No one likes the twins 🤣 Even the spirit is less hated than the twins.

You're not the only one. I haven't been taking many chances when it comes to blood warden if I even suspect they probably have it (dead giveaway are the killers that open a door manually before hooking the downed survivor but the smarter killers are usually more meticulous).
I've also seen a rise in noed users lately creating very unfortunate situations (i.e, the killer is camping so you're having to look for noed and none of the team has found it so the decision has to be made if the team will risk a one shot for a rescue or leave them behind.)
Honestly I don't really have any issues with either of these perks. The outcomes can be very unfortunate and unlucky but those perks are endgame perks for the killer for a reason.
Noed always been used by a good portion... It's the 3 most used killer perk. But the blood warden spike is something that is new to me. It used to be super rare and I would mostly see freedy users having it. But now I see it more, and more even killers that are not freedy. And yeah now I'm actually scared if a killer is slugging in the end game.
-
You really have to be attentive. Like be able to notice grass movement, blood pools, etc. And yeah you need to be good with tracking with noise. So it's basically more about the noise survivors make more than anything, which is why the strider nerf pissed of a lot of spirit mains. I played her but she was not fun for me, her power felt dull boring.
-
I don't think it was fixed. it just happens that people stopped grinding as killer, and also got their crowns. And the new wave of players either tried killer and did not like it and moved on from the game, or become survivor mains. But yeah killer ques are basically the same as pre-event.

In the RE games when you get attacked by zombies you have to do a QTE where the zombies attack you and you have to shake them off... Maybe something like this but with a skillcheck? just to at least avoid going down from being injured. I think it'd be neat if it killed the zombie if you did this. it would take a second which could give nemesis a second to snatch you up if he's nearby.. rather than just going down instantly regardless.
Maybe something similar to the twins. But the point being is if zombies are near the gen, you can't do much about quickly it in an efficient way, unless you have a pallet nearby, or a flashlight or certain perk mainly head on.
-
Personally I think there should be a way to take them out someway other than using a pallet, or certain perks. Like maybe have the ability to kick them after they miss an attack or something similar to that. Because yeah nemesis has best build in gen pressure in the game.
-
Worst maps in the game honestly. I don't like them when play killer or survivor.
-
I would have said the trickster pre-buffed ptb. But after the ptb test he will be usable, at least A or B level.

Going to be honest I feel if there was no ranking system there wouldn't be as many tryhards
I feel there should be a non-ranked, and ranked mode. That way all the sweaty survivors, and sweaty killers can have at it. Because if they are are really sweaty then I would assume they would care about their ranks, so they would play ranked to stay at rank 1.
-
Glad you saw the light. I think that expecting to get 4 sacrifices, or expecting to escape EVERY SINGLE game is just not fun. Because realistically everyone loses once in a while. I used to think like that, but I realized it's not even fun with that mindset if anything it creates stress in my opinion. And thankfully I changed my expectations as well a long time ago, and have fun in different ways.

Deja Vu is a fairly simple perk. You see the aura of the 3 gens closest to eachother for a short amount of time. Pair this up with a brown toolbox and you will never get 3genned again, unless your teammates do.

So, opinions on
brown toolboxesDeja Vu?Have I done this before? GoobyNugget.
Naw use detective hunch's, it's essentially deja vu, and plunders plus totem locations so it's all in one perk. With detective hunch I can see all the gens so I usually try to get the closest ones that are together.

I don't use the perk anymore as Survivor because I'll never be pro at it like I've seen some people are when I play high rank Killer. I always get hit before it activates in time, or I’ll use it too early.
I personally gain much more capital in a chase from a perk like Sprint Burst.
Precisely my point, dead hard will probably get nerfed like BL. Then they will want sprint burst to get nerfed XD
Only the real sweaty survivor make the perk look good which is less then 10% of the survivor users.

Spoken like someone who has no idea what they are talking about. Dead Hard isn't just the best survivor perk, it's the best perk in the game period, if you are using it to dodge a hit then you are dumb and have no idea how to use it, if you use it for what it is best at (a THIRD HEALTH STATE EVERY CHASE) then you would understand why it is broken beyond belief and needs a total rework.
Have fun "baiting" my Dead Hard when I use it for distance and safely make it to that god pallet and now it's another 30s just for you to catch up to me. :)
Not really I'm speaking for the majority of survivors. I know that the sweats in this game use it at the right moments in tiles to drop pallets etc. But since it's the second most used survivor perk according to their stats, yet still the perk fails for majority of survivors because when I play killer most DH into a wall or nothing. But you can still bait it if you get those survivors out positioned. Which is why I still think spring burst is the best exhaustion perk since it actually can be effectively used by most survivors. I don't rely on dead hard myself.

