The one thing that annoys me about these types of discussions especially when the initial post was brought up is that it is never something that happens when it is a straight relationship or a character that is not LGBT.
No one complained about things being forced when it stated that Frank and Julie are dating.
No one complained about it being forced and not necessary in a horror game when David was revealed to have an ex-girlfriend.
No one complained and said it should be left to the player when a lot of Ace's cosmetics reveal him to be a ladies man.
However at the mere hint that they might start including LGBT characters or a confirming some characters in LGBT a lot of people come out of the woodwork and suddenly start complaining about stuff they were perfectly fine with.
Words like pandering, forced, retcon and shoved down our throats is paraded around constantly without any thought as to the context because if people took 2 seconds to think about it they would realise it doesn't make sense.
Everything panders- the hot chick in horror films doesn't strip because of a plot. It's to get horny butts in seats
Saying something is forced is incredibly ridiculous when you haven't even seen how it's written yet.
Retcon this is my personal favourite because it proves people don't know what the hell is word means. If nothing has been established it can't be retconed.
Shoved down your throat when it was initially promise to that it was that sexual orientation is wouldn't play a factor and it would be left open to interpretation having 7 characters blatantly be revealed as straight is totally not shoving it down people's throat.

For the most part I agree with him.
I feel like survivors need to have counterplay and need to have options.
Whether those options put them at more risk or not is up to them and how the killer plays but the options should still be there.
Problem with old Legion was that even though they were weak because they had no counterplay you were basically screwed you were on a ticking timer no matter how good you were whether it was 30 seconds or 3 minutes you were guaranteed to go down.
Honestly this is why people usually said Billy you was the pinnacle of balance his add-ons were problem but his base kit was fine.
I have a similar problem with Pig I love Amanda don't get me wrong she's my main but tampered timer as an add-on when combined with jigsaw sketch or crate of Gears is just unfun to go against.
Either you get a free rng head pop that the survivor had no way of stopping as it's been proven you will not be able to do it no matter how good you do with the skill checks or the add-on feels absolutely pointless and is just a waste of time to use there is literally no in-between

I agree. Has anyone tried this on other characters? Because id love to see legion running around in a big ass bunny head with small clothes.
She doesn't have a set cosmetic but you would be able to do the same glitch with Feng Min as just like Nea her recolour are just the top and the legs without any head cosmetic.
I just wanted to double check the survivors.
Nea
Min
David
Kate
Adam
Jeff
Jane
Zarina
Deathslinger
All don't have head cosmetics on their actual recolours meaning you would be able to do this glitch with all those characters if they do get sets

Zubat used the Legion Dia De Los Muertos mask with the Silent Hill bunny suits.
It was a floating mask.
It's possible.
Sadly with Legion it will be activate the second you enter a match or switch them out

You're cherry picking probably one of the best Dead by daylight players to make your point and completely fundamentally forgetting spirit advantages of a Legion.
Spirit moves faster and has the ability to actually down somebody.
Spirit is not punished for messing up attacks Legion is.
Spirit power is considered a basic attack which means it works on all on hit effects which includes exposed.
Spirit have more advantages when it comes to tracking than survivors. She can see scratch marks and hear survivor sounds and with a specific add-ons you can also see blood stains.
This means that despite the inability to see survivors a good spirit can very easily track down where people are survivors you have no way of knowing where the spirit is beside the whoosh if you're not in The Terror radius.
Legion is tracking is purely direct line of sight visual on the survivors and killer instinct they can't see scratch marks and they can't see blood stains. This means if killer instinct is not currently active and you managed to stealth a Legion they won't not know where you are.
Also most importantly and I'll see this again you're comparing a non-lethal power and a lethal power.
That is legitimately like comparing the doctor's shock and pyramid head's punishment wave because they both shoot a floor wave in front of you and both go through walls

