I find too many survivors love to gloat about hatch escapes despite being literal rng and involving no skill to obtain.

Makes me want to slug for the 4K more, because I'd rather they be salty over it.

I find it funny because it's so obvious they left yet people who to do that try to act as if they won somehow. As an example, a survivor who escaped through the hatch was trying ggez on me. I just wrote 'You escaped through the hatch on death hook with three gens left. On the Game. There's no way to spin that into a victory.' Silence after.

At least they're not the entire player base. On the Game as well, one survivor in a different game who got hatch sat first watching Jigsaw TV just chilling with Bubba. It was pretty cool.

    Incorrect.

If you don't tunnel and camp then you reach a level where you win- lose-lose-win-lose-lose-win-lose-lose. You will need to lose more than you win. Especially with the imbalance of killers to survivors and the game prioritizing time over fairness.

The base game is just way to simple and quick for survivors, while being lengthy and difficult for killers.

That's just not true. I don't tunnel or camp and I definitely don't lose more often than I win.

  • @lauraa said:

This is just simply not true.

You can tank your MMR by playing weird, or letting all the survivors go butyou're still gonna get shrekt or go against babies. It reallydoesnt matter that much.

Fact ofthe matter is, unless you are content getting a 0k quite consistently, you need to make power plays. Down-->hook just doesnt cut it

How he explained it is how MMR is supposed to work. If you tunnel and camp, due to how effective it is, you will end up at a MMR where you have to tunnel and camp. If you don't tunnel and camp, you stay at a level where you don't need to tunnel and camp. It's hard to do because it requires the killer to prefer to lose a game rather than tunnel and camp to keep their MMR from inflating.

What would be better would be fixing the underlying game mechanics so 12 hook play was the most effective playstyle but that's on BHVR; players can only respond to game mechanics. They can't be changed from the players' end.

  • I'm more in a favor of a baseline debuff to gen speeds for each hook on a survivor provided the survivor is still alive and a buff to gen repair speeds for each dead survivor. That rewards multiple hooks and disincentivizes removing one survivor from the game quickly. It also gives a final survivor more of a chance to finish one gen and get out.

  • Convince BHVR to get rid of, or at least reduce, the fatigue when switching between the two.

"Pinhead is for people who suck at chases"

    I'm offended.

This was probably said by somebody who probably only runs DH Iron will and wants variety then DCs when they get it.

Humorously enough, they did DC but just stayed in end game to be salty after I pulled them out of a locker in the basement and they were on death hook.

Ironically enough as well, if they had waited for 10 seconds before DCing they would have seen I was carrying them out of the basement. I was just trying to improve my aim with the blades so I was only two hooking that game anyway and had no intention of killing anyone since I just wanted to practice.

So, If they had stayed in the game instead of waiting in end game chat to be salty, they would have gotten a guaranteed escape.

    Double irony?

for the reason i argued. If two survivors are identical in appearance, it makes keeping mental track considerably more difficult. Believe it or not, some killers actually try to spread their hooks out instead of tunnelling, and tunnel by accident because they either forget hook states or simply can't tell survivors apart.

That's true. Also, if the survivors let another survivor hit second stage and I didn't see the Entity Summoned notification then I have accidentally killed a survivor before I wanted to take someone out of the game since I had only hooked them once. Showing hook states would solve that.

  • @EntityNea said:

Question to the killers here who say they want to see hook stages to prevent accidentally killing survivors during farming matches:

Do survivors, once they know it's a farming match, ever help you out by gesturing?

Me and my friends usually take turns walking up to the hook and point at it to show the killer who to hook. Or point at someone if they can be hooked again but they're not trying to communicate with the killer.

... Just ignore the matches where we point at that one friend when they're on death hook just to troll them :')

Yes, I've had survivors do that and I've even had experienced survivors who got stuck with brand new players offer themselves up on death hook after seeing I'm offering to let everyone go. It's not a regular occurrence but I have seen it enough to know it does and can happen.

Because mad survivors trash talk killers for playing like that every time i was told to get cancer or get hit by a truck because i tunnel somebody in video game while not breaking any game rule and i dont even belive that was 20 games like he says and if some killers complain about survivor perks that is not me for sure i'm ok with that and as killer main that play both sides only thing i dislike is face camping

20 games is definitely possible to run into nothing but killers tunneling and camping. Out of 12 matches yesterday, I ran into a Pinhead who farmed, a Wraith who played for hooks and everyone else camped and tried to tunnel so 10/12 matches? It didn't feel different than most days so a little bit of bad luck in the queues and I could easily see 20.

