What was the upgrade of old discordance? Like was it like 64/48/32, or something like that?
Old Discordance didn't have a range requirement. The duration of the noise notification was the thing that was buffed every Tier
-
@Tryharder said:
Discordance never fails me most of the time. Sure tier 3 is worst then tier 1 but it’s still kinda good
How is Tier 3 Discordance worse than Tier 1? It has a bigger range

It allows you to do the ultra fake because the killer might think you faked the window but really you are on the other side laughing at them
Q&Q can be really mean on indoor maps

So putting one survivor (any one survivor, at that) into the dying state is "multiple conditions" to you? Or is it that you don't think jolt is powerful?
To reiterate, a perk that has multiple conditions to activate (as in, more than one) that isn't powerful (as in, doesn't do much)
Scourge Hook: Floods Of Rage
You have to chase someone, down them, carry them to a Scourge Hook, and then wait for the unhook for the Perk to activate, at which point you would've already been in a chase so the info would've been pretty useless
-
Voted for the wrong thing, I meant to vote for "Yes (Killer POV)"
Slowdown Perks are necessary when you're not playing Nurse and when you're going against Survivors that want to win
-
The Perk is fine, but a buff it could, and in my opinion should, get is that it only loses a Token whenever a Survivor loses a Health State, not when an "aggressive action" takes place. I'd love to try it out on Demogorgon but even breaking a Pallet with Shred wastes a Token

Yes that's all I'm asking. I'm glad someone else agrees it's bad lol.
I can't tell you how many chases have been extended just because the aim "assist" decided to snap my neck 90° to the left and hit a tree
-
That's what happens when you don't run Corrupt Intervention
-
Yes for the love of God please let us turn it off!
-
Isn't that reportable?
-
Try and play as ruthlessly as possible. Tunnel, camp and slug when needed to create as much pressure as possible

Oh he's good at zoning yes, if you think he needs a hard nerf in that area then by all means suggest it.
I don't think he needs a nerf to his zoning, neither does Pyramid Head, as his zoning is worse

You have the ability to put a pallet down and he can't hit you through it so it's fine to me cause there is counterplay.
I don't think you've played as/against Demogorgon enough to understand how good his zoning is

Mine is that hatch should be replaced with a better endgame mechanic.
100% this, yes
-
Here are some of mine:
- The game has overall a pretty high skill floor but a really low skill ceiling
- Demogorgon is A tier
- SoloQ is fine, it's bad Survivors that are dragging it down, not SoloQ itself being weak
- Artist is fun to verse and to play as
- Hex: No One Escapes Death is mediocre Perk and gets easily countered
- Camping, slugging, tunneling show more game knowledge than going for 12 Hooks

Nurse and Blight cooldowns are where they should be and other killers are far too behind. Even 6-10s is sizable especially in the hands of better players. Other killers have 15-30+ for mistakes or losing a trade, which is absolutely absurd. Every single second is worth 4x that much to the survivors. 10 seconds is 40 net seconds.
Your time as a Killer is not always 4x more worth, it depends on how many Survivors are doing gens, so it's usually around 2-3x more important
-
Having counterplay is good, having hard counters that deny a whole Power is not good
-
Demogorgon
- Corrupt Intervention
- Call Of Brine
- Barbecue And Chili
- Pop Goes The Weasel
I swap BBQ for Enduring if I don't need BP.
Artist
- Hex: Thrill Of The Hunt
- Hex: Ruin
- Hex: Undying
- Hex: Pentimento
You could swap TOTH for Hex: Plaything if you want more Pentimento stacks instead of Boon slowdown.
EDIT: A more consistent build would probably be:
- Hex: Ruin
- Corrupt Intervention
- Hex: Plaything
- Hex: Pentimento
-
- BM
- Cheat
- Play Freddy

The map was quite good for stealth, which is an option more and more rare in this game. I know thats because a part of the playerbase dont like it, but for some, like me, its the reason to play the game.

It had it's moments. It was great vs anti loop killers, Nurse, and Blight, and shoved stealth killers into the Realm of being actually strong. Just completely flipped the meta on it's head and I like that for it.
I don't think hurting Killers with mobility/ranged Powers so stealth Killers could shine was a good thing.

It looked great and had a cool atmosphere. I really liked it.
I don't even think it looked all that well, it was bland imo. Only interesting part about it was the Portal room

Yeah, you lost me when you called Demogorgon's Shred "pathetic". If you're going to talk about something, atleast know what you're talking about

A while ago there was a bug with Spirit Fury+Enduring that allowed you to just walk through the pallet basically.
I saw it a lot when I played Demo. Charge up a Shred, go to pallet, pallet breaks on head, no stun.
I'm pretty sure it's still in the game. It's fun catching Survivors off-guard with it
-
Play Demogorgon. You still have the Trapper feel with Portals, and now you can even reliably deal with loops
-
Wouldn't making her Blinks count as Special Attacks be a buff more than a nerf? If Nurse can't use Perks that work with M1s, why shouldn't she just stack slowdown Perks?
-
How can people miss Hawkins. I can't remember a single good thing about the Map
-
@IronKnight55 said:
She needs nerfs. I've been saying this since she released.
Why, exactly? There's nothing nerf worthy about her