I feel that survivors should be free to pull risky plays like working on a generator with a reverse bear trap on if they so choose however there should also be a risk at not taking off the trap and to make a risky you have to make the traps actually feel threatening
That definitely makes sense, but currently I feel like the risk of working on a generator instead of going for the boxes is not high enough unless you use very specific add-ons to make the odds of dying to the RBT higher. Currently the fire being lit under trapped Survivors is very small, despite the fact that the penalty is straight-up death.
Don't worry I definitely agree with you the rest should definitely be higher if you want to pull off a move like working on a generator with a reverse bear trap on you shouldn't have an easy ride in fact you should feel more pressure than people who are already searching boxes.
I personally I think that the options should be there yeah but having an active travel and definitely needs to be a massive threat.
This way and actually discourages that specific action unless you have a plan in mind if you don't go in with a plan you could end up potentially getting yourself killed

Why do you need a bunch of explosions when one literally tells you there are 2+ survivors over there already?
And just with that you completely missed the point of why it's better as I've said previously people have given you reasons why tier one is better you say that you just don't like to one because you don't like the amount of Explosions that is a personal preference.
I hate to repeat myself because I already put this down when somebody questioned the explosions but it seems you don't read the posts here.
Honestly if you can't be bothered to read the explanations people have given you I can't be bothered to retype it or requote it so you just get a screenshot

Well yeah that’s your personal preference but as the devs and a lot of others enjoy current t3 they said they won’t change it plus if they did it would spark issues as you can always tier it up to 3 we wouldn’t be able to go back to 1 if we prefer current discordance
You phrase it like I'm the only person who has this opinion objectively from an information and usability standpoint tier 1 is better.

IMO having bear traps be deadly is the wrong way to go. With certain add ons and RNG Pig can effortlessly get kills.
It would be a lot better if the reverse bear traps had a direct effect on the survivor until they get the helmet off. For example reduced (-20%) action speed? The boxes auras aren’t visible to the survivors until a generator has been completed.
The box is not being visible until a generator is completed is incredibly bad because it makes survivors who wants to complete a generator instead of forcing them to stall out.
Also if you actually read the post I put down you would see that I want tampered timer to be changed for that exact reason as with RNG it makes it practically impossible to survive if you're unlucky.
Also chunking on ridiculously annoying amount of action speed penalty is not a good way to go either just look at forever Freddy it made the game actively boring and unfun to play.
I feel that survivors should be free to pull risky plays like working on a generator with a reverse bear trap on if they so choose however there should also be a risk at not taking off the trap and to make a risky you have to make the traps actually feel threatening

Wrong t3 is actually the better version it’s only your personal preference and opinion that it’s not
If you think that's OK that's fine but the vast majority of people have have already stated it several times that T1 is a lot better.
Otz even did a whole video about it

@Dead_by_Gadfly said:
Some of us prefer t3 over t1. I prefer the longer aura read than the noise spam
Noise spam isn't the reason why people like it at T1.
The reason why is that the information it provides is a lot more valuable and reliable with tier 3 because the Aura reading stays for so long the gen that you're going to could have been completely abandoned by the time you get there.
At T1 you get a consistent bit of information on whether it's abandoned or whether they are still two people working on it

@TAG said:
I disagree on Face Mask being okay. I think it's garbage. All four of the "Survivors wearing a Reverse Bear Trap suffer from the ________ status effect" add-ons should be changed IMO.
From my experience, Tampered Timer isn't nearly as potent as Scorpionz described. If anything, it's a bad add-on because unless someone straight-up dies to the Reverse Bear Trap (which they probably won't, even in the most ideal scenario for the Pig), the add-on does absolutely nothing. That said, I support changing it because of that, as either it does EVERYTHING and kills someone or it does NOTHING and rots with no real control over it (short of just crouch-tunneling someone to death). I always seem to waffle on how I feel about an add-on that auto-starts the RBTs. I guess if there's no Tampered Timer, it's fine? I don't like the idea of making it so finishing more gens strikes off more time from a Trap.
Amanda's Secret and RSN2 should be completely gutted and reworked entirely, yes.
I think Amanda's Letter simply needs the downside removed. As-is, it only really puts in work on in-door maps, and I don't think upping the aura-reading is going to fix that (especially if you're going to completely gut the RBTs entirely).
@BaldursGate2 said:
Amanda's Letter should have no downside period. It's the same what wraith has, without any penalty.
I guess it's just me personally but I love the idea of Amanda's letter transforming Amanda from a stall killer to a pure ambush based killer.
Honestly I think it just needs to be tweaked so it reflects that quality even if basically take away from her stall and majorly buff her ambush.
Increased aura reading is one thing
But also increasing the movement speed when you're crouched can be something else.
If you power up the ambush enough it will be more worth the downside of losing tribes but turn Amanda into a pretty dangerous stealth killer.
Basically in a similar way to how scratched mirror turns Myers from a snowballer into a jumpscare ambusher