@tippy2k2 said:
It's what is always going to be a problem with the perk. Against an average survivor, the perk might not matter all that much. It'll save them a few seconds, maybe an extra loop if they really time it right
But against a Red Rank Survivor who REALLY knows what they're doing, the perk can be downright devastating. I've gone against survivors who have essentially gotten an extra 30+ seconds from it because I FINALLY almost had them in my grasp only for them to DH their way to the next pallet, drop it, and then hope into the next loop again.
The biggest problem is going to be finding a way to nerf that part without downright killing the perk and to be honest, I'm not sure there is a way to do that. There is ALWAYS going to be survivors who know every little trick to maximize perks. DH just happens to be an easy target for killer rage since unlike the other exhaustion perks, you can just DH whenever you feel like it so there's no real need to worry about setting it up properly.
I'm not an average survivor, and I still think the perk is the most overrated perk. But we know that in most public matches most survivors won't use it like that. And the perk can't save you from certain killers, mainly one hitters. Also I don't know what they want to nerf, the immunity it gives you, or the distance part which is the point exhaustion perks. But I'm sure they will nerf dead hard and most survivors will use sprint burst, which is going to be the next perk that will want to get nerfed since everyone will run it.
-
It would be unfair for last gen consoles, or low end pc users to be punished for something out their power. And I don't think they could allow the penalty to apply to certain platforms only.
-
Nothing more annoying than taking a my hand of the space key to grab a drink of water only for a skill check to pop out of nowhere. 😂
-
Right now he is one the weakest killer. But after he gets his buff he will be at least an A tier. And he will surely become one of the most hated killer in the game, maybe even as hated a spirit.
-
Yes they are probably one of the top 5 killers. They can do very well vs good teams. While I don't play them a whole lot, it's one the least that I played they are very strong. But yeah people don't know how strong they are since they are rarely played at all.
-
I mean if all you enjoy is winning then I could see why you feel like that. But not every game goes like that tbh even as a rank 1 killer.
-
Not like hag. But something more like demo I would not mind.
-
The ques have been getting faster for killers in the past couple of days. But yeah people are grinding for points, and with killer you can easily earn way more points than as a survivor. And killers actually get a lot of cakes. After the event is over the ques will return back to normal.
-
Trickster and the twins has one of the best add-ons in the game.

Eruption is a freaking headache to play against as Survivor.
Eruption + Surge + Oppression + PGTW makes me want to just DC.
I have not seen people use the perk, I only seen it like 3 or 4 times. I would rather deal with people using those perk honestly, than the ruin/undying with pop. Because at least the killers has to work to get the regression to activate. And what I seen what I'm going assume is SWF, since they seem to know when a survivor is going to down across the map. Without using empathy. But what they do is probably do is tell their friends I'm about to go down get off the gen. That is a way you can work around it. But I rather have that than ruin/undying in a map like larry without detective hunch it can be pretty hard to find totems.
-
While eruption and pop combined is the best alternative to ruin and undying. I still think ruin is the king of gen regression perks. Now it's high risk high reward. But It will do more damage when it stays up during the match, than eruption and pop.
-
Expect to get tunneled in half of your matches.
-
I'm using it. It's a great perk on 115% killers. I tried using in it with huntress, and the trickster but it did not work as good as I hoped. But with 115% killer it's great. I combined it with pop, and oppression. But on with basic M1 killers I replaced oppression with surge as OP said. And it's a great alternative to ruin and undying, since you don't have to worry about survivors destroying the perk. Use it on gens nearby so it could be easier to kick and for surge to do damage. You don't even really need to have a third perk, you can make it work with pop and thus this being a good alternative to the ruin meta.
-
Nothing matters at the end game. You can camp, tunnel and slug. Anything goes.

How are you landing knives? What tips do you have for exactly how your using the controller?
I know you said you tried it out already. But keep on trying to learn by tapping. I had another console user tell me they could hit by tapping. And since if we hold M1 we get horrible recoil, I'm going to assume it's the same case for controller. And another thing the slightest movement can cause recoil as well. So try to keep the analog still.
-
No since his power gets kind of dull honestly. He is weak at the beginning. But once you build up his power his pretty strong. Basically if the survivors are all infected any pallet they vault becomes a hit or down. He really is quite simple, I get bored of him after 1 or 2 matches.
-
Dude on pc we get recoil if we hold M1. I'm assuming since you guys are used to hold R2 when playing FPS games, you guys are holding the the button. Try tapping, I tap on pc so I don't get recoil.