Both sides, killer and survivor, have some very valid complaints. One of them for survivors is the prevalence of camping and tunneling and how it's not fun to be the target.

So as not to be misunderstood, I'm not blaming the players who tunnel and camp either. Players have to follow game mechanics and, until the devs rebalance so it's a bad choice more often than not, I'll see tunnelers and campers. That said, you can't blame people who play survivor for providing feedback either and saying something that is objectively not fun isn't fun.

Wait I thought letting the killer hit you out was a nice thing cuz it gives them points.

It is a nice thing. It's just quite often not worth it but the survivors doing it quite often don't know it's not worth it. If they Dead Hard, though, they're just being jerks. If they walk through just as you're about to hit them it could still be them being nice but you don't see exactly where you escape as a survivor so they could have just stepped a bit too far by accident. If they DH, though, that's just being childish.

  • @eaebree said:

And do you know that is not against game rules?

I don't think his point was it's against game rules. His point was that it's not fun as infinite loops, RPD, 4 BNP, etc isn't fun for killer. It's also part of the reason why DvD has been bleeding players with MMR. MMR brings a lot of problems to the surface that were masked before with the Emblem system having so many lopsided matches.

As well, the Emblem system encouraged more fun gameplay because if you just facecamped at 5 gens you'd never hit Rank 1. So, for all the streamers to impress their viewers with their Rank 1 they needed to have multiple chases, hooks, etc. Since MMR only focuses on kills and escapes that's all you get now and the most efficient way to win is tunneling, camping and stacking slowdowns. The way to counter that is not fun on the survivor side either.

MMR is only a good fit for an asymmetrical game if the game mechanics reward fun gamestyles. Currently, DbD's game mechanics don't and, while the devs are improving MMR, the only way to really fix MMR, in my opinion, is to fix game mechanics so fun gameplay is incentivized. Until then, MMR will have structural flaws that hinder the point of a video game which is enjoyment.

  • @Adjatha said:

The way the game is built: there is zero reason why you wouldn't want to remove a player as quickly as possible.

If survivors who have been hooked repaired gens SLOWER than survivors who haven't been hooked, killers would have more reason to try to spread the damage. Somebody who hasn't been touched all game repairs just as fast as somebody on death hook, though. So why WOULDN'T you remove them?

I think something like this would be the answer. I suggested something similar a few months ago where if killers also killed someone before x minutes the survivors got a gen speed buff and vice versa with gens and survivors. I'd prefer, after reading your post, to just have the gen debuff come from being hooked

Unfortunately though, I don't think anything similar will ever be seen but I do think it would be the easiest solution. Besides all the other input mentioned above, DS is also behind a pay wall and any new perks will presumably also be. BHVR is a business and needs to make money and, from a purely business only standpoint, the only way base game changes that don't involve revenue would be greenlit would be if it was shown BHVR would make more revenue by doing so or the changes wouldn't take up too many resources

DS could be made a general perk but then BHVR would get blowback from anyone who purchased Laurie just for DS. Between the need to make revenue to survive and how difficult attempting the balancing would be, I don't see anything happening that would resolve this issue anytime soon.

  • @remoirel said:

all killers are viable because otherwise their kill rate would be in the 5%'s not 50's. 'S Tier' Killers can still lose against the fabled SWF Death Squads just as much as a killer like Clown can win against them. Theres too many factors involved in what causes a win or loss, including what an individual player even classes as a win/loss.

Once you start buffing Killers that are the lowest on peoples tier lists all you're gonna get is a never ending power creep where someone new takes lowest spot until they're buffed, knocking everyone back down 1 slot and the cycle repeats.

That's just not true. Take Pig and Nurse as an example. Pig's RBTs kill low MMR survivors quite handily and she has a high kill rate at low MMR while being terrible at high MMR. Nurse has a low kill rate at low MMR since she's hard to learn while being the strongest killer at high MMR. I don't think anybody could reasonably complain if Pig were a bit less lethal at low MMR while given buffs to help at higher MMR.