@Ihatelife said:
What do you want to change into her basekit? 😀
Honestly her base kit as it is, is pretty much good I don't want them to mess around with it too much just look at Billy.
Increase her base Crouch movement speed.
Rework how jigsaw box skill checks work even make them more difficult naturally or allow the killer to build synergy builds that does so.
Aside from those two changes there's not much I would say needs to be done to Pig.
I'm just worried if they try to implement a cooldown or a recharge system for her
-
@PigMainClaudette said:
You know what's even worse about the box skill checks, especially with the add-ons? They still give GREAT skill checks! They actually help experienced players get them off faster!
If they made the skill checks actually silent from the beginning or even harder than a DS check, then maybe she could be somewhat scary.
Necessary thing though is to just remove the Great result. They're just too beneficial for survivors.
This usually isn't the first time I've brought up the problems with the Jigsaw box skill checks but anytime any pig player does they usually get shouted out about how the bear traps aren't meant to kill completely ignoring the fact that that's not what we're asking for.
We're actually asking for them to be afraid that might make survivors worried about if a generator pops not something that survivors can just casually finish a gen whilst they have a reverse bear trap on their head and then go take care of it
-
Btw I make this list specifically because after seeing what happened with Billy and the nurse I don't want them to completely cripple Amanda's add-ons there are a lot of them they don't need to be changed.
There are a lot of them that needs to be changed for specific reasons
There were some of them that don't need to be touched but they need some tweaks to her basic kit or synergy for them to actually be able to work.
I was a high advocate for Amanda to get a add-on pass I'm also a high advocate for Legion to get redo their add-on pass as their one was completely rushed.
But I am genuinely worried and that if touch Legion or Amanda they are just going to make their add-ons worse.

I think they just lose their memories prior to arriving in the fog. I think they’re aware that they keep dying over & over again, because that’s what slowly drains them of hope. I could be wrong. But if they can remember that, they can probably remember conversations and form lasting relationships with other survivors.
I don't think that would make very much sense as they all retain their skills from real life in certain methods.

Time may be messed up, but that doesn’t mean he encountered everything before us. Did he know about specific killers before us? Yes. But if his quotes are missing, that means he hasn’t written about them, so he hasn’t had a chance to see them. And if he didn’t see the new killers, he definitely didn’t see the new survivors (which would be more likely because there are 4 of them in a trial.)
Could I be wrong? Possibly, the Archives are giving us journal entries, whether from Benedict or Vigo. Maybe they were lost to the fog at some point.
I've always had the theory that he was the first person to slowly start to become a killer or at least The Entity was starting to put the restrictions on The Killers about going after him.
This would make sense as from Amanda and clown seem to outright ignore him which he interprets as a second chance and seeing him as too aware respectively
However when you think about it this doesn't actually make sense for each of them.
Amanda deluded herself into the impression that she was correct with her nobody deserves a second chance mentality and sees the entity as a pseudo John figure there is no way I could see her giving someone a second chance. Unless you were specifically told to.
We know that clown is a very sadistic man on so it makes no sense for him to leave it with potential victim by himself even to the stage way he simply nodded in acknowledgement to him.
So it's quite possible that The Killers were told not to go off to him or simply notice something in him that is making them leave him be but considering it stopped after clown that idea kind of fell flat

