They could get creative like they did with this new killer.
I am just saying. I think it doesn't make sense for him to be a re-skin through a killer he doesn't even have a connection to.
Legendary skins now make sense because they are somehow connected with said character (eg. Cheryl , Lisa and Alessa all belong to the same franchise).
Ok what about oni and the minator?

It's pretty disrespectful to fans of that series.
How? How is him bring in the game disrespectful?

I'd rather have Chucky be their own character and not a re-skin of another killer.
Ok, so what's his power? How does he hook survivors? Wait what about pallets?

I wonder if the licensing cost would be the same either way , a question for a developer I guess? @Peanits @not_Queen @Almo ? But I think it would be great to have in the game as a legendary skin if it wouldn't cost the same...
If the cost is the same I would rather have a whole new killer to be honest, so that way we could make the most of it and be able to enjoy more than just the skin for the same cost and have a better experience for Chucky.
I kinda doubt it will cost the same mainly because it's not getting is own chapter, powers, or new map. It's just gonna be an add on but honestly I dont know. But I wouldn't think just for a skin it wouldn't cost the same as it would like Micheal or freddy.

The developers seemed to forget about a few key things that make Victor underpowered.
- He can't go through windows with lunging, nor can he break breakable walls. The breakable wall part makes sense as he is literally a baby, but the window situation only leads to him being looped, hopping through the window, and then being curb stomped by the Meg waiting for him. He needs a window animation, and fast.
- When Victor hops onto the head of a person, they cannot escape through the gate. Okay, but the moment they're downed, Victor leaves, and the survivor can crawl out. :/
- Victor is countered by lockers, that's it. I'm not saying he should be able to open them, but he should at least be able to do something, like.... he can hop onto the locker and the moment they get out he latches on to them? something simple, but something necessary.
Also, a side note; Why does Victor apply oblivious? I understand broken, but why oblivious? Nothing against him, but shouldn't he apply something better and more realistic, like hindered?
If people are actually just holding the baby than I think he should just automatically get a insta down if he is on them for too long. Like how the bleed works or like pigs traps. If they hold him for too long they should just go down. I dont know why they didnt think of that

i think the sister should be charles lee ray and then he throws down a box with chucky popping out, says some stuff and some lightning effects happen like the first movie, but it would be better to save chucky for his own chapter imo
That's the thing tho how would they put him as a killer he is too short to pick up people or break pallets. Plus imagine how his POV would be if your that short. There is also a thing about what his power would be. That's why I say just make him a skin for the twins.

What do u want them to fix? Want them to fix DCing people? Fix how many points u get if someone DC? They can't really do much against bad teammates.

U won't be able too develops said it themselfs it's a playstyle so if u get camped deal with it.

well that's your experience, I can easily say 9/10 killers cry about DS or something a survivor can do.
It goes both ways, bud
Did I say it wasn't both ways? Sense survivors be main people on here crying about something then yes u do also have the killers who also be crying about survivor things but I dont see it as often as i see survivors crying about bloodlust, noed, spirt, huntress red add on, doctor and etc... all I really see killers crying about ds,gen speeds, unbreakable combo with ds, locker ds, swf. But yea sure whatever u say bud

Really ironic, lmao, u got butthurt? im, so sorry :(
I was joking cuz I find it funny how u quote killers crying about x item when 8/10 it's a survivor on the forums crying about something a killer perk or something a killer does. Not butt hurt just found it funny. But u seem to be

Bruh, but there is also another book of "killer's rulebook for survivors", one of those rules says "don't genrush", when that's what survivors should do, the objective of the game.
It's funny that u say this. So when killer kills u by camping or tunneling u come back to this comment. "It's the killer doing his main objective"
-
Ok u said it has permanent use and deactivates when someone else is hooked, healed or doing gen. What if u have 2 people on hook one person who hops off and will infinitely have ds and will go for save on other person cuz people will definitely abuse that mechanic.

A ghoul from Tokyo ghoul and Ken kaneki as a survivor. If not a monster of some sort from Another and the chick with the eye patch as a survivor.