DMS already has a cooldown, it's called getting a Hook

I mean, his power is his already anti-loop. His bonus free ability to zone on top of that is equivilant to Spirit's old stand still "tech". Run to a loop, he puts his sword down and follows you until you either drop the pallet or you keep running into his goo or away from the loop to a dead zone. It's a win/win for the killer and a zero for the survivor. The canceling is not long enough, the twins got a harder nerf in that department.
Should Demogorgon get nerfed aswell? He can zone as well if not better than PH

The fps/input latency on Switch has more variance than the size of the skill check. In other words, there is no way to consistently hit the DS skill check. No amount of skill can help when the timing changes and the success area lasts for one, maybe two frames. Skill is not involved; it's RNG.
Consoles need optimization, yes, but that doesn't mean removing the DS Skill-Check because the devs are too lazy to fix consoles
-
More Killers. Every new map we've gotten weren't even close to being balanced, so I'd rather we get new Killers
-
We've reached a point where we can't even hit a Skill-Check. Wow
-
The devs are 100% going to nerf Mommy in an upcoming Chapter, maybe even in the Anniversary Chapter

It's a problem when it doesn't work. I think I had much more consistent matches with the emblem system tbh.
Although that grade based test a few days ago was actually terrifying. The game sent me to face full meta killers with 5-10 hour survivors on my team
That's the fault of the devs focusing on queue times more than balanced matches, which it seems like they are trying to fix
-
SBMM isn't, and has never been, a problem. It just showed the true unbalance of the game

Only as a SWF. As solo in a regular public match it isn't possible. If it was the "easiest" competitive role why is that I'm almost always seeing survivors losing and killers winning?
I think it is way easier for killers.
Maybe because you and your team are bad?
-
The game already has win conditions, escaping and killing
-
Ok?

I uninstalled because I have no motivation to play right now and all the stuff happening with the game. I’m not excited for the midchapter, the next chapter, or the 6th year event. I just want to feel happy gaming again. Also I’m not leaving Spirit. I may not play DBD but I won’t be leaving her nor will she leave me :3
I hope the game will be captivate your interests in the future again

1627.5 of being 50/50 on both sides. Maybe a little more killer because of Spirit's existence.
Although, I uninstalled yesterday so it'll be stuck on 1627.5 for a while :))))
Why did you uninstall, if you don't mind me asking. As much as I dislike Spirit, seeing you uninstall means there's barely anyone left to advocate for people to play Spirit
-
Last time I checked I had around 1000h, if not a bit higher
80/20 Killer/Survivor split, maybe 90/10
Can't check but I'd wager I have over 100 hours on Demogorgon

Actually, I'd say that the killer meta is more varied than it's ever been.
Yes, it involves some form of regression or blocking, but you'll see:
Ruin+Undying
Deadlock
Corrupt
CoB
Pop
PR
PR+DMS
PR+Agi
Surge
Penti+Plaything
Often mixed and matched together.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2904332#Comment_2904332
I see far more PR+DMS, Ruin+Undying+CI and now CoB+Pop than I do Deadlock.
Deadlock is popular because it's fire and forget, and allows you to stock up on more offensive or info perks than other builds which generally require at least 2 slots for regression (sometimes 3 with CI).
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2904503#Comment_2904503
I think the blocking builds are starting to fade out in favor of hard regression. Blocking builds are good as a stall, but can sometimes result in a lot of gens popping very quickly later.
I know I've moved over to CoB+Pop, Plaything+Penti and PR+Agi on a lot of killers now.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2904675#Comment_2904675
I've also seen an annoying...thing develop around CI.
Basically, rather than trying to force gens, survivors hide, set up boons etc. and just wait it out - meaning that it's almost a wasted slot and just prolongs the game.
The only killers I run it on are Trapper and Hag, due to their setup requirement.
I love Corrupt on Demogorgon, gives me time to set up important Portals for a 3-Gen safely

respect and respecting others....who knows, maybe you will ever understand...even in online games where not everyody is going to be good or great in.
I respect people who acknowledge they're not that good at the game but don't want the game balanced around them

lets just end it here Demo.....no getting trough to you it seems, in the end people who want to play for fun will leave, and what remains.....you can fill that out yourself.
People who play for fun already left/are at the bottom of the SBMM barrel.
Yes, you're not getting through me because you're complaining about it being able to easily win, while also being bad at the game

Huh? That's literally what Deadlock counters. You run Corrupt/Deadlock, hook inside your Corrupt and facecamp. It's physically impossible to do more than 2 gens by the time the survivor dies.
It doesn't counter splitting up on Generators, it counters multiple Survivors on 1 Generator.
Let's look at a scenario with efficient Survivors:
- Killer (K), chases Survivor A
- Survivors B, C and D work on 3 different Generation
- K downs and hooks A
- Generator B gets finished, C gets blocked at ~75%, Generator D is ~60%
- B goes for a save, D finishes his Generator
- A gets healed, K chases D, C gets finished
3 different Generators already finished with 1 Hook, with Corrupt and Deadlock

its the way not the outcome get it? me and lots of players dont mind dying.....but the amount of games your getting where your not even getting a single gen to 40% is just...........
You've already said your bad at the game, so I don't doubt you can't even get Generators to 40%, but the game shouldn't be balanced around your inability to play well