I'm gonna have to agree here in that I also really enjoyed that small stories were hinted at in add on details but we rarely, if ever, get to see those. I blame Dark Souls for turning me onto that type of sparse but very intricate and intriguing story telling but damn if it doesn't make for some compelling searches for more of the narrative.
Don't get me wrong I absolutely love Dark Souls storytelling but the problem with it is it tends to turn the community into rapid defensive people when it comes to them story ideas.
Dark Souls story is incredibly vague and up to interpretation for the most part the missing bits and pieces allows you to interpret your own logic however people usually have a set idea mostly once they've gotten from their favourite YouTubers but they will legit want to slit your throat if you try to have a dissenting opinion about.
Honestly Dead by daylight kind of initially had this Legion being one of the prime examples ( I love them but even when it came to lore they were causing problems)
The idea that Legion was a split personality killer what's something that the community jumped on with little to no actual concrete evidence yeah the initial teaser didn't give enough away for that assertion to be made.
The idea that the cleaner the Legion killed was Jeff's father as I've mentioned in another post this makes sense if you only glance over The Legion's and Jeff's lore but the second you actually sit down and think about it for more than 10 seconds you'll realise it has a crap ton of plot holes which made that not the case. ( if the devs intended for to be that way they wrote it incredibly bad)
Also don't even get me started on the utter retcon that was Legion archives it literally gave me the impression that whoever writes the lore for the archives and does the cutscenes have never actually look at the characters backstory

Broken as in, actually not working as it should. There is no way an add-on that useless is intended, same with Stab Wound Study.
It is completely intended my friend.
Stab wounds study and Franks mixtape are meant to be like that.
Legion players have been asking for those to be changed since the legion rework. They went back and edited the pins so you don't need to double tap whilst day left Franks mixtape and stab wounds study so my only takeaway is that that is intentional.
As for the increasing killer Instincts detection range yeah it's pretty much useless I have no idea why they took away the speed add-ons. I mean I do the Legion rework was rushed as hell.
The same excuse was given as to why the Legion initial frenzy speed was lowered because it would be broken with the new duration yet it absolutely wasn't as they've increased it and it's not broken.
I still think they really need to return the speed add-ons rework Franks mixtape and stab wounds study

I'll try to be respectful with this: I think I speak for the majority of this community when I say, this Hillbilly change is one of the worst ideas conjured by the developers.
The developer update states that the devs were happy with how Hillbilly performed. If this is true, then why was he changed?
There's no good reason for Hillbilly to get this nerf. The developer update says it's to make him require more skill, and be more punishing for misusing his power. The question is, what determines skill? WHO determines skill? It's very hard to determine skill in this game because there are so many different variables. Like maps, perks, how good the survivors are, swf, among other things. Making a killer harder and less easy to use, especially one of the most balanced killers, is not the way to go about improving the health of the game.
Many of his add-ons are also disappointments. Neither of his ultra-rares are deserving of the rarity, and his best add-ons are brown and yellow. The developers seem to be afraid of making strong add-ons. Which I kind of get, we do have iridescent head which is stupidly strong with infantry belt. But there's just been this trend of ultra-rare add-ons making the killer worse, or not being very strong. Just look at Oni with Renjiro's bloody glove. Or Deathslinger with Iridescent coin. If an add-on is ultra rare, it needs to make the killer stronger, and this is not the case with Hillbilly's add-ons.
First iridescent: Lopro chains; allows you to continue sprinting after breaking a pallet. On paper, this sounds good and somewhat scary to go against. But when you think about how pallets are used and placed in maps, you realize that this add-on isn't actually very helpful. When you do break a pallet, the survivor that threw it down has already turned out of the way of your chainsaw sprint, stopping you from hitting them, so it's better to just break the pallet and stop using your power, since now it can overheat. And then it's also got a speed limiter on it, which makes no sense. The ability it gives you is not strong enough to justify taking away his insta down. The add-on would be okay if it didn't have such a huge downside.
Change: remove the speed limiter. There's no reason for this add-on to have a downside.
Second iridescent: Iridescent Brick; you gain the undetectable status effect after chainsawing for 5 seconds. Chainsawing moves you across the map, very fast. And 5 seconds is a long time to be chainsawing. There are very few maps where you could actually chainsaw for that long, without running into something or running out of room and having to stop. In fact, several maps wererecently made smaller. And, the survivors can still hear the chainsaw while you're sprinting, unless you happen to be running the add-on that makes his chainsaw silent to survivors outside his terror radius. Any survivor who's at least slightly attentive, will not be fooled by this add-on.
Change: decrease the required sprint time from 5 seconds to 2.5 or 3 seconds. 5 seconds is just too long.
I don't know what was going through the minds of the developers when they decided that these were good changes to make. My best guess is that since giving the doctor's ability a cooldown worked, it would work with Hillbilly. (seriously it seems like someone at behavior is obsessed with cooldowns) But it really doesn't work very well, just like with the Nurse. That's kind of what this is, the nurse nerf all over again. A basekit change that makes playing them even harder, and iridescent add-ons that don't deserve to be iridescent.
I know that the ptb just came out. And it could be too early to say that the Hillbilly change shouldn't be implemented. Before the ptb came out I tried to be optimistic about it, thinking it wouldn't be too big of a deal. But that's exactly what happened withthe Nurse nerf, and look what happened. She's even harder to play and is (probably) one of the least played killers.
Flashlight blinding and Pallet stunning to get the save at any stage during the pick animation would like a word with you.

