1991's dead space. By far the most ridiculously terrible horror movie i have ever seen. Funny that one of the best horror GAMES of all time was made with the same name.
-
Flatten their asses. Thats where all their power is stored.
-
November fourth, i believe.

Not randomly, slinger just got fun patched out of him as one of the best chase killers and nemesis is very similiar to him with his chase gameplay so naturaly people moved to him insted and so he's next on chopping block for the sake of fun gameplay for survivors.
You're probably right, but it still confuses me. Feels like theres so many other anti-loop killers that are a lot more agonizing to go against than nemmy. Plus nemmy has a cool aesthetic and great music, im really not sure how people can hate on him. Boggles my mind.

You can’t tell me that survivors can’t get huge distance while the Nurse is carrying a survivor. Unless she’s picking up then immediately dropping, she still has to hook that survivor then begin looking for others. By then you best be on your way. Starstruck only has a surprise factor at most once in a trial either way.
You'd think, but the good nurses don't run usually run things like recharge addons. They run distance addons, because they know with their level of skill distance addons make them nigh inescapable. Even if you sprint a decent distance away, theres a very sizable range she can move, of which she could stop at any point within and potentially find you scuttling about. The reason people hate this build is because when it works, it REALLY works. But when it isn't working, you can still get caught out as the unlucky survivor that just happened to be randomly found as you are running away from her while shes carrying, since she has periscope vision while moving through objects, and that just feels terrible. The build is annoying because in the hands of the nurse, it effectively accounts for both skillful survivor tracking and completely random survivor tracking.
-
Otzdarva was right. People really do just randomly hate nemesis now.
-
Im gonna be the controversial one again and say people in this entire thread are massively understating the power of this build. A good nurse doesn't NEED aura reading perks, she just needs an approximate location. Once a good nurse finds you, you are pretty much dead. Especially with starstruck. So an approximate location is more than enough to simply blink over and survey the area, if you spot a survivor welp guess they're dead. if you don't, you still downed somebody and have a solid amount of exposed on usually least 1 or more survivors. No matter what the survivor team does against this build, they will always be in a bad spot. And unless they are a coordinated SWF very experienced in dealing with agi startstruck nurses, they're gonna die and they're gonna die fast. it doesn't feel good as a solo queue player to go against that type of nurse, since you spend so little of the match actually playing the game and spend most of it dangling on a hook or bleeding out on the ground. The only time this build sucks is when a wannabe nurse uses it, of which thankfully comprises the majority.

Never thought i'd see the day where i'd unironically agree with somebody recommending bloodhound. What has this world come to.
-
> Like get rid of the clothes not and just go full on skin armor monster. I think that would've been incredible. But as it is I like it but I think it is alright.NAKED NEMESIS
NAKED NEMESIS
on a side note i actually really like the skin. might be in the minority of nemmy players on that regard, but i think its quite lovely.
-
Absolutely. I am very passionate about this game, despite my criticisms of it. It is the only game besides tf2 that i have put in over 2000 hours into, i love this game despite all its faults and enjoy involving myself in its community. Its very unique in a lot of ways that i simply just can't get anywhere else.
-
A big part of survivor strategy is learning how to maximize loop efficiency. Primarily one of those things is guaranteeing fast vaults, which is more than mechanically possible at nearly every loop in the game with proper spacing and movement. I learned a long time ago how to do this, and rarely ever get medium vaults. I don't say this very often, but if you are medium vaulting often enough for it to be detrimental to your gameplay you seriously need to git gud
-
Good thing im already humbled by my own general ineptitude
-
Wouldn't that just mean the killer always gets it if you aren't already there? most of them are much faster than you, plus they have direct control of when it opens, so they'll know exactly when to walk over.
-
Not in any way that particularly matters.
-
Lockdown for the last two or so years has kinda majorly changed any halloween plans i used to have. I just sorta buy a #########-ton of candy and binge watch horror movies/play horror games until i crash. Fun way to celebrate the new halloween :>
-
New skin, but no fix to a game breaking bug specific to phead. Color me surprised.
-
IMO more stranger things skins woulda been rad. Always hopped for a hopper skin for steve and a lindsey skin for nancy, but oh well.
-
Nothing! And i'm ready to throw down with anybody who thinks candy corn is bad. The taste is kind of hard to describe, but it is VERY sweet, it doesn't really have a "flavor" its more just a very tangy sweet taste. I've met a lot of people who like and dislike candy corn, but primarily the majority of people who i've met who disliked it have said they disliked it because its wayyyy too sugary.
-
No, i think the perk itself is fine but i think it needs a more reasonable method of announcing its presence before somebody gets hit, so it doesn't feel so terrible when you get backhanded by it.

i WISH that was my outside lmao. Texas is barren and pretty sad to look at
-
Alright, im outside. Now what do i do?

