I think that's the best option. It keeps current Dead Hard in the game, but with a major downside (which is also telegraphed).
I would personally turn Dead Hard into Overcome for Your Friends. Taking a protection hit gives your nearby injured teammates a speed boost, making it easier for them to peel so you can take aggro
Your 'Overcome for Your Friends' is pretty good, and fits really well with We're Gonna Live Forever

Nerf Blight to 105%, which would force players to rely on his power more for ending chases. His power is already toxically strong and simple to use right out of the box.
That would force the Blight to be a lot more difficult to use, which would make sense since he's the 2nd more power Killer. He should be about as hard to use as Nurse.
Ease of use = nerfs?
Reduce the base Survivor movement speed to 80% then

Just don't run it on Demogorgon

Of course I know how it works. Do you know how generators work? They don't progress while you're waiting for the killer to hook someone and then send birds. So now I should run away from the gen, wait for birds, then run back, then leave again in another 10 seconds when she throws more birds?
And this accomplishes nothing more than my previous scenario. Killer gets free pressure without leaving the hook.
I wouldn’t call losing ~11% of Generator progress and ~30 seconds worth of Generator blockage "free pressure"

Then you're giving her the same effect as DMS, not progressing the gen.
So a teammate goes down, I get off the gen, then back on after hook. I get maybe 5 seconds of progress before she sends a bird. Maybe stay on another 5 seconds before I'm forced to leave. Now it's blocked for 35 seconds. Running to another gen (that may already be blocked as well) takes 15 seconds or so. Now my teammate is halfway to 2nd stage and I've done a grand total of 10 seconds of objective progress. While the killer has done nothing but camp and throw birds. And this is fine??
Have you every played against an Artist with DMS? You don't get on the Generator after she hooks a Survivor, you get on it after she already sent her birds.
If you're going to complain about something, at least know how it even functions

You can only do it while your injured, while Speed Burst you can do while your are injured or while you are healthy.
So you buffed Dead Hard to be an on-demand Sprint Burst with a single "downside" (not really)

how can you say punishment is worse than shred? that just makes no sense to me. can shred pass through walls?
Shred has a faster charge time, there's no slowdown when canceling it and has a longer range

She sends birds after hooking so either you don't do the gen while she camps, or the gen would block when you dodge the birds. Either way you can't make meaningful gen progress before someone is out of the match.
Yes, which is why you get off the Generator and only get on it after she sends birds

How is it exactly "easy to counter" when she can force you off gens while also camping the hook? DMS update was a terrible idea when Artist exists.
Get off the Generator before she sends birds, and get back on it after she sent birds, and you now wasted 12 seconds of DMS and got 15% progress on a Generator

Ah, of course.
An anti-loop killer with 115% speed, a ranged attack that can penetrate walls and survivors, a low cooldown (unlike the artist), and tunneling abilities, hmm...
Meanwhile, Spirit who only have one power, which is negated by pallets, windows, and Iron will.
Yes, spirit is undeniably stronger (not).
PH doesn't have mobility, and his tunneling capabilities are usually only available if Survivors make mistakes

Tell me what's spirit base movement speed again?
110% with a Power that increases her movement speed and makes her invisible.
PH is 115% with a Power that isn't hard to dodge and that is about on par with Demogorgon's (I'd say it's worse)

It's not on the survivor if they can or cannot drop the pallet, its on Pyramid Head, once you go through that pallet or window you're already in a good position to get hit and if you try to circle around he'll just catch up. Pressing W and leaving the loop is the only good answer.
So just ShiftW, he's not near Spirit in terms of strength, he's just a good low A tier Killer
-
@Plsfix369 said:
He's too powerful though with relatively low skill floor, on par with Spirit but more Tunnel-y, give him a strong add on and he's going to be more powerful than Spirit(w/ mother daughter ring and purple amulet), which would just be plain terrible to deal with. (with spirit you can drop pallet and predict movement, but with PH you won't even get to that pallet.)
You can dodge his POTD pretty easily if you just look at the floor, unless you outpositioned yourself and tried to loop PH at a T&L wall

Worst Steve skin

I think Residual Manifest is better than Pharmacy because of 4 reason:
- You can just bring an Emergency Med-Kit to get a quick heal, no need to waste time searching a Chest
- Emergency Med-Kits without Add-Ons aren't that good
- CoH does Pharmacy's job of being a quick heal better, and can be used by all Survivors
- Blindness is a strong effect to use against the Killer, as they won't be able to see Generator/Survivor Auras, which are needed to play Killer effectively

