You’re right but I guess he doesn’t get mentioned as much because like every other survivor he’s just a skin.
And no one uses him because they don't want to have that huge yellow kill me now target on their backs

Ah. Thank you! At least I know I'm not insane.
It's only when they fast vault pallets that they drop more than normal. But it's not game breaking so they won't do anything about it until a patch comes out

As much as like cosmetics, I'd rather the reward not be one because it usually means the licenced characters don't get anything, and I'm sure many people such as myself prestige licenced characters in priority bc they don't have many cosmetics (if any) and they can't be bought with iri shards. For eg if the reward was legacy it'd mean I would get a reward only for a third of the characters I've prestiged, so I'm not mad at all about the reward being portraits tbh.
Yea I agree with you but once I found out that the "REWARD" for trying to grind to get to p3 before the patch was sparkles that only we can see I gave up giving any care about grinding to p3 on any other character.
I understand why Legacy wasn't a option because of License Characters but they could of done more like tendrils that encircle our prestige badge to show it off....blood drips that make more sense and is a nod to the bloody cosmetics.....but sparkles...that seems like a very low hanging fruit...and a rotten one at that.

It takes multiple hits to get someone off since there are so many hooks near each other. If you think that's just bm, you probably should play survivor and let 1 person take a hit and see if you wiggle off. It's never gonna happen.
Hooks are not as close as you think on alot of maps especially if someone brings in the branch to spread out the hooks further. Me and my friends tested out bringing in multiple branches and the poor killer only had one maybe two hooks to work with that's close by to the down.
Besides that if the Killer has committed to a hook they are usually too far to make it to another hook unless they are using IG Agitation combo even then if they are already at the hook body blockers can still keep the from hooking. Septic Agent comes to mind.

Not Sure
Most Killers has at least 1 good perk if not more.
And no I don't think it has support yet but not too sure.....mouse keyboard is alot easier than controller

never understood why people think flicking to do a curve with billy chainsaw is difficult. if you can't play billy very well, than your probably not going to be doing well with like 90% of the killers in this game. Billy just can't curve good survivors effectively anymore. he lost his chainsaw feathering and his tile-set play with add-on changes. I think I completely agree with your post.
Nurse definitely has highest skill-floor and highest skill-ceiling without question. I think people like @Phasmamain confuse a killer being under powered with difficult to play.
part of the reason why hillibilly had high skill-cieling in the past was because he could control the outcome of the chases with his chainsaw skills. He lost that control and with it, his skill-ceiling. Nurse retains complete control over outcome of the chase, so her skill-ceiling is untouched, for now.
Well I play Oni very well and I learned how to "flick" with him so maybe that's why

Muscle memory is like 30 games, then you will get better, learning every loop curve as billy requiers way more games, anyway, as I mentioned before, difficulity of killer should not defy his strenght
Then you must be a god player to get muscle memory in 30 games because I can't. I boe to your greatness of they Nurse skill

I am not talking about amount of god nurses and billies, only percentage, but yeah this still applieable since billy is bad so a lot of good players left him and new players don't want to waste time for no reward
Where in my comment did I talk about God Tier nurse. I was pointing out that Billy isnt as hard to master than Nurse.

Well, you are the 10% of nurse players and 85% statistics on the internet are made up, my point is I havent seen basekit nurse like for a year?
And yes, hillbilly is harder to master than nurse, you know how much good nurses you've seen? And how much good hillbillys?
That's because they butchered Billy and he's is not hard to master he is easy just map dependent. Nurse is hard to learn and master because some can't get that muscle memory and have to use the plad cloth to get a simple target to where the blink is going to go.

Sigh...longer gen times, decisive strike destroyed - might as well not even use it against Nurse now, less distance gained by a survivor after a hit which is a HUGE, HUGE nurse buff, more so than any other killer. This one change is in my opinion better than all the other changes for other killers.
Yea but that 5 sec stun destroys non mobile killers I think making the base after animation should be 3 secs but not a base 3

Like you already said, that's really all up to the license holders. BHVR have shown they're very willing to make licensed cosmetics.
Personally, I wouldn't mind some more Silent Hill love. The two skins Pyramid Head has are pretty dope. Cheryl doesn't have as many skins because it seems like Konami were more interested in legendary skins to make her into other characters (or whatever the hell they're called now.)
My mains Steve and Demo are left in the dark unfortunately, but in a perfect world, I would love some more skins for them.
2018 Michael and Laurie would be badass.
I like the chain and ripped skin one over the Forge Master skin. They need the Butcher skin and a few different ones that fit the universe like one where he is wrapped in barbed wire.

