Because people will complain no matter what. There will always be disagreements one person my say like "NOED is balanced" then the other guy/girl will say the opposite. There will never be a agreement on anything. Unfortunately that's just the way this game is always gonna be.

Yeah plus you can't remotely find a counterplay if you don't try. Game's not supposed to be balanced, and the difficulty reflects where the lack of skill is.
U win some u lose some is my motto

If they take noed then nerf all the second chance perks surviors got in there kit noed like the only killers second chance perk. I understand nerf but remove? No

I quit playing survivor entirely. Every game was the same, killer proxy camps and tunnels one out as the rest just throw all caution to the wind and try to farm points. If by some miracle you get the gens done in time then here’s NOED, sorry kid no escape for you.
You work your ass off just to lose to someone who put in zero effort. This was happening at red ranks too btw
The ranks are watered down so now red ranks feels like green ranks used to. Also survivors just want their pips and points. The game rather than becoming about escaping is this soulless grind for pips....not that it matters because the games dont get any better at red ranks anymore. Seems like all the good survivors left years ago or only swf now.
Losing is fine but when you have to sweat your ass off while the killer is garbage at chases but only needs to sit around the hook to win it just becomes depressing and pointless. Why put in so much work for nothing? Sure blame it on the survivors if you want but that doesn’t change the outcome.
Not to mention the killers were really becoming less fun. Legion and Ghostface were awful, new Freddy, Doctor and Deathslinger are pretty bad too. Demo was fun and Oni was alright but the rest this year have ranged from mediocre to absolutely awful to play against as survivor.
Not to mention its just the most tryhard garbage everytime. All the meta perks, NOED, strongest add ons and an ebony on the top tier killers. Thats pretty much red ranks, no skill required.
Seriously if you aren’t playing 4 man swf the game isnt worth playing as survivor. Even then I occasionally did play swf sometimes but my friends got pretty bored when most games become “oh he’s camping, everyone else just rush the gens, no fun this game”.
Ok Ima quite playing killer entirely. Every game is same surviors abuse infinites, pallet loops, teabags, flashlight clicks. If by miracle u down one of them a gen or 2 is done. Not to mention all they do is run meta perks with there ds, adrenaline, borrowed time, unbreakable. Losing is fine but when u have to sweat your ass off to gen rusher, teabaggers, or ds abusers its just crazy. Its just getting boring going the the same loops everygame then heading straight to an infinite. Honestly if your not playing strong killers the game isn't worth playing killer.

By the way, I just found out that Huntress only gets deviousness points right now from bleeds. Her hatchets and everything else give her nothing.
So there's another bug to add to the list.
I never realized the amount of bugs in the game I only knew of a few.

Yes.
Clown's bottles barely function. Sometimes the gas doesn't work (won't slow survivors down even when they run through it and scream -- sometimes survivors won't even scream when running through it even if they do or don't get slowed without Calm Spirit). Sometimes the bottles don't explode on impact. Sometimes the bottles explode in a completely different area from where they were even thrown in the first place. Sometimes the bottles literally just outright explode in the Clown's face as soon as he throws them, like he threw them and they spawned and broke on the back of his head or something.
Plague's vomit sometimes won't work even when you puke directly on a survivor. Sometimes objects you puke on (pallets and windows) don't infect survivors that interact with them. Also her lunge has been broken (a bug shared with many other killers like Demo, Nurse and Myers) where the first lunge you make in a match sometimes only makes you travel a wonderful six inches or so at best.
Oh sorry when u said broken in thought u was saying they was OP
-
@[Deleted User] said:

Look back even farther did u not see what it was before? Everything was basically an infinite, gens done in 27 seconds, u could use ds at anytime I could go on but I summed it up killers just now getting love calm down cuz u was quiet when killers got nerfed alot

So survivors bash Freddy for being easy to play, but have no problem with the brutal learning curve and endless bugs on nurse.... Seems that survivors want easy matches, but don't want killer to have that same luxury.
Freddy is a strong overall killer that's easy to play and there's nothing wrong with that. Not every killer that's strong needs to be extremely difficult to play. Before you say it, no I'm not a Freddy main, in fact I don't really like playing him. I vastly prefer wraith to Freddy, because there's more strategy to him.
They bash Freddy because he is a killer they cant really bully they bash any killer they can't bully like how it was with nurse and spirit and now doctor apparently. But aye there gonna be complaints no matter what the devs do

What are you asking for exactly? Being able to kill survivors while sitting back and drinking a relaxing cup of tea? This is a strange request if you don't specify what "sweating" is because in my view it means trying really hard. If you have to "sweat" every game you're probably in the wrong rank.
My earlier comment I meant to say isnt. Plus I'm red rank I have most easy games then there be that swf that just be annoying as hell.

