Omg that axolotl is so cute

It's not being lazy, it's efficient if done properly, which your baby Nurse didn't do

Are you casually this tiresome, or does it actually take effort and thought on your part?
I always put this much effort in conversations that don't need to exist

I second that nomination.
2 nominations already, I'm pretty much qualified to be up on that wall of DbD Forum Champs

Fair enough

You realize BBQ's the most common perk because it reliably doubles bloodpoints?
The aura reading's nice, but it's not the reason people use it over other tracking perks like Nurse's, Thrilling Tremors, Surveillance, Discordance, etc. It reduces the grind.
BBQ's also insanely easy to counter. You always have warning when it's coming. Get in a locker, crouch so that the gen is between you and the killer's location, move close to the killer's terror radius, move in one direction for 4 seconds after the hook and then go in the other direction. Or just accept that the killer may come for you if you look like an attractive target. It's not hard to deal with it, and it discourages the killer from camping and proxy camping as an added bonus.
OP's name is Rank1Survivor, you expect him to use his brain to deduct that BBQ isn't over powered?

Laurie avatar should be disable so no one else can use it.
Agreed

Sluzzy is the most recognizable out of all of them

Though I bet 1 person will use this post to find out who are survivor mains 😂 they'll use it in an argument vs someone at a different date.
I think @ThatOneDemoPlayer you've done the smart thing and said you weren't a survivor main first lol
Wasn't it obvious I wasn't a Survivor main tho? I've made plenty of comments that are illegal in the name of the Survivor Rulebook

That's all there really is to it. This game is so survivor-sided at this point that playing killer just isn't worth the headache and frustration anymore. I used to enjoy playing killer before dead hard validation, constant boons, borrowed time's changes, just everything that has made playing survivor easier. The cherry on top are these stupid snowmen. I'll be inches from a person and they hop into a snowman to tank another hit and make enough distance to start looping again. I feel like BHVR has made all of these changes to make playing survivor more fun since it's the statistically more played role, but they don't take into account that playing killer is just as necessary and needs to feel rewarding. As of now, it feels absolutely dreadful to hit someone, they scream, you go into cooldown, but they pressed Dead Hard on their McDonald's wifi and have now made it to another loop. I'm just sick of feeling like instead of having to outsmart 4 survivors, I have to outsmart 4 survivors and all of the game's second chances to at least get one kill. Am I alone in thinking this?
You're not the only one who isn't enjoying Killer as much. The role became a chore to play. If you're not playing Nurse (maybe Blight aswell) you're going to have to sweat your ass hairs off to win at high MMR, even with a top tier build
-
The most boring map in the game. Not even RPD, Badham or Haddonfield are this boring
-
I may not be a Survivor main, but you're welcome
-
The downsides from the T-Virus are way too small. In lore, the T-Virus affects the brain and motor functions, turning them into mindless zombies. Getting infected should make doing objectives harder and slower

I'm just saying that is the way I would prefer him to be able to tier up. Doing what he is known for. What his original name was.
I feel like the passive tiering up by chasing would work better on a Mr. X/Tyrant concept than Nemesis imo
-
The Killer killed the Survivors??? No way, too OP pls nerf

I would make Nemesis' more about I guess annoyance or something. Like it's basically a mutation or tier system but it is more focused on getting it through a huge number of interactions while in the chase. For example, your meter builds its way passively to the next tier while just simply in a chase or the longer you're in one the faster it goes. And when you hit someone or something you could get like a 10%+ boost to the meter or something. And various actions like vaulting or breaking walls while in chase could give like a 2% bonus and a pallet break will give you 5% or whatever numbers would make it balanced. I think the way you tier up should have to do something with just being in the chase at in any way. I feel that would fit him and in RE3 he basicaly becomes more powerful as the game goes along.
So I should give him a passive increase to his Mutation hile in chase and doing stuff in chase?
-
This would make it almost impossible to punish hook bombing as Killer, and tunneling isn't problematic or needs some kind of nerf

Hoping the killer messes up isn't exactly what I call "counterplay" but sure you do you. Also, her 1v4 isn't exactly amazing either but if that's what you enjoy
Still better than old Spirit

what is her counterplay that isn't just hold W?. Im not even saying she's op but she has the same problem as nem and deathslinger where she's not OP but not exactly interactive to go against.
She is still loopable, it's just not as easy as other Killers. She is like PH and a bit like Nurse, a ranged attack that goes though walls but can be countered by ShiftW or having unpredictable movements while out of line of sight. I personally enjoy going against Killers like Artist because she isn't pure 1v1, she has a 1v4 aswell and that's more enjoyable imo. It isn't the usual boring hold M1 on gens

