I do pretty good with Deathslinger, Trickster, and Huntress on PS5 but I have to use very very low sensitivity and I typically just move my character with the center of the screen rather than trying to snap to the survivor. My aim is really good doing that way. The low sensitivity means I get spun a bit more and have some difficulties with loops, but my aim is really good with the low sens. I use a higher sens with other "aim" killers like Demo, Nemesis, Pyramid Head, Nurse, etc. It's just those 3 where I need the low sens

You can't troll the killer with a map

Honestly, it wasn't even that bad on console. I have no clue where that idea came from
It absolutely was. Carrying a Boil Over survivor was like trying to drag them through a hurricane it was so bad. Good luck getting them through a doorway in less than 3 - 4 seconds on a map like Lery's or Midwich

Im curious where survivors got their ego from. Like survivor is the easiest thing ever, theres nothing impressive about it.
This would be a good topic all on its own! I'm always incredibly baffled by the survivors that stack 4 meta perks, BNP and a Coldwind offering and then teabag you at the exit gate. Like seriously it would have been beyond embarrassing if you lost that
-
You guys remember before SBMM when everyone used to justify how strong SWF was by saying "you only face the death squads like 1% of the time, they're so infrequent it doesn't matter if they cause a balance issue" and then SBMM came along and... yeah

It was probably a good 6 months ago now, but I remember a streamer (played both killer and survivor) blaming the post-game 'Entity Displeased' thing as for why he gets anxiety over not getting more kills. He said he thinks if they removed that whole 'you sucked' implication at the end, then he'd feel better about getting outplayed or not getting many kills. I thought that was an interesting perspective, personally.
There's something to that, at least to me. It's really annoying when you get matched against a meta 4 stack that sends you to Fractured Cowshed and you get 3 - 4 hooks and 0 kills as Pig. It's bullshit that you can depip from that. The game should be designed to where it won't depip you when it was basically hopeless to safety
-
Killers should consider themselves the "funmaster" always going for 12 hooks, absolutely never camping and tunneling, even in endgame. Practice chase instead in the endgame! Everybody escapes, everybody gets lots of points and everybody wins!
-
If anything you're doing the survivor a favor by tunneling them. Chases are the most fun thing in the game so getting chased the entire time is the best kind of game you can have
-
I'm partial to the Minotaur one myself

I dunno, I mean here is what my typical matches look like:
https://youtu.be/G9rKFULNeRU?t=1331
Survivors slamming 5 gens in ~4 minutes, BNPs, camping god pallets, 4x dead hards, etc etc.
I gotta say I could not care less about survivors having fun when many, many of my matches are against SWFs like this.
If someone is gonna cry they get tunneled to death in 2 minutes, too bad. It's a 5-6 minute video game a lot of the time for me.
Yeah this is pretty much all I ever get matched up against. It's real fun. Your MMR doesn't even drop either. I get 1 kill a game typically and it's not like I get easier survivors lmao

A lot of people in this thread are making a classic mistake. Players often assume perfect survivor play at all times and average killer play. If you are finding that survivors are often playing perfectly in perfect coordination game after game, the common thread is you. SWF is not a huge factor against a highly skilled killer.
This is way underselling how comms help out even bad survivors. Here are some examples that all tilt the match way against the killer:
Knowing the guy on hook has Deliverance so no one goes to rescue him and sticks on gens. Solo queue sometimes has multiple people go for the save
Knowing when all major pallets are down. Solo has to run WoO for that info
Knowing killer has Spirit Fury/Enduring as soon as it procs the first time then predropping everything in the future. Solos don't know unless they witness it
One guy knows where the hex is, everyone does
All splitting up on gens at all times. I see solo queue gamers hop on gens with 2 other people all the time
Guy gets chased off a gen in the corner that's 80% done and Ruin chews all the way through it in solo queue. In SWF, his buddy runs from across the map to get on it so it doesn't lose as much progress negating a huge killer gain
Coordinating perks so that one person is a dedicated CoH while solo queue can have multiple self cares taking away spots for multiple 2nd chance perks
Etc Etc Etc. This is just stuff that causes the killer hardships on the macro, not even the annoying BS that SWFs can organize against killers like multiple Head On stuns, Boil Over/Sabo/Eyrie RPD offering abuse etc.
-
What?? Suffocation Pit is insanely survivor sided IMO. I hate that map more than any. The main building is really strong and the middle always has jungle gym into jungle gym or back to back to back gyms/t-walls. It's nutty.
-
I complain about Dead Hard all the time and I've never once complained about Sprint Burst. I can choose not to take the chase or if I do chase them, I don't have to worry about baiting out a Dead Hard at a loop