Trust me I do. I started running Inner Strength and Small Game religiously. As long as I have time, I break any totem I see
Best feeling in this game for survivors is for a killer to realized that their NOED does not pop up at the end 🙂
-
Yes there has been an increase in NOED I have noticed it in red ranks. That is why I run detective hunch's and destroy all totems if the killer is performing bad. But if not I always keep a mental note of where all the totems are located at. But even the stats showed NOED was the 3 most popular perk for killers. So always destroy dull totems.

This is how I would do Basekit NOED/Corrupt/Key
CORRUPT:
Generators:
- Introduce Disrepair state
- Generators in Disrepair require a Part to be fixed and have progress started.
- The Killer cannot tell the difference between a Generator in Disrepair and one that is not in Disrepair.
- 2 nearest Generators to Survivors start the Trial in Disrepair
- Farthest Generator from The Killer starts the Trial in Disrepair.
Part:
- Open Chests can be Rummaged to find a Part Item.
- Parts can be installed into a Generator in Disrepair
- BNP no longer adds extra generator repair progress, instead functioning as a Part.
Chest:
- Chests that can still be Rummaged for a Part have noticeable metal bits in the bottom texture.
Appraisal (Perk):
- Rummaging for a Part takes priority, or Appraisal uses the Secondary Action Button.
Corrupt (Perk):
- Blocks Generators in Disrepair for the same duration and highlights them.
NOED:
Integrate Totems as a Core side-Objective.
- Dull Totems turn into Hex Totems when the Exit Gates are powered. These Hex Totems can be Crushed by The Killer to Expose Survivors for 60s.
- Totems play Whispers while a Player is within 4m, accompanied by a slight black fog screen border. (an audio/visual tell that allows Totems to be placed in much less obvious visible spots, think hollowed out tree trunk)
HATCH/Key:
Keys:
- Opens Breakable Walls and Chests, no longer opens Hatch.
Hatch:
- Is removed and is replaced with a Primordial Rift under the same spawning conditions.
Primordial Rift: (The Observer is no longer simply Observing, The Entity has already had its fill and at this point its a symbiotic relationship, Hope once again where hope was lost)
- Three states: Inert, Sundered, Open
- Starts the Trial Inert, with visibility under the same conditions as The Hatch.
- Is much like the current tome glyphs with how it appears to Survivors/Killer when visible.
- Inert Rifts that are visible can be Sundered by Survivors at 1c/s.
- Sundered Rifts take 60c to Open and Alert The Killer of their presence.
- Multiple Survivors can help (similar to the Demogorgon's Portals) (Edit: Would need to have diminishing returns for each Survivor)
- Survivors that Interact with an Open Rift escape the Trial.
- Killers can close Sundered and Open Rifts, beginning the End-game Collapse. (Edit: Perhaps only starting the EGC when all Exit Gates have been powered, otherwise resetting all progress)
- The Rift Opens when there is only one Survivor remaining.
New Item: Memento
- When you Cleanse a Totem it drops a Memento (a Skull)
- Using this Item reveals Rifts within 8m.
- Sacrificed/Killed Survivors leave behind a Memory Rift visible only to those holding a Memento.
- Interacting with a Memory turns the held Memento into a Charged Memento.
- Mementos add 1c/s to the Sunder Action.
- Each Memory a Memento has absorbed adds an additional 2c/s to the Sunder Action while held.
- Standing over a Charged Memento with another Memento will allow the Shared Knowledge Action, transferring all Memories to the held Memento.
Please tell me this is 🐡🔗
-
Biggest crutch perk out there to put in nicely. I personally would like it if after the 5 gen is completed it warned survivors the killer has NOED.
-
I mean both sides use strong perks. So I don't see why certain folks complain about builds.
-
It made sense not to be able to block players back then since there was a less active players and no cross-play. But now a days with cross-play, and a larger active player base. I feel that maybe survivors/killers would be able to get matches now even if they get blocked.

If you play Solo Queue, then yes
Ironically I always get up to rank 1 in killer, despite me not wanting to be in rank 1. I don't even try it's easy. Now solo survivor takes more time because you have to depend on other random people.