People would like to play certain Killers since they enjoy the playstyle. What they don't like is losing at the character loading screen since they picked a weaker killer. The weaker killers need to be buffed so there isn't as great a difference between them and the S Tier Killers. That would organically give more variety in killers as it's not entertaining to play better than your opponents but still get stomped simply because game mechanics favour your opponents.

hitting the ctrl key is "toxic" in this game,...

corpse camping and griefing were much worse in the old days than "clicking a flashlight" I dont even consider the stuff in this game real toxic,... "oh no he teabagged me at the gate" Ganking noobs all day at Crossroads was real toxic. LOL

Perhaps the reason why you're remembering so much toxicity is because you played toxic? I didn't and there was far less toxicity in all three games mentioned so far (UO, SB, and WoW) than there is in DbD today.

Part of that is because the devs of those games discouraged toxicity. Didn't like the possibility of being ganked? Play Trammel (UO) or on a PvE server (WoW). The possibility was always there for SB but you needed a city to advance and get decent gear. Getting banned or baned (which meant your city was lost) was the repercussion and, besides, many of the devoted gankers (defined as almost always targeting lower levels) weren't even that good at PvP to begin with so they were easier to deal with.

The devs here have a very relaxed attitude to smacktalk and teabagging which I find problematic. Do you give people irl the middle finger? No? Then don't do it to another person. In reference to the other games, I liked the gankers, theives, etc being around because they added a sense of danger to the game and I consented to that when I chose a PvP server. I haven't consented to being teabagged or harassed in chat in DbD and, unless it's a death threat, the devs aren't interested in it.

This game is worse and it's from the dev's choice to not speak against it. In SB, you could retaliate. In WoW or UO, you could pick a different server or contact a mod. In DbD, you can complain about it on the forum or ignore it and the devs can't be bothered to say they would like better sportsmanship. That difference is part of why this community has more toxicity than the others mentioned above.

  • There's a difference between killer sided and not as survivor sided. Most of the maps favour the survivor role so a map not favoring survivors as much as the Game, Eyrie, Fractured Cowshed, etc could seem killer sided to people who mainly play just survivor when it's just a more balanced map overall.

So, no to Old Haddonfield. Let it live on only in the memories of the flashlight bully squads. If BHVR is going to bring back an old map I want a reskinned Hawkins; not the terrible layout of Old Haddonfield.

  • @DrDeepwound said:

DBD is not permadeath. You are using WoW as the example and ignoring Ultima Online. In UO we could loot corpses and you loss your favorite sword permanently., In Fact, WoW was made the way it is to stop people from playing the way we did in UO.

I used WoW as example of teabagging because thats where teabagging originated.

In UO we camped your corpse and you could not log babck in, and your corpse would decay and you lost everything else on your corpse that we did not loot. WoW was designed to correct the PK playstyle of UO

It was all permanent. DBD you dont lose anything really.

I played Ultima Online on Siege Perilous mainly and Felucca on the other servers. I also played Shadowbane where the motto was Play to Crush. The corpse camping, etc, was all there but there was still less toxicity in those games than there is in DbD. DbD is worse for toxicity by far.

  • Survivor: When I get to second stage hook without a single other survivor trying to save me (facecamping Bubbas aside). This is an exponential increase if I'm not even in the killer's TR because the killer is patrolling gens on the other fricking side of the map while I second stage.

When I'm being facecamped and I see not a single survivor is doing gens. I appreciate the attempts to save but, if I'm being facecamped, I want the gens to pop like popcorn. If the killer doesn't move, I've guaranteed a 3E at least.

When the killer has 6 or 7 hooks before two gens have popped. However, unlike the other two scenarios, these games are worth it since I'll have good Altruism and Boldness BP for a small time investment.

    When I see a Meg that's not me (that one's a joke).

Killer: When I'm playing a low mobility killer, I only have two or three hooks, and the survivors have broken any potential three gens I could have had. Gen spacing is important. I have gone from 2 hooks at 1 or 2 gens left to 10 to 12 hooks and a 4K if I kept a three gen. I don't remember ever doing so without a good 3 or 4 gen.

The difference with killer and survivor, though, is that, unless you're horribly out matched as a killer, you can still lose but have really good BP if you go for hooks.

As survivor, if your team doesn't try to save you, you generally get terrible BP and very likely a depip.

when I try to avoid tunneling camping or using gen slowdown perks and focus on getting everyone dead on hook so we can all get to end game and get bps survivors act all smug at the gate and it gets to me cause I know I could’ve easily 4k them if I wanted too. If you’re a survivor who doesn’t act toxic and hates tunneling and camping and gen slowdowns blame those people cause it gets old

I don't camp or tunnel as a general rule but if I'm BM'ed at a pallet I like to slug camp. No BT, no DS and a lot easier to ensure a death. Just be watchful for Adrenaline as unless the survivors are really altruistic the gens will get done for sure. I've only run into Soul Guard once so I don't really consider it an issue.

