Thing is I play more red ranks than purple ranks
-
I do thank you all for your input but I also wanna say this. When I play survivors my rank I do not get gen rushed as much. Only when I play red ranks is when everyone starts gen rushing hence my first 2 games of the day. My last match was against people my rank therefore I wasn't gen rushed as heavily.

IKR. I couldn't beleive it when they each said it. And these were Red Ranks. No idea on how long they'd played since PS4 doesn't show times, judging from their trophy lists, they had over 75% of the total trophies, so that was a general idea. I mean, if they think Wraith is OP, god help them when they run into an actual stronger killer!
They left because OoO is ######### against wraith

Are you facing survivors that see you and run and hide for the next 5 minutes? Because a smart survivor will run until he's not chased any more, and go right back to the gen. I regularly repair gens in the terror radius of killers when I know they're chasing someone else because there's nothing they can do to stop both of us
I faced survivors who played stealthy all game until I found one. Then they hopped on gens and just held m1 in groups. By the time of my second down 3 gens had popped and the 3 gen strat wasn't possible. Might I mention it was myers so getting to the first few gens was a trial on it's own. Really I think I'm not gonna be able to slow it down until I get corrupt intervention

It really does depend on your killer, Assuming you're myers corrupt is about your only real option to stop gap those first few gens from going off while you build your power. Thrilling Tremors is a slept on perk in combination with Ruin. And it'll give you free information on who's working on a gen while you're hooking your first few people. If you don't want to crutch Corrupt you can swap it out for tremors+ruin its not as strong as tremors in the front half of the game but usually by mid game its still pretty powerful. And Don't sleep on thanatophobia plus dying light.
If slowing the game down is a priority any combination of those 4 perks is enough give you some gains. But as Michael you got it pretty rough at the start of the game not gonna lie.....
Mainly it's the early game I have an issue with if I get tier 3 99ed before yall do 3 gens it's over since I'm making sure one of you die before that final gem is popped. Last game today I ended the game at 3 gens with a merciless. It's mainly if they starve me or if they gen rush me is when I get destroyed
-
@CashelP14 said:
I'd say note down a few gens that are extremely close and decent them at all costs. Make sure you slug when you get to 3 or less gens left if you need pressure. Pop is an excellent perk and on some killers like Legion and Doctor I find it works extremely well with Ruin.
I'd also say on instadown killers bring Infecrious Fright and Save The Best For Last on ability killers like Demo, Deathslinger and Pyramid Head. This way you can chain downs extremely quickly which will help you get lots of pressure.
Same thing I said to killer main

All jokes aside, try to play the long game and perhaps do a 3 gen?
3 gen strat aren't that fun unless they 3 gen themselves then its hilarious.
-
Ok for starters I'm a myers main. Secondly I have no teachables other than ruin, pop, monitor, bbq, agitation, brutal, stridor. And I have every base perk and teachable i have tier 3. So those perks that band aid issues aren't really helpful. I am trying to get corrupt because my m8 said he would game share as long as I had the bp to instantly buy the teachable which is about 800k to 1 mill

Discordance helps but a good swf will always 2 man gens because you can't get much done in 45 seconds.
Yeah because literally I got like 2 downs and hear 3 or 4 gens pop. Literally couldn't do anything because I'm myers on Macmillan so that match sucked in general. Then the matchmaking gave me red ranks as well who I no doubt think is a 4 man. It really wasn't fun it's the reason why I slowed down on playing the game. As soon as I hit purple everyone starts gen rushing like crazy

Me a myers main when someone tells me to pick a different killer:

I have endgame chat closed and my Steam profile public, so I can't get that type of stuff. My only rule during a game is: I'll play nice until you start acting like a rear-end. Then I'll show you what Laurie felt like in every sequel she was in and and tunnel your ass as Myers.
For me if you piss me off I'll throw the game then literally walk into the hook and just look at you. Piss me off I'm making sure you don't pip

