My load outs consist of:
• Self Care, Desperate Measures, Botany, and Distortion
• Deja Vu, We'll Make It, Resilience, and Windows
• My third load out is usually full of meme perks. Currently equipped with Blast Mine, Mirrored Illusion (I keep calling it Major Image), Red Herring, and Pebble
I swap out every few matches because I really miss Chaos Shuffle
-
Currently doing Plaything, Third Seal, Insidious, and Unforeseen on Unknown. I just want spoopy moments when I'm on indoor maps
-
I love the event, but I'll never understand players who take it so seriously. Had three matches where all four survivors were slugged and bled out. Aside from those matches it's been fantastic watching my BP skyrocket
-
I'm not sure. I haven't seen any announcements about it
-
Playing with bots, because matches are super chill, I can do whatever I want, and don't need to endure sweatfeasts or bming from players with power trips. Please implement killer bots.
-
As a Wraith player, one add on I've really come to appreciate is his Iri All Seeing. It's all the info I need on where I should be pressuring gens, and pair it with his purple Shadow Dance addon.
For perks I run Brutal, Pop, Bam, and then swap between Sloppy, Jolt, or Pain Res. As long as you can get downs quickly you can usually keep gens speeds at bay.
-
I love this concept and challenge! The build I got was Devour, Eruption, Dragon's Grip, and Mad Grit with Dredge
-
I've learned from past events to never play survivor during this time period. I'm playing chill Dredge and farming for those sweet, sweet BP and invites. I hope you encounter more fun gamers
-
Disappeared as in you were in mid chase and then you were suddenly alone? I think that's lag switching, which used to be a massive problem
-
I had a match earlier like thos today. It was a Bubba on Mother's Dwelling that camped two survivors first hook till they died. Me and the last survivor popped the remaining gens, and right as the exit gates opened, he popped up to hit us with NOED. Like, he didn't even do anything that match and was rewarded for it.

Same here. I'm not swapping because of the pure amount spent. I could swap over to either my PC, or Xbox Series S, but would have to re-buy and re-earn everything, which I do not want to do
That was a painful decision I had to make, and honestly am glad I made it when I did, because all of the major overhauls started not too long after (map changes, locomotion changes, etc). At this point I wouldn't bother swapping if you have everything on it unless your Switch explodes.
-
I swapped to PC at the end of the 4th year after playing on Switch. Haven't looked back, but I miss all of my stuff on there. Still holding out for cross progression
-
He feels really awesome to play as now. I still have survivors attempting to burn him out of his cloak, and it's pretty funny to just stand there and waste their batteries.
-
I actually jist had this against a Leon as Wraith on Midwich. Even when cloaked he was always ahead of me without windows, pallets, or backtracking, when he fell from the second story he never had impact lag, and every window gave him Lithe. He tried being subtle about it in the beginning but by endgame he was just running around at the speed of sound teabagging

It goes red when survivors disable the biopod with an EMP, when this happens you cannot attach to survivors so it's just a camera at that point
Thank you for the response! That really helps a lot in learning it

Honestly if they added herbs into the match I think that would be neat. Grabbing 3 would create the poultice seen in game and would serve as a nice side option, otherwise I would be so down for then to Regenerate.
-
I've been too busy with work and haven't seen the stream yet. How does it work through floors on maps like Midwich?

Any aura perk is very strong on huntress, but Gearhead has also been a pretty decent perk on every killer I've tried it on.
Its actually really good on hit and run killers, and I wonder if it would work with plauge and infection injury...
That's actually a really good idea. I'm going to need to test that out with bots to see if I can see them when they become infected
-
I actually went against this perk combo on a SM. It was on the game, and I did notice that Obsessions were changing frequently, but thought nothing of it. She did really well, and we made it to end game where it really popped off. Got a 3k, and I wasn't mad about because I thought it was neat

When the game is balanced around hooks...
SKDKSKK PLEASE
I count doing challenges as a win (as much as some of them irk me with their conditions), otherwise I try to set a win condition based off of getting wonky builds to work at least once in a match.
-
CoH will only grant the bonus to altruistic healing
-
I'd like it if Hoarder was spiced up some. Say it gives you an Aura reading gof how many charges are left on am item (white if full, red if empty) and had a 15% chance that whenever an item is found in a chest, it has reduced charges.
-
I use these perks frequently in conjunction with Enduring and Brutal to keep up in chase. It's usually my go to build when I just wanna play and not worry about gen defense.
-
I very much enjoy playing her. While difficult, using birds to get downs is quite an endorphin rush for me, much like getting back to back hatchets with Huntress. She may not be the best in chase when holding W, but the mapwide pressure can be pretty strong when running Aura builds.
-
I very much will be starting a collection omg
-
I've had several games in a row of killers using MS, and it's very disappointing to see that it's become a known issue but hasn't been killswitched yet. This is an actual exploit that players are using with no consequence and the silence is defeaning.
-
Ooh I love build topics! My go to has always been SB, Resilience, Vigil, and Self Aware, but with the meta shakeup up and the possibility of staying injured for the entire match due to the Healing nerf I might try to reincorporate Iron Will back into it

