Well at rank 1 body blocks are pretty common ime at least even when playing solo. Besides that you gotta remember swf is a thing which makes slugging,knockout and whatever else pretty much useless. In my games from rank 20-8 i rarely get body blocks when playing solo. 5sec may be too long but ds is countered by several things already. I didnt mention slugging and knockout, or clown gassing. Its really not that OP. The way hooks have spawned lately i rarely get to use DS without a dribbled.

Yes and I 4 is pretty long. Obsession or not I personally don’t think you should be able to get off once the killer has you unless you wiggle free. If you get caught you should be punished for it so it should be hard to get free. Also other survivors usually body block so 5 seconds is a long time in general but when you combine it with that unless the killer is right next to a hook your getting freek. I came to play but with %80 of games starting with, at least, two swf, before i get into the game i want to make sure there is no 3 man SWF cruw trying to bully.
More and more i am seeing that crews are spending less time doing gens and more time trying to bully the killer which does not work most of the time. At least not with me. Very rarely do my survs all get out.
Why?
Prolly cos i spend far too much time trying to filter out the swf and multiple flashlights. If i see a flashlights its not to rescue themselves as has been proven time and time again, but to annoy the killer and stop pickups. They are not interested in doing gens. These are the people i am filtering.
My hardware, my bandwidth, my time. I decide who plays with me regardless of how many lobbies i leave - and i dodge a hell of a lot of lobbies to get games that I, that I, deem fair. Not what the devs deem fair. I make the rules. Not them.

not_Queen already said that the certification process could be longer because of the new store and the payment data Sony/MS "owns" so they have an interessest to Test/Certificate that. That needs time, Companies are working slow.For me BHVR had 3 options:
1) send Update to Sony/MS before PTB on PC Starts, to release simultaniously. You guys problably would go cracy because the bugs found in PTB would be in Console-Version for 1-2 Weeks
2) hold PC update back untill Consoles are ready. Oh god you guys totally go crazy
3) Do it like they did.So for me, they just did one thing some of you hate them for, but they never could do it good for all.
Then please tell me why they couldn't send in the PTB build when the PTB launched and then hotfix the bugs right after the dlc launched? Freddy came with the unnerfed version which was almost immediately patched out with the nerfed version on console. If they could have done it back then, they could have done it now.

Thats the main flaw with everyone defending BHVR here. Every excuse being created can be instantly discredited and proved wrong by the crap tons of other games on the market. BHVR isn’t reinventing the certification wheel here.
At at the end of the day it’s not a big deal, in fact I’ve probably played more now than I normally would have just trying to make sure I stay as close to 1 million bloodpoints as possible and trying to squeeze as many 550 shard exchanges into the shrine as I can. But they’ve lost any money I would have spent on cosmetics supporting them. Anyone else fed up with their nonsense, just vote with your wallet. -

I think they need better planning as well. I haven’t played overwatch since February so I have no idea what going on with that game right now but I can confidently say that the next update will be on a Tuesday or Thursday because they’re so organized and consistent with the update days and timesfcc2014 said:I'm over it at this point. I’m not saying any of that isn’t true but that still doesn’t make console crap because when it comes to gaming, hardware isn’t all that matters and usefulness doesn’t matter at all. They are many reasons you get a console one of them is for the games that are going to be on that console not performance. You can have $10k pc and you still couldn’t play God of War, Uncharted or any other popular console exclusive title and the graphics are pretty decent. If you just have a pc you’re missing out and if you just have a console you’re missing out. This why I don’t get pc elitists and console fanboys because they’re missing out. Many youtubers and streamers have both pc and a console. You seem like a civil guy I think you just came off wrong and that’s why you seemed like a pc elitist. Because consoles are not the best gaming solution from a hardware point, if possible people should buy a PC. I'll stand by that point all day long. And this point relates entirely to the equipment involved. And not only will a PC out perform a console, it can also be used for other things.
And secondly yes PC users supported this game from release, and its their spending money on DLC and the base game, that allowed BHVR to expand this game and eventually bring console versions in. Once the console versions were released then yes, Console people actually helped fund further expansions of the game. What more is there to the story, that I missed?
On your previous comment you left console’s part they played. All I ask for is acknowledgement for what console did for this game and how it’s where it is because of our support.

Because if I could only have one set of equipment to play games on I would pick the PC 100/100 times. Why? Because a computer has many more uses then a console.
Lets have a look at Twitch streamers and youTube personalities for example. When ever possible they choose to buy a game for the PC even though it's available for all platforms. Why are they doing this? Because the PC gear can handle the game much better, and they often have choice of input they prefer, keyboard and mouse or controller.
And deep down inside, though not everyone would admit it, they'd prefer a top notch gaming PC, its just not affordable. I know my PC is not as powerful as I'd like, but you buy what you can afford. The difference between me and a console user is I can admit that someone else has better gear then mine.

Not sure where you get your info from, but all you need to do is look at any other game and you'd see certification on Xbox is indeed a long time. Literally, any multi-platform game gets a PC update at minimum 2 weeks before Xbox. I know because I'm always mildly upset that I have to wait for the newest patch.

Overwatch does simultaneous releases now the only thing pc gets is the ptr. Staring into a gen would be complete ASS. Stop making all these ideas to change the core gameplay, that almost always results in the games death. Just balance it. Add comms to solo, then hella nerf survivors. Done. Balanced. Core gameplay still as intact as it used to be. (Mute buttons obviously included, you shouldn’t have to ask about that)
Well of course you can still look around in 1st person, so when doing a gen you could look around ofc
I agree that the only true way to balance is by adding ingame voice comms, but devs said taht it is not going to happen -
Play survive with friends it’s a totally different experience and I think it’ll make it better for you

I think they kinda screwed themselves a litte here because of the simultaneous release thing they talked about. Like if they didn’t say that before this update yea people would be pissed still but it wouldn’t as bad but because they said it it makes people feel somewhat lied to or misled. If they talked about simultaneous releases after this patch then they’d look good since that’s 100% do-able for regular patches and they would live up to their word. So I think on that part it’s bad timing as for the rest I have no comment

On console our most recent killer is The Pig, from January.
I reckon there will be lots of people who would have "impulse purchased" Curtain Call on release as the anticipation is always HUGE before a new killer. But with the PTB and console delay, we've all seen the killer loads online, the new map, Kate,- it's all old news now.