You say "I don't ask for much". But it is. Of course there are some spots where everyone agrees that they are stupid. But this is just a handfull on 30 maps. When it comes to "when are they allowed to spawn", then you have to cut out LOS from gens, LOS from survivor spawn points. That is 11 objects that block any totem spawn point by LOS. You can imagine how big the impact is to find enough valid totem spots then, unless you want survivors to always spawn in 4 man squads.
Totem spawning is not that easy as it might seem
I get what your saying but still they can take the time to take some totems away from gens and killer shake. There is some big maps that can be place some different locations.

This is a wall at the Storehouse. Without the Map I would not have found the Totem. There are some really good Totem Spots out there, especially on newer Maps.
Yes there is some maps where totems actually be in decent locations but then there are the ones next to gens or just basically in plain sight.

That’s part of the point of Hexes though.
The killer needs to reconcile the risk that a hex may be cleansed quick, or may be so well hidden it doesn’t get cleansed at all.
Be honest, when you’ve had games where a Hex has spawned in an almost impossible to find spot, you’ve been able to have a pretty easy match, am I right?
I regularly use Huntress Lullaby on Doc (underrated perk). And when it spawns in an almost impossible to find spot and I get 5 stacks, 50% of the time survivors give up. They realise that the chances of them still winning/escaping are very very slim. Hexes are very very powerful when the totem cannot be found, or takes an extraordinarily long time to be found.
This is why I stand by the current algorithm being fair (except for Disturbed Ward). If hiding spots were to be made more difficult than they currently are, Hexes would need to probably have some of their power nerfed.
Ik that hexes are 50/50 but killers should actually get the chance to use them like for building stacks for devour or lullaby. I don't think it's right for the hexes to spawn right next to survivors main objectives.

If totems are hid even more, then NOED needs a nerf.
This is why I DO NOT cleanse totems, because we'll cleanse the ones that's easy to find and leave the ones that are hard to find, and when NOED pops we won't be able to find the really hidden ones. At least if NOED procs and we haven't cleansed totems, I'll go back to where I know totems have been and that way I don't waste time cleansing totems if there's no NOED.
This wasn't about noed I don't think this was needed lol. U making this about nerfing noed?

@[Deleted User] said:
I disagree about the corn fields.
Take a map like Rotten Fields. If the algorithm excluded corn for totem spawns, then the survivors will have a damn easy time finding totems knowing that they can ignore searching about 80% of the map.
Probably the only map that’s still a real problem for totem spawns is Disturbed Ward.
Every other map, and every other spawn is fair, even the “close to gens” ones.
I disagree with you on that maybe the part about corn field is valid but the close to gens one isn't. Why should a hex totem spawn next to the survivors main objectives? I ligit Just got out of a game where my hex spawn at fun bus (one of THEE most popular loops in the game) also there was a gen right next to it. I knew it wasn't gonna last long and killers aren't going to be able to defend it otherwise gens get popped. All I ask is that they think a little harder on where totem spawns at.
-
They shouldn't stop making indoor maps they just need to work on how they make them. Indoor maps are fine and they help most killers out while also still being ok to survivors. There isn't that many indoor maps anyway.
-
Ok your first few suggestions was completely crazy like what the heck. I also agree that ds needs a nerf/change because it's not used for anti-tunnel at this point. Like touching a gen removes it, or unhooking someone removes it because stuff like that is what they use it for and etc like getting the killer to chase them again because they know ds will save them if they get down. But your first few was def not ok and survivor mains would go crazy if those were a thing but it does need a nerf.
-
If they add that survivors would be claiming its OP give it a day or 2. Legion does need somthing new to them cuz people do just start mending in your face and then its just a endless cycle.
-
The only time they think killers are OP is when they can't bully him/her. They always want a killer who is able to get bullied easily if the survivor know what they doing its why nurse and spirt was nerfed and people want spirt to be nerfed again as well. U make such a good point tho if u don't like the killer no one cares your not forced to buy them. If u think the killer OP u probably just suck.