Critique to past and now.
One can see you improved in some areas, some things can still be worked on. What I do see you struggle most is when to lunge and go for a hit, often you will simply swing and end up short. You really should know when you can get a hit and when not, most of the times it is when survivors do vault or at a palle (go for the swing [when laurie vaulted the window that shouldn't have hit and yet it did] a swing when people are running from you should never end up short). Also tracking survivors like laurie vaults a window and you can see the scratchmarks outside but do go back in to check for locker and i was totally confused by it.
You have addons which lets you stalk people faster and yet somehow you stop use the power at all so why bring that addons? Like at 3 minutes you have T3, the match goes almost 12 min and that will be the only time you use T3. Use it! It makes myers more of a threat in chase to survivors and an instadown is threating all times.
Than for the early game, do not bother to kick a gen. It is literally useless, you waste 6seconds in the animation alone and when you are done you have to find a survivor again and in addition to that close distance on her/him again. So why is it a waste of time? Well a survivor can stop the regressing of the gen, with a simple tap. So keep chasing/stalking but do not waste time on that.
Also the approach to that first gen is strange to me. You are t1, they need to see you or hear you in order to get noticed that you are stalking. Yes survivors should check their surroundings but sometimes people are distracted. So you couldve gone for stalking at the gen or for a grab by coming down the other way. Both ways seem to benefit you more instead of jumping into the middle via the vault and they just run. Also notice how claudette is so much faster as adam, she has SB. So next time when you see her you should keep that in mind, pay attention to your opponents perks!
When you activate t3, you should be as close as possible. Usually the way i do it is either an ambush or you are in a chase, pop it and get the down. You want to have as much snowball as possible from that power spike in t3 so do not waste 10 seconds chasing because you popped it too early or late.
After your t3 you end up with 1 hooked and one on the ground, Laurie was hooked before iirc and comes at you before you pick up claudette. The moment you decide to pick up the slugged one, she goes for the save. She was already injured so why not at least whack her once or see if you can trigger exhaustion since the other survivor wasn't there yet? I mean maybe it is because you wanted her to get the save but i am not sure about it. Later it turns out she has portable borrowed time but I think in general it would be easier to get it drained right there. Imagine she uses it, picks up claudette and you immediately whack claudette again -> she has to recover completely even if the other survivor arrives which should give you enough time to down laurie again.
I am sorry dude, i am tired and will go to bed now. Hope this helps and might continue tomorrow.
I wasn't playing my hardest although my lunges were pure garbage but yeah I knew they had sprint burst both claudette and david had it at the start and I'm not sure about the other 2 since I do not remember. What I do remember is I had sloppy and most of them were injured it would have been a waste to use tier 3 when they are already one shot because I use tier 3 as an insta down not a let me vault windows super fast. But I thank you for your critique, it shows I still have room to grow

@Heartbound said:
I will critique, generally cause I'm a clicky clicky teabag boi half the time and I have some experiences.
In the first second you instantly find the Bill and hook him. How long was the early game? How long did it take you to find him? Who knows. Myers early game before first hook is supremely important and you're in T2 at the start. That makes it you really hard to critique.
Gen gets done. (first hook and 2 gens popping is normal, especially with a setup killer) I know stalking highlights a survivor in white but if you know they're there then...why? Its bad for searching.
Dwight shows up and you're too in awe to strike his excellence. That's normal and I don't blame you. He loops you til another gen pops and YOU DON'T STALK EVEN ONCE. Going for Bill again was going for the weak link, which helps but at this point Relentless looks like a good perk. Missing like that will make red rank survivors think you're farming. It's good to lull them into a false sense of security. I also like to see that you put Iron Grasp to good use by hooking Bill immediately instead of taking him to the basement. Galaxy brain play.
Then you find a Feng Min that thinks she's playing a P3 Claudette and really show Relentless should be a perk you use. That's not an insult either. You need it until you're used to the swing distance. (Also hitting your obsession drained your STBFL stacks. You should have just stalked her there.
Meg acts like a Meg and you get your first Tier 3 at 2 gens remaining. Big oof.
Weak link Bill goes down for good, but did you really need to pop on him? You could have saved it for a stronger survivor like Dwight.
Now you might say "But I got Dwight at the end of that Tier 3!" Yeah but saving your Tier 3 for actual threats can be...wait wait...DID YOU DOWN DWIGHT WITH IRON GRASP RIGHT NEXT TO THE BASEMENT AND YET AGAIN NOT USE THE BASEMENT? Why even run the perk? Good lord.
You hang around Dwight, but that's fair since all the survivors are there which means they're not on comms and coordinating saves and you admit subconsciously that Dwight is the best player there, and pop T3 again. Miss miss miss.
Meg runs loops like a Meg with expected results. Then you waste the rest of your T3 by kicking gens instead of hunting survivors. Run Infectious Fright if you can't find people, it helps you snowball.
Feng again wishes to the deepest recesses of her heart that she was a P3 Claudette and gets found easily. One only shudders to imagine what would happen if she did gens instead of crouching around the map. She then expertly runs out into absolutely nothing and goes down.
You then watch the hook with Feng on it. I understand. A player like that will be hard to catch again so she does need a lot of attention.
Then you start a chase with Meg, and instead of following her out of the house with the big red trail of scratch marks you check upstairs. Megs are known masterminds so she may have been ready to loop you for the remainder of the game so I understand your uncertainty there.
Now at this point you've kicked the upstairs gen about 3 or 4 times now. Forget that. Chase the survivor down the hole and down them. They get considerable distance if you dally.
You begin another chase with Dwight who has not healed. He wants to make sure he can use his Dead Hard in case you go after him with Tier 3 again which I understand. A normal Myers would be building up his stalk for those sweet one shots. One shots that you...have put little effort into. Dwight starts smart but leaves his loop to run into absolutely nothing and doesn't even dead hard. I am still firm he's the best player on the team. Are you sure these guys are toxic? I don't think so Tim. They're kinda chill.
You're down to 1 gen and you hook Dwight again on the closest hook instead of going to the basement. Do you really think Galaxy Brain Meg and Fengdette with her mystical crouching skills are going to block you?
You max out stalk on Fengdette and continue to stalk her for no gain until Meg pulls Dwight off the hook. Now you stalk Dwight as he leaves and get Full T3 again ready to pop. That's not too bad. So we're in another Meg chase. You then hit Meg and give her a sprint burst instead of popping T3 and instantly downing her. Okay sure why not. Meg in all of her toxicity capitalizes on this sprint burst by running into absolutely nothing. You then again refuse to use the basement despite having Iron Grasp. I know it smells bad down there but you're not getting your mileage out of that perk.
You somehow get a final pinch of stalk off of Fengdette and pop T3...when everyone's injured. K. For the team Dwight finishes the last gen and keeps you busy while his team escapes, like a leader should. He Dead Hard's so gloriously that legends will be told forever after of how good it was. You're now at 4 STBFL stacks. Not even getting half the mileage out of your perk. Switch it out.
Since you're in T3 the survivors know you're coming, and one of the doors is open. That means the other survivor should...open the other door? Definitely a toxic team on comms. Right.
Meg exercises while generously allowing you enough stalk (that you didn't take at all during the match) to T3 and search for the final survivor.
Fengdette gives you bloodpoints for hitting her at the exit gate, practicing her Claudette wannabe moves.
2 Kills 2 escapes is balanced, and you see how easy it is to pip for survivor. In my heart I know there are depip squads out there that will absolutely slam an M1 Killer like Myers and it makes me want to give you a hug, pat your head and shield you from the horrors the Entity has to offer.
You did ask for critique though so...thar ya go nerd.
God damn I was boosted back then. How tf did I not notice the basement. Also I found that bill relatively quickly

