I'm just putting down that the match was unfun and extremely frustrating if 4 or 5 gens are done but if I stomp with 3 or 4 gens left I'm saying it's extremely fun and fair

But would the survivors do the same to low skilled killers ease up and let them get a few hooks or a kill it's fine to ask one side to do it if the other side is willing to do the same thing, if i play a killer i haven't played or touched in ages i have yet to see survivors ease up and let me get some hooks or a kill but if im playing killer and i can tell they are new or having a hard time i'll get my bbq stacks then just have some fun after.
I'll still chase and down them but instead of hooking them i'll let the teammates pick them up, if they are having trouble because im putting to much pressure and ruin just keeps taking the gens back to 0 ill show one of them were ruin is so the game can move along and depending on the killer i play i might meme around a bit i.e the pig ill see how many people i can get to boop the snoot.
The answer to this is never lol. I recently had a Nurse daily that I tried to do. I'm on console and blow with Nurse. I got matched against a 4 Iron Will/Dead Hard sweat squadron 3000 on Badham. 4 gens were done in 3 minutes and I had 0 hooks and maybe 4 injures. Did the survivors let up and allow me to get a hook? No lol they just kept pressing E and juking/blocking line of sight. Last gen is done at like 4 minutes and I just open the gates and sit at the edge of the map looking at the sky. They sat around teabagging around me for the entire EGC.
I have almost 3k hours in the game and I've had exactly one survivor give me a free kill when I had a bad game

At high MMR, NOED is mandatory on some weak Killers. What you are describing is an End Game build, often completed by Blood Warden. This is exactly what I use with my Trapper. Explain to me OBJECTIVELY how I can win a game with such a weak and slow killer without NOED to make it easier to apply my End Game build against a high MMR SWF ?
Don't answer, it's not possible.
You pressure gens, duh
-
The game is way too fast and maps are way too safe when you're facing teams that hard split on gens and play efficiently. All of those perks block you from one chance to create a bunch of pressure and turn the game around, so you just lose
-
But we don't have TIME to do all the totems!!! It's too hard!!!
::boons up Circle of Healing 100 times a game::
-
I run NOED pretty frequently and the only time it's ever turned a 1k into a 3 or 4k for me is when the remaining survivors rush the last gen right in my face making it easy for me to slug all of them and win. Usually it gives me one additional quick down after gens are done and then the survivors leave immediately or they find the totem. NOED is nice because it procs every single game (no one does totems) and it allows me to secure 1 kill and maybe 2 if I've had like 7 or 8 hooks to that point with no kills because I didn't camp or tunnel. The perk is absolutely fine. It's okay for the killer to have one 2nd chance perk to secure a kill while survivors have 40,000,000 of them
-
I'm a killer main and I get like 95% killer daily rituals so I don't think it's related to which side you play less
-
If 4 or 5 gens got done I put the match down as unfun and extremely frustrating
-
@Nos37 said:
Should the in-game pause menu show who burnt Bloodpoint offerings?
I'd like that but you know people would cry about getting tunneled cause they burned a Badham or Coldwind offering
-
Yay another "just grow thicker skin" toxicity defender. If that's what we're going with, BHVR needs to give me back my Leatherface masks
-
Yeah, my friend is a Clown main and he 4ks at high MMR without add ons against 4 Dead Hards and strong items no problem
-
Their matchmaking doesn't even work lol. I'm on console and absolutely blow with Nurse. I got a Nurse daily and got matched against a 4 DH meta squad on Badham. I got 0 hooks and gens done in like 4 minutes. I thought I was supposed to get easier survivors on a killer I suck with. I remember when this ######### was sold as a benefit to killer players lol
-
Wow basekit blood warden would be garbage compensation for basekit BT. That perk only works when a selfish solo queue gamer leaves immediately with everyone 99ing gates
-
Cause it's not fun not being able to use Dead Hard!
-
I've never played DbD at a party
-
Your reward for not tunnelling during the game is getting DSed in the EGC where it's a free escape for the survivor
-
I've never played DbD at a party
-
Didn't BHVR widen how far players are that you can match with to alleviate queue times? Couldn't that be part of it
-
It's because playing in a coordinated SWF makes it very easy to win all the time, so the game gets boring. Rather than playing a different game when they're bored like a normal human, they decide to get their jollies by ruining the game for someone else or aggravating them
-
I don't take anyone's complaints about finding mending boring or whatever seriously. The amount of survivors that straight up chase me off the hook to take a BT hit tell me that they don't mind mending at all. If anything it should take longer to mend lol
-
Console only crossplay followed closely by dead hard being completely nuked
-
Bring back the quickscope
-
Getting camped is so BORING I don't even get to play the game for 2 minutes!!!!
::sits in exit gates for entire EGC to taunt the killer::
-
I would love this. If I could make just one change to this game, it would be to make a console only crossplay where PC is walled off. Crossplay is the worst thing to happen to this game since I started playing it back when Clown was new IMO