If those games ever become my normal I won't be playing killer. No one is going to have that be their queue. They might as well create bots for those groups. It's inevitable.
Hey, I've got news for you! They are working on killer bots! That's their answer to the queue time issue rather than trying to make the game more balanced and more fair towards the killer player

Yeah, its times like this I wish I could opt out of the PC platforms. It's kinda sad I even have to think that but sadly PC tends to just ruin the experience due to the mass amount of cheaters, this goes for any game even coop ones...
The worst part is how can people with game knowledge identify people cheating, even when they're subtle about it but a system cant?
I thought a system to track the obvious hackers would be simple, or even to track the players stacking the same perk or running more than 4.
Seems to me not enough time is spent on anti cheat, and it to the point you deal with it or stop playing or you'll wait ages with Crossplay off
Console crossplay walled off from PC would make me so happy. I hate playing against PC players but I have no choice because otherwise I have to wait 60 minutes for a match because I'm on PS5

I believe in an interview the devs said they tried that "get parts for the generators" thing and nobody liked it. Maybe they should've let the community be the judge.
I'm skeptical. That was in F13 and that game was very popular. It only died because of the lawsuits
-
Hahaha lol look at this survivor teabagging me saying f you cause the whole map is safe pallets. So funny yay this is a great experience! We're just having fun guys!!

Not really. It sounds like, if anything, you've probably gotten numb to it (which isn't uncommon, sadly). And that's not a good thing.
I'd probably respond by saying that if the only way you can get enjoyment is by trying to make sure others don't...you're the one at fault and probably need to do some introspection, as this behavior tends to grow out of a deep insecurity on your behalf.
Now, I'm not saying that this describes you, directly. But you are certainly being an apologist for this sort of behavior, which does get my noggin' joggin'.
'Caring what others say'...it's not that intellectualized. It's more just how human brains work (we can get into the actual psychobiological/neurochemical effects of bullying, if you'd like - and how depression works). It's not something people can really just turn off - and if you try to force it (as certain militaries do), you often end up with pretty serious mental health issues later on. Because all you're actually doing is repression.
This person gets it
-
If people need to just learn how to take it and shrug it off then give me back my Leatherface masks already
-
Yeah man just learn not to care about people intentionally trying to make you feel bad all the time. Let's all be stoic unemotional pin cushions. That certainly won't lead to any issues later on
-
I'm only teabagging and clicking my flashlight in the exit gates so I can give the killer a hit and some extra bloodpoints!!! ::dead hards out the gate::

As I and others have suggested...just do what basically every other game does.
When you queue up with friends, your MMR gets artificially inflated proportional to the size of the squad. This allows the advantages of information sharing and coordination to be offset by matching you against a stronger opponent.
They were already doing that before. SWFs were getting matched against killers with the highest ranking that matched the ranking of the highest SWF member. BHVR decided that they didn't want the 10k hour 4 man SWF to wait too long for a match, so they just match them with whatever killer is next in line, even if it's a baby Wraith running predator
-
Seriously. BHVR needs to make it so that the 4 stack sweats need to wait in a long ass queue to match up with the Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer AlcRing Blights and Floods of Rage/MYC/Resonance/DMS Nurses or just scrap the whole MMR system and go back to the old ranking system, tweak the emblems a bit to make it harder to rank up, and lower people's rank more on reset. People that just want to play spooky Myers or Clown or Trickster or Wraith for fun shouldn't be matched up against all these Team Oracle wannabes
-
I only played today and yesterday with a variety of killers spanning the roster and I'm getting matched with nothing but 3 and 4 stack TTV SWFs all running meta perks and being so aggressive on gens like it's major league gaming championship
-
Hahaha this game is so trash right now. BHVR building killer bots to solve the queue problem times instead of actually trying to balance the game
-
I'm a killer main on console but I play solo survivor roughly 20 - 30% of the time for tome challenges, dailies, and SWF. I'm devotion 20 and I've had 2 killers message me the entire time I've been playing this game. One guy asked to farm and another said gg. On the other hand, I have like 200 survivors blocked from sending me hate filled/salty messages on playstation network. That's without console having an endgame chat lol
-
The game seems to be in a really good spot for killers right now. I don't know why you're having trouble. My friend mains Trapper at high MMR and he 4ks all the time. You've probably seen him he goes by The_Trapper00. It's not that hard to win as killer, just git gud
-
I mean when I get sent to some farm map by a sweaty 4 stack, I can get 4 unique hooks + 1 more and depip when all survivors escape cause I dared to try to secure 1 kill in endgame. Quit crying
-

