Right. Because saying something about all the irrational butthurt in game is the same as contributing to it. You're a real brainiac.

You unknowingly are contributing to it but you refuse to understand how

@SlipperyFunTime I’l make this very easy for you to understand. Both sides are toxic. Both sides should not be toxic. Both sides should stop being toxic. Instead of that you decide to focus on one side and call them out even though both sides are toxic. Which calling one side out rarely ever works and I know if I was a toxic player and I saw this I’d say screw this guy he’s just another player who blames survivors for everything and I’d just continue or be even more toxic moving forward. People like you who do this are part of the reason toxicity doesn’t decrease

Yeah, you probably would double-down on your crap behavior. After all, you have failed to understand the basic idea of my post. In some braindead fashion you have decided I am complaining that survivors complain- and pointing out in the same braindead fashion that both sides are "toxic." I explicitly corrected you but it's like you can't even read. You just trudge on like a zombie. Unbelievable.

What’s unbelievable is you called me brain dead yet obviously didn’t get my post or what I was trying to say lol I’m so done with you just continue with your useless posts kiddo. Stay salty ✌️

You sure you on the right forum? I don't think I've ever heard the Survivors to DBD referred to as Counselors.

Lol when you play both DBD and F13, atleast your reponse wasn’t toxic, that community could learn a thing or two.
I feel bad for jason in f13 he can get bullied and memed so hard by the counselors
  • @SlipperyFunTime a mori spammer (idk if this is the official term for it but this what I call it) is a killer who usually on the last survivor will keep starting and stopping the mori over and over. Not killing them just starting and stopping the animation. So tell me where was the entitlement in that? I’ll wait. Or was that me telling a killer how to play? I’ll wait happily for that one.
  • @Jukantos ok I’m still a little bit confused here because you say “your perk choices can literally mean you choose whether you wanna rank up” What do you mean by that? You can use no perks and rank up and the best perks and not rank up even if you’re trying to rank up. Also would I be punished for getting a teammate off the hook they get hit and then get hit again and go down in front of the exit gate. And when they get picked up we bodyblock for them or they get flashlight saved then escape because they would’ve never had that chance of escaping if I didn’t bt them, they’d still be on the hook. I think that’s what it comes down to for a lot of people is they’d rather have the chance of escaping then their team not even trying for them because their afraid to lose points.

I know I personally have played in games where the scenario above has happened or I’d be on the hook in the basement get taken off get hit use that speed burst and lithe a window to get away then go down in a random area on the map because I didn’t have self care but then a teammate comes and picks me up. I wouldn’t never got away if wasn’t for the BT so I don’t think they should be punished for that at all. Sometimes there is no such thing as a safe unhook (especially facing the nurse or billy)
  • I definitely don’t think you should get penalized for someone getting put in the bt state after you unhook them. That would defeat the entire purpose of having BT in the first place because you would want to only unhook people when it’s completely safe.At that point you might as well just never run BT and run we’ll make it instead.  Also this would punish survivors who save their teammates from hooks in front of the exit gate at the end of a match so you’d essentially be punishing people for being the reason their teammate survived. And then there’s basement camps

@SlipperyFunTime it doesn’t matter who has more both sides are toxic so both sided get blame

Yeah, it matters who complains most because I don't want to hear whiny crap in game. I don't want to hear it as survivor or killer. I have played hundreds of hours of both. Rarely do I come across a salty, angry killer blaming the survivors for how they played. Rarely do I get a rage-quitting killer. But from survivors it is an endless stream of butthurt rage in chat and rage-quitting in game. Again, its not a ratio of 4 to 1, more like 40 to 1. The survivor entitlement about camping/tunneling is about 80% of the toxicity problem in DBD.

I’ve had many rage quitters in my time playing and some but not as many moris spammers. Stop trying to give free passes. Both sides are responsible. Honestly it just sounds childish.
  • @SlipperyFunTime it doesn’t matter who has more both sides are toxic so both sides get blame
  • I'd go one step further tbh, I'd just make it so using Technician means you don't remove the sparks of a regressing gen at all.

I like this it’s another stealth perk with this added and it’d be impactful
  • All I want is that Feng bunny I hope they just are waiting until the full release of the patch

If they ever do this I pray they give feng a passive that doesn’t involve the generator not blowing up thing because it’d be like she doesn’t even have a passive. Not trying to bash your idea or anything like that I like the idea of passives.