Flashlights are meant for this and body blocking is not toxic if you're trying to save your teammate.
No when all three bodyblock the hook that's going beyond saving a teammate and to agrivate and troll the killer. 1 person body blocking is fine.

I mean, just by looking at Garden of Joy and Eyrie it is pretty clear that they do not have enough (if any) competent people on that department anymore and that their current mindset is to have maps being as survivor-favored as possible.
Eyrie is way more balanced than Garden...
Garden has House of Pain 2.0, has a ton of LoS blockers in close proximity, and small areas that Survivors can easily move through but Killers get caught or hung up on.

At this point, I would happily forego the cosmetic effect, that only I can see (and deactivate) and also forego the catch-up mechanic in exchange for 1,5M BPs per Prestige per Char. This would at least give players the freedom to level and/or prestige as they see fit (heck even switch roles and level the "other side" with the gained BPs).
And why is there a 50k fee to prestige, when it's no longer optional?
This whole thing feels lacklustre and strange. Not just the cosmetic effect that isn't a "cosmetic", but everything.
Yea the 50k is what is so strange.....Hey we reduced the grind but you'll have to grind to pay for the prestige.....

Yea, reminds me of me playing bubba and camping anyone I cought in the end game because there was no good reason to chase someone into opened exit gate. And then they trash talk you into "toxic XXXXXXXX camper" lol.
I get called that when I DONT camp....I was accused of camping when I hooked the Survivor and as I turned around and there was a survivor coming for the rescue. I chase them and ended up running around the hooked survivor until they died.
At EGC I was called a dirty camper, when I confronted them about I wasn't camping and why they kept the chase around hook they said and I quote "You should of left and let me rescue them so you were camping @#$&"+? Camper loser".
I was actually speechless....

If an Executioner is within 5 meters for 3.5 seconds, then it'll relocate. So yeah you can literally be facecamped by a Pyramid head without being teleported because the range is insanely close. That is so stupid.
I mean yea thats crazy close but I think that was to stop survivors from forcing a cage teleport by making the chase go near the cage. Sadly it's one of those times where either way it's a bad deal.....

But it's NOT a free win. That's what you're failing to realize. YOU and your team messed up to all be in a close proximity at the same time. You messed up. The killer earned that by downing 4 people entirely...Nothing about it is free. Other then you thinking it should be free to get back up.
Yea I got a 3 man slug and 1 hooked because they got greedy trying to rush a rescue...they tried to unhook the survivor I pulled them off and dropped them the second came in and I did the same and the final one was injured and I slugged her. I didn't even get a chance to leave the hook when they rushed it, so if they want to be that cocky I'll be sure to punish them when they make a mistake.
And if anyone was wondering I was Oni on old Haddonfeild map.
-
Yes survivors said Spirit was OP because of the standing still mind games. That's why we have a Spirit now where you not only know when she's using her powers but from what direction and how close she is to you. They made her chase music so loud that it drowns out footsteps so you have to lose chose just to find out which way went if they stopped running or went into Shadow Step zone.
People calling for nurse nerfs are the same way as people who called for the spirit Nerf...they failed to learn the counter play or change up their normal tactics to adapt to how Spirit and Nurse are.
As I said in my post I learned the nurse counter plays and how to deal with her by playing her.
Now Nurse's addons need a major look because she's dosnt need both a recharge and distance without some kind of a negative effect

Yeap. Playing as her gives a lot on insight on how to play against her. I had a hilarious game last night against a nurse. I was playing with friends who arnt the best. The nurse certainly was not the best
The point of this post is. She kept downing my friends and even killed one with 3 gens up. She decided it was time to commit to me. My other 2 friends finished 3 gens while she didn't touch me once. The point is. She wasn't good, but niether were my friends.
I think people think they're better then they actually are. So they get dunked on by a semi competent nurse. Then think she's OP. Instead of considering for even a second THEY'RE the issue
Exactly. When a Killer or survivor bests me I admit they were better than me and that's it.
Nurse isn't all powerful and neither was mind game old spirit...yea she was annoying but not op like everyone said....

Nurse is fine. Just gotta learn how to read her. Its not that bad.
Also her power is not absolute....I learned that because I have tried to learn her by playing her. As I played I learned a few interesting things.....
1. Multi-floor maps are actually the biggest hindrance to a Nurses Blinks.
2. There are certain objects a nurse CAN'T blink through.
3. Acting randomly during a chase lowers the chances of a good blink hit.
Just those three details has allowed me to escape and even loop good nurses quite easily.