Extremely unfun and generally pretty op. Shadowstep kills every single aura reading perk in the game if survivors consistently put it up in high traffic areas, not to mention it can make it nigh impossible to track on loops with lots of LOS breaks. Circle of healing makes hit and run killers like legion and wraith completely redundant, since the perks allows an infinite method of healing yourself back to full relatively quickly. You basically have to commit to survivors now as lower tier killers since you literally cannot afford to spread pressure. The boons are very unfun.
I assume they'll get a huge nerf like MoM

Unless BHVR changed their mind, no.
They said they will never put the Creeper into this game. There will always be a stigma attached to the name.
Rather ironic now that its name is the creeper, isn't it?
-
Cheryl. Call me overly emotional but it breaks my heart to hear how pained and panicked she sounds when shes injured. Makes me wanna heal up or heal them fast because i cant stand to see her in such agony. I don't think any of the other survivors nail how truly panicked you'd be in a situation like that.
-
Well yeah? Hes exceptionally boring. He lost one of his main allures (his voicelines) and became just another faceless m1-anti loop killer. The reason we still constantly talk about killers like blight and nurse is because they have incredibly interesting and varied gameplay. What does pinhead do? m2-into m1 with the occasional box usage. Hes faded into obscurity rather rapidly because hes boring as hell.

I hope you enjoy it! Small tip: probably don't use the runaway, she kinda sucks big time.

You just reminded me that I need to pick up Darkest Dungeon 2. I miss Wayne June.
I like it a lot, if you're there just for more of the characters and art of darkest dungeon, the game offers it in spades. I think if you're a sizable fan its a worthwhile purchase, plus it'll technically get free updates as it develops through early access.

There is no blade wipe animation. I Assume you are talking about the blood splatter and scream, which i do agree should be removed or fixed somehow.

Overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer

Laurie jabbed him in the eyes with a coat hanger in the first movie, and then in another movie slashed him across both his eyes.

Nemesis main here, you are actually mental if you think nemesis is in the viable tier.

honestly this is the one and only cosmetic i will largely question the canon of. I'd be very suprised if some Scottish chemistry nerd managed to sneak up on or subdue a penance demon from a separate dimension.

Keep in mind that the devs want the game balanced so that the most common results are some survivors escape and some are killed. They want 4 kills and 0 kills to be less common. But that means that the median result has to be that the exits are opened assuming both sides play equally well. However there are a fair number of people who post that incorrectly assume the balance point is supposed to be a 50/50 shot of the generators being finished, so get upset when most of their games the survivors open the doors.
Basically if most of your games you are getting 1-3 kills then the system is working as intended for you. They’re not going to buff killers if that’s what’s happening. Now if the average is actually slanted so too many games have 3-4 people escaping against certain killers or overall then they might address that is my guess. But I have data on the current state after this last patch indicating where the medians lie so who knows?
my clown ass out here consistently getting 0 kills anyways

Yeah, now killers are getting robbed of their fair hits. Pretty good job so far
DBD is just a lengthy chess game of robbing one side or the other, just like civilization!
-
I guess its because some people view it as a crutch that bad players use to make up for their inability to win games before the endgame. I would definitely says its a crutch, but the toxic mentality that the people who use it are completely skilless definitely needs to go.

The duality of survivor and killer.
Truly a fight of the ages
-
The same as any nurse. Generally miserable if they are even somewhat decent at her. The few nurses i have seen use this addon so far are the extremely sweaty ones, who are already very good at nurse. I assume they are either just trying to make their games easier or are trying to relive old nurse. Either way its not particularly fun.
-
Plague by a massive margin. I pretty much like or feel indifferent towards every other killer in the game, but god damnnnn does plague get my knickers in a twist. It pisses me off how many avenues this killer cuts off simply by virtue of existing, and her slowdown is completely unbearable. Shes not even that hard to go against if the person playing her isn't very smart, but the level of slowdown and the constant coughing and the gross vomit is too much. Its just not fun.

