As far as I know you don't even have the game installed. You produced the most ridiculous post I have ever read:
ThatOneDemoPlayer Posts: 3,886
A normal chase, without Dead Hard lasts about 45 seconds, that's 56.25% worth of Generator time. If the Survivor wiggles off, the Killer has to waste about 15-30 seconds again, depending on if the Survivor plays well or not. That's, 1 minute or more, which is 75% of a Generator. If wiggling off only requires 1 extra Survivor, that's 2 Generators about to pop.
If wiggling off required 2 Survivors, then only a single Generator would've been about to pop, which would be more fair, as when 2 or more Survivors decide to sabotage Hooks and take hits, the Killer can't do anything about it other than dropping the Survivor, which will lead to a quick pick up later on
I mean, someone who says this can't even own the game.
You don't like numbers?
Also keep in mind those numbers are a bit low, 45 seconds for a chase is a bit of an understatement and is based on a Survivor playing unsafe, and only then playing safely, and the second chase is a big understatement, as it only includes the amount of time it takes to chase the wiggled off Survivor, if other Survivors didn't try to take a hit for them, which usually isn't the case and wiggled off Survivors get hits taken for them pretty often, extending that chase time even more

But she doesn't. Because her very "perfect design" according to you, goes against every mechanic and her drawbacks are not nearly enough to justify her powers.
Base-kit Nurse has enough drawbacks to where she can't win against equally skilled Survivors if she doesn't play well.
Her base-kit Fatigue lasts long enough to where Survivors can get a lot of distance off of 1 miss, ShiftW is a pain against her, playing unpredictably will mess a Nurse up and losing LOS will mess her up aswell

And we're back to saying you can find a totem, bless it, and heal in 24,3 seconds (it went up from 23 seconds)
And we're back to you taking the time it takes to bless a Totem into the healing process, as if you're only blessing a Totem when you need the heals, which tells me you have no idea how to even use the Perk, and are probably the type of Survivor to Self-Care in a corner.
EDIT:
Blessing takes 14, and getting to the Totem after getting hit takes about 2-4 seconds, so it's better than Self-Care, as it takes around 24.3 seconds
I never said I can heal in exactly 23 seconds, I said the heal takes around 24.3 seconds, so you might want to check your eyes, and memory aswell

By the way, you can have my profile again because I know you're in love with it.
Yes, base-kit, not including Add-Ons, which is correct.
A good Nurse, without Add-Ons, has an equal chance at winning against equally skilled Survivors

Please tell me, in which world is a 32 second heal better than a ~24.3 second heal?

And I don't agree with it. You say Nurse is perfect, and I say she's the most unfair and broken killer in the game.
You say CoH is better than Self Care, and I say it's not.
Though you said your opinions are facts, I'm afraid I'll continue being against those facts.
You are, once again, using words you don't understand. Here's the definition of perfect:
Neither @SuzuKR, nor @StarLost said Nurse is perfect, but here you are putting words in their mouth you don't even understand the definition of

I mean, you still have an inflated ego, with your constant reposts of your steam profile showcasing you're "amazing" amount of hours.
And yes, your opinion on Self-Care being better than CoH is made up of subjective experiences, not factual data

Inserting a Tape is faster than the Killer successful attack cooldown, so yes it's possible to do it mid-chase, and you're even rewarded for it

Its still situational and circumstantial. That view is based on the assumption 1 is picking up and 2 are on generators. You also have to factor in daily rituals, rift challenges and pretty much every other reason the other survivors are there for. Its why there will probably never be a widely accepted balance in this game by the community.
if the Survivor team is efficient
If we're taking every single circumstance, then we might aswell take the time of day into consideration

@Sumnox said:

... But that's why I specifically said there might be objectives there. You can't outplay the RNG of DBD. That's like me saying "If you get outplayed by survivors, you're bad"
What survivors? randoms or SWF? Map? Killer?
There's a million factors. Then again, if you say "this survivor is bad", because 99% of survivors are bad, you're probably gonna be correct most of the time.
I wouldn’t say 99% of Survivors are bad, at least 10% of Survivors actually know how to play the game