One game I had a chance to slugcamp and then, since the gates were opened and the teabagger tried to crawl there, I facecamped with a T3 Myers. It was satisfying.

After I take someone out like that though I let the remaining survivors farm BP with me, slam every pallet on the map on me if they want, etc so they can all leave with decent BP.

As a general rule, I'd prefer to lose a game rather than camp or tunnel but, if someone teabags at a pallet, the gloves are off with that survivor. If I have to 4 person slug to ensure a teabagger bleeds out I will. After though I'll pick up and drop one of the remaining survivors repeatedly so they get free, can pick up the other survivors, escape and get some BP.

That's how I deal with it but I also keep in mind that each survivor is an individual and just because one person teabags it doesn't mean the entire team is like that. For that matter, they could all be random individuals. If somebody BMs you they deserve what they get in response but it's better if frustration doesn't get taken out on unconnected individuals if possible.

  • An on-demand anytime sprint burst would be worse. The main drawback of sprint burst right now is you have to 99 it (which an on demand usage would eliminate) as it activates anytime you run. Dead Hard could use some tokens to limit its usage but sprint burst requires a lot more planning than Dead Hard right now.

LOL, this is the part I don't understand. I think every killer knows that tunneling-off-hook-till-dead and face-camping is not fun to do. Yet killers players refuse to let tunneling-off-hook-till-dead and face-camping to be nerfed.

It would make the game more fun for killer players, because, as long as tunneling-off-hook-till-dead and face-camping exist, the game will always be balanced around those 2 tactics. But whatever, I'm losing faith in the developers to fix major problems, they're too busy making paid content instead of fixing problems that driving players away.

I play about 60 to 70% killer and I've made threads stating the exact same thing. I would welcome tunnel off hook and facecamping nerfs with relish as I agree the game would end up in a healthier place.

I wouldn't say it's a majority opinion from people who play more killer than survivor but we do exist. I do agree some people are very vocal about their opposition to it though but I think that comes from a lack of faith on their side that BHVR would then change gen speeds to balance out the killer nerfs.

I wouldn't say the next couple months wouldn't be thoroughly unpleasant though but BHVR likes their 2K 2E so I think they would get around to fixing it and, in the long run, it would be better.

  • It mainly hurts new killers by moving them into an MMR bracket where they can only get kills with NOED and sometimes get none. It's a big factor in low MMR and becomes less and less important as MMR goes up. Higher MMR survivors know the totem spawns and will leave an obvious spawn untouched while cleansing (or booning) the out of the way spawns.

That way NOED kicks in, the survivors cleanse the obvious totem, and NOED gets one or two hooks. NOED is an uncoordinated solo team stomper and uncoordinated teams should lose more often than they win. Even at mid MMR you'll see solo queues coordinate in such a fashion that, if you hadn't played solo, you'd think they were a SWF. People complain about NOED since it is overtuned against newbies but it's not against everyone else.

Facecamping bubba takes away someones ability to play the game at all so it's worser than teabagging and clicking that is what annoying? But you can still play and facecamping bubba does not do it for to get a kill. He does it for salt or he just trolls. Or other option he is just lazy and want to chill

If facecamping Bubba is doing it to get kills than, yes, teabagging is worse. If it's just to collect salt then it's on the same level but camping to acheive something in the game is much better than just trying to bother someone. If you teabag you have no right to complain about facecampers because you're just as bad and possibly worse.

  • @versacefeng said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2929878#Comment_2929878

The anger caused by a bubba facecamping is justified to an extent. The inability to play a game for enjoyment would anger most people. You comparing the anger caused by tbagging and the anger caused by being unable to play the game is incomparable.

Actually, it's a pretty good comparison. Facecamping Bubba is actually furthering the game's objectives while teabagging is just trying to upset someone.

In terms of motives, some of the time facecamping Bubba is to collect salt and most of the time a teabagger is doing it is to collect salt.

Honestly, I think the teabagger is the worse of the two. When I get facecamped, and I do hold out so my team has a better chance to escape, the killer may be doing it because they feel it's their only way to get a kill, they might be new to DbD, etc.