That's what bothers me. You play solo survivor, you get paired with complete noobs. You play killer, you face sweat squads. Like where were these people when I was playing survivor?
You're getting matched with 3 and 4 stacks constantly as killer
-
I hate this perk on console. It's like trying to carry a survivor through a hurricane
-
Yeah this is another nerf that does nothing to the perk. It's still busted. The speed at which teams can body block to disrupt your chases then group heal at a boon while someone slams gens is insane
-
She seems reasonably popular still. I definitely see her way more than Artist who is practically non-existent. I see Nemesis more than anyone, that boy is popular
-
Hey if you don't eat a DS earlier and tunnel out a survivor, you get rewarded by getting DSed in the exit gates
-
You got to respect the chili
-
Boil Over was not nerfed to uselessness. Play killer on console and go against it, it's like trying to carry a survivor through a hurricane
-
I've never had survivors care about how much fun I'm having as killer. It'd be nice one time to see a guy holding W directly to House of Pain and turn and go to a unsafe pallet because it's more fun and fair for the killer
-
I play on console and Nurse is way more difficult to play than Blight IMO. I think the biggest reason is Iron Will/Dead Hard. 4 DH + 2 - 3 IW lobbies are really common. When you're not good with Nurse, dealing with DH/IW is a complete nightmare whereas when playing Blight you can most of the time deal with DH like any other killer
-
The only one I have a big problem with is Plague's chanting/whispering. It's insanely loud and drowns out other sounds. I'm not a Pinhead main, but whenever I've played him for dailies, it doesn't seem like the lines are overused. They seem like a once in a while thing and not just every time you do an action. Didn't seem bothersome to me
-
I got matched against multiple survivors the other day running Windows of Opportunity that burned a Game offering. Chase one survivor, break 2 to 3 god pallets, chase another survivor, break 2 to 3 god pallets, rinse and repeat. It was very fun and engaging gameplay
-
I don't understand how you can complain about any killer in this game when the devs basically open the gates for survivors themselves
-
Just hit E bro
-
People have made good suggestions. My personal suggestion is that exhaustion perks should require a safe unhook before becoming available for the rest of the trial. This will stop them from being used in the first chases when the killer needs to start building pressure. It's also been suggested that you can't vault or throw pallets for 3 seconds after using it. You can still dodge projectiles and getting mindgamed, just can't dead hard for distance
-
No Dead Hard or CoH change so that sucks. Ghostface and Legion changes are some nice positives. The mixing up the music for Legion with the mixtape add-ons is really cool
-
I would remove both blinks, up her movement speed to 4.4 and keep the fatigue after she misses a swing to provide more counterplay and make her less boring and unfun to play against
-
My prediction is Haddonfield will be ready, Bubba gets hard nerfed, and absolutely nothing done to dead hard or CoH
-
Someone else brought it up in this thread, but her whispering/chanting when you have Corrupt Purge is so obnoxiously loud that you can't hear anything else going on basically. I wish they would address that, but that can go on the backburner until CoH and Dead Hard are nuked
-
It's annoying as hell hearing the survivor make a screaming sound only for your puke not to register. It's annoying getting stunned out of your power. It's annoying that whether you get to use your power or not is based entirely on the survivors
