While I doubt it'll happen it would be nice if it was a hint to a solo killer. But it's most likely related to the event.
Also there are alot of Leatherfaces in this thread lol. -
@SteveyHooves I just hope the rework changes his view. I would also like it if there was more to the Dream World. Like fake objects or something like that. Things to make it feel like it's a different world.
-
@SteveyHooves you'd think Freddy would be able to see things better then the survivors since he would be used to it.. but I don't know. I hope it's changed.
-
@Jack11803 That's true. Never gets my attention but I can see why it can do something to some killers. Also apologies that I didn't get the joke. I have a condition that makes me read things wrongly at times. Sorry about that.
-
@Jack11803 Whatever you say.. I'm just telling the truth.. BM and Strategy are 2 different things. Though some survivors can't see that.. clearly
-
@SteveyHooves Hag is definitely a hard killer to learn so I understand. I watched a few guides to trapping specific locations before I got used to them and even then it took awhile. I'd explain how I use them in more detail but it's very complicated to.
-
Even if it gives more points you can't expect all killers to do that. Sorry but the devs said Camping and Tunnelling are allowed. As much as I'm against it too that's just how the game is right now.
-
@TheDarkLycan True. I sometimes enjoy Bloodwarden though. Unreliable yes but sometimes turns games around completely. Remember Me sort of just does what Bloodwarden does but better honestly.
-
Maybe report this in the bug report section of the forums? Not sure if it does anymore then posting here but might help.
-
@TheDarkLycan True. Unless the obsession isn't dead by the end or you fail to hit them enough times for it to matter before gens are powered. It can't gain anymore tokens once the gates are powered
-
While Remember Me can get good results it too has downsides that can make it do worse then Ruin. It's hard to say sometimes which is actually stronger in my opinion
-
I see nothing in the patch notes for this. Is it bugged? Not getting protection points seems odd to me
-
@Aari_Piggy66 It is good for that kind of build. But even on it's own it seems to confuse survivors alot. Especially when used with the Ghost add on.
-
I think my favourite add on is now "Beast"-Soot for the Wraith. After using it for a few matches I found it surprisingly good I know I said before it was Coxcombed Clapper but I changed my mind.
-
@MegaWaffle I think Bloodwarden should only require the exits to be powered instead of open. And either block the switch or activate as soon as the gate is open.
-
@MegaWaffle I agree that it has it's downsides which can put people off. I was just making sure that @Link was aware of the perk since it wasn't on the list. Think it's the only perk they missed though unless they consider Bloodwarden as slowing the game down as well.
-
I think Pop goes the Weasel is a good perk to slow the game down. Couldn't see it on the list so thought I'd mention it.
-
@Boss well I was thinking of running it occasionally as a fun build not as my main build or anything like that. I don't like relying on Hex perks or gimmicky builds too much.
-
@Boss I see. Well I mentioned in an earlier comment that I was going to make a build using those 2 perks you just mentioned with Overcharge. I'll have to get it to level 3 on the character and see how the build does.
-
Thanks for the comments. I think I will get it as a teachable since I'm close to getting it anyway but won't rely on it for slowing the game down
-
@Cass Monitor and Abuse will only increase the terror radius while in a chase but yeah that could work. Personally Monitor and Abuse is one of my favourite perks. Makes survivors think you're further away then you really are sometimes
-
@Cass here's the build I want to run if you're interested. Wraith with Huntress Lullaby, Unnerving Presence, Overcharge and Haunted Grounds while using the Beast add on.
-
@Cass Lullaby would be much stronger if the game didn't tell survivors it was there but rather made them figure out what was wrong when the skill check warning starts at the wrong time.
-
@Cass No problem Also the regression penalty from Overcharge and Lullaby stack making a failed Overcharge skill check regress the generator by an additional 11%. If the totem lasts awhile this can add to quite alot of extra time I think.
-
@Cass I've tested it. Unnerving makes both those skill checks smaller.
-
@Cass I've made alot of people miss DS because of Unnerving Presence already so Overcharge might work with it too. I use it on a big terror radius build with Huntress Lullaby.
