Your first sentence doesn’t make sense. The wraith does not go invisible. Freddy is the only killer that is invisible (until you’re asleep of course) and it’s easier to stealth a killer you can see compared to one you cannot see. So no it’s not just as easy, can it be done of course it can but not as easily.

Btw are you and your friends going pro? I’m curious because according to you you guys are just so skilled compared to the rest of us noobs and are just able steath every killer you face. So lmk what team is signing you guys please I’d love to watch god tier survivors who never loop and probably don’t even need pallets because they’re just that good. Heck you guys probably have never even died y’all are that amazing.

When you got no way to prove me wrong but I can give you a hint right here of how to stealth doctor for example since he's the usual excuse not too try....let him chase someone and get madness 1 while he is distracted, then it's easy from that point, just use lockers when your getting too close too tier 2 or 3 if you get that far.

Wanna stealth freddy just fine? Using the eyes and ears the lord blessed you with helps just fine.

Wraith? Kinda obvious cuz he has some mighty loud growling.

You can doubt me and any other player who can actually stealth with skill but your gonna be the ones who keep on having trouble doing it and making excuses not too, Not me and not them either : P

I honestly think you just refuse to read at this point so whatever you say MLG just lmk when your first tournament is happening please I can’t wait to see god tier survivors who don’t need pallets and never die.

Hey you keep putting words in my mouth now, I never said I did'nt die, but I know i'm obviously better at stealthplay than you are : P
Cuz I'm not the one making excuses to not do it.

Nah i just expect a god tier survivor like yourself to never die because you seem to love talking about how superior you think you are to other players. It’s pretty pathetic but it’s also kinda entertaining that’s why I keep responding. I just want to see how much hot air is in that head of yours. On a serious note though I’ll outstealth you any day of the week :P

Pallet looping is staying in the game unless the developers dramatically rework killers like Freddy.

You’re suffering this man’s nonsense as well? I know your pain my man

You can throw it a good distance if you wait until the bottle shimmers That's what I was referring to. I fully charged it, and it's such a short distance. I can hit it just fine. Doing cross map hatchets with Huntress has prepped me for him, but his trajectory is so bad.

Wait so what do you want him to do be able to throw bottles across the map? He’s not huntress he his own killer, he has bottles not hatches so it makes sense why the trajectory is different and the distance is different. I personally think it’s ok distance but to say it has 0 distance is a bit of an exaggeration  I'm saying for long range, he can't do anything, so what's the point of cutting off an area if you have to be RIGHT on a survivor to do it? It's a really uncomfortable range that you either can hit it, overshoot it, or are better off just nailing the survivor. I might not want a cross map toss, but I wanna be able to have some range.

That’s definitely understandable and the animation looks awkward as well while your chasing someone

That's my problem. I can hit the bottles, it's just really wonky, and doesn't feel rewarding. He needs a bit more range to really cut areas off. Not to mention people just ignore the effects. Some don't even slow down. Assuming it's a bug, but if it's not that's just frustrating.

Yea I know what you mean now. His power doesn’t feel like it does anything. I personally don’t really like his power that much because it just feels a little bland to me.

It's extremely lackluster. There's almost no reason to run it outside of getting Deviousness points, and maybe cutting an unsafe loop? That's about it.

I think the bottle would be ok if maybe it was part of something bigger and wasn’t the main power but an opiton he could choose from. Like he could have a bottle that causes exhaustion for a short amount of time so for example if someone has lithe and they’re about to jump a window you hit them with the bottle that causes exhaustion then lithe won’t activate.

I've heard some people say he feels like he has a two part power that wasn't finished. It needs a lingering effect or something.

It definitely feels like it’s missing that mmf that other killer powers have

It takes time to charge up the chainsaw, it doesn't matter who you're playing, you shouldn't have to even attempt to hit a survivor before picking up the one who lost the chase and got knocked down. You won the chase, so why should you have to take on another survivor just to get the "reward" for winning the chase.

