Horrible lag with perks

On the ps4, sloppy butcher and balanced landing causes horrible lag to me as a survivor when I get afflicted with the status from sloppy or get the burst from balanced landing. As a killer I do not see the lag but as a survivor I do and it causes me to get unfair hits as a killer or get hit unfairly as a survivor. Balanced landing will have me lag for .5 seconds and then my boost will at times be erratic. Anyone else experienced this?

    It's 75% landing reduction. Not 100%. Supposed to be stuck for .5 seconds before sb kicks in.

    I'm aware, I said there was lag, not landing recoil.

    It's more like when dead hard activates at times, there's like a slowdown when the game recognizes I'm using it

    Do you mean when an icon showing a new status effect appears on the side of the screen? Such as the lag from Sloppy Butcher only happening when first hit by it?

    Yeh, when that pops up there's a lag

    I read before that others are having that issue. A bit of lag happens when hit by Decisive Strike sometimes as well. It's the icons appearing that cause it. Also happens when Bloodlust activates.

    Do you have a video of this? Not sure what you understand about "lagg" (that would be a ping issue?)

    @DeadByFlashlight Sorry I was supposed to add in my response that it's not lag really it's more like a heavy framerate drop. Lag usually involves the game teleporting things around because of bad connection not making it freeze completely at times.

    Thanks, the frame rate drop makes sense, it's horrible, it makes me run into stuff or some people I hit to run into stuff and get bs downs. I hope the optimization patch helps. Thanks guys!

    I was asking myself like why are they running into walls? But no, they can't help it at times with sloppy butcher. The frames drop at times at pallets, I would get stunned but get pushed onto the same side of the survivor and I know that's bs, I would let the survivor go.

    I hope the optimization patch actually comes when they said it will and that it doesn't get delayed like some other things. It's very difficult to play killer on console compared to PC just because of the Framerate. Well.. it can be difficult I mean. Sometimes it's ok
