It’s to the point where people throw insults at me under the comments section so I don’t even bother at this point.
I mean, you straight up called all Blight players brain dead. I'm not surprised

I mean my mind is set, and I know others even some people I know in real life that think he’s unbalanced. I don’t know the numbers on wins vs losses against blight but that doesn’t matter I’ve played against the killer and have played as him to know that he’s broken.
When you're starting a discussion with a closed mind, why even bother to discuss. You don't want to change your mind, you're just ignoring everything anyone has to say and stating your opinions as facts, when they're far from it. If you had proof to prove any of your opinions, maybe people would believe you

If survivors are so weak then how come the 4k rates for killers are so so high?
The stats that have been released y the devs are inaccurate. They take everything into account, low MMR, medium MMR and high MMR and calculate an average. The reason the kill rate average is so high is because there are way more players at low MMR, and at low MMR, the game is killer sided. The higher you go, the harder the game is for Killer
-
That won't balance the game

I mean.. that’s fine believe what you want it doesn’t really matter, I already said what I said.
What you're saying is contradictory.
I’ve lost to several and won against several. That’s doesn’t matter.
You can't call a Killer op when you've presumably won against him about as much as you've lost. That's called a balanced Killer

News flash, I have. In fact I’ve played every killer on the roster and put a good amount of time into them. Everyone on these forums thinks I’m the typical “survivor main” as they say yet they don’t realize I play both sides but I just prefer survivor. That being said, I’ve played blight and have pulled off everything I typed about and it’s ridiculously broken.
It's hard to believe what you say when almost everything you say is based on salt
-
Blight has a single exploit, and that's Lag Flick. Everything else is fair game, also you should play him before calling him easy

I'm surprised no one mentioned this guy

Every Exhaustion Perk should be on the level of Lithe, but Lithe itself shouldn't be base-kit. As you yourself stated, you got baited (outplayed) and then got hit, that's normal. Killers killing you is also normal, Survivors have been the stronger role for a while
-
@Tiufal said:
Its just shows killer entitlement. Killers are allowed to be annoying af to survivors, but if its the other way round the game is unplayable/broken and must be changed immediately. Double standards at its best.
New Boil Over has certain spots on maps that make it impossible to hook anyone. There's a difference between dying to an "unfun" tactic and something that makes it impossible to do your objective. Tunneling and camping still allow Survivors (plural as DbD is a team game, if someone dies and the rest of the team escaped, it's still a win) do do their objective
-
Atleast it's on sale, that must be fair....right?
-
I guess friends are not allowed anymore
-
Yes
-
This guy right here
-
What irks me with Boil Over, aside from the unhookable spots, is that wiggling off with it is not about coordination. Wiggling off of a Killer's shoulder requires good coordination and teamwork from the Survivors to be successful, Boil Over throws that put the window and punishes the Killer for taking shortcuts. Just go to a high place, or even basement stairs, and get free 25% wiggle progression
-
Yes, it's among the best Survivor Perks
-
Exclude all the legitimate PC players because of script kiddied? No

Can't low tier Killers ever catch a break?

I get it but really there's not much horror element anyways anymore.
I know, but having Killers monologing every time they get a down would get annoying really quickly
-
I don't play Pinhead, not my kind of Killer, but most people (myself included) think he's in a weak spot. Due to his high kill rate tho, I'm suspecting another nerf soon