Why are you trying to argue that with me? Argue it with someone who thinks otherwise I was just curious as to why he didn’t try to chainsaw them instead and I got my answer.

The projectile arc is awful, super long reload time, gas lasts for a minimal amount of time but the slow is nice. Super generic killer. Pallet looped, hurt but the same meta perks that every other killer suffers from. Decent perks, fun to play though.

I think the reload time is quite long that I definitely agree with but if they decide to adjust things with the gas it may make the reload time warranted so we’ll see what happens.
  • I was playing HillBilly as well, if anyone needs to know what killer I was using

Would've enjoyed a full new realm, since carnivals and amusement parks offer so much as a theme.

Yea there’s so many possibilities for maps with this killer. It just feels like they dropped the ball on this one for right now anyway

As a survivor player I think they should start making new killers OP when they first go on the ptb and they tone them down from there because imo it’s easier to find a balance that way than it is when the killer is too weak to start off

I agree. Go nuts on the PTB. That's why it's here. Try a few different versions of the killer. Find what works, what doesn't, and go from there. Instead they live in mortal terror of doing something that offends survivors so they lowball killers and then hope said killers will be grateful when they get the most basic of upgrades.

I think they just want to balance the killer but they’re trying to do it right off the bat which is the probably one of hardest ways to go about it. And some it probably is that they don’t want to upset people but people are going to be upset regardless of what they do so they might as well take easiest of the all the possible routes to get to the balance they want.
  • Yeah, I think he's close to being VERY playable. His power, however, is just too underwhelming. I'd love to see a change where when the survivor coughs it briefly inverts their controls. Not for long just long enough to make them jerk one way or another.

I think that’d be fantasic because after all they are disoriented and everything
  • As a survivor player I think they should start making new killers OP when they first go on the ptb and they tone them down from there because imo it’s easier to find a balance that way than it is when the killer is too weak to start off
  • It's a PTB. You "jump the gun" millennials are ruining this game man.

Relax. I like the new stuff. It seems good. Over time can your opinion be formed in an appropriate and "objective" way.

That new survivor perk with pallet vision is strong. In time things will shake out. The devs are doing a good job.

Why do you have to single out a specific group of people though? I’m 100% certain there are many players who aren’t millennials “jump the gun” so assuming they are a milennial is just silly.  Are you one of those old people who hate the younger generation for whatever reason?
  • Nah ptb stuff doesn’t carry over. And people are speculating in about 2-3 weeks it’ll go live but I don’t think there’s been official word yet
  • Feng Min. I love Feng Min. You love Feng Min. We all love Feng Min.
  • Yea I think LF and Clown are the only two without their own realms. I’m gonna be honest if this is his map I’ll be kinda disappointed because Crotus Penn is nurse’s realm already. After the release of the game I thought we’d see more of how doing a gen slightly changes the environment and I think that could work very well with this killer but the map isn’t bad imo.

  • Don't call something OP when you've gone against it twice. Don't ruin this for us. Don't get it nerfed to hell.

Yea next thing ya know we got freddy 2.0 lol
  • Basically you're a survivor main (that is obvious) and you've played a new killer twice with a new perk...

You've not yet been able to adjust to it yet... and got rekt by it. So you complain?

YOur lack of objectivity is alarming. The killers got a strong perk... good for them. You guys also got a "Pallet/vault" perk too. It's just fine.

This might be the best DLC they've done. Well done so far.

Yea that dance with me perk sounds like it’s gonna be really good paired with lithe or Q&Q
  • Idk I’m hesitant to make a judgment since it’s literally the first day it’s been out.

Oh..right...They have more skill making up excuses to not play stealth than actually trying to get good with it.

Not pointing out anyone here, just this seems to be the normal.

Next you're going to tell me looping a Nurse is viable because you can stop her blinking with a pallet.