Yeah it'd be way too broken, I think if the passives are just like nominal versions of their own main perks - like feng would have a 5-10% chance to not cause gen to blow up (but for perks totally unstackable)

Meg would run 5% base faster

    etc

See but then she might as well not have a passive at all. Like skill checks are so easy you can go entire gaming sessions without missing a skill check and even if you do miss one it’s not likely her passive will even take effect. While I like the idea of passives I don’t think they should do them because you’d see the same survivors over and over. Like why would someone choose feng over meg if meg can run 5% faster and feng has a passive you won’t get any use out of ya know what I mean?
  • If they ever do this I pray they give feng a passive that doesn’t involve the generator not blowing up thing because it’d be like she doesn’t even have a passive. Not trying to bash your idea or anything like that I like the idea of passives.
  • After looking at the prices and doing some math, the $20 deal is the worst one of them all(usually $20 is one of the most popular if not the most popular deal in games). And i agree they are a little high but I’m just glad they aren’t loot boxes and you get to pick what you want unlike some other games
  • I think the good about it being the way it is now is that you get to see different survivors. You’d pretty much see the same survivors over and over because of the perks. There’d still be repeat characters because solo queue unless the matchmaking only put you in games with different characters but wouldn’t that make waiting times way longer?

But that's the purpose of the perk... to dodge the killer, and once again he still deal with it and if they're really gonna waste that much time you just don't go for them and chase a different survivor first. Then go to them when they are in a bad position, and you can get survivors in their "safe areas" by just juking them pretty easily.

There's no need to teach me how to play, especially since the advice of "chase someone else" is good only on low ranks, where the chances of 4 SB are lower.
I don't say Sprint Burst is OP, but it's undeniable that it's the strongest of all the exhaustion perks and it makes the survivor's life way easier.

Btw Dead Hard was made to dodge hits (it has invicibility frames), Sprint Burst should serve to gain ground but thanks to how the hit detection works, it allows to dodge attacks more easily than Dead Hard itself.

The strongest AND the easiest lol
  • I feel bad for freddy lol he’s that kid that’s always the last pick in gym class
  • @Kiores “the gen warriors”😭😭 love it
  • I can name many killers that can counter looping

Hag: place a trap, Trapper: place a trap, Hill Billy: Use his chainsaw Leather Face: Use his chainsaw Nurse: Blinks Huntress: Just throw a hatchet

Nurse is the only one who can counter it well. Trapper and hag need to get lucky that someone goes to where they trapped. Or Hag can stop a loop once it has started but she needs to waste time putting a trap down.Trapper 100% does not counter it his traps are way too easy to disarm and aren’t gonna be at nearly enough pallets for him to be considered as a counter. Imo only killers that can consistently stop it from happening are the ones who can be considered as counters. On to LF and Billy they don’t counter it at all either they can make it end faster yes but that’s about it. Huntress I also thought countered it but I had it explained to me why she doesn’t and it’s because most loops you can hide behind things or break los so she can’t hit you with a hatchet.

Oh I'm sorry you read it that way! I in no way requested Killer nerfs. I in fact play both sides almost equally :) I just want a truly balanced game, which can be hard to do for lots of reasons!

my unpopular opinion is that the game shouldn't be balanced and that the game SHOULD be on the killers side. I mean they are supposed to be the big scary monsters that kill people, but if they can't kill people then what's the point.

    That is balance

camping is a subjective term. its in relation to other survivors.... if they're close, you're 'guarding the hook'. if they're far away, you're 'wasting your time'.... 'camping' is just a dirty label made for survivors to shame killers into doing what they want....

Yes. And "toxic" is a misused label killers use for survivors who use the tactics made available by the devs to out play the killers. There are legitimate reasons to camp as killer for sure. But camping your first hook with no one else near you is not only a waste of time, but rightfully labelled as camping. The glorious moment when the pig downs the first survivor, tea bags, then camps, should in no way be frowned upon lol.

    you're absolutely right....