I have seen many complaints about my big boy. The best counter is actually to run away, but there is one little thing that you may not know yet. We all know this certain situations where you are on a pallet and have to make a decision.
Option A: Drop the pallet and get hit by POTD (M2)
Option B: Do not drop the pallet and get hit by a basic attack (M1)
In fact, you can also avoid the hit of option A by using Dead Hard. But I have never been a fan of perks countering a killer and I will most likely never be a fan of that. But there is actually an Option C that most people don't know about, I think.
Option C: Drop the pallet and vault it.
Yes, Pyramid Head cannot hit you with its POTD when you jump over a pallet. Since the cooldown on POTD is quite long, you can make the pallet vault again without the risk of being hit. This is not the easiest thing to do and may require some practice, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be pretty helpful in the future.
This even has mindgame potential. Will you use this vault tech as survivor again on the next chase? What if PH expects that and therefore does NOT use his power because he thinks you will simply jump over the pallet again?
Time will tell if Option C is good enough, but I definetly see potential.
I once got hatch because this ph was stunned I dodged his ranged attack with dead hard

It seems like every time we get a console killer (we're on PC), there's always some console killer who doesn't care about tunneling or camping whatsoever, plays that weird console meta build with Devour Hope (literally like 90% of the console bros), and it's just not a fun experience. They always accuse people on PC of "hacking" (lol, really sad that skill = "hacking") and then they do toxic crap thinking it's fine. I would turn off cross-play if it didn't pair us with the exact same killer a few matches in a row (legit our experience, no lie) so I don't feel I have much of a choice. I wish there was some kind of incentive to discourage toxic gameplay...on both sides honestly.
Oh and before anyone says anything, yes I have run BT and DS. Do I feel like running those perks every game? No, I can't predict when someone will drop skill requirements in order to use a crutch to gain an advantage.

