time without the use of a perk MoM normally if a survivors waste of your time a killer can abandon the chase or mind game the survivor to get the down.
Put this to you in a very simple terms
You counter spirit Fury and enduring by throwing the pallet down early with no stun they don't benefit.
You countered nurses Calling by not healing in The Terror radius if you are up against the killer with a low terror radius perks like spine chill can warn you when not to heal.
These are counters they prevent the thing from taking full affect.
Hitting the survivor again has done nothing to counter MoM has already gone off and it has already been successful in its objectives whether you hit that survivor again or not the perk would go away you didn't counter anything what you did was a trigger the perk.
-
Oh you don't counter it you could very easily just slug the person who got of Hook and look to disrupt some other people.
They're going to be forced to go and pick them up anyway so instead of just waiting 60 seconds leave them on the ground and do something else
-
So you're basically making it a more useless and detrimental unbreakable

You can also counter mettle by hitting the survivor one more time.
You don't know what a counter is do you I'm honestly assuming that because I don't want to insinuate that you're that dense.
If you have to hit the survivor again you didn't counter the perk it's still went off the effects still happened.
That's about as dumb as me saying hey to counter no one escapes death get hit so you know if it's active.
With dropping the pallet early the perk will never take effect doesn't matter how many pallets the killer breaks if they don't get stunned it's pointless.
However the current version of MoM will always waste time that the killer just doesn't have. There is nothing they can do about it unless they're playing a killer with a damaging based ability and even then that doesn't count.