I love this idea they could make ryuk the killer. His power would be something like he is able to fly upwards and something else they can figure out idk I actually want this to be a thing.
-
Honestly can we just stop complaining about him? There is thousands complaints about him on a daily there gonna nerf him soon. People have been crying about how he is on a daily there probably already working on how to nerf him.
-
I wanna say doctor too many people complain about him usually the people who like to camp at pallets. He really isn't all that powerful.
-
I just want to make a point your saying killers are crying over everything honestly I thought it was swf, ds, ds locker strat, genrush, and sometimes unbreakable. But have survivors not been complaining about basically halve of the killers like spirt, deathslinger, Freddy, hillbilly, the map updates, doctor, and noed. (I didn't put camping or tunneling because that's understandable) there was even a person that complained about pyramid head before he even officially came out. If the game is "ez mode" now for killers so does that make it that before the game was "ez mode" for surviors? Basically everything was an infinity back then. take a page out of your book and stop complaining like u said. Stop blaming it on "this killer is brain dead no skill ez to play" or "this killer has to much map pressure or his/her ability OP" (nurse/spirt for example)

@[Deleted User] said:
Can it also be kept in mind that most hex effects are very powerful.
Lets be clear and honest with ourselves: when hex spawn favours the killer by being in a ridiculously difficult to find spot, potentially that no survivor ever manages to find it, it can heavily skew a match to an unfair degree sometimes.
Prime example, I had a match as Doc where I used Huntress Lullaby in conjunction with Distressing and UP, on The Game. The hex spawn was glorious. It was tucked away real good spot. The survivors just couldn’t find it, and I can be pretty certain that those survivors had a crappy time at T3 madness once I reached all 5 stacks of Lullaby. Not that my intent was to troll the survivors. I wanted to use an advantageous strategy. But these survivors not being able to find the hex at all throughout the whole match was pretty bad. Not because THEY were bad, but because the hex spawn was just way too well hidden.
For such powerful advantages its fair to accept the risk that sometimes a hex will spawn in easy to find places occasionally.
Ok but come on u can't say that that isn't the worst spot when it could have literally been anywhere else? also u see your point but can we at least agree that putting in spots like that or right next to a gen is completely stupid and at least try to look for them?
-
Its funny I made a post about when the new killer comes out somebody was already gonna complain that he was broken. I made this post way before we had known who the killer was and here my friend Is one of many complaints.

Personally the only killer that needs a real nerf is Spirit. Other than that, I mean.. they could fix hitboxes? I guess? But that isn't a huntress only thing, it's a dedicated server thing shrug.
Really, this post is just funny to me.
I'm sorry u haven't seen the deathslinger nerfs or ghostface shroud? Not even the doctor nerfs?

I’ve been playing survivor a lot more recently after being a killer main for years and notice a hell of a lot of killers that tunnel...
I’m not talking unhooked in front of your face, toxicity etc. I’m talking purposely returning to the unhooked survivor just to hook them again.
So why do you do it? The excuse won’t work of “because it’s easier to 3 v 1” because we both know that’s BS it’s the easy way out instead of learning how to get better at the game.
We all play this game to have fun right? Killers wanna have fun and so do survivors right?
Tunneling somebody off hook isn’t fun for the survivor, it’s equally as frustrating for something that irritates you as killer whether it be body blocking or what not.
A simple solution would be for the devs to implement a ‘No blood point emblem score’ In short if you hook a survivor again within a certain grace period the killer is penalised for it, that being you gain no blood points or emblem for that hook. If they choose to camp that downed body then it gives the other solo and SWF survivors adequate time to do gens It’d derank killers into appropriate brackets until they learn how to play the game properly.
I’m well aware tunneling isn’t considers a “Bad word” by BHVR but I seriously think something should be done on this particular issue
Wait there was a proper way to play killer? Last time I checked killers job was to kill no matter what. The instructions/tutorial didn't say nothing about camping or tunneling play the way u play let it be that it might not be fun but meh.