Did this get fixed in the new patvch?
Just started this challenge. I'll get back to you when I find one
Update: Just had a match where I encountered three of them, each failed immediately on the first skill check despite me hitting them, so sadly yes, they are still bugged.
-
As both roles, RPD and Midwich, mostly because I'm a fan of both series and enjoy the chases on them.
-
• No Concede button
• Sadako's teleport cool down when Dredge is right there
• Twins
• DDoSing (Can't remember if this was addressed or not, but I feel like it's a constant uphill battle)
• Why the camera insists on focusing on Spirit's behind when the match starts up

So are you suggesting we fix the slug for the 4k by removing hatch?
If it means no more future hatch challenges, absolutely.
Also off topic, and I'm absolutely sure this was discussed in the past, but why isn't it that after each survivor death, the required number of gens to complete isn't equivalent to the number of survivors still alive -1? Would that be something too easily abusable, or would it help incentivize those still in the trial to keep working towards their goal in the event of early death or DCing?
-
From what I've gathered it's a live secret event to help promote BHVR's new game, Meet You Maker. You can get charms for the time being related to the game, and free shirt cosmetics in the near future.
-
I would love it if it were unrestricted. It encourages chase and synergies well with existing chase builds.
-
I finally got it after many too many close and stressful matches (had to take a break for my own sanity). Still had the same problem of team mates just chilling in the exit gates or killer finding it first, but as some pointed out Clairvoyance really helped, along with Open Handed. I really do hope that this is the last Hatch challenge they make, because it really isn't worth the frustration of trying to achieve it when so much is left up to what could amount to extreme chance. I remember one match where I even told my mates prelobby that I wanted hatch and they purposefully waited till the last second.
Edit: Typo
-
Can also confirm, just had a match on Gas Heaven where he became invisible after Nightfall. At times he returned to his normal state, so I'm unsure as to what makes him visible again
-
The DC penalty racks up pretty quickly, and even then it's much better than what the game used to be like before DC penalties were enabled.

AFAIK bots are always perkless and I don't think they're programmed to take hits either, at least I haven't seen that yet. Are you sure it was ds and not a pallet save?
Because if it was DS then maybe you somehow queued into a normal match?
There were no pallets around, it was a hook against a wall, and they were all very much still bots. Not perks or anything to be found on the end screen

That's why they should add bots if anyone disconnects early. Even killers too if needed.
I've been testing with the bots in PTB and it's looking promising. Def not perfect, but they know how to do gens, they can loop decently well at times, and they don't give up.
-
I'd love a charm shop. I'd love to add the ones that I missed to my collection
-
It was very rough for me at the beginning of the event, but since I've completed the Halloween Tome I've just been playing as chill as I can. I really hope we see more classic monsters and vintage costumes as cosmetic items next year!
-
Idk I kind of really enjoy watching that mean power walk he has when he frenzies
-
Aside from bonus BP, I'd want confetti to spray every time you injure a survivor like Clown's bottles. It would just make me happy.

I play on Console and I did the missions but never gave me a redeem code nor did the website bring up any claim rewards either.
I did mine on PS4. I found you need to use the in game banner when it cycles up on the main menu in order to accept the mission, then do the mission. It didn't give it to me after doing it twice, but restarting it corrected it.

Well, they turned off the DC penalties for awhile, but as players will do, they started abusing that, so it had to be turned back on. Now, it's possible of course to tell the difference between me doing "Leave Match" and your internet from going out. So one could say that they just need to only have a penalty when you "leave match" and that sounds great on paper. However, what's to stop me then from unplugging the cord from the back of the computer? Just a few seconds, I get a disconnection that's exactly the same as if the server booted me, then I am back for another round. So people would just start doing that. So as much as the DC penalty needs to be turned off, it can't because it gets abused when it is.
You can even tell in game which one a person did. The top DC icon is someone who used "Leave Match" and the bottom is someone whose connection was severed (however it happened.)

It's def been a forced DC, as the killer, myself, and usually one or two others will be disconnected all at once, although that last tid bit is really nifty to know, thank you! And I've seen the abuse in action, made the game legit unplayable for both sides. I may just take a break for a few days to let it reset. Do you happen to know how long exactly that is?
-
The biggest challenge for me was attempting to navigate the menus and locate the Start Mission button, which took way longer than it should have. The controls for the game also felt incredibly clunky combined with the event mechanics. Got the skin first game because thankfully you just have to have been in a match (or observe one after death) for at least five minutes. Immediately deleted PUBG afterwards
-
As stated by others, make sure to deposit any energy you have before attempting to stun the killer. Unfortunately the way it works is that if you don't have the room for the energy gained, it doesn't count towards the challenge

If we even get a map
I know it's a lot to hope for, but a guy can dream 😭
-
This is why I play on Anon mode and keep end chat closed. I'm so much happier not dealing with these sorts of arguments
-
I sincerely hope we get a castle map with this. It'd be too big of an opportunity to miss out on
-
An Energy drink that has three uses and gives a survivor a Sprint Burst effect for three seconds.
Edit: also a cell phone that pings your teammates locations for you at the cost of a small ring tone playing within 8 meters of them. Answering it will allow that survivor to see the aura of the one calling until you get a party line going, at the expense of static ringing out, and it would only last a certain number of minutes, like 5. The Entity doesn't want you racking up a big bill, after all