Giving the survivors an entirely new non optional secondary objective means essentially every killer that is slightly good would need a nerf of some kind. Pig having passive slowdown? Insanely punishing and oppressive. Not even MENTIONING pinhead. All killers that are either good, or just bring good stuff essentially have an even easier time than they already do because they got passive slowdown for free. Option 2 would be the best choice really.
In terms of the killer base kit perks, corrupt would sound fine (doesn't really need reworked either, just make the passive time 90 seconds and the perk increases that time to 120) but ruin as a whole with just a slight reduction in speed would mean LOADS of perks need to be reworked. I think a better concept would to just make kicking a gen give the gen ruin level regression (200%). Ruin now doesn't need reworked either since it still gives the benefit of not needing to kick.
For the SoloQ changes as well, that would ALSO require loads of perks to be reworked. The new icon symbols they are working on look fine enough personally.
As I said, these are from last year or so, so Pinhead wasn't even a thing back then and I didn't really care how much this changed the game and how many Perks/Killers needed reworks as I knew it wouldn't be implemented, it was more for fun
-
It makes sense for Pinhead and I guess Trickster, but I rely don't want Killers to have too many voicelines, kinda takes away from the horror imo
-
It's fine, it only has 1 funky interaction with Mommy and that's it
-
You're not really complaining about Firecrackers are you
-
These are a tad old so take them with a grain of salt
SoloQ Changes
-Added a Ping System that allows communication during a Trial. The Ping System allows Survivors to tell their teammates they are working on a Generator, searching for (Insert Secondary Objective here), cleansing a Totem, being chased or going for a save.
-Repairing a Generator and pinging it will show the Generator's Aura with no range limit for as long as you remain on it (this will work the same with cleansing/blessing Totems).
-Pinging while in chase will show your Aura to your team for 15 seconds (same with going for saves or searching for Secondary Objectives).
These changes I feel would reduce the massive imbalance between SWF and SoloQ. Now, if Survivors would to get such a buff, Killers should get a few changes aswell.
Killer Changes
With this new efficiency within the Survivors, Killers should get some inbuilt slowdown.
Option 1
-Hex: Ruin will now be base kit with a slight nerf reducing the regression from 200% to 150% (Ruin would get a change to it's effect but I don't know what it should change to).
Option 2
-Corrupt Intervention would become base kit with a nerf to its duration taking it down from 120 seconds to 95 seconds (like Ruin above, Corrupt would get a rework).
Option 3
-Survivors would get new Secondary Objectives. Each Map/Realm will have their own reskins of said Secondary Objective.
-Every Generators/(Insert reskin here) will give Survivors 2 Gate Parts (1 per Survivor if there are 2, and if there are 3 or more, the Gate Parts will be randomly given to 2 of them) and will go into the Survivor Inventory(Gate Parts will go in an in-Trial inventory and won't take up Item slots, nor will the be able to be brought into the next Trial). If a Survivor dies, the Hook they died on will be shown in a white Aura, indicating that there are Gate Parts to be collected. If the Aura is missing, then the Gate Parts have already been collected or the Survivor never had any to begin with.
-After all Generators/(Insert reskin here) are finished, Survivors will have to come together to craft Gate Switches using the Gate Parts they have collected. 1 Gate Switch would require 5 Gate Parts to be crafted.
Re-Skins
-Autohaven Wreckers Maps will now have Car Engines instead of Generators. To fuel these Car Engines, Survivors will have to explore the map to find Gas Cans. Using a Gas Can will allow Survivors to work on 50% of a Car Engine, making it so it requires 2 Gas Cans to finish a Car Engine.
-MacMillan Maps will retain the basic Generators, requiring Gears to be found with the exception of Suffocation Pit.
-Suffocation Pit's Generators will now become Holes that require Shovels to be dug up.
-Coldwind Farm Maps will have Pig Pens as their Generators and will require Pig Food as their Gears. Generators inside Main Buildings/Shack will have TV's as their Generators and will require TV Remotes as their Gears. Bringing Pig Food to a TV will turn it into a TV Remote and vice versa.
Camping and tunneling could get a nerf but I have no idea how to nerf them.

I don’t know how people get kills camping it never works for me plus camping is boring. Unless you’ve got a tent 🤣
Camping usually works if you got a 3-Gen or anything else worth protecting (maybe a slug that's next to the Hook, a Hex Totem etc.) otherwise, it's an unreliable strat that punishes teamwork
-
It's unhealthy
-
I like it, but Artist has a "funny" interaction with it
-
Buff SoloQ to SWF level, then buff Killers accordingly and maybe rework tunneling and camping if Killers can win without those strats
-
I'm all for it, makes my job even easier

it's weird that all the CoH complaints just disappeared, all i see is people complaining about boil over now which is quite understandable, so that's why i'm wanting to ask
Do you think the CoH nerf was enough?
I mean, from my point of view, CoH is still a problem, but since I don't own the truth, I'm assuming the nerf was enough as I don't see any more complaints, if most agree that the nerf was enough then I'm in according to the change made.
Nice name. No one forgot about CoH, everyone knows how busted that Perk is but we know it's not going to get another nerf for about 6 months because of 'stats'.