DS is indeed in a weird spot. He's completely un-fun to play against for most survivors while simultaneously being quite weak at the moment. So the survivors don't have fun in the chase and the DS doesn't have fun because he still loses even with fast chases because he has no map pressure.
Better killer design I think is in map pressure/map mobility/gen slow down killers. This lets the survivors have fun chases but at the same time doesn't lose the killer the game from those longer chases. Unfortunately most those killers tend to have a hit and run play style which is currently gutted and unviable from CoH.
Survivors only have fun in chase with a killer if it's someone they can loop for 5 gens like Trapper

CoconutRTS has used Steam game bans to guess if someone was recently banned from DBD. If the hacker is on Steam (most likely), check their Steam profile for a recent game ban. Also, there's a ticket review page that Coconut has shown, maybe you could find and review that every so often?
How can you search for someone's profile? Can't you just constantly change your Steam profile name? I'm on console...
-
Everytime I tune into Coco's stream every game he goes "this survivor seems a bit sus" like literally every game lol. He's consumed with paranoia!!!
-
I've reported multiple hackers recently the long way on console. I'm still going through with it even though it is a bit time consuming because OhTofu says they actually do ban people with the proper evidence. I upload the video to my generic youtube page and then fill out the additional report on the DbD website after I clicked the in-game report button next to their name. They've responded to my tickets but they won't tell me what they end up doing unfortunately. Wish they would tell us if they banned someone. Anyways I'll keep doing it but yeah it needs to be improved for sure

What kind of sandwich? I’m currently craving a nice toasted turkey sandwich with extra sharp cheddar and sliced red onions (that are all toasted).
It was a peanut butter and banana sandwich on whole wheat. Your sandwich sounds really good right about now
-
I had a squad do this to me but they used Exponential that they booned somewhere on the side of the map the library is and then kept running to the library. I just went and made a sandwich instead
-
Well if you play and lose without camping, tunneling, or slugging you still get teabagged, gg ez'd and trash talked

Yes, that was my point. Most people take without actually thinking about it because of its "supposed" greatness. But its not going to be the best choice for everyone.
He has a point here. I've noticed even the most potatohead survivors these days are all running dead hard. I'm talking survivors that run past a god loop to go to a z wall on the edge of the map
-
The killers are just having fun and playing the game!! What's the problem?? Just a cheeky little bit of fun, just like teabagging and macro flashlight clicking and emoting at safe pallets. All in good fun bro
-
Spirit sucks now. Hard countered by Iron Will that's on at least 3 survivors every single lobby. Wraith is better
-
Solo queue is only an issue when someone rage quits cause they get found first or whatever. Otherwise the game is still easy, the devs hold the survivor's hand through the exit gates. 3 and 4 man SWF is the true baby mode
-
Old Undying could easily be brought back. Survivors have enough time to boon 1,000 totems, they can keep busting hexes
-
Azarov's maybe, but Suffocation Pit is in no way killer-sided lol. The middle where jungle gyms spawn next to multiple L & Ts is complete bs, there's shack with filler pallets around it, and an extremely strong building.
-
They don't play killer at a high level, but I think Circle of Healing was the result of wanting to move units of DLC, similar to old Mettle of Man. They've shown time and time again they don't really mind shafting killers over and over
-
I played him one time since his "buff". We got sent to RPD. I was standing on the top level of the main hall by the horse statue, looking down the hall at the god pallet where I had someone on the hook at the end of the hall. I went into night shroud and I got revealed by someone standing all the way at the first door to the right of the entrance of the main hall. That large office area with the pallet and god loop, that's on the side of the building with the helicopter crash. I got revealed from there through a bunch of obstacles. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm never playing him again. I already thought he was the worst killer in the game and they nerfed him

Yes, that’s why I said “might” be. I know people here don’t really have faith in BHVR but the devs aren’t stupid. BT base kit will obviously embolden survivors more, but I’m confident BHVR knows that and might give killers something(s) in return. We’ll just have to see.
You have more faith than I. They released CoH and didn't foresee that causing any of the problems. Perk basically ruined the game for most killers. Not one dev plays killer at a high level
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Most killers should already be playing around BT.
Just like you’re already playing around DS. And dead hard. And unbreakable.
This does open a 5th perk slot, and that might seem scary. But we have no idea what the devs have in plan and how killers might be compensated.
LOLed at killers compensated. You know who the devs are, right?
-
Making BT and/or DS basekit would allow teams to stack more prove thyself, windows, spine chill, adrenaline etc. Game would be even more survivor sided than it already is
-
Just make him like his counterpart from the game lol. On-demand undetectable with a cooldown, phasing like Spirit, and a teleport
-
I thought survivors loved mending judging by how many survivors straight up chase me off of the hook to try to take a borrowed time hit. If anything, mending should take a lot longer
-
Nice job on the grind! I have every killer at P3 50 but I have two I still need all perks on (Sadako and Twins). I have a few survivors at p3 L50 all perks (dwight, meg, claudette, ash, cheryl). I'm at about 3000 hours myself. I play killer 80% of the time, survivor only for tome and dailies
-
Bug that's been in the game for like 5 years but when DS is bugged it's patched next day lol
-
OP, why don't you play a different killer and help people have variety?
-
Listen here diversity, inclusion, and representation are a strength and if don't like it, you can just play another game
-
Here come the dog whistles for the devs... "boring" "unfun" "no counterplay" "too strong for solo queue"