When something works on percentage even if it says 20% it's still chance as it doesn't say 1 in 5 it says 20% so technically it might not activate in 10 chances.
Same concept as rolling a six sided die, it's 1 in 6 chance ( 17% roughly ) to land each number but you might not hit a six after 30 rolls. No matter how you look at percentages it's still down to chance which can really get peoples backs up if their luck isn't in.
Yeah but that's running statistics through probability.
There's a difference between measuring probability and saying it reduces the charge time by 20% that is a static number that won't change.
If the base time is 20 and it reduces it by 20% that takes it down to 16 that is a concrete value
-
Personally Franklin's Demise still technically does what it used to do.
It's just now more balanced towards the item change before the item change when you had no charges left Franklin's Demise would permanently destroy the item but due to the change it can't do that anymore this is just a new compensation.
It's fair enough that it doesn't matter when it's knocked out of your hand you still have a chance to get it back but now Franklin's isn't completely useless
-
Honestly I like the idea it would definitely make haunted grounds frightening if you encounter it once that means you know there's definitely another totem around that you should be very cautious of breaking.
The problem with haunted grounds by itself is usually you have next to no control over when it gets broken. This could mean it gets broken whilst you're currently chasing someone who's already injured make it pretty pointless or it gets broken whilst you're nowhere near anybody and the survivors basically just go immersed until time runs out.
As deadnaught stated above hex retribution can fix the situation above as you could at least see another survivor so you could break chase from the injured person and go after a healthy one or you can find people however I do think two potential chances of getting haunted grounds wouldn't be broken

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1429940#Comment_1429940
The point is if the killer notices you've been Injured for the rest of the game, you'll think he just doesn't want to be healed in the long run, Plus this would reduce slugging by a Hellova amount if they don't see your broken status icon,
That's not the point every perk is supposed to at least have some bit of tell that they have it.
When it comes to the perk no mither it completely challenges The Killers attempts to slug they evil leave you on the ground and you get up for free or they pick you up and lose a lot of slug pressure.
I'll see this again staying insured all match is not a comparable trade off to all the benefits that were in you post. When you have people who are not used to healing on a regular basis that is not a decent trade off.
When a killer downs a person with no mither they have to make a decision either leave that person down on the ground to mildly waste their time as they have to recover or pick them up because they're going to get up anyway and no one's going to waste a time picking them up.
Especially if you're going to say the survivor initially starts of healthy either you have your healthy bonus with no symbol but aside from that the perk basically stays the same or you have the extra benefits that you listed but you still retain the broken symbol
-

You Start the Trial Healthy, However whenever you take a hit. You are affected by the Broken
Status Effect for the duration of the Trial. The survivors will see the Broken Status Effect, However the killer will not, Your thick blood coagulates practically instantly.
- You do not leave Pools of Blood
- .Grunts of Pain caused by injuries are reduced by 50/75/100 % at any time.
- Grants the ability to fully recover from the Dying State
- Bonus Points in boldness increased by 25/50/50 %
This is what i'd like to see No Mither changed to..
You can't have your recovery hidden at the same time as still getting the benefits of being healthy initially.
The point of no mother is that just somebody that the killer can't risk slugging because you can get up infinitely this limits to kill his choices when downing you.
Sorry to say this but being permanently injured is not worth all the positives you listed especially considering we live in a meta where people don't heal anyway.
Especially if you're planning on takeaway all tracking capabilities beside scratch marks you're going to need a bigger down side then injured for broken symbol is that downside
-
Survive with friends will be completely destroyed most people just ask their friends if they're on a generator with them or by them and they simply just won't work with randoms.
In fact all it would take is a system of butt dances or gestures to completely screw over this killer. For example if you're a real person crouch and point at the same time