Well, COH reduces genrushing
CoH promotes "genrushing" as it allows Survivors to be on multiple different Generators at the same it since it only required 1 person to heal up

How can Blight players be so creative and good at finding exploits

I don't even plan to use the perk but I just take issue with people complaining about something like Boil Over while having absolutely no issue with things that are more busted (Pain Resonance/Dead Man's Switch combo) or even worse, arguing about how "unfun" it is as if this community has even cared about "fun" in this game. If anyone here truly cared about fun, hey wouldn't slug or run things like "Sloppy" because it drags the game out or is boring to play against as most people are saying about Boil Over.
The arguments just fall flat because not many people here actually care about fun with the playstyles they encourage
PR/DMS isn't that bad. It's only somewhat oppressive on Artist when she's straight up facecamping. If DMS had a requirement of like being 12 meters away from a Hook to activate, it wouldn't be that bad

Sorry, just somewhat bitter over these last few updates:
- Pentimento being basically a non-perk, since it was added around the same time as Boons. Boons, which encourage Survivors to NOT Cleanse totems. Thus, a perk relying on Cleansing was added at the same time as anti-cleansing. Feels like a middle finger.
- CoH was seen to be OP, still added. 'Will be looked at'. Sure.
- CoH was 'nerfed'. The nerf SOUNDS big (25%) but it's 4 seconds. This feels like ANOTHER slap to Killers; just something done to appease them while carefully not removing the problems with the perk.
- And now Boil Over; seen as a problem on the PTB. Still brought over live. Yet another ANOTHER slap to Killers.
Even if it's not actually true; the optics of these last few updates paint a loud 'We don't care about Killers' picture.
I know, it definitely feels pretty bad right now, but it's not overall that bad. Individually, some Killers have been hit hard recently, but overall, Killers are doing semi well, better than usual. Just because it, one point (Mid-Chapter of September 2021), was better doesn't mean that it's not that good now

Because Survivors love their OP perks while screaming to nerf NoED and yelling that the game and forums are clearly Killer-sided. 🙃
I generally agree with your posts, but constantly spewing out 'Us vs Them' posts doesn't fix anything. It's just annoying
-
It's both a mediocre Perk with meager effect and an unbalanced, unhealthy unhookable mess. One game it can do nothing and in the other one, you don't get hooked the entire game

It's a game in terms of it actually looks like a game and seems to have more effort in it than still images and video files being played. It looks like they actually modeled things, you know? And did more than make some badly done 3D characters in an extremely outdated version of blender. I can't say anything about how good the game is. I am saying it looks closer to an actual game you'd see in a store, rather than a game that you'd see on newgrounds.
Like it could be awful. But it sure looks like it took a lot more effort than FNAF1, even if it sucks. Was all I really meant.
I'm terms of effort, maybe. I might be wrong on this but every 2D FNaF game had 3D models rendered in 2D (if that makes sense) so there was still some modeling taking place. In terms of gameplay? Not even close

Never seen anyone try to tell me DBD is the greatest horror game ever made or one of the greatest games of the past 10 years. I have FNAF fans telling me FNAF is, though. Which probably irritates people due to FNAF being lower effort than Newgrounds games from 07. It boils down to basically being a still image with a series of simon says/qte like events occuring. If you miss one, the game then pauses to load jumpscare.mp4 That's it. That's the whole game when you boil it down. Still background images that you can go through with security cameras, some QTE like events you must do or lose, and then the game playing a jumpscare video file when you fail.
Kind of annoys people when you have a ton of people telling you THAT is one of the greatest horror games ever. Borders on offensive, even, if you really like the genre. Hey you know what is an infinitely better horror game from the past decade, that was also made by like one guy? Phasmophobia. And it actually has gameplay besides "DO THIS OR A JUMPSCARE PLAYS AHHHH." I probably wouldn't get annoyed if I didn't genuinely have lots of people telling me these low effort games are deserving of awards and such. You can like something while admitting it's not a great example of quality in its medium.
Granted some of the later games such as security breach actually have effort put into them. Enough I can consider them an actual game and not a newgrounds tier flash.
I agree on FNaF being a jumpscare simulator a lot of the time, but you did not just call SB a "game". That "thing" has about the same amount of bugs and glitches Cyberpunk had on release, has no lore in a lore driven series, gameplay is just fetch quests and the "main villain" of the game appears thrice in the whole "game", while shoehorning an already dead villain for no reason other than fan service which no one actually wanted, seeing as he died about 5 games ago

I am sure they care about potential sales more so than that. They'll just say Freddy is now an adult and be done with it, like they have for various licensed characters they have no authority to age up.
FNaF is a game series carried by it's lore. If they tamper with it and make any changes that go over the already existing narrative other than "This is how <insert character> entered The Fog", I'm not sure hw nicely that'd be treated by that big portion of the community, especially if it's as big as "Freddy is now an adult, yet still somehow got lured and killed by a man in a weird bunny suit, guess he was just dumb"