That's exactly what I am saying dude. You are not understanding. What if you are doing a bad job as a survivor? THEN IT TAKES FOREVER. it is a team game not solo so, there is no way for you to make game take less time or make it win by yourself
Then that's not Legion's fault but your teammates as a whole. I have had game against Legion that took forever not because of him because survivors were hiding most of the match and not doing gens. Even when I would loop a Legion for what should be 3 gens but only 1 gets done because my team are chickens.
-
@Kaitsja said:
You do understand that proxying is only a smart move when you have a survivor hooked between a cluster of gens, allowing you to patrol that area and essentially lock it down.
Hanging back and waiting to spot someone going for the unhook isn't exactly a wise choice. Proxy camping is a valid tactic, but used incorrectly it will cost you the game.
You have one person on hook, and three healthy survivors who haven't been hooked yet. You're not pressuring them; the timer is. Pressure does not passively apply to the survivors if you're not doing anything.
That's why I only proxy camp with Hag or Demo because I can get back to the hooks quicker if I notice a unhook rescue going in

Playing some games with friends and 3 killers in a row complained to us in the end game chat about how we're ruining the game because we did gens too fast and they didn't have a chance, and understanding that maybe they felt frustrated about that, we switched up the build.
We bring Boon: Exponential, Soul Guard, and Power Struggle/Flip Flop and we have a huge amount of fun goofing around and we all die with 3 gens up and everyone has over 25K points and they complain about us being bullies even though we all died?
Do gens while someone gets chased and you're genrushing, interact with the killer and goof around not doing gens, you're bullying. 😩
Can anyone clarify what exactly they want from me, should I simply go stand under the hook and AFK?
From what I read you went from a Gen Speed team build to a build that's designed to mess with the Killer as they hook. Even though you all died and goofed around maybe in the Killers eyes or on his side of the screen he didn't see it like that.
When I play Killer I tend to play semi serious but mostly silly. But they know I'm being silly even though I might have a few Metas or bring really good addons by how I am acting....there was one time and I wish I recorded it but I didn't sadly, but anyway I hooked everyone and downed the last person. When I picked them up I attacked a wall to signal don't struggle I'm carrying you to the hatch. When I got there however I found the hatch spawned right Infront of a hook lol. So I looked at the hatch then the hook and then back a few times and the Survivor must of been worried when I slow turned to the hook.....she struggled and broke free and grabbed the hatch lol.

Its a reshader. Since the game has very few accessibility options by default, they use third party mods, reshaders, filters and what have u to do that.
some people with sensory sensibilities use an effect to mute dredge whenever he activates nightfall. Because of the voices in the background. Its nothing really impactful in the gameplay, so idk why the streamer was touchy about it.
People use reshaders also to gain a advantage over the killer. The brighter shader like ops post would allow them to see things that are ment to be harder to spot ie Hag Traps or Trappers darkened traps
With how the streamer reacted I say cheating was the issue
-
Was the face cam brighter or you mean the game itself

Tbh as Killer I stopped bringing in Flans. There was no point to bring it in because gens just flew quickly. I played normally but this event seemed like survivors just wanted to escape so my points were always low.

If you are against competent survivor it should be fine, but the real problem will be in a 3-gen scenario or once a survivor died since it will become harder to keep constant pressure on generator.
That's the time it would shine because if it's a good 3 Gen then they might as well give up because they won't be able to get anything done
-
A hatch escape is not a win or lose and if you got to that point you already won the match by killing 3 survivors. Just let the silly survivor escape thinking they out played you for it.

The issue wasn't matchmaking that ruined this event...what ruined it was....
1. Both Survivors and Killers didn't care about the other side and either Rushed Gens to leave asap or tunneled and camped people out.
2. How to find the Invites was not thought out fully and was horrible in itself as well. No audio que when you were close and a 4m aura is not easy to find especially on Killers with their limited vision.

That's the alternative is it?
How did I get all 12 masks on the second day by playing killer, while letting all survivors escape with 30k BP all round, myself included?
You just have to play killer well, I would 2-hook all survivors, and control the pace of the game to the point where everyone was on death hook, I could walk away while they finished the rest of the gens (usually multiples remaining) and have plenty of time to find the pedestal.
I'm still finding pedestals now? I completed all the invitation related challenges AFTER I already had all the masks, and still pick one up nearly every game for the extra 750 BP. I've probably picked up around 30 invitations by this point, and I only play for a couple hours in the evenings.
Good for you but we are not with your amazing skill level and some of us didn't find them so easily.