@Batman781 said:
Just for kicks I kept track on a notepad of my last 100 games as a survivor as to who the killer was every match, this is what I found...
19 Doctors, 17 Freddys, 16 Ghostfaces, 13 Spirit, 11 Legions, 8 Michaels, 6 Huntresses, 5 Trappers, 4 Pigs, and a Wraith.
So not only are merely half of the killers on this list, but the the top 3 are the 3 least fun to play against(in my opinion). And the number 1,the ol' Doc, is not only the least fun to face, he's not fun at all. In fact he's downright annoying and so are his mechanics. 75% of survivors are probably like "Seriously, not this guy again." and have (at least a slight)thought of DCing right then. I bet if we could track the killers who were most DCed against he would be at the top of the list(I'm guessing).
Then we have Freddy, who not only excels at slowing the game down but can teleport to ANY gen on the map with minimal cooldown. This combined with BBQ and Pop Goes The Weasel makes it seem like some games we spend 9 minutes working on the same gen for a total of 215% progress needed to complete. Now we have his portals, which get spammed in every chase making looping far more difficult(at least to a reasonable percent of players) and rescues as well(since it slows the process and makes camping a little easier and a more frequent tactic). Speaking of rescues, Borrowed Time doesn't proc if the rescuer is asleep, what a hum job that is. Maybe its me, but I feel dream pallet Freddy is more fun to face(as well as a little easier).
Ghostface, don't even get me started. A tea-bagging Myers in a women's bathrobe. Not knowing where he is, being able to expose people limitless times, being a bit more difficult to keep track of in chase when he actives Night Shroud(for me at least), are some kinks I have with him. Gameplay he's not more difficult than Michael, I don't think. But a great many people who use him are toxic, taunting, A... hole-in-ones.
Can we see some buffs/changes to some lesser killers to give everyone some incentive to switch it up? I'm not saying changes these killers(as Doc just got reworked, obviously), but I miss having a variety in my matches. I guess this goes along side most of my posts that request my martini shaken, not stirred... but I digress. Thoughts anyone?
Reading halfway thru I honestly thought u was finna start saying nerf all these killers but u surprised me and said buff the lower tier ones I'm down for this idea I miss playing clown.

@Negitive said:
There are many things in this game that are broken currently, for both sides. We need to stop letting personal preference about perks get in the way and try and look at both sides of the story, it won't be easy but It's the best we have if we all truly want a balanced game. Let's start with a controversial one: NOED
NOED gives the exposed status effect once the exit gates are powered, unless of course the survivors have cleansed all of the dull totems in the match, there can be upwards of 5 dull totems in a match, less if the killer is using hex totems such as Hex: Ruin. There are a few ways of looking at NOEDs effects:
1: NOED Rewards Killers for failing
2: NOED Punishes Survivors for failing to cleanse totems
3: NOED Punishes Survivors for doing generators (Very similar to View #1)
4: NOED Rewards killers for protecting dull totems
5: NOED Punishes Survivors for Gen-rushing (This is almost exactly the same as #3, but it's in the killers point of view rather than the survivors point of view)
(Please point out if you have another view of how you see NOED)
We can break these viewpoints up into 2 categories, for now we'll call them the For NOED, and Against NOED parties. 1 and 3 are in the Against NOED Team, and 2, 4, and 5 are in the For NOED Team.
The For NOED Team generally has the following arguments as their main arguments:
If you just cleanse dull totems then you won't get hit by NOED anyway.
The Killer only has 3 perks the whole game until the last generator is done.
The Against NOED Team has the following arguments as their main arguments:
Cleansing dull totems take a significant amount of time due to the fact you have to find them before you can cleanse them.
NOED is just not fun to play against because it can rob you of a deserved escape with an instant dying state attack.
There are many other arguments, but these are most common from what I have seen. As seen above a persons view on NOED is often influenced by which side of the game a person "mains", most often survivors will vote against NOED and killers will vote for NOED. To help remedy the situation I encourage all players to try the side you play less frequently and have NOED be involved in the game, as a killer equip NOED and see how much of a difference it makes when it comes down to how many kills you get. As a survivor it is less easy to control how often NOED is involved in a game, but that does play a role from the survivors point of view, see how much of a difference it makes trying to cleanse all the dull totems, maybe even try and record how long on average it takes to confirm that NOED won't activate, and at the end see if the killer even had NOED in the first place.
Once you have played as the opposite role, re-evaluate where you stand on the NOED issue. I personally think that NOED should be changed, I've played survivor and killer relatively equally, and I personally think that there are a lot of things that need addressing right now, NOED, how fast gens are getting done, looping as a concept and much more that I can't detail here. Please try and keep the replies civil, and try and avoid just repeating the arguments mentioned in this post, It's not going to help, that's why I listed them. (Also, I know this has been done to death, that's why I made this post, hopefully we can document all the NOED stuff here so that we can stop having 12 NOED posts every 20 minutes, maybe it won't work :/ but at least I tried)
I wouldn't care if i got hit with noed at the end of day I tried i just gg and move on if I didn't d totems and got hit with noed its my fault not the killers. I also want to point out in your post u had said "it robs u of a deserved escape" I thought about that for a sec and realize there is countless perks and things done that rob killers of a deserved hook or kill. To keep it short pallet saves, flashlight saves, head on saves(situational), DS(mainly ds abusers), diliverence, borrowed time(if your a tunneler). I just wanted to point that out. I don't think noed should get changed yes ik its annoying anf irritating to go against all the time but its literally the only killer second chance perk besides blood warden if u count that.
-

