They'll reduce the extra movement speed bonus from hitting multiple Survivors

It's not considered an escape on MMR. Who it affects the most are Killers by allowing them to disregard a kill in MMR.
I don't really care what SBMM thinks. A Survivor will lose MMR if they die, while 3 other Survivors escape.
If a Survivor escaped through Hatch after their team died, they got a pity escape for losing

Most likely.
I run Black Heart and Barbs Glasses, STBFL and Infectious Fright. So very chase-orientated and while Demo does not have an Instadown, being next to a Demo with 8 Stacks STBFL and screaming due to Infectious Fright is not the best position a Survivor can be in.
Being next to a Demogorgon is never a good position

@EntitySpawn said:
"Best" is always subjective, I did use it for a time but I ended up swapping it out. I think when blight go released I started playing demo more differently
What do you mean by "differently"?
-
@sizzlingmario4 said:
I almost always use STBFL when I play him. You pretty much already said it - it’s easy to maintain stacks by shredding the obsession and/or quickly get an m1 into a shred.
You shouldn’t really neglect your shred just to get stacks, you just get your stacks over time. If you need the shred to hit someone then you use the shred.
I don’t really find that survivors realizing you have it matters all that much as it’s so commonly used on him that they tend to expect it by default as if it were a meta perk. Personally the moment I see demo I just assume he has STBFL unless I clearly see that he doesn’t.
Is it his absolute “best perk”? I’m not sure, but it is definitely good and he is one of the best killers at using it.
I think it mostly comes down to playstyle, just like @Chewy102 said.
I play a defensive Portal oriented build, so I don't focus on aggressive chase Perks, but when I do, I usually run Enduring to help me create Dead-Zones faster.
Maybe that's why I don't see STBFL's strength, because it doesn't fit my playstyle
-
@Warcrafter4 said:
Part of the reason why you take STBFL is that it lets you win nearly every single hook interaction as M1 into shred counters BT and M1 at max stacks is faster then the unhook so they can't even hook trade vs demo.
This even applies while carring a survivor as you effectively can't be safely body blocked.
Plus who doesn't like a hyper doggo barking.
I didn't think of that, fair point.
Denying unhooks is pretty powerful, and the puppy barks are a nice plus
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
- "Black Heart, a Common rarity Add-on, does it's job better, without needing to gather Stacks, and applies it to your Shred instead of M1s"
This is why you run Black Heart AND STBFL. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Seems like a waste of a Perk Slot
-
@Chewy102 said:
You already said it. Shred is a very useful power and allows Demo to get full effect out of STBFL with near zero downsides when every other Killer has to deal with losing stacks and can end up with a wasted perk slot.
Shred when useful, M1 when needed, and both only get stronger as the game goes on.
But Shred is almost always useful.
There's only 2 situations I can think of where going for an M1 would be more useful than going for a Shred, those being: when the distance to a Window or a Pallet is to short to charge a Shred.
Other than those 2 instances, going for a Shred is always better than an M1, especially with Black Heart
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Why's it used so often? Haha puppy go woof.
Fair enough
-
@Glaive said:
I personally dropped it when he got his addon pass, I can use the perk slot for something else and use black heart instead, I’m constantly using shred anyway, thought the recovery isn’t as fast, it’s good enough to replace it.
I didn't use it even before his Add-on pass, Enduring was more useful imo

I've done that esp recently lol. Do you practice singing often?
No, I'm bad at singing
-
It's not worth it, but I still prestige characters for some reason
-
Sometimes.
More often I'll start singing randomly
-
Inconsistent, unless you're using UB/SG to get an easy escape during EGC
-
No.
Killer still hasn't lost once all 5 Generators have been finished

Nurse.
Duh

BT is a teacheable though...
Yes, I know
-
I don't think Teachable Perks should be made base-kit, but the Perks I'd like to see would be Borrowed Time and Hex: No One Escapes Death, or Corrupt Intervention if it has to be a Teachable Perk

Hah. I always worried that I was super loud - but it's barely perceptible from the survivor POV. Still could do with a tweak to his personal ambient sound, I'll agree on that.
But let's see (I have a lot of 'mains').
Hag: Phantasms summoned by Scarred Hand last 50% longer.
Cenobite: You cannot break your own chains.
Plague: The corrupted fountain you start with will always spawn in the most central position possible.
Onryo: Yeesh...
- Old Newspaper is made baseline.
- TV spawn logic improved to always be facing the corresponding generator and not be on different floors, behind walls etc.
Demogorgon: Using Shred while channeling From The Abyss will now perform a standard attack if it fails (currently it just cancels).
Myers: The aura of survivors within 10m are visible while in tier 3.
Wraith: Lightburn effect removed.
Nemesis: If a zombie is immobile for 20 seconds, it will automatically respawn.
Trapper: All traps will begin the match activated.
Artist: Swarmed survivors colliding with a stationary dire crow will be treated as if they were struck by a dire crow.
Doctor: Shocks are now validated on the killer side.
Ghostface: Night Shroud regenerates 50% faster while crouched.
Pig: Combat Straps and Workshop Grease are made baseline. Using these addons will apply a cumulative effect.
Spirit: The effects of Stridor are applied baseline while phased (to help us hard of hearing folks out).
Pyramid Head: The BP gain effects of BBQ are applied when sending a survivor to a cage.
You could also remove all the map wide audio queues from Demogorgon, aside from the teleport one

I was being sarcastic.
It was honestly pretty jarring to suggest throwing the game.
It's a usual Tuesday

Seems legit.
Not really
-
Decisive Strike is fine, it doesn't need any further changes
-
What if Stridor increased the breathing sounds by a further 50%/75%/100% after a Survivor gains the Exhaustion Status Effect, along with your proposed changes?

Currently i´m testing my performance with 2 and 3 gen slowdown perks. Because without them its kinda... uhh yeah... impossible.
Just don't lose Generators, not hard

Sure doesn't look like it. Play a game of survivor where you get facecamped to death from the start of the match and see how fun that is, and to add salt to the wound, let's say you're one pip away from going to Gold 4 from Silver 1 (massive difference in bloodpoint reward when rank reset hits) and then you depip for "not playing well enough".
I don't get Face-Camped because the Killers I go against know that Face-Camping isn't a good strategy
-
@Tsulan said:

Especially without gen slowdown.
With a D tier Killer or lower, not even slowdown will get you more than that against good Survivors

Have you played a single game of survivor in your life?
Yes

Just don't start a chase

It really wasn't that op I saw a bunch of good wraiths get steam rolled at loops I even got steam rolled some times at loops back than. People kinda overreacted to Wraith back than sure all seeing was strong back than as well and that 1.25 second speed was in the game for awhile even before all his buffs and even than with his buffs he still wasn't all super strong at loops.
I was making a joke about the reason the devs nerfed Wraith

Probably 2 hooks during the whole match.
That happens sometimes
-
Context?
-
Both Nurse and Blight can go overboard with their Add-ons. Aside from that, they're fine
-
Hitting a Shred while blinded by a Flashlight is the easiest way to get a Survivor to D/C

Bring back 1.25 seconds on Wraiths uncloak speed that's all I'd say for him.

Lovely buff.
A lot of Survivors would cry if this came into the game, because they wouldn't have their free pity escape anymore

Demogorgon doesn't need a big buff, he's fine as is

I want a Killer that's able to evolve throughout The Trial.
It'd be even better if it was an Alien Chapter

I don't think Prime rewards should exist, atleast not full-on new skins.
Recolors of already existing ones? Sure.
Completely new skins that are behind a subscription? That's not cool
