Killer = that woman with the facial treatment.
Survivor = ninja assassin -
Do what you want. But don't expect survivors to give you a free sacrifice if you can't kill anyone during the match.
And don't expect gratitude from them. They might even insult you for giving the hatch. -
Just stop.powerbats said:@Tsulan said:
When you are wrong, ran out of arguments but still keep going.
When you know the person was speaking from experience and thus wasn't wrong but continue to insult them because you don't like their answer. Based upon my experience I said what had happened to me, that's no different than people talking about things that've happened to them.
By your logic then everytime someone says something on here based upon their experience they're stating it's a game mechanic. Now see how your logic can be used against you in a very valid format? I admitted I was wrong but said i was talking about it happening to me.
Thus my statement was true and in no way did I ever state it was a game mechanic. That would be you and the other person who seems intent on using it to try and insult me.
Game mechanics are constructs of rules or methods designed for interaction with the game state, thus providing gameplay. All games use mechanics; however, theories and styles differ as to their ultimate importance to the game.
Gameplay bug in game mechanics is when something happens with irregularity or regularity thus disrupting the normal gameplay mechanics. Thus creating something that may appear to be a normal gameplay mechanic or something not abnormal.
There is no argument here. You either encountered a bug or mix things up.
Not saying that you lie, but the killer doesn't keep his add-ons.
It's over. -

1. Yes, for reasons I've stated. Not sure why you say magical, everything about this game is magical. In case you didn't know, using a chainsaw does not propel you forward at ridiculous speeds.Tsulan said:
So split second difference between 2 survivors leaving is nonsense but a magical exit opening is ok.brokedownpalace said:
No, this has been suggested before it's not fair. It's not even comparable. So if the last two survivors were crossing through the exit at roughly the same time, the one a second late would just be auto sacrificed? How does that make sense? There would be zero reason for survivors to stick around and try to help a survivor that is hooked or being chased because if they do they risk being last out.. and if they're planning on escaping it would be 100% pointless to rescue someone on the hook cause one of them would be guaranteed to be auto sacrificed.Tsulan said:
I would be ok with the hatch if the killer had a similar mechanic.brokedownpalace said:The only people upset by the hatch are tryhards. It triggers them to no end that they couldn't 4k and deprive every survivor of escape points. They'd rather slug the third survivor and then sit there or run around the map for 4 minutes desperately searching for the last survivor than just move on with their lives. It's all ego.
If he plays bad, everyone is about to escape but the entity prevents the last survivor from leaving and gives the killer 7000 points for hooking that guy.
Sounds fair, doesn't it?
I don't think you fully understand why the hatch exists. If it didn't then the last 1 or 2 survivors would have no hope of escaping in games where the first 2 or 3 were killed before 3 or 4 generators were completed. Remove the hatch or make it too difficult to get for the survivors and all you're going to get is a lot more disconnects and the killers will end up 1. Missing out on a bunch of BP, 2. Have a ton of completely unsatisfying "wins," 3. Have a much harder time acquiring trophies with killers that involve killing or sacrificing all 4 survivors. The hope of the hatch is what keeps survivors playing when they're getting destroyed by the killer due to that killer being awesome or their teammates being inept.
Left Behind is a joke of a perk and in 95% of matches would end up being entirely useless. That's like telling a killer to always equip Franklin's or Lightborn even when the survivors don't have any flashlights or other items because they might get one in a chest, even though there's like a 90% chance they're just gonna get some crappy brown item.
If there was no hatch, more people would equip left behind. It would be a endgame strategy like adrenaline.
Of course if you hand out free escapes, no one ever tries to use that perk.
And being the last survivor with gens to do actually feels like a horror game. Not like NASCAR. But that's a bad thing, right?
2. End game builds are pointless for survivors because there's no guarantee you'll even make it to the end game. Adrenaline is incredibly useful in several ways. It can pay off big time so it's worth the times you don't get to use it. With Left Behind, generators still take a decent chunk of time and if you're the last survivor then all the killer is doing is patrolling gens. If you have more than one gen left then the likelihood of you being able to avoid the killer and do them is close to zero. And even if you do, random generation could put the exit gates very close together or within view of one vantage point.
I'm just gonna stop there because it's frustrating debating with you when you're saying nonsensical things. Especially when the points you're making are not even actually countering the things I've said.
Right now the hatch is poorly implemented and a free win. Often undeserved. I had tons of matches where the last survivor escaped through the hatch and had 9-10.000 bloodpoints at the end screen. He didn't participate in the match, didn't repair or distract or unhook. He only waited in the locker for the best part of the match. But he deserves a free win, because he's the last one.
Here's my comment from the first page.Tsulan said:That´s called bad luck. Can´t win every match.
My proposal:
1. remove the hatch
2. gens can´t regress anymore, once there is only 1 survivor left
3. 5 minute timer starts that only stops when the survivor is repairing a gen, being chased or in the terror radius of the killer. Timer is only visible to the survivor. Once the time is over, the survivor starts to scream like he does against the doctor. This repeats every 60 seconds and gets shorter the often it happens.
4. OPTIONAL: survivor gets a gen repair speed bonus which stacks with Left Behind.
-
I somehow doubt that.No_Cluie_Louis said:@GunManSpy said:
Mmm, that's pretty good...I'm kidding of course that must suck. I got stuck inside a locker in the dying state one time (I lagged too trying to get inside the locker when he hit me), killer couldn't get me out so I bled to death. And all these problems related to getting stuck in things is due to lag

They need dedicated servers man, that would fix 90% of the bugs.
They would require way more players for dedicated servers. Would require server farms around the world, so you don't get a worse ping than you have right now.
They also would have to rewrite a big chunk of code. Since this game wasn't planned for dedicated servers.
All this costs a ton of money. Unless the game gets popular like LoL or R6, I doubt that they even consider it. -
Nice.