It just sounds kind of petty when you talk about a 10ms advantage for the Killer when picking someone up or hooking someone. Most of the "vacuum" you see there is because of lag. When you're playing an online game, the Killer is never exactly where you think they are, same for your survivor's position. This is why some lunges feel like they shouldn't have hit because the Killer seemed further away when he was really closer than you thought due to lag.

Not quite. The devs stated it's a "real" issue and they'll fix it. It works the same as the pallets vacuum and it basically nullifies Flashlights as a whole. Hook related vacuum is less meaningful, but it does interfere with the take-a-hit for the team strategy.

I mean "issue"? The Killer wins maybe 1 second of time in a game where winning time is the most important thing for the Killer. How people even complain about something so super minor boggles me, but that's just the nature of the game I guess. If Killer gets something good Survivors need it too.

Because it’s not minor. The pick up vacuum is the difference between a killer getting pallet stunned when they pick up survivor or not. I consider that a big deal since it can save a hook for that survivor or their life altogether. It also can mean the difference between wiggling free or not. How many times someone been super close wiggling free but the killer just barely makes it to the hook? If they didn’t pick up vacuum those couple steps the survivor would’ve gotten off. I think it’s one of those things where it may not seem like it makes much of a difference until it’s experience in game.

It seems like most of the players prefer a longer match over the 3 or 5 minute matches we currently have at high ranks.
    Interesting
What causes then the survivors to gen rush?

I guess it might be because they’re facing a good killer and if you mess around against a good killer you can get snowballed easily

    Yes, pallet looping always existed.

    Why is it meta?
Is it easier to run around in circles like a monkey or try 360s, jump a window and then blind, use sprint burst and then urban evasion to stealth away, knowing the map so u can run a few pallets and gain time?

Pallet looping is just the easy way out, anyone can do it and it doesn't require any effort or skill, and thats why the majority that doesn't even try to use other methods or perk combinations abuse it.

You mentioned The Nightmare before, easely one of the worst killers in DBD at the moment.
You want to know how to counter him without looping like a monkey? rush gens, freddy requires a lot of time to setup.

Which is why looping shouldn't be an automatic win.

You said the Nightmare takes a lot of time to setup. You're forgetting though matches against the Nightmare are naturally longer thanks to his power (not including perks).

I'm also aware the Nightmare is easily the worst killer in DBD. But this is a killer you cannot juke, since he'll always go back to chasing you, a killer you cannot successfully stealth since he's invisible when he doesn't find you at first and then is fully aware of you position once he does.

Survivors are forced to play in a particular style against him (kinda like the Nurse). You have to loop him to buy time for your team so they can rush generators.

You can stealth freddy just as easily as you can wraith while he is invisble, It just requires paying attention to a lullaby and your surroundings. I done it, My friends done it, why so much lack of skill in stealth for survivors lately?
Oh..right...They have more skill making up excuses to not play stealth than actually trying to get good with it.

Not pointing out anyone here, just this seems to be the normal.

  • I like that last suggestion because then killer has  to make a choice. Do I camp this switch or do I patrol gens?

Ik, I want to see these pallet changes and if they dont change anything, I am out.

What exactly are you hoping for?

the pallet changes they showcased on the dev stream. That's all i want. Idk why I got downvoted, it's boring to run in circles.

You’re still going to be running in circles just not as long. I think it may take out one loop, it may not even take out any loops for some killers
  • Some characters also breath louder than others. I’M LOOKING AT YOU MEG!!
  • I play on ps4 as well and most of the time you’ll get hate mail as killer just like the other platforms. It’s interesting though because usually on console since there’s no chat people aren’t so committed to the effort it takes to send hate mail.  I haven’t gotten a crazy amount of hate and aside from the one time I was mori spammed most it was pretty entertaining. I wouldn’t turn off messenger over it because in my experience the people you meet who make the game fun will make everything worthwhile and enhance your experience.
  • I’m personally just gonna see who the new killer and survivor are and what they bring as far as perks and the killer power the rest I want to be a surprise especially any feng min stuff
  • Trapper is the only killer in the game whose power you can literally destroy. This is ridiculous.

