Yes and No.Yes; If in the weird case they DID add comms, two things should happen:
- Everytime survivors communicated they would have to give away their position, because it should effectively work as if you are calling out to one another.
- If the killer was within 32 meters, they could hear the communication between survivors.
This could actually create for some interesting gameplay; on the other hand, I could see survivors being really fugking mean on comms, knowing that the killer could hear them.
No; Voice chat has the potential to create the greatest imbalance in the game, primarily due to the fact that there are four survivors, and one killer. As an example, you can easily communicate to one another where the killer is, thereby bypassing any real need to use detection perks.
- John says "Yeah, I got him chasing me, I'm gonna loop him a bit, then pull him over to the killer shack; Cindy, can you take him from me for a bit?"
- Cindy says "Ok, let me know when you vault inside, let him hit you, then run out and pallet it stun him, I'll take him from there."
- Marci says "We're gonna be at the gen near the other one we finished."
Later...
- John says "Ok, I just vaulted inside... ready Cindy?"
- Cindy says "Yeah go ahead."
- John says "Oh crap, hey Marci he turned around, he's suspect of that skillcheck fail."
- Albert says "Ugh, everyone head towards John and Cindy, I'll get the killer to follow me for a bit, let him hook me while you finish gens. I'm going to take him as far as possible from John and CIndy's current location. After you guys finish a Gen, come over and save me."
- Cindy says "Ok, before the gen finishes I'll run back to keep an eye on the killer before coming to save you, if need be, I'll reel him away."
why not read my suggestion to how it would work since the killer could hear survivors not at a 32 meter range since normal humans cant hear at a 32 meter range but instead around maybe a 15-20 meter range and couldnt understand what they are saying except they would hear a gargled version of whats being said. and other survivors could barely hear each other at 24 meters and once they got to about 17 or 16 they could hear each other clearly.
I started to read what you had written, but the structuring of your writing isn't easy to follow.
then learn english please

the entity killed off all survivors who found out "too much" like benedict baker or vigo. we dont see them so i assume the entity did something with them maybe they have a vacation spot under the basement or something. we never know anything until they release info but maybe when they release a bunch of info then the survivors we know exist but dont see will come out to play.Benedict and the others are stuck in another realm inside the Entity's Realm. The survivors we know won't be able to get to them.
for now
and by killed i didnt mean literally killed -
@Peasant .................

again DBDS realism isnt the same as the real worlds realism so if the "entity" gives us a perk that says this then why doesnt it do it? all im asking is to see if this was intended or not and if it was the add the extra definition to the perk in the next patch which will take what? 5 minutes? like just add somewhere in there " if you are not running directly next to (when they are on rocks and i run next to them they are alerted) or over them (on the ground)

how is this done exactley? im on xbox so by unplugging it do i keep my items and BP earrned that match?

Ok you know what I'm sick of seeing all these threads asking to punish the killer for camping and I propose an idea to help stop it. How about instead of punishing the killer for staying near we reward him for leaving. Maybe give him a slightly faster movement speed for like 10 or 20 seconds or maybe more bloodpoints for staying away from the hook. That way the killers will only camp when it's necessary which is basically when the survivor is hooked right next to an open door and his teammates are really close. There we reward the killer for leaving and if they stay at the hook they gain nothing extra no punishments and no reward except that one kill that they get for sticking around. Also to everyone saying theres no counter to camping just focus on the gens and save if you have borrowed time. There a simple solution to help stop camping. If you have any feedback I'll be happy to have a friendly discussionjust dc its that simple before the killer can hook you

-
have to have a gay couple right?????? how about nea and amanda hehehehehehe

havent you heard of my dear friend NEA

i always learned to be toxic and 360 (even on console it is possible) and never really learned to be stealthy mostly because of killers having bad internet on console. i see it being more worth while in the long run but i would rather run to a gen halfway across the map and risk the chance of being caught then just urban immersion all the way their in a matter of days. if the killer has good internet i usually can just juke but its hard when a leather face is teleporting faster than the nurse chasing the person who broke her ruin right next to her.

good idea but how would it work? i mean would you both have the same character, same perks, same offerings, same items, same Add-ons, same clothing? or would it require you both play separate characters with separate load outs?like you both cant be nea at the same time you would have to be two seperate people like feng min and claudete or david and dwight.