People used to depip to bully new players. Mission accomplished.
Now they need to adjust the matchmaking. So a SWF group isn't matched for the lowest rank.
They could also introduce a checkbox where new players are free to choose if they want to be matched with higher ranks, when the game doesn't find other players of their rank. -

Where did i say anything about body blocking hooks? You have a habit of putting stuff into peoples mouths.
Survivors shouldn't be able to body block the killer. Period.
Killers can't body block the hook anymore, because biased survivor mains like you complained non stop how unfair face camping is. Devs gave survivors like always everything they asked for and introduced swivel hooks for survivors. While keeping the fixed hook for killers. Survivors can unhook from any angle but killers can only hook from one angle. And this is "fair" because the killer can hit the survivors.
Bullshit!
You know what, I've never been taken hostage by the killer in 1000 hours. But dozens of times the survivors took my game hostage. But that's ok, because survivor issues are somehow more important. Not like there are humans on both sides.
You keep calling me killer main, but I play more solo survivor than killer. I never found it difficult to play solo. To play the way this game is meant to be played. But you act like this game is hard as survivor. -

So killers shouldn't be able to pip with a 4k because they use a ultra rare add-on.MegMain98 said:
That was obviously a Tombstone Myers. Getting no emblems in a chase OR sacrifice will not happen if you get a 4K. You’ll double pip normally with a 4K. @Tsulan remember when i said killers usually get more BPs than survivors? I'm not the only one who thinks that.
Yeah, well, you're both wrong.
Killers may get more per game, but Survivors generally get more per hour as they can move on from games and go into a new one much quicker than the Killer can, who always has to wait until it ends.
And even if it were the other way round, I think it would be justified by the fact that Killers only have single-use Add-ons, unlike Survivors.
Yeah but it is also much easier to pip with a killer than a survivor. You basically have to be the MVP in the round to double pip as a survivor. As a killer all you gotta do is kill on the safety pip and all four to double pip. You can climb the ranks easy with killer and go from Rank 20 to Rank 10 in a matter of a few hours while the survivor side is much more grindy to climb the ranks. Killers get more bloodpoints per round (normally) and pip easier. Survivors just have the luxury of jumping from game to game quicker.
I beg to differ. It´s not easier to pip as killer.
4k with 5 gens up.

It's important when it comes to the situation i explained. I think i can say that most survivors focus on the gens already instead of the hatch. Survivors only think about the hatch when there are no other options.
EDIT: if 4 gens are done i'll surely consider to finish the last one. I've survived many times thanks to that while killer was camping the hatch.
I died so often with 1 gen left to do, only to see the other survivor instanly leave through the hatch.
If there are only 2 survivors left, most of the time, the survivors will search for the hatch instead of doing the last gen.Yeah, sometimes happens, i don't get why they do it. Teamwork is the thing i enjoy the most and that's one of the reasons why i main a survivor.
Thats why the hatch needs to go. Its counter productive to teamwork.

Does League of Legends give you 10,000 gold as pity because your randoms are feeding?
Does Overwatch give you SR for a loss because your team couldn't get a grip?Team games, of all variety, require the team to work together to overcome whatever it is, in other cases another team, in this case a killer.
You got a bad team? Oh well, accept honorable defeat and move to the next one and hope they're better.
You shouldn't be given an advantage because your team "sucks", and you certainly shouldn't be given a free WIN.
Further, what about the guy who did squat all game and urban immersion'ed around the whole map not touching gens just to pop into the hatch and leave you to die?
Hatch needs to be removed completely for the time being, or at the very least closing it is balanced. And the end game needs to be reworked for both sides.
No reason a killer should have to completely give up on the last person at the end of every game because of the threat of the hatch or standoff, when they played well enough up to that point to deserve the full win.
You have more brains to put together, killer's got the one. Gen speed is ludicrous as it is, hatch is a bad mechanic.
I still don't see the problem with the hatch. You got 3 kills, is SO important that 4th one? Killer can still kill the last survivor before survivor gets the hatch, it's not like every survivor manages to escape through it.
Removing the hatch would also remove the uncertainty of the match's result, making it less interesting because everyone knows what's going to happen when you are the last one and there are still 2 or 3 gens needed. Providing a hatch makes the match interesting till the very end. -

Maybe chance the hatch in a way that it doesn´t guarantee 7000 BP but instead gives a 25% chance to get those points. The other 75% could result in a horrible death and even cost the survivor points.

No, but i understand that the unhooked survivor has the impression that he´s being tunneled.Camping is... well survivors like to call everything camping. Killer can be far enough away to trigger MYC and still be called a camper. Yes, there are some killers which just like to stay near the hook and wait for others. That´s not fun, but a secondary effect of the Victory Cube. We don´t have it anymore, but old habbits die hard.
Only solution i see is to give the killers more incentives to leave the hook. Maybe buff the aura reading of BBQ instead of nerfing it. Or make Devour Hope a hexless perk.I agree on the rest tho.

To each one his own. I find Pam cute.

That´s called bad luck.
So... Nea?