I hope they nerf those add-ons and make them all bad
Same, the devs gotta be consistent, they can't leave 3/20 Add-Ons remain good when the remaining Add-Ons are bad
-
@Regulus47 said:
I don't think an A tier killer who can tunnel you out of the game in a minute needs busted addons. He's already got 3 range addons, a haemorrhage addon, an oblivious addon, a wallhack addon, 3 goop duration addons... that's 9/20 addons that are good. We don't want another nurse or blight where the base killer is busted and the addons make them unstoppable.
His only good Add-Ons are his range ones, the rest are really bad
-
Charlie and Margaret
-
There needs to be an easier way to get Tokens
-
I'd give No Mither Dead Hard's effects (I-Frames and dash), and rework Dead Hard from the ground up
-
It's not, it's pretty weak
-
I main the cool Freddy, that being Demogorgon
-
That's the most 'meh' build I've ever seen
-
While Nurse's skill-ceiling is heavily exaggerated, she is the hardest Killer to pick up.
I'll do you one better.
Dead Hard = balanced

Are Killers not supposed to play efficiently during an event or what?

Is it the pallet breaking part of C33 or the hindering? Or is it both?
The instant Pallet breaking with no downside

Yeah that’s why survivors go down immediately after dead Harding.
I get it you don’t like the perk. That’s not a reason to say it is 1v1ing a killer. Maybe YOU are the one who feels that way because you can’t manage. So learn to manage.
No need to make your inability to play the game well that obvious
-
I don't think they're an issue, Alchemist Ring and Compound Thirty-Three need nerfs however

It depends. If the developers are taking the 50% kill rate across all levels of play (which is the data the developers gave us), then you are right. However, if the developers are breaking the kill rate down by skill-level (which the developers have not given us), then you wouldn't be right.
I would hope the developers break it down by skill level, then make adjustments, but I don't know.
I truly hope the show us kill rates at high MMR, it wouldn't surprise me to see the majority of Killers under the 50% mark

If you are getting 3ks on average, doesn't that mean that even with Dead Hard, survivors need buffs?
If we're going by the devs' logic, no, Trickster is fine. Nurse and Trickster are the only Killers with a kill rate below 50%.
If we're going by a normal player's logic, still no, Trickster never has been a good Killer, and probably never will be.
His chases take too long if Survivors ShiftW/use tiles with high walls, and he has no mobility or any way to pressure Survivors other than being situationally oppressive if Survivors are unlucky and get found in a Dead-Zone
-
@Johnny_XMan said:
It is a popular perk that works as a chase extender. Aka what it is meant for.
If there was another perk that also worked during close-up chases rather than to gain long distances you would see it used as well.
We need more perks like DH because otherwise the meta turns to playing it extremely safe and holding W. Which can be unfun.
No, we don't need more Perks that let the Survivor 1v1 the Killer
-
I use whatever BP Offering I have
-
Midwich is probably the best Map for Killers. You can do well on it with pretty much every Killer, even Hillbilly can use his Power on it, unlike other indoor Maps
-
This 100%.
Hooked On You will be a failure just because Mommy isn't in it. Had she been in it, the game would've been more popular than DbD itself
-
Played with @GamerEzra once, and against @legacycolt twice, tho that only applies if they share the same username on the Forums and DbD
-
The aim-assist or aim-dressing or whatever the devs named this thing. I've had entire games lost because I missed a hit because to this stupid mechanic that forced me to hit a rock instead of the Survivor
-
I hope we get either Carlos or Ada (or both), but I'm not expecting much, RE Part 1 was a big failure imo, so Part 2 won't be better
-
It just needs a reduction from 100% to 90%
-
I still can't find a logical reason he got nerfed
-
Freddy.
There's nothing unique about him, he's just a weaker Demogorgon
-
Making out with Demogorgon is a bad thing?
-
Artist, Demogorgon, Oni and Onryō are Killers I generally have fun playing, and I recently picked up Nurse and found mild success
-
Dio as Oni
-
That's a very unfair deal (NOED isn't that good, while DH is the most overpowered Perk in the game), but I'll take it

So you're saying average survivor is bad? Even good survivors miss their dh occasionally. So you want it to be balanced around those who has played 2000+ hours? Even lot of those survivors are still pretty average or some even bad...
Yes, I'm saying the game should be balanced around the Survivors that can reliably press a single button and not run into a wall