What is this "rightfully labelled as camping" nonsense? Anytime a killer hangs around anything, whether it be a particular gen or exit or hooked survivor, that killer is camping. The only question is whether people should feel entitled to complain about camping as if the killer did something wrong. In my opinion the answer is NEVER. A survivor should never complain about camping as if the killer did something wrong. The killer isn't there to be an artificial intelligence for the survivor and make sure everyone has a good time.

This is a competition. The killer is not the friend of the survivor. The killer doesn't need any opinion by the survivor on how he should camp "correctly" or not at all.

If you flip the situation the absurdity of this is clear. Would a killer lecture a survivor that he looped too much, or at the wrong time? Do killers make up goofy words for the "sins" of survivors, like calling anyone who uses a flashlight a "flasher" and then whining like babies every time someone uses a flashlight? You know, as if using a flashlight is a sin and the survivor should feel guilty. Do killers justify disconnecting because of an A-hole "flasher" or some other such nonsense? In other words, the survivor didn't play the way the killer wanted the survivor to play, therefore WAAA!

Worst thing about this game is the entitlement survivors have about camping/tunneling. Survivors need to get it through their thick skulls that camping/tunneling are not "wrong-play sins." They need to get it through their thick skulls that killers can camp/tunnel whenever and however they want. If by some miracle the survivors accepted camping/tunneling as legitimate tactics for killers the toxicity in the DBD community would go down by at least 80%.

See but the funny thing is some killer players actually do all those things you listed minus the calling them a flasher part so I don’t understand why you seem to think the survivors are the only entitled ones.

    4 entitled survivors for each 1 entitled killer..simple math : P

Survivors are not the only, but they are by far the most.

So nobody should be complaining about entitlement anymore considering both sides do it. It just looks stupid at this point. Almost forgot :P

Why do you say hag belongs at the number 1 spot?
  • Since they are no longer in the game they can’t be counted as “living” anymore because they can no longer help their team.
  • Hey, McCree, do you know what time is it?
I read that in Mei’s voice

Yes BUT, with Hillbilly you can MISS THE SURVIVOR and still have the camera snap to the survivor with chainsaw AND with normal lunge. Meaning that there is some sort of aim assist.

I thought we were just talking about regular swings with the chainsaw idk how that’s done lol

Well what’s stopping a rank 1 killer from farming ultra rares on rank 20 survivors when the rank reset happens because at rank 20, survivors basically give you the 4 man.
Well, likewise, what is stopping a survivor from doing the exact same thing against new killers. Or going on a SWF and have others feed them items, or stealing someone else's item after they died.
Survivors cannot farm ultra rare add ons in this sense it’s impossible. They can farm bps yes but they have to actually spend the bps on the ultra rare add ons that they may or may not even get in their blood web. Where as in this suggestion killer can farm ultra rares without spending any bps on them or needing it in the blood web. I can already see the Michael player with 50+ unlimited tier 3s or the huntress with 50+ insta down hatches add ons ready to go within the first week of rank reset. Also doesn’t that make them no longer ultra rare since everyone would have a bunch of them? Like i can be completely new to the game with level 1 killers and if i get a 4k boom i have an ultra rare add ons no grind or bps required.
  • @GolgiNea luck is such bs in this game lol

Wait...aren't the Survivor's also reset to rank twenty? I mean seems like they balance it out fine by default.

See but here’s thing if I’m a killer player I’m just gonna stay well below my rank to make sure I get 4k a majority of games so I never need to spend BP on add ons anymore. When I feel I have enough I’ll just rank up to where I belong. Also survivors can’t get any item with any attachments. I’ve never heard of anyone getting like a toolbox with a bnp in it or an insta heal med kit even if it’s possible it’s still extremely  rare and the survivor has to actually survive to keep it or hope the killer doesn’t have franklin’s. I have heard of people getting purple flashlights and purple toolboxes from chests but still they have to survive and not get franklin’s demised. And 4ks happen significantly more frequently than getting either of those out of a chest.

Fair enough, I’ll consider it. Sprint Burst is decent but the only issue is it’s easy to forget and waste your burst then you gotta wait until your exhaustion goes back time. Surely Urban Evasion 3 is the best? No tracks and that?
Lithe will make you improve at the game faster than sprint burst will that’s why I recommend it. And urban evasion is good out of chases because you can crouch walk as fast as regular walking but in chases it doesn’t do anything