@Sumnox said:

"If you get outplayed by Nurse you're bad"
That's a very broad and ambiguous statement, then again, most of what you say falls into that category. For example, in open dead zones with no LOS breakers, if any decent Nurse catches you, you're most likely going down. Sometimes you're healing someone/cleansing a totem/repairing, whatever. Doesn't necessarily mean you're bad or the Nurse is good. There's RNG situations to this game nobody can predict.
If you get caught in a Dead-Zone that doesn't have any objectives, like Generators or Totems, and then get found by a Nurse, and then proceeded to die, you played badly. There was absolutely no reason for you to be in there, but you were and you got punished for it

"not everyone" what? are u real? when was the last time you didnt see a nurse playing double recovery OR recovery + distance? again get your facts real everybody plays with addons and the strognest ones specially when they are so cheap like nurse, literally his best addons are from Yellow to green, with one exception purple distance....
"u are not supposed to 1 v 1 the killer" im tired of this argument of course you are not supposed to run the killer for 5 gens that doesnt mean killers shouldnt have clear counterplays that more often than not get to almost 0 or 0 when paired with some very strong addons that actually makes the experience more than frustrating to go against... u are not supposed to run the killer for 5 gens but neither go down in 15 seconds after getting hit, cause the amount of distance you make after getting hit is meaningless agaisnt certain killer powers like Nurse and Blight with addons and even without them at times.- about the bad spot, i wasnt talking about getting found in the middle of nowhere injured where nothing is to be found (even if that is related to RNG sometimes you get good stuff and some others there is nothing to be found, structures, pallets, nothing) was talking about being in certan low structures where ranged killers can easily outplay them and with DH you can make a play without it you are dead cause the structure is to low for killers like huntress, Nemesis, deathslinger and others so you can actually do something, you didnt ######### up u found a pallet or structure but is meaningless compared to the killers power and thats why i think DH is way more than fine specially with many of the killers powers.
the last thing im not even gonna bother, is like you are new to the game or something or jsut way to into killer main or nurse in especific to say such a dumb thing, not wasting any more time....
cheers.
Every Killer has counterplay, just because you're too bad to recognize their counterplay doesn't make them overpowered or uncounterable.
There's this secret little button that makes you crouch, which, don't tell anyone I told you this, makes your hit-box smaller, giving you the chance to dodge projectiles

lol who plays those killers without op addons every game? get your facts real. they all do. and then ofc no. by ranged killers i was talking about Huntress, deathslinger, twins to certain degree since he can throw victor... etc, those killers if u are injured most likely dead unless at a good structure or with DH. plus if u get """"""""""outplayed""""""" by a nurse u definitelly are bad cause she has a ton of counterplay besides not really having it just gimmicks, make better arguments next time.
Yes, Nurse and Blight need a few Add-Ons nerfs, but not everyone runs those Add-Ons.
You're not supposed to 1v1 the Killer. If you are injured and get found in a bad spot, then that's on you being bad and not on the Killer being overpowered.
Yes, if you get outplayed by Nurse, you're bad

No I mean if a survivor gets tunneled (and downed within a few seconds of getting unhooked) the killer can just leave them on the ground and pressure the other survivors while they wait out DS. Its all situational. My point is neither perk is really super effective at preventing tunneling.
Yes, that's the math I just did. 1 Survivor on the ground, 1 picking up and 2 on Generators.
No Perk should prevent tunneling, you shouldn't be able to 1v1 the Killer

Well for DS if a survivor got tunneled and is on the ground that is 1 less survivor working on a gen. Waiting out BT is just a few short seconds.
72 seconds are 144 seconds worth of Generator time, if the Survivor team is efficient, so it's a huge time loss for the Killer