Ghostface really feels like an awkward baby of Amanda and Michael.
So the last thing we need is even less reason to pick him considering Michael would outclass him even more
-
Thrill of the hunt: no longer a hex perk it's meant to defend your hexes making it a hex is very counterintuitive.
Small games: Add a counter that reveals how many totems are currently on the map
I also know this is a bit cheaper but I'm going to throw some of the ghost's perks up here ( I refuse to call him the ghost face)
I'm all ears: any noise notification made out of your terror radius will reveal the maker's aura for 6 seconds. (This includes rushed actions, skillcheck failures, and unhooking for the rescuer only)
Thrilling tremors: honestly lower the cooldown or just remove it considering it only activates once you pick up or interrupt a survivor it really doesn't need a cool down
Furtive Chase: just make it so you don't lose your tokens The Obsession is killed. it can already take a while for it to stack and situations where it's beneficial aren't massive so the downside of losing your stacks it's really unnecessary.
It should be a similar idea to what was used for Save The Best For Last. Getting all those stack only just to lose them if the obsession dies is a complete waste of time and Save The Best For Last is more useful so I don't know why furtive chase is that crippled
-
Fix no mither.
Honestly it's fine as it is if anything it just needs a quality of life change for example bonus bloodpoints or an increased reduction injured noises
-
Surveillance
Rancour
Save The Best For Last
I picked these simply because of two events that happened in the past.
Not gonna lie I came off off as a bit of a sadistic scumbag in those situations
-
I've always loved Legion
-
So far when it comes to the small Killers
Legion
Amanda
Ghostface
Freddy
Are all meant to retain regular human features.
Freddy the only abnormal thing about him appearance wise is his burns otherwise he's pretty regular human.
Amanda is meant to be a regular woman just wearing a pig head which is the only abnormal thing about her appearance wise.
The Legion is literally a group of four separate teenagers just wearing masks
Ghostface is a random psychopathic journalist who just goes on a killing spree in a disguise.
The fear from these guys comes from what's hidden in the normality. That your next door neighbour who is practically normal in every way could turn out to be a homicidal maniac. To quote a chapter title The Darkness Among Us
Then you have people like Myers, Clown, Huntress and Trapper who are supposed to look off due to the massive statue they meant to be intimidating.
They're probably the second the line of Regular looking people but it's that slight thing about them that just makes them intimidating without knowing them
They're meant to be just that abnormal and threatening in the back of your from the get go.
Then you have those who are deformed and twisted people who immediately set off alarm bells they're not normal and deceptively safe like the small killers.
They also don't give you that slight on edge feeling like the larger statue Killers
This is your Billy, Doctor, Hag,Spirit and Wraith
Phonetically speaking I like the variation between each and every killer they speak to different fears and different worries
-
@Boss said:
You'd get a lot of people wanting to take masks off from other Killers.
Trapper, Nurse, Huntress, Shape, Cannibal, Pig.
I think they won't happen because the killer would still have to be with vaguely recognisable from a distance.
So the cosmetics wouldn't be able to deviate too much from the original.
The clearing obvious pig head is easy to tell that it's Amanda while you can get checked out from behind if you're not paying too much attention it should still be simple to tell.
With the Legion this is possible as the mask is very superfluous to their design as the main theme of all deleted members are hooded figures and all the bodies which will not change still retain the hood
-
Well I possibly don't feel like she should move in the full movement speed.
Because there are some scummy pigs that will make the game really and fun for some survivors by Crouch tunneling them when they have a reverse bear trap.
Thinks she should move her at the same speed as tier 1 Myers when she crouches would mean that she still is able to get decent map pressure rather than being crippled by moving slower than nurse.
It would also help her when she's using Amanda's letter as she would be able to stay in Crouch a lot more frequently as it doesn't waste a whole lot of time
-
Well with every killer clown onwards they could just make their personal chapter theme their terror radius theme or at least of version of it.
It probably wouldn't be too hard to create music for the other Killers the problem is with Killers like Amanda and Bubba
The Iconic saw theme isn't actually owned by the licence holder of the saw franchise so making a specific radius film based on it is unlikely
-
If you're aware that the killer knows where the hatch is just go by a door.
Using your logic as you described for killers it would be incredibly easy for a survivor to see where the hatch is and just camp it and wait for someone to die.
-
I feel like that kind of negates the point of having the battle pass in the first place.
Would be no point in getting the battle pass as you could just wait for your favourite x cosmetic to come on to the store
Cosmetics that you get from it or at least the premium side anyway should be a nice little badge of honour for completing the work to get it or paying your way there depending on how you decide to go.
When it comes to exclusives the only ones I have a problem with is exclusives that are locked to a specific region or platform not everybody has access to it. (L4D content, Golden Min and the deathgarden cosmetics)
If it's a time one that anyone could get if they do it during the time limit I'm fine with it
-
He watched any of the Scream movies ghostface is never a consistent killer it's literally people who put on the mask for completely different reasons while they all might be tied towards Sidney, it's always different people putting on the mask.
In fact the role was so easily ambiguous that for three and of the four movies there were two people interchangeably playing the ghost face role.
So then making their own original character to fit the mask is not a complete miss track from the franchise.
-
From what we seen about ghostface he seems to be a bit of a narcissistic douche but also very over-the-top.
So it wouldn't surprise me then he's just doing it for the fun of it actually it's quite possible that he'd simply does it to show it to the other Killers.
we know that the members of the legion were from the 90s so it's likely that they have phones as well.
-
Honestly the only killer I can see making good use of it who would want their terror radius to be reduced during a chase is Legion
-
So it's super easy for a survivor just a camp Hatch whilst the other person's being hooked.
As the killer has no chance of actually getting to the hatch that's basically going to lead back to the issue of slugging the second to last survivor whilst you go find the last one.
-
This was a problem a while back but because there was no real check on whether you had the DLC and how it impacted your offerings you would often get a chance of getting the offering to play DLC killer on said DLC killer.
For example an offering that allows you to play doctor on the doctor or like you explained play Amanda on Amanda.
After a while they implemented the system that made it so that if you had a DLC or if you had a character you would no longer receive on offering for that specific character.
Honestly if you don't plan on prestiging Amanda and I suggest you keep it. it's a decent collectible as it's not possible to ever get it on her.
-
Honestly I've always been in support of the small games idea.
The issue with totems is that I feel like they should never spawn directly next to an object of interest.
Generators.
Jigsaw boxes.
Cleansing fountains.
Basically anything that requires the survivor go to that position
Don't mind them being by hooks or loops. As you could avoid hooking somebody by your Totem and most of the time of somebody is looping they're not really paying much attention to totems.