You are free to your opinion. I still stand by mine. Call me a noob killer but I absolutely look to scratch marks at least 50% of the game to see the direction a survivor takes. If they going for an unhook or you get sidestepped at a jungle gym. Scratch marks are huge and so are basically disabling aura reading perks and add-ons. I feel its "game-breaking"
Hard agree. Shadow step is obscenely powerful because it eliminates every killers (except nurse) primary method of long distance tracking. Scratch marks and auras. If they are running iron will as well, now you also lose your primary method of close distance tracking. Combine these two perks and you get an incredibly unfair amount of sensory deprivation that makes it way too confusing to track the survivor. And good luck catching them if they're running lucky break, because then even if they exit shadow steps radius they still retain its effect for a limited amount of time. No blood either, so screw you even further.

Kindred? Sure. Corrupt? Absolutely the ######### not

Kinda looks like they used a snapchat filter on him. He looks like an E-boy, not a highly traumatized middle aged man.
-
Give him a glock.
-
Evan Macmillan (Trapper): He would likely be questioned over the mining disaster, and the relatively questionable death of his father. Though due the public assuming he had died in the mining disaster, blame would be shifted off of him shortly and he would be able to return back to what his life once was. However, due to what the entity had done to him, he would likely live out the rest of his human days an incredibly broken man who would never recover.
Phillip Ojomo (Wraith): Wraith would highly likely either be killed by the mob, or eventually hunted down by the police and arrested for the appallingly gruesome mutilation of Azarov. Phillip would likely quickly forget what happened in the entities realm, believing it to be a dream as he is now faced with the very real consequences of what he had done before being taken. His life as he knew it would end very shortly after he returned.
Max Thompson (Hillbilly): Lives relatively peacefully on his farm for a short time, killing all those who trespass. Eventually the urban legend is understood to police as more than just legend, and he inevitably meets his end at the hand of a large squadron of police who are dispatched to deal with the legendary killings. The joy he felt finally exerting the control he always longed for in the entities realm never leaves him, and with his dying breath he is content knowing he left his mark on a world that was so willing to forget him.
Sally Smithson (Nurse): This one is easy. Sally is quickly apprehended by police, and trialed in a court of law. Both due to her mental state before being taken, and how drastically her mental state would be affected after returning, she would be determined to be mentally unfit to stand trial and deemed criminally insane. She would be shipped off to a mental asylum, where we should endure the same torment she dealt unto others until her eventual death of natural causes. Every night she would wail and cry to empty space, about an eldritch god known to nobody.
Micheal Myers (Shape): Continues his legacy through the further movie adaptations, he continues to kill, and is never stopped. His time in the entities realm is but another legacy of murders to him, one he quickly forgets as the memory serves no purpose to him.
Lisa Sherwood (Hag): Dies immediately upon returning to the normal world. When the entity took her, her wounds were so severe that it had to intervene to keep her alive. By the time search parties find her body, it is a pile of sinew barely clinging to old bones.
Herman Carter (Doctor): Tried by the CIA for his involvement in his extremely brutal extra-judicial experiments utilizing government funding. Due to his reputation and wealth, the trial is very public. The trial brings about a new understanding of scientific morality, bringing a new age of ethics. Herman carter is put to death, ironically, via the electric chair. Even when being placed into the chair, Herman laughs the whole way, relieving the grand entertainment that was the entities realm.
Anna (Huntress): Continues to live out her days in the Russian tundra, presumably up until her death of old age. She is an expert survivalist and continues to use that skill to stay alive. Her time in the entities realm further warped her mind, and she is unable to ever mother a child, Dying cold, alone, and completely unknown to the world in a lodge deep in the forest.
Bubba Sawyer (Cannibal): Bubba returns to his family, even further damaged by his time in the entities realm than he was before. Their stories continue further in the sequels, with the only true change being bubbas significantly more damaged psyche.
Freddy Kreuger (Nightmare): Returns to elm street and continues to torment the residents. He puts the experience he gained in the entities realm to use, devising new unimaginable ways to torture his victims.
Amanda Young (Pig): Dies immediately upon returning to the normal world. Barely able to process everything she had just experienced, she clutches at the bullet in her neck and succumbs to her wound.
Kenneth Chase (Clown): Kenneth, a true psychopath to boot, simply returns to killing once he is brought back. He puts to use his experience in the entities realm, however as the law evolves and Kenneth gets sloppier, he is eventually caught and apprehended. Due to how the law functioned during his time, he is likely put to death.