Because getting to red rank is the easiest thing ever in this game.
It's just a matter of time rather than a matter of skill
Getting to red rank killer is the easiest thing in the game. Now getting to red rank solo survivor is much harder.
-
@TwitchyMike said:
I don't know why I even try any other killer in red ranks besides spirit and nurse. It's not fun just being endlessly looped all game. I am starting to see why killers hate the loop to loop game. I see why people play nurse and spirit. Though I find both of these killers hard to learn so I will take the time to do so. Spirit and nurse is the anti loop killer.
WAIT!... WAIT! WHERE IS THE "HOLD SHIF+W" crowd at?
See my point being if survivors are good looper you got people who complain about that. Me I rather deal with people who don't know how to loop and run instead.
But to your point, if all you care about is getting 4 sacrifices at the end of the match, then yeah go for it. Learn nurse and spirit. Since godlike nurses pretty much rarely ever lose public matches. Unless they get in indoor map like larry. But I have won in red ranks with different killers. I won with most killers in red rank, however I will say it takes a lot of practice to get to know how to play the tiles. It just takes experience, once you learn how to play the tiles then you should have an easier time. Legion can get you into pretty good habits of learning how to play tiles. And some matches honestly it's best to accept that you will lose, meaning don't always expect to get a 4 sacrifices. And with some games it's probably best to leave the good loopers and find another person in hope that they are not decent loopers. And realistically with some killers in red ranks you will have much harder time, mainly the weaker killers.

I would because it would be fair to both sides to not have a perk immediately be nullified by BS RNG.
So assuming boon totems do come out. If they are the same as killer totems high risk, high reward. As a killer would you wanna go looking around for survivor totems for a while. Would you mind having to waste an entire minute looking for a totem?
Lets say the survivor totem has a 5 second bamboozle for killer. Or it removed bloodlust for killers.
-
When survivor get their own totems, you guys are not going to be saying what you're saying now.
-
There is worse spot totems could spawn on to be honest. Anyway totems are high risk, high reward. And plus with survivors getting their own totems in the future, killers will have to find totems as well.

The line between confidence and BMing can be slim sometimes. I don't like when survivors run along behind me while I carry someone to the hook (apart from the free hit or grab I get) or run in circles after a pallet because it gives the impression they're not taking me seriously. I don't mind the gen commitment much because that usually equates to free hits, but survivors trying to tech and bait me are a bit obnoxious because... well, the fact that they think I don't know what they're doing irks me. The cheekier my opponents are, the more serious I take the match, and I prefer to play as non-serious as possible.
Also, I don't know anyone who doesn't get annoyed when they get bodyblocked. Especially with BT.
I'm also less fond of those matches because fearless survivors tend to complete gens quicker - they don't spook as easily and they go straight back to gens as soon as they're not being chased, so it's harder to split pressure without slugging. Confident teams end the match faster and that's no fun.
Though I'm not a killer-only player; didn't catch that part of the title.
How about survivors who moonwalk during a chase? 😂
-
@Laluzi said:
They annoy me a bit. Not as much as open BMing, but I'll play hardball with them and the usual rules I have in place to try and make things fun for survivors don't always apply.
Confident survivors without the skill or proper timing to back themselves up are hilariously fun, though.
Why do they annoy you? If they are not doing any shenanigans that is, if they just confident?

I agree oppression is really nice and get better as the game goes on
Problem with oppression is that the cooldown is too long. It should be 30 seconds, 90 is waaaaaaaaay too much.
-
Even if you could see the mine you would have to take it if you got pop goes the weasel.
-
Trickster with his buffed version will be at least an -A tier. I would put huntress and the twins over demo. Overall demo is a b. And oni is below blight and the hag. But nemesis is a B, I will say he is weak in the beginning so you start of slow, but you build power in the game and he easily become a strong killer.

I don't like tier lists too much because they serve no purpose besides having fun, anyways this is my tier list.
IMO Huntress and Oni are overrated, why?
Huntress: She only performs well against bad players and is only effective because of her fridge sized hatches, besides that she's hopeless against the majority of the loops in the game.
Oni: He's just a M1 killer that has shorts burst of power, if you don't get your first hit early you're going to have trouble during the match.
I have to agree huntress is pretty overrated. Either you will destroy a team, or get looped into oblivion.
-
I don't know why, but the swamps maps are my least favorite map as both killer and survivor, just the like the old game that map was horrible.
-
Too be fair killer is easier than it has ever been. Think about the old days when most maps and loops were survivor sided. So I think low rank/new killers have it the easiest. While new rank survivors have it the hardest, especially solos. Now higher rank survivor is much easier, while higher rank killer is harder.