Well she didn't kill people for the fun of it. It was more because she was mentally and emotionally unstable and she was projecting her own failures falling back into dangerous habits onto her subjects and since she thought she couldn't change she didn't even give them a chance.
She still felt an extreme amount of guilt for the people dying in fact the only people who she seemed to have no remorse for was Eric Matthews and detective Kerry. That was probably the false evidence planted against her and Kerry's relationship with Eric
-
Yes closing the Hatch would trigger endgame.
Regardless if it was opened by a key or if it was opened by the natural mechanic
This is coming from somebody who tried to escape with their two other friends through the Hatch only to have it closed on the other two whilst I escaped

I would love to see Meg and Min get some hoodie cosmetics.
Min because of the bunny / Kawaii concepts still being on my wishlist
Meg because if by some miracle they managed to sort out the body / head issues. I feel like walking around with Meg with a hoodie plus the deathgarden mask would trick everyone into thinking you're the legion
-
I would agree if blood wouldn't only affected oneself.
But because it affects every survivor it really shouldn't reduce the time.
-
I would definitely love to see her crouching speed get boosted.
Definitely on my list for Crouch and ambush changes
-
With the new changes to enduring I doubt that will be a problem anymore
-
Survivor: Alert.
So very good detection perk and it makes running a stealth build really nice if you could keep a decent track of the killer and which generator recently kicked.
I've even been able to find generators that are almost complete because I saw the killer breaking them.
Killer: surveillance.
Love the design of the pack it looks really nice the only other killer perk that competes terms of design is mad grit.
It's also really good for tracking any cheeky gen taps
-
Not once did I call what the survivor did taking the game hostage.
There's a reason why I brought that point up was because you were complaining about a very insignificant amount of time when there was situations that were perfectly allowed by the way and which you defend by saying go look for them where the survivors stall for a lot longer.
You do know 4 minutes is basically nothing as I've stated before you go make yourself a sandwich, go use the bathroom, watch some YouTube or listen to your favourite song. Basically do something other than just standing there and waiting.
Not only did I have a problem with you complaining about the insignificant time I also had a problem with the fact that you constantly throw out the word taking the game hostage like it's candy.
The reason why I also bring up tunneling and camping is because they are also things that get thrown around way too often hell it gets to the point where these things have pretty much become they played the way I don't like so I'm going to just find a nice big juicy controversial label to stick on it.
As you've said already it's a dick move that is it.

Am I the only one who almost always has extremely bad luck when it comes to RBTs?
Every since I started playing Jane, I tend to die to bear traps frequently whenever they are placed on me. It's insane on how badly things go for me. Either the boxes are so spread out that I die attempting to run to them, Pig tunnels me in such a way that my timer still goes down even when she's clearly chasing me resulting in my demise, or something else. Something almost ALWAYS goes wrong, and it results in my demise.
To be fair, I've also gotten Skill Checks at extremely bad times and been tunneled + camped by killers. (Killers can't leave me and my fat behind alone apparently. 😥)
The RBTs can actually be very effective if Pig applies the smallest amount of pressure on Survivors trying to use boxes.
Either that, or again just super bad luck as Jane.
Well that's obvious it's because your dummy thicc and your ass cheeks keep clapping alerting the Killer

I love the add-on however it is very map dependent.
Basically playing a slightly weaker version of scratched mirror Myers you don't have as much range or the detection immunity.
But you can go back to standard movement speed whenever you like however the actual aura reading requires you to move slower than this.
It's an amazing add on even though it's not dependent but it could probably could use some TLC
-
As much as I don't agree with lobby dodging there is a massive difference between disconnecting in the middle of a game and screwing everybody over.
Avoiding the match before it even starts.
With the former you heavily reduce your teammates chance of survival also impacting The Killers bloodpoints and emblems.
It also just makes the game incredibly unfun as now survivors have an extremely difficult time and as a killer the match that could have been fun just turned into work really pathetic cakewalk that I'm not going to get much reward from.
Not to mention the fact that that match now has wasted add-ons items and offerings
As for the latter you lose nothing other than having to just wait for another match which can be annoying but it's nowhere near as detrimental as the former
-
There is a perk in the that allows you to open exit gates faster instead of asking for faster gate opening speed to be added to the baseline kit ask them to buff the perk.
Is also one thing I've have a problem with survivors are very quick to disown a team when they bad but I never really see someone saying oh I didn't really do much this match and my team basically carried me I should give the killer the hook.
Basically when a team is bad it's unfair that you get stuck with them because they drag you down but when a team is really good and they end up carrying you that's totally fair on you deserve to escape
-
Honestly if anything dance with me just needs a cooldown reduction it doesn't really need to apply to other exhaustion perks.

