@Nickenzie I understand where you’re coming from but I don’t think there is a way to make doing a gen exciting. Like once people get use to the different skill checks it’ll be the same thing as it is now just with more button presses. This is the way I look at it, currently we have to spend 80 seconds holding one button and pressing another whenever prompted to complete a gen. If your suggestion was implemented we’d have to spend 100 seconds on a gen holding one button and press even more buttons than we did previously just to completely the same exact task. Your idea isn’t by any means bad, it would lengthen the game but I’m not sure about the fun factor of it.

F13 has Pocket Knives. If you're a counselor and Jason grabs you, you're dead. A pocket knife is a counselor's "get out of jail free" card so to speak. You stab Jason in the neck and he drops you. Seondly - These have to actually be found though, you cannot start the game with one in your inventory.
In DbD a killer has to strike a survivor 2 times, carry them, hook them, almost certainly they'll do this 3 times to kill 1 survivor.
I just don't see the necessity for DS. This game isn't Friday the 13th. -

- Bill Overbeck: Valve doesn't want him on console so you don't get him. What you did get are his Perks and they're even General Perks there, not unique ones.
- Legacy Prestige was a reward for players going through the immense grind the early Bloodwebs were. Back then, from Level 30 or so onwards, every single possible Node location in the Bloodweb was filled, making them already considerably bigger than today's level 50 Bloodwebs. And there were no Bloodpoints or significant BP-boosting Perks.
Console players never had to endure that grind, so did newer PC players so you don't have them.
- Left Behind: as said before you got all but Bill and the cosmetics, due to Valve.
- Charity Case: the Charity Case donates all its profits to Charity. If I remember correctly, such a system is not possible on console, so you don't get that either.
You also don't pay more and get less, you get the Doctor and the Hag. -
I see how it can be annoying but I don’t think it’s a big issue especially since that’d make bodyblocking even more aggravating for killers. They removed the pick up vacuum though which was more important imo

Well I think any average person will see that the chapters costing less than single outfit is at least worth raising an eyebrow over. I believe most people don’t like the prices but I don’t think most are upset by them. If they raised the chapter prices people would probably be actually upset by that. I don’t think people complaining in this case is bad per se I mean usually it’s complaining is a good thing.GhostEuant said:

I also agree that the prices are fine because:
-They are optional, more optional than chapter content imo. When people point out they’re more expensive than chapters are they wishing the prices of chapters should increase? I think we should be glad at how cheap chapters have been/are, not complain that more optional things are more expensive than something that directly impacts gameplay.
-80% can be bought with game time
-Only one outfit can be worn at a time
-You can buy individual pieces of most outfits if you don’t want the whole thing.
Now of that 80% that can be bought with game time how many of those are recolors. Then you have to take the recolors out of the 80% to find out the real amount of things that can be bought with game time.
It’s true you can only wear on outfit at a time but the same can be said for real life and yet we have many outfits for ourselves. People like fashion and looking different than others even in games.
As for this last part this is true and unless you can’t find any other combination you want on your character I think this is the way to go.
For me personally the prices don’t matter because I don’t like any of the outfits my favorite character has right now.

I’m of the option there should just be a second objective because I just don’t see a way doing a gen can be made fun. I don’t think anyone wants to do the 80+ gen time we have now. I just personally don’t think adding more time and more buttons to press while doing the same task will make it better

Basically, they’ll hold off pushing the 2.0.0 patch live till after they certify the patch that fixes the issues. Basically we have to wait for two patches to be certified before we get any patch. Then they’ll release the both at the same time. -

The devs are aware of this. I believe someone said the code accidentally got removed from the game or whatever but you still have it they just need to patch it back in
