She can't get buffed thanks to the useless stats the devs use to balance Killers. She has the highest kill rate (or among the highest) thanks to bad Survivors not knowing how to deal with her so in the devs eyes, she's fine
-
Doesn't matter if it gets fixed, Blight will the second best Killer regardless. What my issues are, is that removing it reduces the skill-ceiling, and that Survivors have yet another thing to complain about instead of acknowledging their mistakes

Is quite hilarious to see killer players complaining about something which they dont even understand in first place. NOBODY is complaining that Legion is OP, too strong or whatever. Its the same issue as before: playing mending simulator is totally annoying and just a waste of time. You can basically play two or three matches against proper killers or playing a single match vs Legion.
I've seen both types of complaints

I know its alot of work but the fact that quality rates increase is why
Isn't the quality increase like 1%? Resetting a Survivor (skin) 3 times for a 3% rarity increase isn't worth it, especially when the rarer Items/Add-Ons aren't that good most of the time
-
With the amount of suicides and D/C's Legion gets, I won't be surprised if they get nerfed
-
I don't know if I've been on a YouTube video, but I have versed Twitch streamers (really nice people), tho they weren't very big

Yes.

Didn't the first teaser have a cassette tape that was cut off? Maybe the teasers have to be glued together to get a full picture

idk, Maybe Midwich is a map where Blendettes are free to blend?
The brought a Med-Kit, the least stealthy Item in the game, i don't think she cared about blending
-
Why'd she bring you to Midwich, the most Killer-sided Map in the game?
-
- Anytime a Survivor starts running, their Aura is revealed to you for 4/5/6 seconds
- Predator then goes on a cooldown for 30/25/20 seconds

And what can survs do against bloodlust or windows blocked after 3 vaults?
Bloodlust 3 takes 45 seconds, that's over half a Generator for a single Health State. If the Killer uses Bloodlust 3 to get both hits, that is a 90 second chase, which should be more than enough to get 3 Generators done.
You can chain multiple Windows together to nullify the Entity Window Blockage.
Survivors aren't meant to 1v1 the Killer, and it's the reason Dead Hard is the most overpowered Perk in the game, it allows Survivors to 1v1 the Killer (3 times for every Hook State) and can be brought by every Survivor
-
Artist Add-On pass
-
Haddonfield has weird interactions with birds. I didn't get locked out off my Power for the entire Trial, but I did get locked out until it went on cooldown
-
Artist, no contest.
Why is Legion on the list but Demogorgon isn't?
-
Unfair trade.
NOED is inconsistent and usually a meh Perk.
Dead Hard is the strongest Perk in the game with no reliable counters other than playing Nurse
-
Barely changed.
Every house is an infinite, and the majority of the Pallets are God Pallets.
The street being a Dead-Zone isn't a big deal, as Survivors can just ShiftW to either a God house or a good loop in the corner of the Map and escape chase all together or loop the Killer for a very long time
-
- New CoH is still a very good Perk, but I don't think it needs any further nerfs
- Hemmorrhage has been (im my experience) hard to get value with, as Artist isn't an ideal 'Hit N Run Killer'. It's probably a God-given gift for Sadako tho
-
Nurse has the highest skill-floor, Billy and Blight have a higher skill-ceiling
-
What if I told you
Face camping could've been removed a long time ago if the devs tried to balance Killers around good players and not the tutorial bots
-
There'll never be a game like DbD

That’s true but it should be an outdoor map which will help at least a bit
Then again, Eyrie Of Crows is also a Map they approved, and then buffed.
I hope the devs never release a new Map until they at least try to balance the already existing ones
-
@Phasmamain said:
Must be a new map then I’d bet. Let’s hope it’s actually balanced this time though
Don't get your hopes up, we're talking about the people that thought RPD was a fit Map for DbD

Ghostbusters

Are you complaining about Amanda's Letter and Scratched/Vanity Mirror? Those are Add-Ons that hurt the Killer more than the Survivor

you call camping/tunneling playing seriously?
Yes.
Killing Survivors is my objective, and I like doing my objective. The Survivor tears I sometimes get are funny aswell.
Win-win, it's fun, and I'm doing my objective
-
Survivor
Power Struggle - I don't let stuff get in my way, even if what I'm doing isn't the best idea
Guardian - The Perk description is pretty spot on "While you have a reputation for being self-centered, you risk it all to help those in need."
We're Gonna Live Forever - Same as Guardian
No Mither - I'm not the smartest, I can be extremely dumb sometimes, but I can pick myself up in dire situations
Killer
The Legion - Perfect for people like me, they're annoying as hell
Brutal Strength - I enjoy destroying stuff
Spirit Fury - I have a tendency to break stuff when I get mad
Hex: Plaything - I can be quite unpredictable at times, and the Perk is annoying aswell
Knock Out - Pure sadism