For your second post here leads me to still be confused. Pc Huntress being able to aim better? Oni plays slugging and going after the next survivor with fright to logically put their power to good use? Since your statement as a whole relay on someone just knowing or getting lucky and guessing what you mean. When it stops happening to me on a regular basis I'll consider it. Honestly I love the crossplay and playing with/against console players. Just wish they took some aggro or actually waited to make a safe unhook instead of bum rushing. Yes PC players do it too but when I play with friends, we're usually 2 man swf, it's almost always the console players that unhook then hide so I get downed again. I'm also not attaking a specific console, they could be windows, switch, Xbox, PS4, for all I know.
Sincerely a PC Hybrid player (Not Surv or Killer main)
You have not encountered every single console survivor. Therefore have no right to make generalizations like that. Only time I'd every go for unhook with the killer on me is to make them hit you giving me distance to move him away from you. Not every player is a boosted rank 20 who just got the game. plus pc survivors do the same so don't be like OnLy CoNsOlE dOeS tHat when you still have windows who can play with you and have that globe. Or better yet turn it off if everyone you play with sucks. It's not hard usually I wouldn't use that argument but it's good here. You have an issue with how some console or windows survivors play, so turn it off and be done with it. And if you keep getting those same kind of players maybe it isn't the platform that's the problem. It could be the players in general who play like that or maybe you.

Btw the globe icon doesn't mean PC it just means its someone on a different version of the game.
If your on Xbox the globe could be Playstation Switch Or PC so you might not have even run into a single PC player.
Also killers do have to sweat right now due to archives such as "Item of obsession" or whatever its called that asks survivors to escape with a purple tier item or better so killers are being swamped by SWF going all out.
So in order to win killers have been going all out in response atm.
So that's why I been getting sweaty matches all the time

I personally say maybe buff stalking speed or fix stalking hit boxes. Because I'll be staring at someone and they don't glow like bro I can see ya whole head m8. Maybe buff tier 1 movement speed as well. Just had a game on Macmillan where I couldn't apply that much pressure since I'm slow as heck. Also I did get 2 kills but that was because they were bad all they did was hold m1 and I lost because of that.

I don't think hes a big problem, but I'd prefer they do something more with him, theres so much they could do with him and all we have is tar blood and bleeding gens. I will be treating him as if he was an entirely new killer.
The Nightmare
I know we have the remake, but I like Englund more.
Height: Short
Move Speed: 115%
TR:32 at base (I'll explain)
Power 1: Black Sand
He has an m2 attack that will have him charge up and blow sand at people, think like doctors shock with the addon that makes it a line rather than a cone.It can go through walls. It will go on cooldown for 30 seconds upon use. Getting hit will put the survivor farther down the dream status.
Power 2: Locker Projection
Pretty much his current generator projection but for lockers. Lockers will begin bleeding and eventually
Power 3: The Dream
There will be 5 levels. Awake, Micro Napping, Light Sleep, R.E.M sleep, Nightmare
Awake is just standard survivor stuff. Freddy will be invisible.
When someone gets within 32 meters of the nightmare they will automatically begin micro napping. Which is the same as being awake but Freddy will pop in and out and can interact with the survivor.
Light Sleep is where stuff gets good, Survivors will only hear Freddys TR 16 meters away and will faintly hear the lullaby at 24 meters. A faint fog will cover everything and skill checks have a 25% chance to not make noise and move around the screen. Small visual effects will spawn around the map (Bug nests, Phantom bodies, Pools of blood on the floor). And lastly, dream pallets and dream vaults will now be seen by survivors, at 25% per pallet.
R.E.M Sleep is better light sleep, TR is now 8 and the lullaby can now be heard at 16 meters. The fog will be thicker. Visual effects will be more common. Skill checks are 50% likely to have no sound and move around the screen. Dream Pallets and Vaults will be more common.
Nightmare is the end game. Fog will be replaced by orange lighting that will follow everywhere. Freddy will be undetectable and the lullaby will be heard map wide. Fires can be seen everywhere and every broken pallet will be covered by a dream, vaults will also be hidden. Gen Speed will be slowed by 25%. Black sand will now deal a health state to any survivor in a nightmare. Freddy can also mori anyone who is on death hook and in the nightmare.
Survivors will progress one stage every minute. Survivors can wake up by interacting with other players, interacting with clocks, and finding pill bottles sprinkled throughout the map.
So what do yall think?
Is this a horror movie game or DBD lmao

2) a Nea who just stood there, while letting myself and a Bill die on hook (she wasn’t stuck or afk)

Having cucked blinks isn't high risk high reward, its stupid needing to know every follicle on the maps 4skin collision just to not have the game screw you over for having muscle memory is dumb
Yeah it is the cucked blinks are the risk because if you mess up or it gets cucked you could lose a chase. If you don't get cucked or hit a person with the blink you get a down or you get someone halfway down

Overall she is completely fine and no changes are needed. If you want a marker use the C O M M O N add on

I mean her power literally stuns her whether she hits someone or not. And that stun could lose a chase if the survivor is good enough or the nurse loses track