Yea like I see trapper being the worst killer in the future if he doesn’t get buffed
  • The offering that shows survivor Auras for 5 seconds after the match starts . only for killer of course and ultra rare .
Idk about that one mostly because of how the spawns work.
  • Its honestly interesting people say buff trapper . like are you crazy , do you wanna break the game , unless you are swf facing trapper is actually already annoying AF . the fact that you can disable infinite and basic attack the freak out of survivors . my opinion is hag since we have so many ideas on how to buff her and I actually made a discussion about it .
Trapper is not annoying at all imo. I know where the good trap spots are so I check those spots for traps thus making his power useless. Heck even during some chases you have enough time to disarm a trap. Depending on their placement you can run right by them whiletrapper himself will get stuck in it. I mean even in solo games I hear more traps get disarmed than I hear actually catching someone. Most of the games I play the trapper doesn’t catch anyone in a trap. His power is extremely dependent on the survivors which is pretty bad
  • Love some of these ideas. Glad to see I'm not the only one who is dissatisfied with the daily rituals. Hope the devs see this :D

Nah I see what you’re doing myers. You us give this discussion to distract us while you stalk us from a distance building up to your unlimited tier 3. Very good plan i must admit but it will not work as I have prepared for this VERY MOMENT.....*drops pallet* *uses key to go through hatch*

Devs said they won't make a 3x BP to ever happen again, sadly, because they said it "broke" their game.
They didn't say anything about the next 2X BP tho.
Dbd anniversary is pretty soon tho, just saying.

So does the 2x event also count for rituals?
  • Very excited considering we know almost nothing.

Nah man you’ve been in that locker too long so you didn’t hear them :D

I don’t ~love~ that they’re revamping DS, I know it’s a huge advantage to a survivor, but it’s once a game and if not used correctly you can get caught immediately again. DS is a powerful survivor perk, but there are also powerful killers that aren’t getting messed with. The Michael add on that allows him to have an endless Tier 3 is annoying. Whenever it’s used all the survivors give up. Why are we only focusing on weakening the survivor while giving the killers more powerful moves.
See but the Michael unlimited tier 3 is an add on and gets consumed when it’s used, ds is a perk so you can use it every game and multiple survivors can have it. Imagine being the killer in this scenario you chase a survivor for a gen’s worth and they finally messed up so you down them then when you go to hook them they ds and now you have to spent another gen’s worth of time getting them down again. Now 2 gens are done all because of ds. Now imagine every survivor having ds so you essentially have to down every survivor twice before you can hook them once and all while that is happening gens are being done.
i know that, but when multiple people use it ignore you’re not the obsession you have to wiggle quite a bit to trigger it and usually you’re gonna be hooked by then. i understand that it can be frustrating for the killer, but there are killers that are frustrating that dont get revamped just because people complain. I get frustrated when Leatherface knocks survivors down even when they’re not injured in one hit. If they keep changing survivor perks because of a killer complaining then the game is no fun anymore.
You can avoid the leatherface chainsaw. The killer can’t avoid a ds and dribbling is risky because if the other survivors come to body block that’s person is definitely getting free. I’m just not a fan of giving survivors a second chance when the killer doesn’t make a bad or risky play. If the killer mind games the survivor i feel they deserve that hook because they earned it. It’s like a killer being unable to undo a finished gen it’d just be unfair to the survivors if that was allowed. You also have to take swf into account. Swf makes ds so much more powerful and the devs have to take that into consideration as well.
  • See the thing with that is op builds can and will happen. Imagine a survivor with ds,urban, self care, sb and vigil as the random perk oh my that poor killer. Imagine facing a nurse with bbq, nurses calling, thana, make your choice, and dying light as the random. That’s not even considering her add ons.