-
@pemberley Coincidentally I already run a build with Huntress Lullaby and Unnerving Presence sometimes. I had an option slot that's currently just got Sloppy Butcher in it because I have nothing better. Guess I'll replace it with Overcharge. Thanks
-
Play with your food might help you with the achievement since Tombstone kills don't count as offensive actions
-
Colorblind mode would be amazing. I know a few people who struggle without it so I hope they do add this soon.
-
From what I've heard it's basically Sloppy Butcher 3. So it adds about the same amount of time as the perk does. If anyone knows otherwise then correct me on that.
-
I hope the optimization patch actually comes when they said it will and that it doesn't get delayed like some other things. It's very difficult to play killer on console compared to PC just because of the Framerate. Well.. it can be difficult I mean. Sometimes it's ok
-
Freddy's view in game is horrible. If they change it I hope they make it easier for him to see but keep it the way it is for survivors. It just makes sense to me.
-
@DeadByFlashlight Sorry I was supposed to add in my response that it's not lag really it's more like a heavy framerate drop. Lag usually involves the game teleporting things around because of bad connection not making it freeze completely at times.
-
@DeadByFlashlight That is so true to how the game is right now. They even sound like angry monkeys when they lose on Stream sometimes lol.
-
@DeadByFlashlight Then she loses to a good killer who's at low rank and they whine and cry about it most probably.. Personally I love making survivors salty now lol. Especially when I destroy a SWF group. I even made it so the first thing survivors see when they view my profile is Translation of common survivor complaints "Camper/Tunneller" "The killer won and I don't like it!" Sure they complain to me about that but I couldn't care less lol. It only shows how childish they are sometimes
-
Well when Ruin has those 1 in 50 games where it doesn't blow up instantly it's good but most of the time it is poor. I only run it when I have nothing else to use now. When I eventually unlock every perk on the killers I play then I will most likely not run it anymore.
-
@DeadByFlashlight This is just the sad truth of this community. Survivors expect killers to play how the survivors want so they can get easy wins.. most likely because some streamer they watched doesn't like the stuff either.. or they really just refuse to accept that the killer is another person and not some A.I or something like that.
-
I always say people should play as they want to play so I agree with this. There is no rule saying killers can't camp.
-
Also Lullaby on it's own may not be bad but for alot of people Lullaby plus Unnerving can be quite difficult to face if they aren't used to it. Even at rank 1 I ran that build sometimes and got similar results until the totem broke
-
@DeadByFlashlight actually it was rank 3.. but I believe I was against a SWF group who bought lower ranks to my rank.. either that or they were boosted
-
I listen to chase music while running in circles for 10 minutes..
Ok for real now I don't listen to music while playing DBD. Would rather listen out for survivors as much as possible. -
I read before that others are having that issue. A bit of lag happens when hit by Decisive Strike sometimes as well. It's the icons appearing that cause it. Also happens when Bloodlust activates.
-
Sometimes survivors don't even use the term "camper" properly anyway. I was called a Facecamper.. when I literally ran the furthest away possible before they got rescued.. like what? Does camping mean I stayed on the map these days?
-
And there's also those mist offerings. Most killers wouldn't want to increase the amount of mist in a match. Just hinders them alot more then the survivors
-
Do you mean when an icon showing a new status effect appears on the side of the screen? Such as the lag from Sloppy Butcher only happening when first hit by it?
-
@SteveyHooves sorry if I sounded rude in my response I was just wondering if there was anyone else not ruined by SWF. And yeah it is Strange how crouching stops the traps going off but it's never worked against me really since I trap locations they run to in a chase instead of trapping generator and such. I think the fact that crouching stops them was to stop the Hag becoming even more powerful at defence but I could be wrong.
-
It's not been fixed yet no. Hopefully is fixed soon though. No fun having broken add ons that literally do nothing.
-
The Trap can still be seen. I see no reason why this would be bannable. Alot of times it can happen by complete accident anyway.
-
@shanks3042 I know what you mean. Personally I only camp if the gens go too fast or I'm against an overly altruistic SWF group. Still get called a Camper but I try to make the match fun for both sides. Sometimes get no choice though
-
@DarkWo1f997 Oh right I forgot about that feature. Never used it myself so forgot it existed lol. I only remember facing 1 SWF group who lost because they all threw themselves at a hook while I was Leatherface.. yeah not the brightest idea that..