I'm sorry how again can we punish killers that tunnel? Oh you mean the few that forget these perks exists. I've seen way more killers wait out those 2 perks than get punished by them. Once your mmr or whatever they use now puts you into a higher skill bracket those perks are essentially worthless in my opinion.
That's almost a Generator's worth of time the Killer wastes waiting for 2 Perks, that the Survivor may or may not have. That's a win in my book

Ah I see, I was completely confused about what your reply was to me, but apparently I did say "give you the ability to self care at the exact same speed of self care", and that's not what I wanted to say, my point was: I prefer self care, because considering all the setup, it's pretty much the exact same speed or even faster compared to CoH. So yes, that one thing is wrong.
Again, my point stands, that I personally find CoH is garbage outside a coordinated group and I very much prefer Self Care (better in dire situations and overall)
See? It wasn't so hard to admit your mistake.
As for Self-Care being better than CoH, yeah no.

You said it give you the ability to heal yourself at the EXACT same speed as Self-Care, which is wrong.
Here's the definition of exact:
CoH doesn't heal you precisely as fast as Self-Care, it heals you faster.

And your reply to that was:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2953823#Comment_2953823
So, you pretty much replied to something you made up? I wasn't talking about time it takes healing once it's all set up, I'm talking about the whole thing from scratch versus Self Care.
So, again, you just decided to reply to something you made up?
give you the ability to self care at the exact same speed of self care
Are you mad I disproved your false statement or what? You yourself said CoH gives you the ability to heal at the exact same speed as Self-Care, which is false, straight up false and incorrect

So you take 21 seconds to find a totem, bless it, and fully heal. Can I see a clip of this?
... the math is up there. If you don't like numbers, don't start talking about numbers?
If you really want to add the time it takes to, it's probably 5-10 seconds if you know Totem spawns, so setting it up is a net loss on Self-Care, the actual heal (the point of the Perk) is a huge gain
-

Yes, your math is off. Healing with CoH takes 21.3 seconds.
Blessing takes 14, and getting to the Totem after getting hit takes about 2-4 seconds, so it's better than Self-Care, as it takes around 24.3 seconds, if you know how to place it properly that is, which based on your posts, I doubt

No, you don’t understand. You can‘t just ignore half the game because you feel like it.
In a true 1v1 the killer has all the power, therefore they are the power role.
Most killers aren‘t as bad as you make them out to be, the problem seems to be being able to use them well. A killer is only as the player. If they suck then the survivors should have a good chance at winning.
Good killers aren‘t nearly as easy to beat as you make it out to be.
A lot of Killers are quite powerful if used effectively. They are the power role.
If survivors use their number advantage well they win. That‘s how it should be. The problem is the 1v4 here.
But for the sake of argument let‘s say I don‘t understand. That would be because you never explained yourself properly. What should be the base powerlifting then?
A lot of Killers are quite powerful if used effectively.
I love this, because it's so wrong.
The skill-ceiling isn't infinite with most Killers, about 81% of the Killer roster has a maximum skill-ceiling, and just being good won't get you any wins.
What you want to talk about is game knowledge, which doesn't have a ceiling, but it also won't help you with most of the Killers, because as I said previously, they're bad.
You need both to win, which even then you're not guaranteed to win, because Survivors, thanks to DH and the majority of Maps being Survivor-sided, always lead the chase, and have a bigger change to win than the Killer, unless they're playing Nurse and Blight, in which case the Killer takes control of the chase
-
That looked like a 90° flick to me, he was staring at that log full on, and then flicked right towards you