Not to mention overpriced, the "legendary" skins are literally just there to make more people spend more money on an overpriced under decorated skin. I LIKE mix and matching my skins, that's why I liked DBD's cosmetic system so much. Also, I do it because it's cheaper and I can make better-looking custom skins with it. But there was literally no point in adding legendary skins other than to make BHVR more money.
"Oh, but legendary skins change who the person is"
How about legion then? You can mix and match their cosmetics and still change who they are. Why can't we just keep doing this? And why is it more expensive than a normal outfit? That makes no sense. I'm not going to pay extra money just so I can have a "different" survivor because that is stupid. Please change this, it makes no sense.
Your kind of comparing apples and oranges when you talk about Legion.
The only piece of legion that actually changes who they are is the body that's why you can mix and match with Legion.
The mask and the weapon have no impact. You don't get Susie's head on Joey's body it's Joe is body just wearing Susie's mask
This doesn't work with Cheryl and Lisa because you're actually changing the body pieces it wouldn't make sense to have Cheryl's head on Lisa's body.
Say it would go for a killer like spirit you would be actually changing their head so you can't have a mixed and match set while I get when you're trying to go for Legion is not the right example

Doesn't fit her character the only thing we know about her character is that she's an introvert that doesn't mean she can't wear are certain clothes that she likes or do you just think every single introverted person where's the exact same clothing
It's like the majority of you have never encountered another person in your life. It's an urban outfit something that's surprisingly common among people. She doesn't even have to go to a club to wear it it could simply be something she likes wearing at home or if she's going to see her parents.

You see that Claudette outfit that won the contest. Fitting outfits are out the window....
I love how everybody is seems that a character must dress like they're a massive stereotype.
You know it's possible that the shy bookish girl can actually wear something that's fun for her.
Honestly some of the things people are saying is about a stupid saying that all female characters must wear skirts and dresses because women don't wear trousers and it doesn't fit them.

Yes, this collection Greek Legends should be amazing. Especially the legendary skin Minotaur on Oni.
Just saying the Min Athena skin needs to be on point.
I would really like to see some great new cosmetic combo potential especially considering this isn't a link set

Honestly I think the buff what kind of pointless.
Knockout- This is just a straight up nerf- devs for the love of god please stop making things basic attack based. No slow crawling speed is not worth the nerf. If the bonus effect when basic attacking was just in addition the perks original effect and not the core theme it would be at least decent. Overall verdict nerfed
Franklin's demise- Let's be honest this just seems like a very late rebalancing after the item change. You don't lose items when they lose charges so this just kind of brings back Franklin's. Overall verdict technically buffed but it just seems more like a rebalance
Lightborn- The Aura reading is nice but let's be honest it didn't really change anything. Current lightborn already basically prevents you from being blinded unless you actively want to be. In fact the only way to efficiently blind a lightborn killer is with a firecracker and those really aren't common enough for it to be a concern even during the events were they released. Honestly this just seems like a quality of life instead of being 99% resistant to flashlights you now 100% the Aura reading is ok I guess.
Tinkerer: Honestly the closest thing I would call to an actual honest to goodness buff. It didn't feel like it was just rebalancing for new features or a quality-of-life of extra bells attached. It doesn't really move tinkerer up the tier list dramatically but it's nice.