I'm personally very satisfied with her. A good Killer with counterplay, tho she is a bit map dependent

What second chance perks are you referring to?
Dead Hard mainly. Unbreakable can be classified as a second chance Perk aswell, tho I don't think it's as bad
-
That's the only way to counter them dude
-
DS is in the most balanced state it ever was. No need to rework it
-
BBQ and Chilli isn't even the best info Perk for the Killer. I have no idea in what dream world you're living in but I'd like to join so I can get 4k's by just using a BP Perk
-
They can balance Demo, but I don't think they are going to unless he gets some kind of game breaking bug

Ik that and I understand why they nerfed it I just don't agree with it at all, huntress can still fake shots so can trickster and pyramid head same with nem and his tentacle
So why tf can't the guy with a actual gun fake anything does not make sense at all imo
I'm disappointed you didn't mention Demogorgon. He has the quickest fake in the game. Idk why he can't, I'm not a dev (yet)
-
I don't feel like she is weak. She's not S tier like people believed, but she's like A tier. Great map pressure, a bit map dependent tho. Great 1v1, tho you get countered by ShiftW a bit. She's a great Killer with counters

Like I said I don't even mind the slow aim it makes sense relative to irl you would take awhile to aim I just don't understand why dropping the gun is so slow I mean irl you can stop aiming instantly or in 1-2 seconds not the slow motion movement that he does nowadays
Survivors complained about a Killer that had no 1v4 potential and only good in the 1v1, which they didn't like, so the devs nerfed his 1v1 AND his 1v4, great balance. The reason he can't put down his gun quickly is because it would allow him to fake his shots, which he was able to do and they didn't like that
-
You can't counter Boons, other than tunneling the Boon user, which is usually 2-4 Survivors. Good luck
-
Yeah the nerf ruined him and made him way more clunky to play
-
No. Your idea will force Bubbas to camp even more because you nerfed their 1v1, when they don't have a 1v4. It's what happened with Trickster when they reduced his knife amount to 44

What if instead of giving exposed, it injured all survivors and made them broken for a while when the last gen pops, and its no longer a hex
It would be really useless. It'd only counter Adrenaline, which is not seen every game, unlike other second chance Perks

Yea I'm actually willing to wait more than 5 minutes for hopeful change regarding this. Do I think it will happen? Probably not. But like I said, I don't see myself playing this game much longer if something isn't done about camping and tunneling. And don't take my word so lightly. I've quit games before that haven't even crossed my mind for years. If you don't think I won't quit this one too then you're wrong. Camping and tunneling is a problem. I am not the only person that feels this way. It is causing some survivor players to not want to play the game as much because I personally know people like this.
There's nothing wrong with camping and tunneling. Fun is subjective. Subjectivity shouldn't impact the objective balance of a game, which is what most people want from this game. Feel free to leave, noone is stopping you, I'd say it would be better if you left
-
To avoid a jumpscare? Spine Chill is pretty fire.
To escape and loop her? Loop her like a basic M1 Killer. If she crouches to try and Ambush, run away from the loop to a different one
-
Exposed Perks in general just aren't that useful to begin with, or are extremely situational at best
-

Rework all survivor second chance perks before touching the only killer second chance perk
Pretty much this yeah
-
1. Twins
2. Hag
3. Nurse/Plague
-
Personal opinion: I don't think NOED should get nerfed or reworked as long as there are other, better second chance Perks on the Survivor side. If those didn't exist, NOED would need a rework
-
@Fabyoulust said:
Why not let a killer place their own hexes. Since clearly killer perks are just soo much stronger than boon totems (sarcasm) you can even keep one per totem but having no control on our placement as a killer while survivors can just pick an amazing spot and not even worry when it gets cleansed is kind of sad.
I don't think buffing Hexes is the right call. Totems spawn should be reworked to be more fair and balanced and maybe add a Token system to Boons

I've decided to quit the game if something isn't done about camping and tunneling soon. Its not worth the frustration and having to go through the unfair advantage killers have of getting kills and points they don't deserve because they decided to play in a toxic way. These playstyles have to be recognized as things that have no place in this game or its just going to make more survivor players frustrated with the game. I've tried to be patient and hope that something would be done to greatly discourage killer players from doing this but they still do it all too often and I am done with it. I'm not going to go into 2022 and keep playing this game if killer players continue to do this. I've had my fun (and lack thereof) but its not worth continuing something that causes me this much frustration every single time I play the game. I want to see change that greatly discourages killers from camping and tunneling. If it doesn't happen soon, I'm moving on.
See you Monday

If it didn't fully regress, it wouldn't be a bad idea
-
It's like the devs don't learn from their mistakes
