Pinhead is easily one of the worst Killers.
He's not one of the worst Killers, he's no Trapper or Pig, but he's not that good either
-
Yes, you're the only one who thinks Trickster is op

This probably includes new players. You can't really criticize that someone who barely knows how to hit skill checks doesn't know that you need to keep solving the box, especially because for some reason this game doesn't have tutorials to play against each killer except for some useless loading tips.
I'm expecting another Pinhead nerf tbh. Low MMR Survivors artificially increased the kill rates, and then Pinhead got nerfed. It's going to happen again

Pinhead is decent killer. He is not weak. And he can make game pretty slow. I am not surprised he has high rates.
Decent is an overstatement. He's mediocre. His 1v1 is worse than Clown's, as it's way less consistent and the Chains break when they touch air molecules. His 1v4 is 90% in the Survivor's control and gets removed in 6 seconds for about 45 seconds
-
Do people still not know how to play against Pinhead?
-
There's a certain Perk that counters all of these problems, it's called skill
-
Hopefully not, that sounds terrifying
-
It's a good change, but I'd still want a range reduction
-
Someone had a bad game
-
Any M1 Killer on Badham Preschool, Haddonfield, Red Forest, R.P.D etc
-
NOED is fine. If the Killer is playing bad, you have time to cleanse Totems. If the Killer is applying pressure and not allowing you to cleanse Totems, then he played well
-
Discordance
Dead Hard
-
That goes for pretty much every M1 Killer, they're useless at high MMR
-
You're still hoping for a Dead Hard nerf?
-
Killers, I presume, started quitting ever since SBMM was introduced to the game

.... that is just wow. So, anything does correct. Ok, well tea-bagging/ flashlight clicking are strategy's to keep the killers attention, so nothing wrong with that. Leaving teammates to die, jumping in and out of lockers. All of these can be considered strategies, and I would say they are all toxic. If robbing a person of the ability to properly play a game is not toxic... then there is not much need to fix anything.
Clicking/t-bagging can be used to draw a Killer's attention, so yeah, they're strats aswell. Leaving teammates to die is, depending on the situation, a good/the best choice. Jumping in an out of Lockers isn't really useful under any circumstance, other than trying really hard to get a Killer's attention away, which usually doesn't work.
Camping isn't done to deny the ability for a Survivor to play the game, it's strategically protecting a Hook, usually done when there are important objectives around such as Generators and Hex Totems. There's nothing toxic about playing strategically, whether that be on the Killer or Survivor side

4 hits*
Dead Hard is base kit, dont forget.
I actually breathe a sigh of relief when I see a SB
Haven't seen Sprint Burst in a while, tho I can't imagine it's a sigh of relief when you see a Survivor sprint halfway across the map
-
Nemesis needs Survivors out of a game quickly, due to him requiring 3 hits per chase, plus 1 Vaccine per Survivor, which is hy tunneling is such an effective strategy for Nemesis
-
Nurse (without her Power), Hag (without her Power), Ji-Woon Hak

I salute that Nea

I like this concept a lot!
Although just to point out, the quote for Fredbear doll is from a game theory video so it probably couldn't be in the game xD
I know, I just thought it'd be funny

Why you gotta do the old man like that

I haven't seen a single bait Demogorgon post, you better update Not Bait and include the puppy

It is everything, really.
Every bad decision, every unnecessary change...everything.
Be it balance, graphics, killer design. It is all of it.
I do agree with you on the unnecessary changes, DbD has been getting a lot of those, especially this upcoming Mid-Chapter, but I don't really agree on balance being trash. DbD is probably in the second most balanced state it's ever been in, even with Dead Hard, Boon: Circle Of Healing, Medkits, Maps etc..
Killer design is what I'm split on, we have been getting a lot of antiloop Killers, but I feel like some of the most recent Killers have been really unique. Artist, Pinhead, Blight and Twins have been really cool and different. Even Nemesis had something going with him, those being Charlie and Margaret

The few things that make it worth it are already way too surrounded by countless layers of trash.
What are thse "layers of trash" that you're talking about? Do they have anything to do with the balance of the game or is it something else?

The game will not loose all of its players, though it certainly deserves to.
The game is not that bad
-
If Survivors had a "Tier 4" for their Teachable Perks, you'd only see Megs, Bills, Mikaelas, David and Lauries
-
I'd like Springtrap to be this:
DbD Chapter Concept : Fazbear's Fright New Killer: The Salvage A mechanical Killer, The Salvage is able to manifest his never ending will to live and his prior victims using his Power, Mechanical Genius Attributes Height: Tall Movement Speed: 4.6 Meters per second Terror Radius: 32 Met...A mobility Killer, able to disrupt Survivors with the help of his Phantoms
-
Survivors currently have it pretty easy, not sure why they'd want to leave
-
I've started playing a lot more sweaty ever since SBMM was released
-
Demogorgon: "Lemme just teleport her- and the Portal is gone, awesome"
-
Everyone loves Charlie and Margaret
-
Tunneling and camping are not toxic, they're strategies employed by Killers to win a game

Idk about head on needing skill but man does that perk make me rage when I play killer lmao
Head On is pretty hard to use properly. Using it mid chase for a quick Stun is meh but using it to save a fellow Survivor while being carried or stunning the Killer while he is chasing someone else is really good teamwork and really powerful.
Exhaustion Perks should be powerful Perks that require skill or map knowledge, which is why Dead Hard, Overcome and Sprint Burst are currently the best Exhaustion Perks, they don't need any of that or a very slight amount of it. If these 3 were toned down to the level of Lithe, Smash Hit and Head On, they'd still be useful and they will be more healthy for the game.
Balanced Landing would need a buff aswell, maybe increase it's speed boost for 0.5-1 second, tho I hope it won't happen when maps like Haddonfield exist.
-
It'd be cool if it were a base-kit feature with 150% regression, but that'd wouldn't work in current DbD
-
Lithe, Smash Hit and Head On are my favorite Exhaustion Perks as they require skillful use and reward good play. Balanced Landing would be good too if it wasn't as map reliant

nothing smart about camping. if you were smart you'd start cheating, since it's way more efficient at getting salt (which is the only reason why you'd subject yourself to such tedious gameplay).
Depends what type of camping you're talking about. Face-Camping, sure but proxy is definitely smart
-
Overall, the game is in the second best state it's ever been
-
Boons are fine, CoH can get removed from the game tho

Only because you want the 4k. If you play fair, you probably would have fun doing 2k on average. You can’t 4k as perkless pig against a death squad swf, but you only play against this people because you camp/tunnel
Yes, I want the 4k, I like winning. Playing fair means playing within the game's rules, which I am doing. I'm not being a script kiddie or abusing bugs and glitches, so I am playing fair, even if I am tunneling and camping, since playing smart/efficiently isn't agaisnt the game's rules
-
@dictep said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2755341#Comment_2755341
No, that’s wrong. Players who abuse camper and tunneling would wait more time to find a match, but good people will wait less than now
The good Killers are the ones that tunnel and camp or are playing Nurse/Blight/Spirit. Every other Killer needs to camp or tunnel against good Survivors
-
@dictep said:

But if you tunnel me I don’t want to play with you. Is this a problem for you? Don’t you have other friends?
Yes, it's a problem. If Survivors blocked every Killer who killed them, you wouldn't have a game anymore
-
Killers will tunnel and camp the weak link. Skill issue git gud