This perk is so easy to counter all you need to do is go look for totems...there’s even perks to help you find them DONT BE LAZY just do totems lol also for those saying “it rewards camping” well it’s a legit strategy.. since you wanna talk about second chance perks what about all the survivors? The synergy between them all is insane but you don’t care about that you only care about noed because “it’s so hard to counter” don’t be a hypocrite if your calling for the nerf for noed then all call for the nerf of stacking second chance perks and ds locker tech or ds at the exit gate you can’t do anything as killer in that situation no counter ..unlike noed that has a counter
U my friend is gonna get all the survivor mains heated lol. I'm not a survior main I'm on the same boat as you but you Finna hear "don't tunnel is the counter to ds" "y should ds not activate at the exit gate just don't tunnel" "your the killer u don't need second chance perks if the the doors are activated u should have applied more pressure to gens" so on and so forth. I'm also positive somebody gonna bring up ozt/otz (######### it is) stream of him camping with leatherface with noed and say how OP it is so good bud lol

Honestly, this update was just another crappy one in a long line recently. Of course you as a killer would be happy with smaller maps and even less pallets, with gens tucked nicely together (seen 4 in one corner) but tbh this has been one of the bad ones.
Now either survivors truly "gen rush" a game or they die. There is not enough pallets or space in most maps to do other things, making games even quicker to win or lose.
Just terrible game design all around.
I see what u mean but some maps did need to be a little smaller idk about the whole pallet situation that's going on but u don't need 20 or so pallets on a map (idk how many pallets it was before or now I just thought of a random number) but I feel like this update was ok as killer and survivor I just have to update how I loop and as killer figure my best strategy for a game and see what the survivors do. I haven't noticed gens be closer anything like 4 in a corner what map was that on?

Well vaulting feels way smoother as a survivor. Find myself getting hit way less when vaulting. Dead zone issue, i believe the devs are already busy looking into it. Some of the maps are very noticable smaller and feels less one sided to play on and feels more balance, like the game could go one way or the other. Depending on what the players do.
That's what I was thinking playing into a couple of matches it really all depends on what u do and where u go for a loop or as killer depends on how much pressure u apply or how quick u can end chase.

I just played against a 4 player buddy group. It was the most horrible game play I’ve ever had. They knew where I was, they knew where each other were for healing. They can communicate all the way across the map, and I’m running around with the Hag like an idiot. This was the least fun and most frustrating experience I’ve had with this game.
I did t get more than one hit on anyone, because they knew god loops, and when they lost me, they knew EXACTLY where to go to heal within seconds.
I’m rank 17, going against a 4, 3, 7 and 2.
each one had adrenaline, 3 had DS,
Prove thyself, 2 had Borrowed Time, 2 Sabateur.
I never had a chance. This was tilted, one sided and completely unfair.
I have been championing how much fun and how amazing this game can be, but if this kind of gang up is where it’s going, I’ll be out, quickly.
I've scrolled just a little bit thru and I'm surprised I didn't get any "git good" comments yet. But back to your thread i don't think matchmaking will be fixed anytime soon plus with killers leaving the game and with swf usually playing with a high rank with a low rank they would more than likely get into games like your rank. But honestly the fact ur rank 17 going against those ranks surprises me but just another reason y match making is dumb.