Shadowborn is the best perk in the game! No meme-ry here.
Monstrous Shrine is better
-
@Seraphor said:
The one thing I do kinda agree with is making blink attacks special attacks.
This is true for Blight, so why not Nurse?
You want to see a Nurse running a full Exposed build or 4 slowdown Perks
Turning her Blink Attacks into Special Attacks would a buff for Nurse, as she'd have literally no reason to run anything other than 4 slowdowns, unless she wants to troll a bit with Shadowborn, Lightborn, Deerstalker and Coulrophobia
-
He's Add-On dependant, Map dependant, tile dependant.
If 1 of those things aren't in his favor, he loses.
Oh, this 1 loop has high walls? Too bad, leave chase, try again.
You're not using his best Add-Ons? Too bad, go to the lobby and equip them.
You get a "bad" (literally every Map can be hell for him)? Too bad, just get luckier lmao ggez
-
- Iron Maiden will now permanently afflict Survivors with the Exposed Status Effect
-
It means they don't play Killer at all, or play once every 3 days or so
-
No
-
I've played ~35 or so Trials as Artist the last couple of days. Survivors did Generators, please ban them!

I honestly don’t think he’d fit into the game, Scarecrow would be a way better fit to be a killer in DBD in my honest opinion.
@dugman said:
I'm ok in principle with a Batman villain being in the game, although honestly Scarecrow would be my first choice.
I wouldn't mind Scarecrow, thematically he's better, but game play wise, I don't know how he'd work

At low skill level he was dominating, was a threat to the future of dbd, like he had close to 70% killrate.
He was a threat because Survivors didn't want to get good, that's what you're saying?
Such amazing logic applies to EVERY SINGLE KILLER aside from Nurse, should we nerf every Killer aswell?

If they took his lunge away because they thought he didn't need it and it was "a wee bit op," do you think they'd give him a gun or something? Something that wasnt even enough to make him good was taken away because of how out of touch the devs are with balance. What makes you think asking for more would be realistic?
Wraith with a gun would be amazing
-
@Ryuhi said:
just give him his lunge back, imo. It gave him a bad, yet servicable, degree of anti-loop. Kinda silly how that alone was the thing that made him almost viable.
Even with his bigger lunge, he still was C tier at best. He needs more buffs than a bigger lunge to be "almost viable"

You really care about getting a 4k? Imo if the last survivor has to rely on hatch, you have pretty much won the game.
Yes, I care about completing my objective, I don't like when a RNG pity mechanic for losing robs me of my objective
-
@_AdamFrancis_ said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2942485#Comment_2942485
The Hatch was a mechanic intending for the survivor to be able to have an alternate means of escape, something that can rob that is unfair.
No matter how you put it, the Hatch is a pity escape the Survivors have after losing.
Having a Perk (not a base-kit feature, a Perk, that also needs Tokens to be useful) that counters that is fair
-
Hatch robs the Killer from a 4K, I think No Way Out countering Hatch is fine
-
He was and still is the worst Killer in the game, he needs a lot of changes

Who decides what playing normally means? I mean to others you might not be playing normally at all.
Regarding basement Trapper I would switch out STBFL for either Deadlock or No Way Out.
"Normal" (at least in my opinion) means participating in a Trial while using a combination of strategies, like a bit of proxy camping, tunneling and spreading pressure.
What OP is doing is playing "abnormally" (in my opinion), focusing on a single strategy
-
@DoritoHead said:
This one was hard! I'll have to go with Artist because of her ability to shut down pretty much every loop in the game and how she can pressure gens.
That's the only correct answer, good job

@Viskod said:
I think Dead Hard complaints are as overblown as Dead Hard usefulness. Rarely do I have a survivor use it to its fullest potential and most people bring it because they're being told to or they just think its better than any alternative for them.
So many people have it only to use it before I even swing at all, fall for a fake swing, or just use it out in the open to go forward and just delay getting hit by a second.
So many other better perks to bring that could be more useful on a team basis than Dead Hard if that's the best you can do.
You're going against bad Survivors.
Dead Hard's usefulness takes a deep dive when Survivors don't know how to use it, but is the best Perk in the game if Survivors know how to use it, which isn't hard, just press a button when out of reach of a Pallet or Window
-
Meant to choose C
Discordance is way too inconsistent and requires Survivors to play inefficiently for it to activate. The info however, is pretty useful
-
@KateDunson said:
Just bait it out, i don't have any problem with it, the devs will never nerf it because is the only good counter to god nurses
"Bait it out 4head"
When will this die out? It's straight up false. Waiting Dead Hard for distance out is impossible

Ok so me going down 1 time is extremely bad? The first survivor dying in the end game is extremely bad?
Yes, since your team wasn't efficient enough to get a 3E
-
If your team got tied with 4 Hooks, your team played extremely bad