No one wants to play killer, the game is anti-killer. DS Stacking, SWF breaking the game entirely, the fact that rank 20s can literally match with ran 1s due to lack of killers and if rank 1s search long enough their matchmaking allows it frequently.
Eventually devs will be forced to acknowledge due to there being no killers, or will replace killers with bots so the game can be focused even more on its pro-survivor design.
If they add bots they game has fully died and the game will have just been dropped. Which is y I said we need new killers and hopefully vet killers come back with this new update but know devs they gonna nerf sum the killer had going for them then more killers leave.

This game is not friendly to new players - in general. The tutorial does a poor example of explaining things and the game lunges players forcibly into a ranked game where they’re pitted against people immediately.
DBD is genuinely the only game that I’ve played where you’re forcibly made to play ranked in the beginning lol.
there isn’t an environment, where the killer/survivors can learn without the stressing of not doing good enough in the game. I personally only got confident enough after watching a streamer for two months and talking with them constantly about the game - where I got to a point that I felt comfortable to revisit the game again.
the DBD community is always going to be very toxic - especially to players that show signs of weakness because everyone seems to have some sort of superiority.
i ran into a t-bagging wraith that slugged me and my friend and was proud of himself for the game - despite running nurses alongside sloppy butcher (a cancer combination), NOED and pop whilst we were on the game (the map). It was a terrible experience and this cocky wraith who genuinely thought he ‘outskilled’ a red rank survivor team was trying to show it off despite running perks that are cheap as a combination.
moral of story is - people don’t care and unfortunately will be toxic. One of the first things they should’ve done is to introduce a casual game mode
First off t-bagging wraith? Second off yea they do force u into ranked games and they don't teach u anything for real. This game will forever and always be toxic asf for no reason when it doesn't need to be l.

New killers are not needed, actual meaningful rebalance for killers is though.
The killers everyone has grown with are out-dated and weak, Shape, Bubba, etc. Everything killers can do has some kind of painful counter now. very few killers play legit now, most play only when they can afford a mori. The one killer with serious mobility, Nurse, has been nerfed, all low-mobility killers have been crippled by the hex ruin nerf (for better or worse) and nothing has been put in its place to compensate.
New killers are not needed, just some actual attention to killers instead of nerfing everything they touch.
U know I'm talking about new players right? U talking about the killers in the game. Plus we do need new killer players.

I see the patch notes are nerfing survivors so much. They keep saying “A good player can loop the killer in certain spots.” Can I just emphasize GOOD players? What about the new players? What about players who aren’t like the Pro players? Its harder for players like us, the non-pro players, to escape. Several of my friends agree the game is TOO killer oriented from killer being able to close hatch the moment it opens to Doc being able to take away everything the survivors can do. I can understand the closing of the hatch, but making it where it can’t be closed as soon as it opens or making it a perk with the same effect would make it easier for survivors. And about the Doc. He is way to OP. It’s impossible to escape since his shocks stun you so you can’t vault, and it makes it where you can’t use items at max madness 3. It’s ridiculous. His Static Blast ability is insanely OP as well. You can be right outside is terror radius and still be affected by it. A friend of mine mains Doc and agrees that he needs a nerf. The game has become too killer oriented. I personally think it should also be looked at from the non-pro player perspective, rather than just the pro. I don’t know who will agree or disagree, but it’s just my thought on the game. It’s a great game, I just think it needs to be looked over and adjusted. And to anyone who mentions rank, it doesn’t matter what your rank is. Someone could be rank 20 and be a god at a killer. Anyways, I hope anyone who reads has a great day.

There needs to be something in place though. There's nothing more frustrating than knowing that you ended a match with a meager 5000 blood points or less because the killer never left your side, whereas the killer still walked away with 25,000 bloodpoints.
Option on survivors get blood point if the killer is 10 maybe 6 or so feet around the the survivor when they r on hook. that way u can still pip maybe even get points for distraction cuz that's basically what your doing. Your distracting the killer while on hook. I get what your coming from but 30 meters be to much and no killer wants survivors to get a free rescue.
-
@SweetTerror said:
The other night I played five straight survivor matches where the killer never left our side (and when you're having to wait 10 minutes inbetween matches that can be aggravating to say the least). In my opinion that's almost as bad as disconnecting. Some killers like Leatherface can see to it that multiple survivors can be downed at once which ruins a team's ability should more than one member try to save a hooked survivor. I think there should be a massive penalty in blood points should a killer stay within 30 meters or less of a hooked survivor, and the survivors should accrue massive bloodpoints the closer the killer is to them.
That wouldn't work at all survivors can abuse that I'm every match. They could be looping the killer around you on hook or they could be hiding around your hook area and the killer knows that either because of hearing, whispers, or like barbecue and the killer is gonna look around for that said person.