A teabagger mostly does it just to ruin somebody's fun with the only reward for them being ruining someone's fun. There is no gain other than that. That's what makes it a worse behaviour than someone trying to get a kill but struggling with game mechanics which is something nobody but BHVR has any control over.

I do think he needs to be nerfed a little. There's no counter to his frenzy and the fact it instadowns now is a little silly. He's like nurse again because he ignores every survivor defence (windows and pallets) and gets free hits, and then instadowns with his super speed.

They either need to remove his extra speed, his instadown or his pallet vaulting. I'm sorry but being able to vault a pallet and instadown a survivor is not balanced.

He instadowns on the fifth chained hit. That's extremely difficult to do and has tons of counters (of whicj the simplest is don't all stay in one spot). Legion doesn't need any nerfs: if anything, Legion is either below average or average at best now.

  • I played some Ghostface; both versus and as. GF is better but he's still really weak since he can be revealed from what feels like the next solar system. The add-ons are definitely better but his main power right now still seems to be being Undetectable. Exposing someone isn't that easy if the survivors have any situational awareness.

I am terrible as Ghostface so take what I say with a grain of salt but I still don't see Ghostface doing anything that Myers can't do better.

In contrast, Legion, while still not high tier, is dramatically improved and has really good chase music that you can vary up. I'm not surprised the main focus for most people trying out the changes is Legion.

This is part of the reason why I think half of the complaints about DbD would disappear if the toxicity would get dialed down a few notches. Playing for hooks is a more enjoyable way to play the game but getting mocked for not tunneling just encourages people to tunnel more.

I survivor main. I can count on my fingers how many times I’ve played killer but last night I wanted to try. So going into my first killer match for the first time in 2 years, I’m matched up wit god tier survivors with dead hards, DS, boons etc. They gen rushed and teabagged me all throughout the chases. But after the final gen was completed, I had the NOED surprise and was able to get 3/4. Of course the all proceeded to message me and tell me how trash I am etc etc and I camped bodies but realistically, what am I supposed to do with a sweaty team like that when all the gens are done? I see why killers are leaving this game or resorting to camping especially with toxic survivors

First, kudos on you for trying out both sides. It's very enlightening and really allows you to see the other side.

For beginning killers, Nurse is the strongest in potential but, as a new killer, you'll be BMed even worse as Nurse until you get the blinks down. Learning Nurse is hard and there are, unfortunately, many survivors who love tormenting newer killers.

I'd recommend trying out Huntress. She's strong and much easier to learn then Nurse. I think you'd probably do well with Trapper as you can think of which loops and paths you'd take as a survivor and then trap them.

However, there is a point at which game mechanics will stop a killer from doing well against equally skilled players and Trapper has a cap that is a lot lower than Huntress.

Billy is good for learning to M1 but, in my opinion, getting good at his chainsaw requires a ton of time that, if you put that time into Nurse or Huntress, you'd be far more effective. If you like his play, of course, go for it but there are a lot of fun killers that just can't compete against equally skilled survivors at a high level and Billy is, in my opinion, one of them.

Good luck and I hope you find one you like.

this splits the community even more. The community is already split to killer/survivor so adding a casual mode will split that into 4 groups.

Fair enough, but it means balance discussions will always be imbalanced for this exact reason. Everyone wants changes that suit their playstyle.

Also anyone can easily jump into a casual mode even the best player and alot of people would.

Casual mode would have to go beyond name only and actually enforce a different ruleset that removes the ability to play efficiently and kind of disables the standard version of winning so it wouldn't appeal to those who actually want to play to win. It would be nice to have, but it would be a lot of work for BHVR, and will never happen, so it's not really worth going into. But a true and desirable casual mode would not simply disable BP gains, which (going by the most recent survey) is what BHVR seems to be considering. If that's what they do, even I wouldn't play it, as it would be the exact same if not worse than normal mode just without the BP reward.

it's just really bugging me as I'm seeing it pop up alot about real game issues but they dismiss it and act like they arent deranking when they admit it in other comments...

Some people may be outright lying, but for others it may be a semantics issue. Some people actually don't enjoy taking other people permanently out of the game, which is what killing does. Though avoiding killing means their MMR stays low, they don't play for the specific purpose of deranking: it's just a side effect. (Not trying to make an argument of this or anything. It's just an observation that some people are not intentionally attempting to deceive. Anyone deceiving on purpose is not cool.)