they are ok with hard of hearing but not color blind people? initiate self destruct sequence
-
literally they should just add this if the killer is in a 20 meter range allow this option not terror radius due to killers who can make thier terror radius small or go away
-
ok dude unless some god made it to where you cant play DBD with any other tabs (other than like twitch or stuff related) than this is bad because consoles would suffer more than pc please refer to my post on adding coms in-game

what i said on the post below this

honey your preaching to the quier

@Orion Thoughts?
-
someone had the exact same post at this point i just had to mute the menu music all together i would rather hear a very gutairy music of kate then that stupid music of the carnival its like JUST KILL ME PLEASE. i thought it would get better with the BBQ event which it did i could unmute until the day it ended i literally turned off my tv as soon as i heard that stupid music. 10/10 would blow my ears off again
-
i feel at the end of each season you should get a surplus of BP for your rank anyway weither your at rank 1 or rank 10
-
wouldnt mind nancy being added TO CONSOLE ONLY SCREW YOU BILL PCONLYBECK jk but i wouldnt mind it being added as a seperate dlc considering we got leatherface with no survivor and bill is pc only

-
little boi. i see what your trying to do here AND ITS NOT FUNNY.
-
maybe they should take a full season and instead of adding a new killer and survivor just add a bunch of different maps to make it more fun along with if they made like 10 new maps and still had time make a few new perks just unlocked on the bloodweb like kindred or NOED. if they wanted to they could also remove map offerings (i wouldnt mind it being more random) or they could add all these new map offerings but eventually map offerings will out rule any other type of offering.
-
why not give the killer say 1000 BP (not associated with any certain thing) if a survivor is saved and he is at least 32 meters away. it would kinda be like event BP its just added to your final BP count. i would still play survivor even if the killer got more BP like this. if it was too big of a diffrence then why not give a survivor 1000 BP maybe 750 if they save and the killer is more than 32 meters away. this would help not only reward the killer for not camping and reward survivors for not farming.

the point of struggling is in the name. S T R U G G L I N G. if all you had to do was hold down the spacebar, or for me on xbox A, then it wouldn't be a struggle. your fighting for your life and those delicious Bloodpoints. i main survivor and sometimes the game does glich/lag and stop me from struggling, but i just come to the conclusion it was probably for the best since the killer had a ebony mori...... @TheHourMan Happy now? try not to be that toxic or you might just get banned.

Despite its description, Spine Chill works off of a (tight) cone, same as Premonition. Killers would definitely look in your direction as they were headed toward you, and if you were to simply position yourself strategically, this wouldn't be a problem to begin with. The same thing applies to Premonition - positioning would become relevant. Right now I can hold M1 and just leave in the opposite direction the Killer is coming from without a care in the world, no matter where I am on the generator. The Shape can't pull anyone off anything when you can simply rotate your camera 360º the whole time.
ok im sorry i thought you meant like a first person view not just forced forward in third. but yes the shape pulls me off when running moniter and abuse at tier 1 50% of the time by being very sneaky
Nah, not first person. I don't like having my face stuck in a generator any more than you do.
I honestly don't know how you get pulled off. I had a Shape try that on me and as soon as I heard the heartbeat (no M&A, obviously, but still), I was out of there and lost him. He only managed to get that close because I got sloppy and stopped looking around. I mean, he wears a bright white mask. It's almost impossible not to see him.
i know right. to be fair it was on lerys memorial institute i was on the middle gen and he dropped from above and grabbed me. i literally died right then and there from a heart attack.

Punish camper killers when they have a survivor on a hook. some ideas when a killer is near by the hooked survivor:
1. Reduce killer walking speed
2. Reduce killer damage
3. Reduce killer angle vision
4. Reveal aura of camper killers for all remaning survivors
5. Increase generator fixing speed for all survivors
6. Reduce blood points for killer
7. Deactivate perks to killers
8. anythign elsewhen a killer is camping a hooked survivor makes the game almost unplayable
they should just remove the ability to move in game if the killer is in the raidus of a hooked survivor for more than a milisecond and for however long the killer is near the hooked survivor that time is tripled and they cant move for that long after the survivor is saved