Rin Yamaoka (Spirit): Dies immediately upon returning to the normal world. Her father receives life in prison for his crimes, and a memorial is erected for her and is often visited to pay tribute to the young girl who lost her life in such a gruesome way. However she is eventually forgotten by the public, and fades peacefully into obscurity.
F, J, S, J. (The Legion): The extreme trauma they endured in the entities realm hangs heavy over them, being so young their brains have no way to cope with everything that has just occurred. Susie and joey turn themselves in to the police, admitting to the murder and burial of the janitor. During interrogations they are deemed mentally unfit for trial, and are likely committed to a psychiatric ward. They are likely released much later in their life after they are deemed rehabilitated. Frank and Julie continue to kill, and are eventually apprehended due to their sloppiness. They both receive a life sentence, and eventually die of old age on the hard concrete of their prison cells.
Adiris (Plague): Dies immediately to the plague upon returning to the normal world. Her flock eventually succumb to the disease as well. Her body and temple are studied by historians far into the future, who archive her efforts to save her flock from the disease. The artifacts of her people are put on display in a museum, assuring she is remembered for a lengthy time.
Jed Olsen (Ghost Face): Immediately continues to kill upon returning from the realm, he returns to his normal meticulous routine, and much like the zodiac killer is likely never caught. He eventually dies of old age, living out his final thrill by filling his current apartment with years of evidence to his killings. Nobody visits his funeral.
Demogorgon: Returns to the upside-down to continue the bidding of the mind-flayer. Little else is known as to what it does from there.
Kazan Yamaoka (Oni): Awakens to find himself lying in a pile of rubble, bleeding to death. He cannot move his body, having already lost too much blood. In his final few minutes of consciousness, he reflects on everything that occurred. All of the death, the rage, the bloodshed. It was all for naught. As he lays dying, he atones for his atrocities, feeling at peace with himself. He is buried in an unmarked grave.
Caleb Quinn (Deathslinger): Deathslinger awakens from what he presumed to be a long rest on the floor of a prison cell, he is shaken by the violent nightmares of endless murder, but eventually forgets it as it passes into memory. Due to the grizzly murders they just commited, the hellshire gang flee the area and eventually break apart to avoid law enforcement. Caleb isolates himself, eventually using his genius to establish a career in engineering. He makes damn well sure he is never taken advantage of ever again, and dies a highly successful engineer. The story of the bounty hunter turned famous engineer becomes a fan favorite among historians. His moral ambiguity is debated by many.
Pyramid Head (Executioner): Ceases to exist. Without the mind of james sunderland to maintain his form, he dissipates into nothing. As if he had never even existed in the first place.
Talbot Grimes (Blight): Deranged, Deformed, with a once promising career in ruin, talbot is likely commited to an asylum. He is frequently experimented on by curious scientists, a truly torturous existence for a man that is barely capable of higher thought. He never recovers, spending his final days in that asylum in unimaginable psychological and physical agony.
Charlotte Deshayes (Twins): Dies of hypothermia. Though she may be cold and alone, the memory of finally being reunited with her brother in the entities realm comforts her as she passes. Some part of her knew it was more than just a dream, and this gives her the single shred of joy she ever had as the life fades from her body. Her body is never found.
Ji-Woon Hak (Trickster): By the time the bodies of all his managers are found, he is long gone. He is never found, and whatever happened to the K-pop star turned serial killer becomes a frequently spoken about mystery. Ji-woon never kills again, truly never being able to top such a masterful set of murders. He dies under a new name, in a new country, buried like the many other faceless individuals who were never truly known by the world. Though unbeknownst to many, the man buried in that coffin was Ji-Woon Hak.
Nemesis: Without jill to stop him, nemesis is never killed. He is eventually returned to umbrella, who continue to use him as one of their ultimate bioweapons. Many are killed at his hands.
Pinhead: (Cenobite): Continues his movie continuity. His time in the entities realm effects his very little.
-
Nemesis is flesh and blood. He bleeds, he can die.
Pyramid head cannot. He is an immortal being created by the conscious of a deeply damaged individual, and can only be truly defeated by the admittance of ones guilt and becoming truly penitent.
-
Hung survivor? Didn't know we were talking about jeff.
-
You can't really stop survivors from healing (with the exception of plague.) IMO healing slowdown is kinda worthless, making them take longer to heal really doesnt matter since in the scenario they are attempting to be healed or heal themself, they arent gonna be doing anything anyways. Making them take a few seconds longer barely changes much, especially since the medkit meta is in full swing at the moment. Circle of healing won't "kill" sloppy so much as it will exacerbate the already lackluster nature of anti-healing perks.
-
Plenty of times. You cant win every one, and sometimes you just get slammed really hard by a group of super coordinated solos or SWF.