Possibly, and yes, it really sucks not being able to see any of the upcoming cosmetics anymore. OTOH, I'm not ruling out the possibility that they actually don't have everything finished or assembled like they did in the past because of COVID. Who knows...
I mean the leakers are still able to data mine stuff it's just that they don't seem to put the actual skin files in ptb anymore.
The names and descriptions of some of the Skins have already been datamined

Well in the current game trying to blind someone with lightborn is near impossible unless you start before they any animation.
You literally have to start blinding them before they even bend down to pick up survivors or break pallets and most Killers with just two working brain cells will just not do the animation.
However it hasn't even been on the ptb yet give it sometime test to see if it's as bad as you think it is.

@Volfawott to your fourth point, I've done the math a while back and Legion's Frenzy moves the same speed as it was before. The entirety of the movement speed was a buff. Faster base speed which in turn translates to "lower" frenzy speed to even it out. However, the duration was increased.
Tha maffs:
Old speed: 30 meters traveled / 6 second duration
New speed: 50 meters traveled / 10 second duration
30/6 = 50/10
30/6 = 5/1
50/10 = 5/1
5/1 = 5/1
Interesting well you learn a little bit every day thank you

We know the next chapter is licensed because leaksbydaylight said they looked in the games coding and found the next killer and survivor can only be purchased with auric cells. The next chapter also releases around the same time as the new Candyman movie. Also on twitter the actor who plays Candyman has been acting suspiciously the past few months liking dbd tweets and even following dead by daylight.. someone even asked him are you coming to dbd or can’t you talk about it and he replied saying I’m under a NDA.
That sounds like a whole lot of speculation linked together none of the things you've stated so far have been concrete proof.
I remember when everyone said it was going to be pennywise for similar reasons

To answer each outfit you have a problem with.
1) Legion: honestly the entire Legion archives is a massive retcon. The cutscene retcons the the initial killing of the cleaner as Joey and Susie don't take part and Julie doesn't hesitate like she did in the original
Also also a lot of the text changes previously established elements Julie coming up with the name and the idea of the legion, vandalizing Joey's old place of work before they have their name or their staple mask setup makes even less sense considering Jeff is meant to paint the mural.
2,) This does indeed happen before Dwight initial backstory so there's no real problems here
3) it's likely that the huntress just used that outfit as a fear tactic against the soldiers rather than on it being something she regularly wears

Lol i Just think this theory it's kinda far fetched, Just because because they are similar it doesn't mean they are related.
You're wasting time try to explain holes in the theory.
They don't want to budge from it.

Break the chase instead of unnecessary extending it.
If you want your item back then try to lose the killer so you can get it instead running them around forever.

Legion's rework or should I say nerf was done to handle a lot of the problems that initial release Legion had. However due to the massive backlash and uprise in the community due to initial Legion the Devs through almost every nerf at the wall they could without really thinking of how they correlate with each other.
1) due to the removal of the moonwalk exploit taking away the ability to see blood stains was pretty pointless.
2) The requirement for a full charge power bar stop the frenzy from being super spammable and allowed it to be punishable however removing the multiple swings was unnecessary or at least to the extent that they did.
4) they reduced the speed and took away all the speed bonus add-ons for extra range on killer instinct which is trash
5) they removed lethality from feral frenzy yet still kept Franks mixtape and stab wounds study in its current state
6) Despite having no lethality the four second stun, missed penalty and and full charge requirement make it a lot more punishing than lethal attacks that includes ones that proc instadown like the chainsaw.
Honestly the fact that they had to go through and amend a lot of the initial nerf sledgehammering proves vastly unnecessary a lot of it was.
1) Increasing the speed of feral frenzy. Yeah the extra duration was pointless when you pretty much handicapped the speed and we had no way to get it back. Even now depending on your distance you could still pretty much out run the legion.
2) increase vault speeds for pallets and windows. I have no idea why this was changed in the first place people brought it up in the Legion rework ptb and they kind of ignored it for months
Honestly Legion was never overpowered they would just incredibly broken due to no counterplay and the exploit.
Very work fixed the exploit and the lack of counter play but it's still left them in an incredibly weak state well the Legion was already weak to begin with but now they were just a weak m1 killer
All their collective recent fixes have brought down into a better position personally I still think they need another add-on pass and so tweaks. Add-on pass to change Franks mixtape and and stab wounds study especially as well as the extra killer instinct range which is pretty pointless. Tweaks to fix the problems and overcompensation left behind by rushed rework