Also, some people go back and forth, sometimes playing casually at a low MMR and sometimes playing hardcore at a high MMR, so when they're discussing balance issues they're probably talking about when they're playing to win at high MMR, but if you don't know that for sure then it muddies the issue. No one knows what their MMR actually is, nor the MMR of their opponents, which only makes balance discussions more difficult.

Yeah, I avoid guessing at my MMR for that reason. I'm fairly certain my Artist is higher MMR than my M1 killers because I see (a) a lot more meta perks and possible SWFs and (b) except for one day on grades based mmr which had 2 4 person SWF teams taking me to the Game my Artist games felt normal nearly the entire time while, on some MMR test days, trying out M1 killers I normally don't play was excruciatingly painful.

However, where is that MMR on Artist? Medium? High? Low? It's probably not low because the survivors I face have meta teachables unlocked but it could easily be mid.

People can't say they're high MMR because, unless you're Otz or tournament players like Oracle, who knows?

  • I would definitely agree for Sadoko for her demanifested state. Spirit, however, is still pretty strong. That might be too much.

You cant add a casual mode, this splits the community even more. The community is already split to killer/survivor so adding a casual mode will split that into 4 groups. Also anyone can easily jump into a casual mode even the best player and alot of people would.

Iv known this for awhile it's just really bugging me as I'm seeing it pop up alot about real game issues but they dismiss it and act like they arent deranking when they admit it in other comments...

Playing for hooks isnt deranking. I'll put it in the example you used with true. Let's say true goes for hooks, that's great! Props for him that's the best and hardest playstyle but just because he is doing that doesnt mean he is deranking... however if true suddenly stopped killing people then he is. People are actively making sure they dont get a kill.

It's not about going for hooks, it's about avoid kills at all costs. You dont see true go "oh yes been hooked twice, I wont hook him again or I'll get a kill"

Sounds good, thanks for explaining further.

  • I don't think it's really black or white. Someone who is biased is going to be biased regardless of whether they're smurfing or not and someone who is going to try to see all sides will do the same regardless.

As an example, Tru doesn't camp or tunnel as it can really suck for those on the receiving end. I do the same. However, camping and tunneling are definitely very effective strategies. Not doing so will cause you to lose some games you could have won otherwise. Is that smurfing?

Also, after hitting Iri One quite a few people change out load outs and instead of IW, DH, DS and BT they might run WGLF, MoM, Empathy and Self Care. They're still trying to escape but sub optimal perk choices will lower your success rate. But they do it to have fun. Is that smurfing?

What about giving mercy to a survivor who requests it? After multiple games of being camped and tunneled you might be stressed out and just want an easy escape or Rift challenge. Is the killer smurfing by recognizing that?

On the bottom line, we play this game to have fun and, unless it involves intentionally ruining the fun for other people maliciously, we can't be fun police and say one type of fun is wrong and another is good. As for the data, that's not our job. As a professional gaming company it's BHVR's job to analyze the data, interpret it, and apply it; not the consumers. We're not being paid for that and the only thing we should really do, in my opinion, is keep in mind it's complicated to balance a game, moreso if it's assymetrical, and that BHVR is trying while we offer our feedback.

  • It's too soon to really say. They seem to be making it similar to the March 31st test, which was one of the four days I liked. That's a good sign but I haven't played enough to really make a firm decision. Tentatively optimistic?

  • Lethal Pursuer is strong enough to be worth a perk slot. It can stop the whole 3 gens in the first 90 seconds thing on the right kill

Once I'm iridescent 1 I just use meme builds because there's no point in trying no point of pips really

Same. My BP rewards are secured so I don't care if I win or not. If I have streamers I'll 8 hook survivors and then let them all go as long as they don't BM so we can all take advantage.

It's pretty funny to run Iron Maiden on Bubba. People that attempt to locker juke your chainsaws will be in for a rude surprise once they leap out.

Moving aside from my satirical comments for one post, and only one!, it's a funny meme perk as well if you see a Leon or a Jane in the lobby since they probably have Flashbang or Head On respectively. After doing the Head On challenges for Tome II (I think) a while back though I just can't bring myself to do that to a Jane anymore. Unlike the other exhaustion perks, which are only ineffective when you don't use them properly Head On will literally get you hooked.

Other than meming against low tier survivor perks it's really hard to find a situation where Iron Maiden isn't just a fun perk that's horribly outclassed by so many other perks.

If BHVR reads this, though, what I stated above in this post was just pure satire. The reality is Iron Maiden OP!!! Plz nerf!
