You'd play "casual" earn all the perks and items you want to make a run at rank.
Rank is then how you'd earn shards for stuff that isn't needed but is cool like outfits and skins and perks from the shrine. You could still have rank reset everyone but to 20 at the start of the season and anyone who made it to 5 or lower would get something cool like a killer head that you cant get any other way or a cool shirt for survivors maybe you could give rank 1's a special color variant of the item of the month?
I just think this game needs to give people a reason to keep playing and playing both killer and survivor.
The main point is if you separate casual from rank you give people a way to enter the game with the right mind set and people would be less upset with each other, you couldn't get mad if the killer shows up to play for keeps in rank mode, it's what it's for and you better bring your A game too, and remember no SWF so... As it sits right now I think it's why people butt heads so much some of us show up to do our best to win and others just want to play around. Very annoying when one of those goes against the other. This idea fixes that.

His “boy” probably sucks at the game tbh. I mean even if someone brings the killer to you while you’re about to finish a gen it’s a minor inconvenience at most and sometimes you can just finish the gen with the killer there. The stupidity is too real with some people

This is reasonable imo. I know in dev stream 72 they showed off the concept for it the same time they showed davids fighter concept and we know his made it into the store.I read on reddit it was confirmed to have 3D modeling and stuff but it’s reddit so I don’t take that as fact. I don’t understand what you’re trying to say. As survivor you don’t know the killer playstyle until you are in the match. Even when you get in the match you may not know for a little bit because you can play against a Myers with scratched mirror or one with unlimited EW3 they’re not going to play the same. You also don’t know their perks until you’re in the game as well. Same with killer you don’t know survivor perks until you’re in the game. The advantage is very minimal if any. Pallet looping, too strong survivor perks, gen rushing,totem spawns, and swf are the big things that are causing the big imbalance we have currently. Every survivor should be unique in some way I agree but even if your suggestion was implemented it wouldn’t do much at all as far as balance goes. I don’t that it’ll bring balance to the game because every game I could message the killer my exact loadout and they can counter it directly and aside from nurse it would make minimal differences in how the game will play out. If it was hard to put people to sleep I’d get it but it’s not. It’s not at all difficult to put someone to sleep and then all that will happen is he will just hit a survivor once then get in range to use the that ability and unless he lost them when they get the burst of speed from being hit it’s an automatic down every time. As freddy I’ll gladly wait 7 seconds if it means im basically guaranteed a down. Actually I’ll use the add ons that make his dream transition shorter, combine that with noed and remember me omg if I see anyone it’s a gg because I’ll just get in range to use that ability and at the point they might as well stand still they’re going to get downed no matter what they do. And you can use make your choice for during the match too oh god just straight destruction.

I think you just have had bad luck lol I’ve been there before and it’s evened itself out. Now currently I’ve gotten only survivor dailies but most of the time it’s been a mix of both.

@EclipseDarkstar I’m still confused because with the nurse you can see where she’s facing and her streak that she leaves to help juke her so it’s not a completely random guess but with this it sounds like I’d be randomly moving because I can’t see him at all and there’s no way of me knowing where he’s going. I just don’t understand where the mind game part comes in because he can just wait until he’s right behind me to just hit me and I’d have no defense since I have no way of knowing where he is and he can go through everything. If he doesn’t hit me then it’s because he somehow messed that up not anything I did. With reduced movement speed idk I just don’t want to feel cheated ya know lol

I don’t mind the other changes really but number 4 I don’t think will do much because swf. And what is the outplay to the 5th suggestion like what as a survivor am I suppose to do in that situation because I can’t affect him in any way, he can walk through everything so it’d be a waste of time hopping a window or dropping pallets, I can’t see him, and he’s faster than me. Am I just like screwed lol

@Runiver I think this one of those situations where nobody is at fault because I think everyone here would do what Sony and Microsoft does with the patches if they owned the consoles so I don’t blame them and Behaviour obviously isn’t at fault. I personally would just hold until everyone can have it but that’s just my opinion but given how long it’s been since anything new come out along with money reasons I understand why they’d just push it out to pc faster. I still regret getting it on console though lol I’m so used to games releasing everything at the same time for all their platforms that there’s a little bit a salt there ya know how it is

See but this wouldn’t work because survivors don’t need it to be visible tbh just cleanse every totem then it’s gone or just work through it if you’re good at hitting great skill checks and it doesn’t matter that it’s there. Well if you decided to camp your obsession to make dying light take effect quickly why would you not camp the survivor you caught to make it take effect quickly also. It’s basically the same situation as it is currently it’s just any survivor that may or may not have ds so you can hook them faster but once hooked it’s the same decision you have to make to camp them or not to camp them because they still have to die

I don’t think there is a counter perk to sprint burst. But even if you did make it less efficient it’s not the the speed that’s the problem really it’s more the way it’s triggered and it’s also the part of it which makes you no able to be hit by a lot of killersDAMNFASTDEAD said:That's correct.

I don’t think the self care change will make much of a difference to swf teams. Like I’ll just ask “hey where are you?” and just go heal him or have him come to me and then he can go to a gen to get his charges back worry free. Or the person will just ask “hey where’s killer?”, “Chasing you? ok.” then they’ll just work on a gen and get their charges back no problem.I feel like this would mainly be felt solo by players and it’d just be an inconvenience to swf because that’s what having to heal someone really is in this game. It’s like “I could be doing this gen right now but instead I have to rub your sweaty back” and yea I’m looking at all you dead hard users lol I had an idea for a self care change but it’s a little complicated

I don’t see how putting the gens in an open area would make much of difference really. Yea it helps the killers see the survivors but that doesn’t help the killer kill very much

Well Doctor isn’t op he’s just really annoying depending on the build so I wouldn’t nerf him maybe just change some things about him if anything. When I realize I’m facing Herman I get upset too because he’s the only killer I personally don’t find it fun to face. I’d much rather face the nurse than him but I don’t think he’s worth dc’ing over I think that’s a bit much. One thing I don’t understand about him is why “snapping out of it” counts as healing