@Aari_Piggy66 Just because one survivor done that to you, doesn't mean that you, or any other killer, should have the right to do anything similar to anyone else, and yes, 4 minutes is a long time to remain unable to play the game at all. At least a killer CAN look for whoever is hiding. The EGC was a solution to issues like this, but now killers are looking for ways to target Survivors with similar attitudes that get around the EGC. While 4 minutes is not 2 hours, it's still a long time to be basically AFK from a game you're playing, especially combined with the queue times for survivors to get in new games. I am playing less games than I am waiting generally, so 4 minutes is a lot of time. As a killer, I can generally get a queue within 15 seconds, so 4 minutes wouldn't be a huge amount of time, but if I was unable to do anything during that time, I'd still have a problem with it. The survivor is unable to do anything in this time frame, the killer is just toying with them, so it is holding the game hostage.
Again no it is not taking the game hostage whether you like it or not.
Honestly this is one of the things then massively annoying me about certain survivors who throughout these words and accuse killers of doing things that they clearly not doing.
It's like people who run around like headless chickens after being pulled off the hook and then unsurprisingly end up running into the killer only to start yelling tunneler.
Is taking a game hostage has been explained by the developers multiple times what you consider to be holding the game hostage is irrelevant if it's not what the Devs have states.
So I'm going to explain this in baby steps for you.
If you are being held for a time limit that is not holding the game hostage.
So a killer slagging you until you bleed out is not holding the game hostage.
If Amanda body blocks you was you have an active bad trap on until it blows up and kills you. it's not holding the game hostage
If you are slugged or chased around until the EGC kills you. it is not holding the game hostage
If there is any way that The Killers able to body block someone to avoid them from getting the hook save and rescue you. it is not holding the game hostage
Is the killer trapping you in an area and not leaving just waiting for you to disconnect. Congratulations that's holding the game hostage.
Has a survivor gone into a spot where you physically can't hit them no matter what so The Killer is forced to disconnect. Congratulations that's holding the game hostage.
Did another survivor trap you in a place until you're forced to disconnect. Congratulations that is also holding the game hostage.
Do you understand what I'm laying out, can you see the pattern
Or are you still going to ignorantly throw the holding the game hostage phrase out because you think it makes your argument more compelling.
-

@Zarathos it's actually 3 minutes if you're downed, and generally they have downed me, left me on the ground and followed me until the entity takes me, leaving me unable to do anything. Also if the killer WILL NOT play the game right, they ARE holding the game hostage. If a survivor is going around cleansing totems etc, you can still hit them. If they're far enough from the exit gates you may even be able to kill them. As a Survivor you are literally helpless when you're crawling on the ground. Also if it's not right for Survivors to hang around at the end of the game, then it'd be hypocritical to say that it's alright for Killers to because Survivors did in the past.
Somebody playing the game in a way that you don't like it's not holding the game hostage.
Let me explain to you what holding the game hostage is if you put somebody in a situation where the game cannot continue unless they disconnect or unless you yourself allow them to continue it.
If a killer chooses to wait out the time limit that is not holding the game hostage as the timer will kill you off allowing you to continue to the next game.
And this is coming from a person who once had a survivor literally remain in the game for almost 2 hours hiding with both exit gates open because they were annoyed I apparently tunneled.
If 4 minutes on the ground is too much for you then I legitimately don't know what to say to you
-

So I understand that current DS serve as a tool against filthy campers and tunnelers. Okay. I get and appreciate it. But old DS did it as well and even more.
A bit of balance. What you got rewarded for failing a chase.
Like it or not the skillcheck was not difficult to hit and it basically mean that you got waste the killer's time for free.
The way it is now is actually a lot more balanced it punishes tunneling but doesn't reward you just randomly getting down.
The Killers that aren't tunneling or camping aren't punished for doing their jobs