In their most recent QnA stream, Ethan argues how that killer should exhibit pressure onto the survivor by gaining movement speed throughout the chase. I find this argument to be pretty weak. A survivor should not be punished by outmaneuvering the killer in a chase. If the killer is being out-skilled then they should not be rewarded with a compensation speed boost to make up for their misplays. If you as the killer is chasing a survivor for extended period of time, then it is more smart/efficient to leave that survivor to pressure others that are on generators. My argument to the devs is that as the killer there are other ways to exhibit pressure around the map than just giving killers a free and undeserved movement speed boost. This discourages killers to play better and instead fall back on a buff that they will inevitably get. This also makes those unsafe pallet 50/50 mind games much less fun. Thanks to bloodlust, the killer is able to down the survivor not because they won the mind game, but because they didn't have to break the pallet and bloodlust passively allowed them to get the cheeky hit on the survivor because suddenly they can move much faster. This meant that it didn't matter how well the survivor played the mind game and that the killer was eventually going to catch up to you with their bloodlust no matter what.
Tofu explains this very well in his most recent video, so if you have time please give it a watch.
Y should the killer get punished for strong loops. Not every loop is mind game able. The simple loops would be strong loops without blood lust like y r people considering this?

I know the answer to this is gonna be "the other survivors shouldn't work on gens while you're trapped", but many survivors don't realize that gens accelerate the traps, and even if they DO know it becomes a way to grief other survivors and I think we'd all agree that giving players ways to grief each other is something to avoid.

I don't use Adrenaline. Or Unbreakable. I do bones.
As for the "core issue" it is simply bad perk design.
Doesn't use those meta perks but doesn't want to put small game on ok buddy and I can name a bunch of bad perk designs that aren't destroyable.

Survivors complained about ruin. Ruin got destroyed and with it the early game. Devs even said expect to lose 40 to 60 percent of survivor objectives in first couple minutes. So that leaves midgame (new early game) and end game. NOED has potential to be the deadliest endgame perk. The drawback is survivors can make it not work. At all.
There is nothing wrong with NOED except as usual, players in this game don't want to adapt to changing circumstances.
Exactly what I mean remember back then with the old ruin survivors would hop off gens to find ruin some would power thru but my point is they could be doing the same thing sometimes but naw "we gotta gen rush guys if he has noed he a trash killer, and ima text him at end game chat get gud!" 😂😂😂😂

You open the gate to force the hand of survivors. I said don't pull the "buh survivors" thing because killer and survivor are two completely separate games. In my opening comment on this thread, and one I say in many others is that I do an average 2-4 bones per match, by myself, without Small Game or Detective's Hunch.
I go against NoED because it is bad perk design. I have also highlighted how to fix it.
And what chat? I play on Xbox and manage to do just fine WITHOUT NoED.
If you can come up with a better solution, than I have or a better excuse than "But Adrenaline/Gen-rush/do bones", then please, let me know now. Otherwise stop wasting my time by defending serious and core issues.
First of all you came onto my post nobody told u to so if anything your wasting my time your complaining about a totem perk that really isn't the core issue with dbd. The devs even made perks to encourage surviors to do bones but naw instead of doing that your crying about noed. Maybe take your adrenaline to or unbreakable off and put on small game. Also how tf am I supposed to know what u play on. Find some real "core issues" with the game cuz totems perks ain't it.

For starters, I'm PC - cant get up in anyone's DMs. Secondly, killers typically get toxic post-game chat because they were toxic in-game. And Killers can definitely be toxic in post-game, just like survivors can be spicy for no reason. So your point is pretty moot.
And they have nerfed plenty of survivor perks, items, addons and environmental resources. Killers still seem far superior in the cry baby department, especially about their one perk nerf in like the last 12 months. 🙄 You cannot blame me for not wanting to hear the backlash from touching NOED. You know it would be brutal. 😂
Yes killers can be toxic but just like said survivors was probably being toxic in game which usually is. You could 4k and receive toxic messages or u could lose u would still receive toxic messages. I didn't say killers was that toxic cuz it mostly 9/10 be the survivors crying at end game chat. The reason survivors have been getting nerfed because they had everything going for them I'm many departments of the game.

Point was with Myers that as soon as he enters Tier-III, the Exposed notice happens. I was just pointing out how almost every Exposed effect has an instant warning. Probably my biggest hatred of NoED.
Nobody wants survivors to just camp or crouch walk around the map at end game because they got that NOED notification they do anything but walk around the map hiding till they find it.