Na mate, your way exaggerating how survivor sided these maps are.
and most killers are only easy to loop if the killer isn‘t that good. Very few of them don’t have tools to deal with loops.
and again, a single survivor can‘t loop and do gens. In a 1v1 the killer has all the power.
If the survivors use their numbers advantage well and play decently they can make good killers sweat. That’s how it should be and it doesn‘t make survivors the power role.
is everything well balanced? No but survivors are not the power role
I don't think you understand me. I'm taking about a 1v1, a chase, not a literal 1v1 with no one else doing Generators.
No, most Killers are just straight up bad, just because they have ways to counter looping, doesn't mean those ways are of any use.
Trapper can place Traps, ok? They get disarmed and he's an M1 Killer.
Hillbilly, just use Windows.
Bubba, just use Windows.
Wraith, simple M1 Killer.
Myers, simple M1 Killer.
Doctor, simple M1 Killer, dodge his shocks from time to time.
Freddy, simple M1 Killer.
Pig, simple M1 Killer.
Clown, pre-drop Pallets.
Legion, simple M1 Killer.
Ghostface, simple M1 Killer.
Deathslinger, break LOS, ShiftW.
Trickster, break LOS, ShiftW.
Nemesis, break LOS, ShiftW.
Cenobite, simple M1 Killer, break chains with walls.
Onryō, simple M1 Killer

But they are not and they can‘t 1v1 most killers. Plenty of killers have tools to deal with loops, very few maps are actually that bad plus a single survivor can‘t do gens and evade the killer at the same time.
In a 1v1 scenario the killer most of the time has all the power.
Nah, not really.
Most Killers are extremely easy to loop, only some of them I'd say are difficult, like any Killer that is A tier or above are difficult to loop and every Killer under that depends on the Map.
There are plenty of Survivor-sided Maps, like every MacMillan Estate Map that isn't Shelter Woods, some Autohaven Wreckers, Eyrie Of Crows, Ormond, The Game, RPD, Lampkin Lane and Red Forest, and even some entire realms that are Survivor-sided, like Springwood, Coldwind Farm, Crotus Prenn Asylum, Backwater Swamp

Ah yes, CoH. That perk that takes 14 seconds to bless a totem, once you do find one, to then give you the ability to self care at the exact same speed of self care (only that self care has no pre-requisites) unless it's snuffed of course. That one perk that will be absolutely worthless in actual dire situations (2 people dead, 1 on hook, you're injured and need to heal, good luck finding a totem, blessing it, by the time it's blessed the person is already dead and obviously, the killer will have already found you) that totem that only truly shines now when multiple versions of them are being used by coordinated teams. Oh, right, SWF they call it.
Damn, it all seems to go back to SWF. Yes, yes, very overpowered perk indeed. I see it in my solo queue plays, maybe once every 20 matches. If that's the overpowered perk I can count on, I better only count on Deadhard then and keep my Self Care.
Your math is off, CoH takes 21.3 seconds, not 32 like Self-Care.
Please continue using Self-Care, I love free slowdown

And that‘s the number advantage. That‘s perfectly fine. If the survivors use their number advantage well, Splitpunkt and singend they should have a decent chance of winning.
if a good killer wants a 4K they‘re gonna get it if the survivors don‘t play efficiently.
Why shouldn‘t good survivors be able to win?
I never said Survivors 4v1'ing the Killer was bad, I said the Survivors are the power role.
The problem is that Survivors can also 1v1 most Killers, (thanks Dead Hard and bad Maps) which is what makes them overpowered

I understand what you are saying, however, survivors being able to stomp weaker killers does not make them the power role. The power role is essentialy the player that dictates the flow and rules of the game, not the player that has the most tools to win.
If the killer finds you, you have to move or run, otherwise he will get you and potentially remove you from the game.
If the killer is plague, or nemesis or legion or any other, you have to adjust your gameplay, you can't just act like the killer is wraith, or, again you might just be removed from the game.
The survivors can't really stop the killer, they just escape. You can't stop the killer from kicking a Gen, downing you, besides evasion, you can't really force him to do anything or even remove him from the game.
I understand that at higher levels of gameplay the survivors have enough resources to evade and escape from the majority of killers, except the elite ones and this leads to frustration and feelings of powerlessness, but this does not make them the power role, by definition, it just means the game is unbalanced.
This is actually the reason why I dislike playing survivor and main killer almost exclusively. I'm a mediocre player, so as survivor I often find myself unable to do, well, anything, with no power to prevent this other than hoping to remain hidden, that the killer is merciful or just less skilled than myself. No fun.
As killer, I can have fun and no one can stop me from playing the game or chasing whoever I want even if don't catch them. I might lose a game, but I'm still the power role and this I like.
Survivors are still the power role, they dictate the flow of The Trial and how long it lasts, and how it ends.
If good Survivors want to escape and you're not playing Nurse or Blight, they escape and you can't do anything about it

Impailing wire is exactly what makes him compete lol.
Demos shred is exactly why he can compete. Especially beings good survivors like to greed pallets and don't usually pre drop instantly. It gives openings for hitting that shred right before they reach the pallet they thought they could make again. Hitting that survivor that is trying for the window. Hitting that survivor at shack that messes up and vaults and there you are waiting for them to come out of the window.
I only see Impaling Wire help him on indoor Maps, otherwise it's passable at best.
That requires Survivors to make mistakes, which good Survivors won't do most of the time, and if they do finally make a mistake, it usually isn't enough to win the game
-
@BrokenSouI said:

They can though. The most important thing you can do to a 4 man is get downs. Huntress, Demo, Pinhead all excel at getting you hits that you wouldn't of otherwise(hits before or over of after pallets/windows)
Huntress maybe, but that's if she gets a good Map or not, but Demogorgon and Pinhead? Absolutely not.
As much as I love Demogorgon, he can't deal with a 4man. His Shred is amazing, one of the better "non-Blight/Nurse" 1v1 abilities in the game, but it's not enough to deal with Pallet density and DH validating Shred (which hasn't been fixed so I'm counting it as a base-kit feature).
Pinhead even more no.
A C, almost D tier, Killer is nowhere near good enough to beat even a 2man. His 1v1 worthless, barely passable with Impaling Wire and his Box depends solely on the Survivors

So you don’t think someone like pyramid head can compete? He’s crazy strong
No, his tunneling is good but requires Survivors to step on his Trails, and his 1v1 is pretty easy to dodge, unless Survivors make a big mistake, and it gets countered by DH

Pinhead(add ons), huntress, demo each can get the hits they need to get downs.
No, not really. If the Killer above them strength wise can't deal with 4mans, then they won't be able to either

While I completely agree survivors are the power role due to imbalanced map design. There's more then 2 killers that can get the hits they want and need

There are more than 2 killers that can compete
Yeah no, I gotta disagree big time.
The next Killer under Blight is Spirit, and without Add-Ons and maybe a good Map, she can't beat a good 4man

In tournaments, that's not true. Even low tier killers have been show to be able to compete in tournaments. Scott Jund made several videos shows tournaments where low tier killers were getting 2k/2e on average.
With DBD, you can't wait and see. Look at the key "rework" that was suppose to happen after the hatch rework, yet survivors still have 11 useless items in their bloodweb because no rework ever happened.
Are you talking about the Japanese tournament? The one where the Pig player crouched the entire Trial against bad Survivors?

survivors might not win every chase against them but they should atleast have some form of counterplay besides doing gens. There was literally nothing to do. Before slingers nerf his ads was .15 seconds. It was humanly impossible to dodge his spear in real time it’s completely impossible. PH when he planted his knife at windows you had 2 situations get hit through window or fake it and he hits you with M1 there was no way to counter that.
Survivors should have some counterplay to some chases and not completely lose the game. Nurse and blight are extremely strong killers but there counterplay is so fun and engaging that it balances out they have ways to deal with them. Like dodging the blinks or rushs or timing pallet stuns.
There always is counterplay. Deathslinger's counterplay was ShiftW and losing LOS, like every other ranged Killer.
Ok, if PH put Survivors in lose-lose situation and got therefore nerfed, why hasn't Demogorgon, which does the exact same thing, tho not trough walls, been nerfed? Maybe because Survivors put themselves in lose-lose situations, not the Killer.
Survivors control the flow of the chase, Killers can only react. If a Survivor tries to loop PH at an LT wall, we'll, no wonder they got hit
